Overall: Famed for her beauty and scarlet locks, Venus is an extremely attractive woman, ruby red hair fragrant with roses and berries perfume, falling in a cascade of waterfalls on her shapely shoulders. Her face is pale, small whereas her eyes are cold and sparkling with a remarkable chestnut penetrating gaze, in anger blazing with livid, red fire. Those very eyes also concealed wisdom and imperiousness. Venus had pronounced cheekbones, natural eyebrows trimmed by hand and emphasized with charcoal, long eyelashes and petite hands. Standing at 5’8”, Venus’ body is lithe and toned, and is threateningly beautiful, having incredibly thin and slender waist and legs – blessed with impressive curves and well-formed breasts.

Venus has many scars from her multiple surgeries she had in her past, though doesn’t remember any. Due to her love for finery, she is always dressed in exquisite clothing, perpetually following the fashion trend; wearing dresses and gowns to important occasions but, sticks to a more comfortable attire on normal days. Despite her always changing wardrobe, her ‘work’ attire – when she carries out an assassination or when she’s on a job – Venus is usually dressed in a complete black attire; black top and short pants, a cloak that comes down to her calves and thigh-high boots of matching colour.

☾ PERSONALITY



Personality:

Confident | The first thing people notice after meeting Venus is that she exudes confidence and charisma. This is an outward characteristic and almost a husk of her real self. She mostly puts on this show with authoritative figures that intimidate her or people whom she has to extract something for herself. Albeit, having trained for numerous years, she is undeniably confident in her own abilities but also concedes to her deficiencies.

Rebel | Venus is a rebel; she resists all expectations, outer and inner. She does what she wants to do in the way and when she wants to do it, acting from a source of freedom, choice, and self-expression. When she feels like she's correct, she's steadfast and completely resolves to not heeding anyone else's advice, even when she may be in the wrong but she loves defying expectations, proving others wrong. As a rebel, she gets a boost from a challenge - "You think I can't do it?" "Watch me." As such, there’re always two sides to every coin, and how you may never be sure which one is which. Therefore, Venus doesn’t appreciate being stuck into one set of traits, or forced to stay in a particular role or box. Rather, she tends to constantly shift perspectives, and may enjoy playing with morphing her identities every so often.

Determined | On many occasions, Venus can be seen to be a persistent, dedicated and dignified lady and she can easily be described as someone who is likely to not back away no matter how much others urge her. Being a type of woman who has a stubborn streak, she is prevented from giving up tasks easily and doesn’t like to admit defeat.

Passionate | Venus is passionate about many things, and especially so with the people she loves. She is also known to be a rather sensitive person, who feels their emotions intensely, though she may not always express them overtly. While she is often carefree and witty when she’s happy, Venus’ most immediate reaction when angry or sad is to channel her darker emotions into a barely-contained rage or killing calm. This gets her into trouble more often than not due to her tendency to making rash decisions.

Appealing | Reviled as a very alluring woman, not many can deny her magnetic personality and the aura of mystery, magic and sensuality that she wears around her like a cloak. Venus is not a woman who tolerates surface-level interactions easily, she prefers to give her attention to those willing to go in-depth with her.

Romantic | Sex is extremely important to Venus and sharing a sexual connection with their deeply-bonded lover is a necessity for them to feel completely fulfilled in life. Until she finds the person who matches her soul, Venus might keep her hands filled, adrift without a partner to frolic and share intimacy with. Dating and lackadaisical flirting for fun’s sake or just as something to pass the time is something that appeals to her however, once she commits, she tends to mate for life.

Whimsical | Observing the fabulous mind of hers at work is similar to watching the shifting, iridescent colours swirling upon the surface of a bubble floating on air – in other words, completely transfixing. Her formidable intellect is always in a state of flux, flowing from one subject to another, usually far faster than one could ever hope to keep up with.

Unpredictable | Venus is characterized by rapid and unpredictable changeableness of mood. Impossible to pigeon hole, Venus is a will-o-wisp, a changeling and a mix of intriguing personalities. One minute demure and dotting, the next ruthlessly sarcastic, Venus can turn from one with impeccable manners to wild and unpredictable, but no less fascinating. One day she can be singing and dancing and the next she’ll barely speak a full sentence. Best of all – Venus is never boring.

