Description: Those from the second generation of Dragon Slayers have had Dragon Lacrima implanted into their bodies, granting them the ability to use Dragon Slayer Magic. Because they were not taught their abilities by a Dragon, they are considered artificial Dragon Slayers. Dragon Slayers are known to possess keener senses than those of normal humans such as smell, as well as distinctive characteristics and features such as slitted pupils and noticeably sharper teeth.

Lore: In the early days of Earthland, when the Dragons reigned supreme, Nacht, the Nightmare Emperor, also known as the Dragon of the End, almost annihilated the Earthland realm completely to entertain himself. He would spare enough to allow Earthland to rebuilt itself each time before returning to do the same thing over and over again. During these periods in between his arrivals, Nacht returned to his own realm to slumber or traversed elsewhere to keep himself entertained.

Some of the other Dragons realized that Earthland would eventually cease to exist if Nacht kept on returning. Thus, Yarghast the Dimensional Dragon, Xenon the Galaxy Dragon, and Zarathustra the Chronos Dragon sealed away Nacht in his Nightmare realm during one of his slumbers. Despite the three not getting along well, they recognized the threat Nacht presented to the world.

Qarilian the Devourer Dragon, however, did not agree with the actions of the other three. Without Nacht, he was outnumbered and they could do the same to him. Therefore, Qarilian usurped the powers of other Dragons to prepare himself for such an ordeal. The constant paranoia drove him to strike first eventually which resulted in the Clash of the Ancient Dragons. The constant output of their powers caused their mana to pour down on Earthland and take form into a large lacrima shard. Once consumed, it would grant someone a fraction of their powers. In the end, the battle concluded without any winners, thus the Ancient Dragons agreed that they would no longer frequent Earthland anymore to avoid any more unnecessary bloodshed among them.

Requirements:


  • The user must possess a First Generation Dragon Slayer magic. The element of the magic does not matter.


Restrictions:


  • The magic requires one available Enhancement slots.

Note:


  • The user will become a Third Generation Dragon Slayer upon purchasing this lacrima.
  • The user does not need a class capable of performing these spell types.
  • The user needs to train the spells.

Third Generation Dragon Slayer Bonus:


  • The user receives Moderate Resistance to Arcane.

Dragon Slayer Bonus:


  • The user's spells do double damage versus Dragons. The damage does not change versus Dragons of the same element.
  • The user has an enhanced smell that allows them to smell anyone within a 25-meter radius. They can only associate the smell with someone if they have smelled them before in a topic. The user can't pinpoint their location to fight blindly. It simply tells them that whoever they are smelling is within a 25-meter radius.

Galaxy Dragon Slayer Gimmick:


  • The user is able to find anyone regardless of wherever the desired subject happens to be at the moment. This ability allows the user to instantly gain knowledge of a subject's location and find even the most reclusive players. This can only be used against other users and not versus non-player characters. In addition, it can only be used to sense within the realm of Earthland. The awareness cannot be used in individual topics for combat purposes. It can only be used to find the location of another user.

Having done this, the gravity of the intended location is then increased, decreasing the speed of anyone within. It does not add up extra costs for additional persons inside this range, however, it affects both foes and allies. It does not affect the user though.

    Effect: The user places their hand in front of them and creates a White Hole with a diameter of 5 meters. This White Hole shoots out the spells which had been absorbed by the Black Hole at the target. While it is an Arcane-type A-rank spell, the damage sent out by this spell can be varied based on what had been absorbed by the Black Hole; i.e., even multiple types of elements are possible. Also, since the Black Hole is a Defensive-type spell, it could absorb more than just S-rank, increasing the White Hole's damage potential to beyond S-rank.

    Requirements

    • Paranoia: The Spirit of Midas inside the Gauntlet carries on his strong desire to keep the Gauntlet to himself, this spreads to the current bearer. Midas' corrupted will affects the user with a strong desire to protect and keep the gauntlet from others, eventually turning into paranoia.
    • Fused: The Midas' Gauntlet is permanently fixed to the user's hand until their death or the loss of the hand.

    • Golden Touch: Anything struck by the Midas' Gauntlet will immediately turn to gold and become immobile if the target's overall or limb durability reaches its limits the effect will apply across the limb or the entire rest of the targets body. Note: This effect does not apply to the user or their equipment.
    • Midas' Nullification: Midas' Gauntlet can turn spells into gold upon hitting it. The wielder must pay the same amount of mana as the spell they are hitting to transmute it.

