Castle Alvalen

In the Silver District, Castle Alvalen stands strong within its own walls and houses the Alvalen family. The Alvalen came into power when they secured most of the mines before the city even existed. With ores and minerals being the most important export of Myras, the Alvalen practically funded the construction of the city along with a few others. The castle is large and houses not only Lord Liones and his family, but also their several thousand guards and servants.

Silver District

The most affluent of the districts, the Silver Distrct contains the city's upper class population, as well as military and government officials. The most important citizens of the city reside here. It is hard to imagine any criminal activity taking place here publicly, because it has the most amount of guards roaming around to protect the Silver District. Castle Alvaren is located in the center of the Silver District, within its own walls. The buildings of the Silver District are generally huge walled compounds.

Middle District

The Middle District of Myras contains the city's middle-class populace. There are a vast assortment of shops and restaurants. In here, many of the famous Merchant Companies have their bases as well such as the Boulder Brothers and Silk Sisters. It is generally wealthier and has a more peaceful atmosphere than the Lower District, mainly because there are a lot more guards roaming around here.

Lower District

The Lower District is home to the poor classes of the society and the majority of its population. In time, these consisted of newcomers to the city, including its multitude of refugees. Most of the Lower District residents work with their hands as artisans, laborers, and craftsman, while the rest are merchants and food vendors. Due to the impoverished state of the citizens of the Lower District, as well as the influx of refugees, the crime rate is significantly higher.

Goat's Beard Inn

Located in the Lower District, this hidden jewel may never rise above its "B" rating to attract the Middle District, but it is considered a charming, reasonably priced place with a real bistro atmosphere. The restaurant section of Goat's Beard Inn is incredibly popular with the locals. The most popular dishes served here are the meat dumplings, goat cheese, extremely sweet confections, and couscous.

Smuggler's Steps

Smuggler's Steps is a connection of secret roads in the Avvar Mountains outside Myras. It is frequently used as a passage for the expedient ingress and egress of illicit goods, which has resulted in the passage's moniker. The routes can't be found easily by others, nor would it be advised to use them for there are many bandit dens scattered across these routes. Though, it is not the only danger in using the Smuggler's Steps to travel around. Chances are high that people get lost and meet their end before running into a bandit den.

Avvar Mountains

The Avvar Mountains are a towering range of mountains around Myras. The mountains are considered highly inhospitable, and yet they house some barbarian tribes. The heights of the Avvar Mountains are treeless masses of rock and year-round ice. They are frequently shrouded in cold mists and can generate snowstorms out of season, sometimes even at the height of summer. Whether wreathed in fog or easily discerned, the peaks constantly loom over travelers.