Likes:

  • Sex: Men or women – gender doesn’t matter as long as they please her. As someone who likes to bond with people, sharing a sexual connection is one of the necessities to make her feel fulfilled.
  • Books: Venus always has interesting things to say and the main reason is because she is highly intelligent. Having an inquisitive nature, she loves to learn and will often find her with a book in her hands.
  • Fashion: Despite being known as an assassin, she is meticulous in managing her appearance and has a fixation on finery and strongly insists on wearing fashionable clothing.


Dislikes:

  • Rules: As a woman ruled by freedom and of her own wandering spirit, Venus doesn’t enjoy being tied down by rules or being oppressed by authority. Venus appreciates her freedom and space, so she needs room to be herself and express her individuality.
  • Repetition: With an increasingly fickle mind, Venus is known to be very impulsive and can change her mind in a heartbeat. Easily bored with repetition, Venus needs constant change, movement and communication to feel challenged and entertained.


Motivations:

  • Perfection: Striving for perfection, Venus wishes her abilities to become flawlessly perfect and therefore, always find the need to hone her skills further.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge is the source of everything. Exceedingly witty and intelligent, Venus is always seeking out, searching for wisdom whether it is from any place, underworld or above, and having information has always been her expertise.
  • Fun: Venus has lived long enough to survive many hardships, despite how she doesn’t remember any. Thus, Venus would love to spend her life experimenting, changing things to spice up her life in many different ways; travel, getting drunk till dawn, meeting new people all the time and the list goes on.


Fears:

  • Death: Where is she going to end up after she dies? Hell or heaven? The thought of not knowing where she is going to end up, who she might be in the next life – animal or person – scares her to no end.
  • Failing Her Assignment: Highly ambitious and heroic in their endurance, Venus aims high and then to ensure they get what they want, they steadily, patiently and relentlessly persevere, but when she failed a task she was put up to, it dreads her to know that all of her efforts were wasted and to have failed something, it meant that she was incapable – that is the same as death.

Description: The hilt of the axe reaches 1.5 meters in length, and was crafted using a rare, magical ore that allows it to never rust and always maintain its robust appearance. The two, symmetrical axe blades extend from the hilt for 20 centimeters, and are each 50 centimeters long, and always extremely sharp. The base of the hilt is improved for easier grip, with ridges allowing the user to hold onto their weapon even when drenched in the blood of their foes.

Lore: Long ago, as a nation of scholars, Midi was almost entirely reliant on mages. They quickly realized that a counter-measure had to be made for when someone went rogue among them. Stealing research and fleeing could be detrimental to the nation, therefore the Midian Circle founded the Seven Stalkers. Among those that couldn't use utilize any magic, Midi selected seven of the greatest Adventurers that they could produce from within their own nation.

The Midian Circle believed that even a loyal mage from Midi tasked to hunt a rogue mage from their nation could be tempted to go rogue themselves by the stolen research they would find. Thus, they decided to select those that weren't capable of using any magic in the first place. The research would have no personal value to the Seven Stalkers except for the money they would gain for returning it to the Midian Circle.

Using the information that they had accumulated about the weapons once used by the Nine Heroes, the Midian Circle tasked the best blacksmiths of that time to use their blueprints and forge similar weapons. Once finished, they spent a lot of time making the weapons durable and potent against mages. They then bestowed the finished products to the Seven Stalkers to carry out their mage-hunting duties more effectively.

Eventually, the Seven Stalkers became too successful at what they were doing. They hunted down mages with such ease that it started to worry the Midian Circle. Scared that they would turn against Midi at some point, the Midian Circle disbanded the Seven Stalkers and requested them to return their weapons. Feeling betrayed, the Seven Stalkers refused and left Midi to take jobs from clients all across Earthland to hunt down mages instead.

  • Seven Stalker's Resilience: The weapon has a Minor Magical Resistance.
  • Seven Stalker's Spellstopper: The weapon can disintegrate spells upon hitting them. The wielder must pay the same amount of mana as the spell they are hitting to disintegrate it.

