Kaito

Kaito just watched as this thing did what ever it had done and he was kind of glad that he had not had a big lunch or he might have tossed it up at seeing what had happened there as Yuureis arm had seemed to have just dropped off like a lump of dead meat and Kaito had to admit that was just a messed up sight to see as this had become horror level. Kaito readied himself for what might be coming his way if this thing went for Yuurei first it might mean that it wants a pound of flesh from him as well and if he can he may want to send a warning to brone as if this thing is going after the strongest champions it was going to be after him as well.

Kaito looked at the arm as he thought he had seen it twitch or move but that couldn’t be right? Kaito was very uneasy right now as this was not going to be a normal thing Kaito could just tell.

Yuurei


Yuurei’s arm was moving around as if it were still alive. The curse on it was trying to keep the arm alive. The bandages were moving around and coming off the bandage, but for some reason, his arm was moving into a weird location. His eyes widen as he couldn’t believe this was happening. He would squeeze his arm as he was trying his best to stop the bleeding.

“You are an abomination to your kind. The next thing I will take from you is that cursed eye of yours. Uriel should have let you die.” He said as he would push forward to Yuurei.

The Seraphim would see this and he would lunge away. He rolled on the floor a bit as he was holding his arm in agony. The throbbing pain he felt was so much, but he knew he could handle it. While this was happening, a weird-looking centipede would come falling from the sky. When it landed on the ground, the scent of blood made it move as it was heading to Yuurei right now.

Kaito

Kaito not going to stand by as his friend was killed drew his sword and he teleported getting in front of the monster that had appeared in front of them, even if Kaito knew he wasn’t going to beat it, he knew he could buy time for yuurei to recover enough to maybe stand up to them but Kaito knew that one thing he was very good at was being annoying and being able to slow people down which was probably a good thing here as there was not much else he could do.

Kaito stood ready for this eldritch horror to clash with him and for himself to stand his ground vs it till yuurei thought of a plan or Kaito would do a last ditch thing and throw himself and this thing to some where for Kaito to die away from Yuurei and other innocent eyes that hadn’t needed to see what might come of himself when this thing lost its temper and tore him apart like he was nothing more than a stuffed animal.

Yuurei


Yuurei was struggling to get his composure right now. His arm had been taken off, and he didn’t even understand how. He looked over to the Watcher as it was approaching him with amazing speed. He would see this and he would shake his head as he was getting ready to summon his shield. Still, before he could let go of his hand, he would see Kaito had arrived in front of him. He looked at his friend and Yuurei was angry that he allowed this to happen. That was when the parasite made its way to the group and lunged right into the opening of Yuurei’s arm.

The Seraphim would feel things crawling into his missing arm and open wound and he felt more pain than he had felt before. He felt something crawling inside of him, but he didn’t know what it was trying to head to.

“Wyrd wrap around my arm as tight as you can.” He said to his cape as it would wrap itself around Yuurei’s stubbed arm as hard as it could.

Yuurei would feel the pain and he was wondering what had gotten into his arm. Everything was going to shit right now, and he hoped that Kaito wouldn’t get hurt because of him.

Kaito

Kaito at this point being use to needing to get over being scared in the face of these kinds of things keeps what ever this thing was at bay with his sword and he slams his own shield into it if it felt like it was gaining any kind of ground on him as he wasn't going to let this thing get to Yuurei without going through him first and this sword and shield make that a huge task as well as the fact Kaito's skin was like steel so even if this thing some how sneaks an attack around his guard there was no way Kaito was going to get maimed by it. Kaito block and parries the attacks that come at him as he was not going to let Yuurei down and he was going to face this thing like a man and not give this thing an inch even though it keeps going on about how how he dare get in the path of it and what ever it was after waiting to hear Yuurei say something like a plan or that he was ready to strike himself as Kaito is unsure what this thing is or even where hitting it would actually do something to it.

Yuurei


Yuurei continued shouting in pain as he could feel the blood coming out of his arm. Renji was stunned and shocked by what was going on. He couldn’t believe that this had happened to Yuurei, so it wasn’t something he could react to. The Seraphim also felt something stinging, and it was trying its best to burrow through where his cape had tightened.