    • Type Scouter: The user can see the type (Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary etc.) of a spell when looking at one, and also the elemental-type to which that spell belongs. The user can also see which type of mana a target possesses when looking at them (Fire, Water, Earth etc.).
    • Mana Seeker: The user can see mana with the Millennium Eye. Therefore, even if their vision is completely blurred or the target is invisible, they can still see the silhouettes of whoever that possesses mana. Depending on how much mana they possess, the silhouette appears brighter or dimmer.

    Hair: He has long white hair which commonly is loose with much reaching down to his waist while allowing his bangs to drape over much of his face.

    Eyes: His right eye is amber while an artificial golden eye occupies Kon’s left eye socket; This prosthesis gives him enhanced visual acuity enabling him to reveal details that are otherwise impossible to see with the naked eye.

    Overall: Kon has an hourglass figure of a youthful twenty-something after being transformed from a man into a woman several years ago. Stuck in this state, he has had to compensate as best as he can. ???. His combat attire is far more domineering wearing full dragon scale armor using purple undertones to fit with his draconic, yet feminine theme.

    Extra: Two draconic horns originating from the base of his skull on either side mimicking a crown and a diminutive tail acting as an appendage in all but the most strenuous activities i.e combat.

    PERSONALITY



    Konstantin is an organised, orderly and most importantly divisive individual. Rising at dawn to paint or practice an instrument during the early hours of the morning before beginning his assigned duties. Through torture and memory manipulation at the hand of the Midnight Cult, Konstantin has become jaded individual. Lacking both traditional inhibitions and the emotional ties to his past allows him to embrace the brutal, harsh side of himself.

    Due to his sheer awareness in his abilities as a mage, he is incredibly self-confident in them and prefers to work independently. He is very calculating, Often he will hang back from the fights and support his allies or just examine the surroundings of his target planning out different strategies. His choice to remain in the background stems from his ability to hit targets from afar. His methods of combat allow him to minimize the casualties of innocent citizens and his comrades.

    Konstantin does not find great pleasure in violence simply finding it simply as a means to an end, merely encouraging the idea of doing needs to be done. Lacking the restraints that many are tied behind, He performs actions that few would be willing to do voluntarily; Torture, manipulation are all acts that he partakes in, all undertaken with the utmost care to ensure discretion as to avoid any repercussions from society.

    LIKES & DISLIKES,



    Likes:


    • Music & Art: Since losing the strong relationships that Kon had formed in the recent years in particular with his closest friend and life-partner Adelaide Sokolov, he has begun to focus his separate time on developing his artistic and musical talents. Painting watercolours with local flora and fauna as his inspirations while making oil paintings of his comrades and even himself or spending his time practising various musical instruments including piano, violin and flute.

    • Fine Dining: Falling back onto his long-forgotten roots of the upper class, Konstantin thrives when eating food made from master chefs while hastily made food and camping rations sicken him unless cooked with the same prowess. Food of poorer quality is only accepted by the man when given as the only option, as a gift or during critical times such as while travelling to a mission.


    Dislikes:


    • The Monarchy: Although Kon has lost a majority of his memories he is still aware of the conflicts that took places in Fiore specifically the ones that included him, Having learnt the dark guild Grimoire Heart’s leader had orchestrated the entire campaign has led him to question the validity of such a system of government viewing it as a relic from a distant time.

    • Debauchery: Being a man of faith, Konstantin finds that excess of sinful activities to be distasteful. Excess of these acts is where he finds faults in with him impartial to the occasional consumption of alcohol and recognising the rights of those to partake in sexual activities.


    MOTIVATIONS &
    FEARS



    Motivations:


    • Power: While Konstantin is a significantly powerful magician capable of doing amazing feats, he endeavours to grow and develop his abilities further in the hopes that he could contend against anyone that stands in front of him.


    Fears:


    • Earthland submitting to other Beings: Good and Evil, Seraphim and Demons, Illumin and the Demonic Gods, have been in a conflict since the beginning of time. This never-ending war concerns the wizard with him fearing that the good in people may falter and evil may overrun society bringing an end to peace and harmony.

    The Соколов otherwise known as Sokolov Family were once a proud and rich family that stretches back through dozens of generations in the Myra town province residing there since it’s conception acting as merchants for the land, first arriving there as a survivors of a plague that had killed a majority of the small town they had originated from.