This spell, however, has a drawback that makes the user incapable of attacking in the same post after they regroup into themselves again. The spell may be used last moment when dealing with a physical attack e.g. being punched or stabbed. This is due to the straining effect of utilizing the Blood Mist form.

  • Power Sense: When looking at a target, the user can see the amount of mana they possess and their exact distribution of attribute points. They cannot mention the number to others since it would make no sense to them, but the user can make perfect sense of the value they see.
  • Telepathic Bond: Blair and her owner have a telepathic bond that allows them to communicate and share information even while deafened. Knowledge from Power Sense is also shared allowing the owner to see what Blair sees and vice versa.

Their first encounter was during a blind date and Venus was instantly drawn to the man for his intriguing personality and his boundless ideas for surprises. The two started as a fling and as they spent more time with each other, she was captivated by his charms and found herself falling in love with him.

Saved by the vampire as soon as she lost her memories, Venus owes her life to the Mistress. Her name, Venus Rosé, was given to her by the matriach of Daeva Eye, herself and therefore, in gratitude of the act, Venus worked for her but she has now departed from her wing.

ODIN

Though the story between the lich and the huntress is yet to be untold, Venus is grateful to Odin for taking her in as a member of his guild. Venus considers him as her lord and her only master and thus, rewards him with her undivided loyalty.

CHRISTIAN ZANE

Like two peas in a pod or dumb and dumber, Venus and Zane are quite the opposites but surprisingly get along very well with each other. Zane had saved her from the consequences of her bounty away from the clutches of the Rune Knights on their first encounter and since then, the two remained close friends.

Emperor Aura: The user receives the Emperor aura which increases the amount of experience earned per quest by 20%.

QUESTS

Guild Perks:

  • 1 - Through Strength, Power: By tapping their guild mark, the user makes it disappear which hides their identity by nullifying the descriptive effects of reputation. Users with a bounty instead have the effects of their reputation reduced by two levels.
  • 2 - Untapped Potential: The user receives an additional 10% experience from completing Bad and Neutral Quests.
  • 3 - Through Power, Victory: By completing a quest of the member's rank or above, once per week that member can also gain +25MP. This resets each Monday.
  • 4 - Shady Dealings: The user receives an additional 20% jewels from completing Bad and Neutral Quests.
  • 5 - Through Victory, Supremacy: The user gains double the monthly conquest reward.


Conquest Rewards:

  • Controlling such a city allows you to purchase Helmets and Armors with a 20% discount.
  • Controlling such a city allows you to purchase Accessories (excluding Earrings) and Magics with a 20% discount.
  • Controlling such a city allows you to purchase Weapons with a 20% discount.

Disaster:

  • The information known about the user is equivalent to having 10,000+ reputation.
  • The user is constantly in Orange mode.
  • Upon entering a city, it is considered IC knowledge that the user has entered the town due to it being announced by the guards everywhere. This allows everyone in the same city to invade any topic of the user while they roleplay in cities.
  • 30% of the user's fame is converted to infamy upon reaching this level for a bounty holder.
  • 30% of the user's infamy is converted to fame upon reaching this level for a contract holder.
  • Users receive 15% more jewels and experience when fighting off prospective Bounty/Contract Hunters. This modifier does not carry over to traditional fights.

Description: Shinkuu is a powerful close range magic that ignores a targets armor entirely as well as its modifiers and attacks them directly.

Advantages:

  • The user's offensive spells now pierce through the targets armor and damages them directly. (Does not impact defensive spells.)
  • The user's offensive spells are one rank higher.

Requirements:

  • The user must possess a Lightning-type magic.
  • The user must be of a class capable of performing at least normal Offensive-type spells.

Effect: The user snaps her fingers and an electric field expands from her body. With the user being the epicenter, the spell detects pulses and vibrations that disrupt the field and retracts back to the user after collecting the data to her command, informing her of the coordinates of those she seeks to find. The electric field is visible to the naked eye and expands like a ring, however, does no damage to anyone within the area.