“AHHHHHH GET OUT! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!” He shouted as he was looking at his arm.

Yuurei had gotten up from the ground as he was shaking right now. Renji would get off Yuurei and he would stand in front of him to protect him. Kaito had taken the angelic creature away from Yuurei, but it was looking for its way back to him.

“Kaito, we do not wish to harm a human or demi-god, so please stand out of the way. We’re only here for Yuurei.” He said to Kaito as he was hoping he would move or he would force him to Yuurei.

It was then his armless stub would start to shake violently again as something was happening.

Kaito

"I am so much more than that, I am not a mere human or demigod I am a cursed mess of genes and I am going to stop you here!" His necklace glowed and changed into a different necklace with odd symbols on it showing that it is something that is more akin to a dark magic side of the item scales. He looks the creature in the face not one sign of the fear of death on his face as he once again knocked the creature back with his shield as he isn't scared to die he knows those around him will begin to die and age away in front of him that upon him taking this item he had sealed his fate to not have a very heroic death but more of one of the void in the end finally consuming him as if he was a Harbinger of the void or the end.

Kaito didn't back down no matter how hard the thing struggled or tried to lose him he would move and get in front of it before it could gain ground on Yuurei, Kaito know his place as a pawn so his sacrifice in the end here will not be in vein.

Yuurei

Yuurei was going through it right now. Something was trying their best to force their way through his arm and somewhere else. The cape could feel it as well but would make to tighten the hold even more. It was his order and the Seraphim was just screaming his lungs out as this was torture. Whatever was in him was trying to make it somewhere and it was like a drill was being used on his open wound. It wouldn’t take long, even if it felt that way to him, but it would stop.

He would breathe heavily as he was hoping that type of pain would stop. It had even numbed his current situation right now. Renji was hoping he would be alright but knew this was far from over. He had lost his arm. It was then his right arm would start shaking and something else was happening. His arm started to regrow itself as if he had super healing or something. The Exceed was just as confused as him.

The watcher in front of Kaito would shake his head and he would just surpass him in speed and get to Yuurei that way. He would take a step forward and disappear from Kaito’s sight and toward the abomination he was after.

Kaito

Kaito could have caught up but it had seemed that what ever was going on with Yuurei had finally finished which means that Kaito had done what he said he would do and he had kept the thing busy and that was a good thing for Yuurei as Kaito felt weird but he kept an eye out for anything else that might come their way as this was now a Yuurei vs the monster and Kaito served the purpose of making sure that it stayed a Yuurei on the monster fight and no back up to help that creature and if it showed up it was going to fall to Kaito to deal with them and make sure that he didn't hold back when he took them on.

His necklace shakes around his neck and Kaito wondered if that was some kind of sign from it that this is about to get rougher for the pair here and that Kaito might need to be ready to die if it comes to it but Kaito wasn't going to go down easy and he powers up and he feels so much more power than he use to feel when he had transformed was this the power of the necklace the fruit or was there something else that was giving it's power to him in this moment. Kaito Readied himself for the trouble that he can feel is coming.



#35Yuurei

Yuurei

The suspicious being had looked back for a second to see if Kaito was following him. When he saw that he was in the clear, he would look forward to his destination. He could see the cat, and Yuurei there. Yuurei would be on his knees, and it would seem like he was going through some trauma from what had happened. He figured this would be quick then, and he would swing his talons straight at the man in front of him.

Migi, the new host in Yuurei’s body. Well, only his arm, because it was the furthest he could get to, had seen the attack coming. Migi would react to this and he would let out two appendages about two meters long and they would be blade-like as they would clash with the man’s attack. The damage Migi felt wasn’t as bad as he thought it would be, but the creature before him would feel pain and wounds opening up.

He would jump back confused about what was going on. He had taken Yuurei’s arm, but he had gotten a new one in just a matter of seconds. The watcher was starting to believe that he was lucky, but he had gone from one abomination to another.

Kaito

Kaito watches as the creature went at Yuurei and he sees that it went to strike at him, Kaito wonders if him letting the creature go there if he had made a mistake and Yuurei was about to be hurt by the creature then he saw Yuurei’s new arm spring to life and it seems to attack the other creature back away from Yuurei and Kaito wonders what in the unholy hell had happened to Yuurei here.