    They eventually went into darker roots mix business affairs with those of magic nature as well as doing under the table deals with raider leaders to have them attack other merchants caravans while leaving theirs alone. The family’s influence was one of the reasons that the town expanded into what it is today with multiple sectors for the different classes to reside and was highly praised by the leaders during the peak of their power being able to sway the decisions of the leaders for the better.

    The family finally began its decline during the revolt unintentionally caused by the class segregation, and later the supreme leader coming to power taking away most of their riches held in their warehouses and trading duties under the umbrella of the town controlled services, with it turning from a well known and feared name to a name only mentioned in the dark corners of inns by those against the man.

    Since the death of Boris Sokolov and Robert Sokolov becoming the head of the family it's ties have grown further entrenched with those in dark guild, as Robert similar to his brothers joined a magical affiliation after he acquired his own form of magic just as the rest of the brothers had.

    Sokolov Manor


    Recently Konstantin has gained the deed to a manor in the humble town of Orchidia. Not much is known about the previous owner only that they were in some way associated with Grimoire Heart. The Sokolov Manor is not that much different from most manors in the area. There is a ballroom, dining rooms, lots of guest rooms and square with a fountain outside. He hopes to make the manor not just a house but overall a home for himself and his partner Alice.

    PERSONAL HISTORY


    Corrupted History:
    Konstantin vaguely recalls being born into a large family whose names and faces he has since forgotten only remembering that he was the middle child with having four other brothers of a wealthy family. Remembering scraps of his past such as tragic events such as the death of his mother, the neglect from his absent father or the abuse inflicted by his brother, plague his memories constantly. All these events were compounded in their intensity and their outcome with those memories being vivid more violent than in comparison to the original version.

    The death of his mother previously associated with the pregnancy of his youngest brother had shifted to a brutal and bizarre memory of a Dark Elf tearing her to pieces bringing him to tears and inconsolable with her violent death. Taking place during the same period with him being forced to watch by an illusion of his blood-lusting elder brother. This was one of his earliest memories that he still held onto allowing him to understand what lengths the deranged would go to fulfilling their desires.

    The memory of neglect from his father while initially emotionally stunting Konstantin was worsened by changing his simple absence to additional falsified parental abuse from his father along with taking the role of the abuse performed by his eldest brother in his life before he and his brothers were shipping off to Fiore for their protection. This must have lasted a significant time, with his scattered memories only recollecting that he had been receiving this treatment for years.

    So they were shipped across Fiore with his siblings to a Dormitory in the freezing mountains near the border to the countries in the east, it was here where he spent little over a decade following precise orders, studying, debating, calculating and developing his intellect to become a battle strategist. Once again these activities were replaced with more heavy-handed ones being abused alongside his peers commonly be held out in the bitter cold with him severely injured at one point while lacking any physical marks indicative of such an injury.

    He, formerly, would often bore and annoy both his classmates and friends by trying to discuss minor details which amused him. Rather than simply boring and annoying his classmates and now absent friends his attempts to discuss topics with his peers would result in further harsh treatment causing him to become more socially isolated both from his peers and even his family who responded in the same vein. This formerly entertaining, now cruel and psychologically damaging, education was brought to an end shortly before his birthday when he and his brothers had been requested to return to his home as his father had died in his sleep, with his death serving to provide little justice for the pain he had inflicted.

    Shortly after the funeral of his father, he found out that their return to their home was not to pay his respect to the man whom formerly he felt no attachment to, now instead held an unbridled rage towards, but was also to have one of them to partake in a family magic tradition. The Blood Sacrifice ceremony which involves the sacrifice of a virgin girl by a member of the family. A memory of his past was otherwise largely unaltered with it being already being disturbing. Instead, however, He took the role as the person doing the barbaric act, rather than once again his eldest brother.

    After performing the ceremony, he and his brothers tried to flee from his family by going into the forbidden, sacred forests that surrounded his hometown. During his time within the Rune Knights, Kon swiftly gained power while isolating himself from others until he learnt of Illumin, the Holy Knights and their abilities to manipulate magic to their will.

    True History:
    Konstantin has a rather large sized family which is the norm for the Sokolov household, he is the middle child of Boris and Sonja Sokolov, with their children consisting of His eldest brother, Robert, Dmitry, Himself, Aleksandr and his youngest brother, Victor.

    He was born into the life of luxury as one of the children of the head of the family who held a majority of families dwindling riches. After the birth of the youngest son, Sonja grew gravely ill, with their father, Boris couldn't find a way to save Sonja despite all the money the family had, so he removed himself from the outside world choosing to spend his days studying the arts of necromancy in the hopes to bring the love of his life to him.