The spell generates a massive electricity charge around her that is harmless to herself and those who are close to it while she manipulates the lightning force to lift herself up to 10-meters above in the air. Regardless of the orientation of the user in the air, she can float herself above ground as long as the user is in control of the forces of lightning around herself.

The weapon has the appearance of any average dagger, however, they are imbued with magic that when thrown at an opponent (travels at spell speed), the daggers can be activated to detonate dealing 1x S-Rank damage within 8-meter diameter at command. The user can summon up to a maximum of 2 daggers and if both daggers are used, the damage will each deal 1 A-Rank damage respectively.

This summons a lightning barrier on all sides around her enemy within a range of 25 meters and when the user clenches her fist, the barriers presses onto the body of her foe before releasing a pulse of magic to deal 2x S-Rank damage in 16-meter diameter. The user is also capable of casting the spell on herself and explodes outwards, knocking her enemies back up to a total of 3-meters away from her. With the knockback, the AoE damage is reduced to 13-meter diameter. When casting with her being the epicenter, the lightning barriers leaves an area of space around her body so as to prevent herself from receiving damage.

The barrier moves together with the user and can withstand up to 2x S-Rank damage before it is destroyed.

The lightning beam detonates upon contact with an enemy or reaching its maximum distance, dealing 2x S-Rank damage to the enemy over the range of 16-meter diameter. If the spell does not come into contact with any object or a target, the user can choose the distance on when to detonate the spell.

☾ VAMPYRISM


Vampires are created through turning; during the turn, a Vampire drains a candidate of all their blood and replaces it with a small amount (generally a single drop) of their own. This causes the corpse to rise as a very hungry Vampire. This is usually instantly though those of the highest generations may appear to lie dead for some time before they awaken. The Vampire who initiates the turning is the sire; the new Vampire is the sire's childe.

When a Vampire is turned, most of their internal organs wither away, and almost all their body fluids are replaced by blood. Vampires use blood for a variety of purposes; blood replaces most bodily fluids, so Vampires will cry blood. Blood is also used to get up and move; every night, Vampires expend a certain amount of blood to rise. In addition, Vampires can use blood to enhance their physical attributes and use supernatural powers. Blood is used to turn, as noted above. Finally, Vampires can use blood to heal damage.

Blood is generally replaced by sucking it out of humans. While Vampires can feed on other creatures, they do not enjoy the taste of animal blood and older Vampires will acquire no sustenance from it (whilst the blood of the supernatural creatures are an entirely different matter). The process of taking blood is euphemistically called feeding. Vampires do not have to completely drain a victim, although Vampires in a frenzy are likely to do so. The feeding process is highly pleasurable (arguably the only pleasure) for Vampires, and is also extremely pleasurable for victims. Vessels who are drained regularly can become addicted to feeding.

Vampires change considerably after being turned. Physically, they are incapable of eating food and drinking, with most vomiting it up almost instantly, and even those that can keep it down for a while will still have to regurgitate the food later. They have no need for sex as the need to feed replaces all physical and emotional urges, although they can have intercourse for pleasure if needed and will even feel pleasure from it, though all such pleasures pale in comparison to the ecstasy of feeding.

It must be noted that users can not turn other users unless the one they wish to turn has purchased Vampirism in the shop. In case there is no one around to turn them, they may roleplay the scenario themselves.

Reputation:

  • Elemental Resistance: Vampires receive Minor Resistance to Darkness.

  • Vampiric Drain: Vampires automatically heal two ranks lower of the Physical Damage and Magical Damage that they inflict to another user. This affects the healing in their weakest limb through Endurance and an overall heal through Constitution.

  • Elemental Weakness: Vampires receive Minor Weakness to Light.

  • Soundless: Vampires make absolutely no sound when moving. They are Full-Soundless.

  • Vampiric Vision: Vampires can see through invisibility and disguise spells. They can also sense anyone who is bleeding within a 25 meter range. This does not allow them to see through walls but detect that there is someone present within 25 meters that is bleeding.

  • Night Vision: Vampires are able to see in the dark as though it is day. This also allows them see through magical darkness.

Therefore it cannot be cancelled by artifacts or magics that can cancel spells.