Kaito moves around so he can see the arm better at this time so he might be able to learn what it was or why it was, but upon doing so Kaito was just had more questions as it seemed that what ever it was had a mind of its own and Kaito now was unsure if he could look at yuurei again the same way after this as now Kaito has the willies about this creature and what more it might be able to do and if it could take Yuurei over on some grounds that were not so straight forward as they had seemed to start with and he would need to end up clashing with Yuurei at some point to stay safe.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at his arm as he was just as confused as everybody else. What was happening to his arm, why was it back, and why was it able to do that?

“What the hell is going on here?” Yuurei was freaked out about this.

“I have no idea, but it seems like something didn’t want you to lose your arm.” Renji said to Yuurei.

“I just saved your life. That thing wanted to kill you.” Migi would speak to Yuurei.

Yuurei and Renji would look at his right arm. They were confused, but even more concerned that it was able to speak.

“What are you doing in my body?” He asked as he was freaking out.

“Calm down, I didn’t get into your body. I only got as far as your little stub hand. From there I regenerated your arm back and took over it. Of course, you still got control whenever I allow it. Smart move on tying the cape around your arm, or else you wouldn’t have been you anymore.” He said to Yuurei.

The watcher was hearing this, and it would seem like a parasite was sharing Yuurei’s body. He would just shake his head as he started laughing. This man was more of a Demon than a Seraphim.

Kaito

Kaito just blinks as he is starting to think that he might have went mad there was no way he was seeing what he was seeing as that was way to far fetched there was a arm moving and being a monster what and how. He touched his necklace and he wondered if there was something like that inside of it was this thing just waiting to take a piece of his body away from him as well? Kaito was not sure right now just the markings and symbols he had seen when he had made what ever that other thing was that had made his necklace start to activate and now seemed to nearly be a piece of him.

Kaito starts to get closer to Yuurei to try and see if this thing was really that bad or if it was a more a decent part of this world. Kaito was still not sure if he should be ready to fight the thing that had attached itself to Yuurei and need to make sure that it doesn’t somehow contaminate him and make another of itself on him as that would not bode well if this thing started to multiply and spread it self out into this world.

Yuurei

Yuurei would sigh with relief hearing Migi explained that it was best he had done what he had done. The Seraphim would stand tall as he would look at the angelic being in front of him. He wouldn’t catch him off guard this time. He would transform into his full transformation and he would move his left arm around to bring out his armor. His left hand had Excalibur, but it was invisible.

“So, what do I call you?” He asked.

“Call me Migi. And cool transformation.” He said to Yuurei.

“Okay, Migi, I’m going to need you to place those extra appendages elsewhere.” He said to him.

Migi would hear him and he would make the two appendages come out of his shoulder. Yuurei would summon Jeweled Sword Zelretch and he would swing it toward his enemy. The watcher would see the attack coming and he would dodge it.

The Seraphim would make his move as he would get closer to the watcher as he was going to hit him with a few surprises of his own now.

Kaito moves himself back so that he isn’t caught in the cross fire and he wonders if this thing is going to be showing a new form while it fights with Yuurei and now Kaito is confused to if this thing is a good thing or a bad thing as this has so many different things going on that he is starting to have trouble keeping up with it all and this was going on here and he transforms as well to make sure that he was in a fighting shape as well in case something he needed to block or protect the area from trouble or damage and he doesn’t want anyone to get caught up in the damage if he can as there were still lives not to far from where they were so that meant that he needed to make sure they were not killed in the cross fire as well as himself as Yuurei and that thing seem to be on their own levels of power.

Yuurei

Yuurei would get closer to the Seraphim in front of him and when he got close enough it would happen. He would swing his left arm upward, which confused the Seraphim for a second. It was then he would feel a wound opening on his chest, and blood that shine would light come out.

“Of course, you obtained Excalibur. Your tools are interesting indeed Yuurei.” He said as he looked over to Kaito and then back at Yuurei.

He would move straight to Yuurei as he was flying the entire time. He would close the distance between them, and he would swing his hands at Yuurei. Migi had been healed by Avalon and he had used his appendages to attack the right talons coming his way. The hunter would swing Excalibur upward to block the attack that was coming to him as well.

