Yuurei and Renji had left Talaz Lagaar; they thought they weren’t going to come back and help those here. They had done all that they could, and it felt like it was not enough. Still, the beautiful day had brought them back to the island. The Seraphim couldn’t help it, his need to help those who needed it brought him here. He couldn’t believe he was risking himself and Renji, but here he was. He didn’t want what was happening to Revy to happen to his friend.

It was selfish for him to think this, but it was true. His objective today was simple. He was going to help and treat those who needed his help. The duo were making their way to the hospital; Yuurei’s pace was as normal as possible but quicker than most people.

Renji wasn’t sure why they were there as it only brought back memories of the last time he saw Revy.

Yuurei

The hunter kept moving and soon enough they would find their destination. They would be in front of the hospital and entering it, they would see that the nurses there were working hard. Yuurei would wave at them to get their attention, but he wouldn’t be able to get it.

They were busy as if something had happened. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he would step forward. when he did he would get a nurse’s attention. She would stop moving to look at who it was, and it was then she would notice it was the man with the cat. She would smile at them and she was glad that he was here.

“Oh you’re here. This is great; we need extra hands today. I need you to go to that room there, and take care of the people there. We can’t help you today, so you will be on your own. We are busy elsewhere.” She said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this and he would nod as he would bow slightly. He understood that something was going on. And since she didn’t tell him about it, then he knew it was important for them to know and not him. He did remember where she had pointed, and he would make his way to the room. He would enter the place, and he would see that there were a lot of people on beds, but they were all up. It would seem like they were waiting to be taken care of.

He would hear them coughing and they would look like they were in pain. He would rub the back of his head as he felt bad for them.

“You take care of them. I will clean up.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this and he would agree to it. He didn’t mind handling everybody here today. It wouldn’t be a problem for him, he thought.

Yuurei would start with the patients by the door. They were coughing and were waiting to be taken care of. He would approach them and he would smile at them.

“I’m going to be taking care of you. I’ll check your blood pressure and a few other things. After that, I will give you some stuff and put you in a treatment that will help calm you down and ease your pain.” He explained to the man.

The patient would hear this and he would nod. He was fine with this. Yuurei was happy that it wouldn’t be a problem and that he would start taking care of the first patient guy here. He would check to see if everything was okay. He would write things down, so the nurses knew what was the patient’s condition. Once he was done with that he would hand over the drugs for the patient to take.

He watched the patient take the drugs, and he would nod as he was ready for the next thing. That was good and he would help him get comfortable. Once he was ready, Yuurei would move to get the IVs for the man. He had learned how to do this because of the nurses here. They had been kind enough to show him the basics. They couldn’t be here for everything and that was good enough.

Yuurei would prep things and once he put the man on the IV, he would see that things started to come down. People would see this, and it would put them at ease with Yuurei. They saw that he knew what he was doing, and with that, they would relax. He would put the covers on the person so that he was warm and comfortable and he would look to see who was the next patient he was going to take care of.

Renji was working hard; he had found the cleaning products and made sure that the chemicals wouldn’t harm the people there. They were looking at him as they found it rare to see a cat moving on two legs. They were advanced in technology, but they didn’t see those running around this island much. They were curious as to what he was doing. The Exceed would run around as he was cleaning the dirty areas in this place. He couldn’t believe that they didn’t have anybody to take care of this. Still, here he was, but at least he knew that Yuurei was getting paid.

They hadn’t gone on a job in quite some time, so it was nice to be back working. He figured Yuurei needed jewels for their future endeavors. He was moving around all the sick people, and he was glad that he wore a mask. He did his best to avoid them, but they were all over the place.

Renji kept cleaning the shelves that needed it. He was wiping everything down before he tackled the floor itself. He knew bringing all the dirt to the ground was the smart thing to do. Yuurei would look over to his companion was going to work, and he was done with the second and third patients in the room. He would put their charts next to their area. He didn’t have it, so anybody could see, but he wanted to make sure the nurses knew where to find them. The hunter would move on to the next area as he approach the next patient. He would smile at them and he would handle them with care.

This patient was a child and they were crying a lot. When they saw Yuurei, they would calm down as they were hoping he would be able to cure him. The Seraphim wished, that he could, but knew that he couldn’t do anything like that. Still, the best thing he could do was take care of him.

Yuurei would take the necessary step to make sure that the child was taken care of. He had made sure he had done everything at a slower pace. He wanted to give the kid comfort and make sure that he had trusted him. He kept treating the kid until he was ready to rest on the bed presented to him. Once that had happened, Yuurei would give him his IV and he would cover him with the blanket. He would put the chart down and he would move on to the next set of patients.

The Seraphim was taking care of them without a problem and each of them would trust him as they saw how he was with everyone that was taken care of before them. This would make his job easier and he was going through this rather smoothly. Renji was glad Yuurei was taking care of things because it made his job easier with every patient laying down.

Renji would finish the shelves and he would start tackling the ground. He would be able to go after everything that a lot of people would miss. He would start working quickly and hard as the people around the room had been able to lay on their own beds. Yuurei had a few people to take care of, but for the most, they had all been taken care of. He would move around as he could see that there was a lot of dirt everywhere. The duo didn’t speak to each other as they knew what they had to do. Yuurei would continue to take care of the patients as he was making sure that he had gotten to all of them.

He was wondering what the nurses were doing right now. They all looked like something bad had happened, and that they were trying to address it before it got out of hand. The Seraphim wondered if he would be able to help them after he was done here.

Yuurei kept working and soon he would have gotten to all the patients. They were all resting well and he could see that none of them were going through any discomfort. That was good and he would check around just to make sure, and while he was doing that, Renji was finishing his work. The Exceed had finished cleaning the room and when he was done he would approach Yuurei. The two of them would nod as they had done what was necessary here today. They would look one more time to make sure and they would leave the room.

When they left the room, they would see a nurse moving around and they would approach her. They would explain what they had done, and she would thank them for their hard work. She would pay them for their services. Yuurei would humbly accept it and he would leave the hospital with Renji by his side.
