Details


Description: During the countless experiments within the void as part of the Talaz Lagaarian expeditions, numerous radiological, explosive, and electrical tests were performed largely by one individual, Dr. Onaga Kei whose endeavors into pushing the boundaries lead to his disfigurement and later amputation of his left arm that was later preserved for scientific studies. Through continued observation and supplementing the crystalline growths that were forming on the mutated arm, the organic limb soon became made entirely of magical crystals. Bold pioneers who had fought in a bloody war transplanted the arm into a crippled brethren hoping it could serve as a suitable replacement even possessing magical abilities to warp and change as they needed. However, the corrupting influence was too much for them as the surrounding tissue slowly began to be replaced with crystals just as it had with Onaga Kei.

Requirements:
  • The user must have acquired this through the Unknown Sacrifice Event and can not purchase this through Lupin.


Drawbacks


  • Non-descript Glow: Due to the nature of the void, the crystals that are slowly taking over the host's body emit an unmistakable hue that penetrates even the strongest of invisibility spells causing them to act as though they were one rank lower than normal and preventing full invisibility entirely.
  • Crystal Growths: Over time the user's body will slowly become crystal-like, depending on the race of the person, this may take years, decades, or even centuries to occur, however, will hasten with increased use.

Effect


  • Bone to Crystal: Limbs of the user slowly naturally regenerate up to 1x S-Rank per turn as the damaged flesh is replaced with crystals however these crystals can not be healed through traditional healing spells, to avoid this the user must heal any limb-based damage before the Bone to Crystal effect begins.
  • Crystal Repair: The crystals within the users will slowly repair the user's equipment up to 1x S-Rank per turn. Each additional piece of equipment that needs to be repaired in the same post will split the repair amount and reduce the amount repaired by one rank for each piece. This effect is passive and will occur automatically once the damage has been received.
  • Void Aligned: The user receives a minor resistance against void-based content, the user's equipment will also possess this effect once they have been impacted by the Crystal Repair effect or by being accessed through the Void Shift spell.
  • Durable Constructions: The crystalline structure of the user's body causes the durability of the user's magical and item spells to be increased by one rank, except for defensive spells which receive a flat rank increase to their durability.

    Range: 25 meters
    Cooldown: 1 post
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user may create up to eight Void Fragments from one of their arms. These can be manipulated freely to block, stab, etc., within the given range without any motions. Each object must be at most 1m2 and deal B-rank damage, have 1x B-rank durability, and travel at spell speed. Void Fragments can be re-cast only if all the manipulated objects are destroyed or if the user deliberately cancels the spell. Whilst this spell is active the user can not use the selected arm to cast or attack with weapons. Upon the spell ending the user's arm will be restored to its original shape.

  • Name: Void Shift
    Rank: S
    Mana Cost: 25 per Item equipped
    Requirements: Crystal Implant
    Type: Offensive
    Element: Arcane
    Range: Topic Wide
    Cooldown: None
    Duration: Instant
    Effect: The user may access the void to immediately wield their equipment, doing so will cause the Void aligned effect to apply everything accessed through this spell. The user may also return the equipment into the void at any point allowing them to recover any lost, stolen, or dropped equipment automatically.

  • Name: Call of the Void
    Rank: S
    Mana Cost: 10% of the user's total mana pool
    Requirements: Crystal Implant
    Type: Offensive
    Element: Arcane
    Range: Self
    Cooldown: Once per topic
    Duration: Sustain
    Effect: The user welcomes the void into themselves gaining a portion of its abilities while also increasing the rate of the crystal growth within their body causing their magic spells to be cast as though they were combo-elemental with the user's existing element and arcane to deal the full amount of damage instead of one rank lower individually. This will change into nullification mitigation if the user already possesses an equivalent modifier.