    Boris’s obsession led to him completely forgetting his children including Konstantin who were instead looked after by maids and tutors, each of them handled their mother's death and their father's absence differently, for example, this was the cause for Robert's distaste towards the rest of the family as they often would protect Victor from Robert, who blamed him for the entire affair.

    Eventually after Victor reached 6 years old one of the maids demanded the absent-minded almost mad Victor that the younger children should begin school, so they were shipped across Fiore with his siblings to a Dormitory in the freezing mountains near the border to the countries in the east, it was here where he spent a little over decade following precise orders, studying, debating, calculating and developing his intellect to become a battle strategist.

    He would often bore and annoy both his classmates and friends by trying to discuss minor details which amused him. This entertaining education was brought to an end shortly before his 19th birthday when he and his brothers had been requested to return to his home as his father had died from a heart attack whilst he was commencing a series of experiments.

    Shortly after the funeral of his father, he found out that their return to their home was not to pay his respect to the man whom he felt no attachment to but was also to have one of them to partake in a family magic tradition also known as the Blood Sacrifice ceremony which involves the sacrifice of a virgin teenage girl by a member of the head family of the Sokolov branch with the entire head family being present.

    The ceremony occurs each time the head of the family dies, the previous one to have occurred was a few months prior to Konstantin's 3rd birthday, which was performed after the death of his grandfather. After witnessing the barbaric act which Robert performed, he and his brothers tried to flee from his family by going into the forbidden, sacred forests that surrounded his hometown.

    Unadulterated History:
    Early to Mid-X785:
    After the marriage between Kon and Adelaide, their newly formed family took an extended vacation towards the border of Bosco and Fiore learning his family's cultural heritage in a safer environment.

    With the toppling of the Royalty and subsequent replacement in Monarchy favouring a more inclusive and tolerant regime issue between the different classes became a noticeable part in day to day living with nobility looking to gain more power while the lower class sought their own. The church meanwhile consolidated their own strength which included the golden couple of Adelaide and Konstantin with them now operating as inquisitors against the spread of zealots who sought the downfall of the church and Illumin itself.

    During this period, Konstantin began to distance himself from his friends, in particular, his best friend and best man for his wedding knowing that their relationship would be damaged as a result. Instead, Konstantin focussed on more outlying areas of Fiore hoping to slow the spread of paganism. Initially, their efforts were quite successful with entire regions being purged from those that did not believe in the will of Illumin, however as time progressed uprising grew in number and perhaps most importantly in strength.

    Eventually, a hotspot for cultist activity was identified which was then targeted by the Holy Knights with Konstantin and Adelaide also taking part in the cleanse. Unfortunately, the information on the hotspot was used as bait to lure numerous members leading to their deaths or their capture as was the case with Adelaide and Konstantin.

    Being captured was a light way to put what occurred to them however with the duo facing significant torment, torture and manipulation. In Konstantin’s case his memories were twisted and altered until he was almost putty at the hands of the Midnight Cult while his magic was purged and his gear was acquired by the Holy Knights from him prior to his capture. They were held by the cultists seemingly for months with the order assuming that everyone had been killed.

    Their rescue was only made possible with the second attempt at purging the cultist hotspot using both stronger and more knights. It was said that he was found chained to a wall beaten to the inch of his life while a magic circle of unknown sources lingered below him. Former comrades whom he had spent numerous days fighting side by side had since been forgotten even his wife after reconnecting with her since the months of torture and separation had been an uneventful reunion. Few memories did, in fact, stay central to his mind primarily that of his loyalty towards the Holy Knight Order, at least to those within the organization itself.  

    Early to Late-X786:

    After recovering Konstantin, he underwent significant treatment partially from the Holy Knights themselves and a handful of other individuals such as family whom the Knights had selected. His treatment allowed him to regain his sense of reality as well as ensure that he remained loyal to the Holy Knights in spite of the months of torture that might have swayed him otherwise. During this time Kon also invested significant resources in relearning how to cast magic having learnt he was formerly a summoner of great constructs.

    With a new mindset preferring the idea of direct conflict he invested his magical studies in the branches of Offensive and Supplementary spells while acquiring equipment to bolster his close-combat capabilities. After months of treatment, recovery and self-discovery he was signed off by his superiors to continue helping in the Crusades having been given new missions.

    During this period an old friend whom Konstantin had since forgotten returned in the worst possible light. Resulting in a devastation incident destroying the manor and killing his friend albeit temporarily.