When they clashed, Yuurei could see that this man’s wound had already closed, and he show no enjoyment of this fight. The arcane energy would also start to come out of Yuurei’s armor due to the sense of danger in front of him.

"Did that thing just look at me and call me a tool to you?" Kaito is Now slightly offended that, that thing had just seemed to have called him a tool to Yuurei and now he is wondering if Yuurei sees him as a tool to him and is only nice to him cause he is a good tool and powerful enough to be used but will be thrown to the side once is fails Yuurei or if he out grows his use to Yuurei. Kaito shakes his head to stop himself from thinking about it as that thing might just be trying to get into Kaito’s head and cause a rift between him and Yuurei that might fester later and turn them into bitter enemies that are at war as if they had never been friends or even close.

Kaito was not sure of what he was even doing here as he just seemed like he was an outcasts even if he walked among outcasts he was still not one that fit into the group.

Yuurei

The Watcher could see that his simple words had taken effect. It was simple words, but he had used them against a human. Still, they had been watching the Seraphim for a while, so they had also known about Kaito and Brone. He saw that the Seraphim’s armor was ready to launch an attack on him. He was close to Yuurei and it would seem like this would be something difficult to dodge. He would use a spell to avoid the attack, but Yuurei figured that would happen. He felt where he would move, and he would look in that direction.

He would shoot out a beam of arcane energy straight to the Monstrous Seraphim, and the thing would take on full hit. It would engulf the Seraphim and when things were cleared the Seraphim would start shaking a bit as the bottom half of the being was gone. Still, he would start to see that he was regenerating quickly, and he would shout from regrowing his limb.

“What the hell is that? I thought I was weird, but the thing won’t drop dead.” Migi said out loud.

Renji figured he would fuse with Yuurei as it would be something that they would need to make this thing leave them alone.

Kaito blinks as he sees that thing start to just rebuild itself and Kaito aimed his finger then teleported keeping his fingers pointed at the creature and Kaito released beams of powered up arcane energy and he aimed for more points to slow the healing and his spells burn on contact with the being lessening the creatures mana and maybe helping to slow the healing and recovering that the creature had been doing and he knows that this is just a small pest sized issue but he knew that he could count on his friend to help with the other part of that and finish what ever this thing was off as Kaito doesn't know what it is but can see the weak points that it has even if it was strong he can still wear it down and make it at least a bit more manageable for Yuurei to finish it off.

Kaito throws an area of effect spell to make good use of the extra moments and to hit it more and reduce it more.

Yuurei


Yuurei would see that it wasn’t dying, and before he could do anything, it would seem like Kaito was on the move. He watched him hit the Seraphim with multiple hits and it would grunt from the attacks. The watcher had looked over to Kaito as it would seem that he truly meant to become an obstacle.

It was then Yuurei figured he would do his best to make sure that this thing couldn’t get back up from this. Kaito had made several attacks, which seemed to have harmed the creature. Yuurei would pick up his left arm and he would swing straight down at the creature. He would shout out the name of his weapon and a beam of light would be sent straight to the being.

It couldn’t do anything about the situation and would take the hit. Yuurei would use his Jeweled Sword and he would thrust that straight to the monster as a beam of mana would shoot from it and head to the monster. It would see another attack coming, and it would be engulfed by it.

When the debris was cleared, Kaito and Yuurei would see nothing left of the creature, or it seemed.

Kaito

Kaito dropped back to the ground as his normal self and he wonders if there was more to this all or if this was it as if it was that was kind of a let down but he figured that there probably were not a lot of those kind of things as he was not yet a god but that thing seemed to eat his attacks but he was probably lucky that he hadn't used his light magic as that thing might have been able to eat it and use it as a way to gain mana or heal it's wounds but that was lucky for Kaito in the past  as nothing seemed to remain of it and Kaito looked to Yuurei. "Okay what was that thing and why did your arm talk those are the burning questions that I have in this moment." He rubbed the back of his head and his necklace seemed to jiggle a bit and Kaito moves as he has no idea why he had a bad feeling but he knew he had to move. A scythe hits into the ground where he stood and Kaito wonders what that was.

