Details

Description: A staff in the likeness of a dragon's maw, one of the most prestigious creatures to hunt and conquer. This weapon would also serve to boast that proficiency. Its base is created with the remains of the greatest beast that a monster hunter could provide after reaching the mastery to qualify for this honor. The more prominent the trophy, the more powerful the given staff would be. Fitted into the jaw that serves as the head of the staff is a lacrima soaked and charged by the blood of many fallen beasts and inhuman creatures. This serves to embolden the staff to its purpose, as the ultimate weapon to carry in the hunt.

Its head is carved from the bones of the fallen with a red lacrima crystal embedded that glows an ominous crimson that bleeds down to the base. The shaft of the staff is wrapped
with tightly bound leather to fit comfortably in the user's hand. Of course in this line of work, many weapons are needed for the job. As such, this staff will shift forms to better suit their user for combat at the moment. Despite the changes, the staff will always retain the color scheme, visible red glowing lacrima, and monstrous theme. Depending on the materials brought by the mercenary and their personality would dictate the particular forms of the weapon held.

Effects

Shaping to the Wielder: This allows the Staff for Hired to become a weapon that the user has mastered. If someone has a mastery of a weapon, they can change it to that specific weapon. (If someone has Mastery of any level of Gauntlet, this staff can turn into a Gauntlet). Guns and bows will have their shots as normal. If one uses Staff only, they can change it to any weapon they want. Once they do that, it stays that weapon for the remainder of the topic. The user can claim either Staff Mastery when using this. If someone has some mastery of a weapon type that they can use, they can use this to claim as well.
Attune to the Wielder: This allows the Staff for Hired to go from Arcane to any element the user uses. If the user uses a dual or triple element, then it will take them as a combination. Adventures can choose 1 element that they want to have at the beginning of the topic for the remainder of that topic.
A Hunter’s World: The weapons bread and butter. This allows the user to have an edge on the task at hand. This gives the user the ability to give a minor weakness to people with Bounties, or Contracts, and any Non-Human (Does not include Demi-God) on the target themselves and their equipment when wielding this weapon.