A hooded frame holding a knife came forward grabbing the scythe that Kaito had dodged and points it at Kaito there seemed to be nothing but darkness under the hood. "Your soul is fractured but you call to me let me collect what I want." Kaito wondered if this was a lich or some kind of other worldly creature and why was it after him? Kaito blocked the swing of the scythe with his blade and Kaito wonders if this was a apostle of death or maybe a different dimensions very own death Kaito didn't have time to ask these questions but it seemed that the scythe went through armor as Kaito had moved and swung his shield and the scythe had come through and hit his arm but lucky for Kaito his skin was stronger than his scythe and he was left without a mark.

"You are not collecting me and I am not going to just lay down for you!" Kaito dashed into it and he went through the body of it, meaning that this thing was more a ghost than anything meaning that hitting the body with his sword would probably do very little so he would have to relay on his magic to hit this think probably.

Yuurei



Yuurei would look at Kaito as he had asked his questions. The seraphim looked at his arm as Migi would turn the arm back to normal as it would seem like the threat around them had died down. The alienated arm would bite its tongue the moment it saw a scythe hit the ground. Someone was trying to kill his new host’s friend it seemed.

Yuurei would see this as he would change his Excalibur into his Giant Fork. He wasn’t sure what this thing was, but it was after Kaito.

“Well, we can’t catch a break now, can we? What to do, what to do.” The hunter said this as he would use this giant fork to regain his mana in any way he could.

He would keep his Jeweled Sword as it had its own mana source. Yuurei would disappear from where he was, and he would end up behind the mysterious figure. He would thrust his spear at the thing in front of him, but he would end up going through it.

When he did, the mysterious figure would attempt to cut Yuurei in half but would miss as he would lunge away from the thing.

Kaito

The ghastly monster laughed at their attempts to hit it, Kaito swung his sword and arcane energy fly forward and into it and the creature spun his scythe and tendrils of arcane energy that slashes and tied to cut him and Yuurei into pieces, Kaito stays light on his feet as he hopped and flipped to dodge these attacks as the bladed tendrils shot forward and spun at them. Kaito relaxes and he wonders what he had done to gain this kind of karma when really nothing he had done seemed to be worth this kind of thing then it happened the ground were the tendrils had hit left markings and they glowed and released fissures of dark magical energy and Kaito makes himself disappear then reappear a good distance away. That thing had planned ahead as it knew Kaito would get cocky by being able to dodge the attacks as well as his friend Yuurei though the creature knew that his darkness fissures would do little to such a person as Yuurei but he wanted Kaito's head and the only way to get his head was to get through Yuurei as well.

Yuurei

Yuurei would move away from the being in front of him, and he would see that he was moving closer to attack. He would lunge away again as he was trying to gather himself. It would seem like he wanted Kaito; this was the perfect opportunity to attack as they had just finished dealing with an original Seraphim. It would seem the attacks that had been missed had left things on the ground.

The hunter would sense the danger behind them, and when they shot up, he would spin around as he would use the magical properties of his Giant Fork to consume the magic that had come from the dark magic.

He would consume it and afterward, he would burp as he looked at the ghastly creature. He wasn’t sure what he could do, but he knew physical attacks didn’t connect. He would look at his Jeweled Sword and decide it was time to use it as much as he could. He would swing his staff and a magical slash of mana would make its way to the being. If he would dodge the attack, he could only hope Kaito would take advantage of this.

The monster turn toward Yuurei using the tendrils to block the damage of the staffs swing and sends slashing attacks back at the other mage and Kaito sends forth a barrage of beam attacks at it and he watched as the creature got hit and dropped to it’s feet on the ground again Kaito moved in and sent his area of effect spell at it and the spell hits the creature and it lets out a scream like a woman in pain was that a trick or had Kaito been mislead or seeing things and attacked an innocent woman the voice yells at Kaito calling him names and that he is a disappointment as a hero and that he was a mistake to be trusted and Kaito slashes the air releasing a arcane slash of energy that goes at the creature and as it is hit it screams in pain and drops and Kaito is confused if there was a trick here or not. Till he sees the things bones shaking violently.
