Kaito had received an invite to help get creatures adopted, show them off and to do things with them so he guessed that he was going to need to do his very best and when he arrived he was shown to three creatures that he was to help get adopted or to help them show off for the day at least as well as to take care of them, he walks out to a hug building that says the name Creature Adoption Center which was pretty straight forward.

The first creature assigned to Kaito was a flying monkey the creature had been abused in the past by it's owner who use to beat it with a broomstick for failing in what ever she had wanted it to do for her even if it had no chance of completing the task. It has jet black fur and wings, it liked wearing it's vest and a fez on it's head it seemed that it's favorite food is boonanas. It has a fear of women with green skin and black hair. It likes to monkey around and be free to fly as it wants, so it is a flight risk so needs kept on a lead.

The second creature placed under his care is a hydra with three heads which meant the person that killed it hadn't got wise till after he had cut off at least two of it's heads. It says that this one like live pray and it is fed mostly giant rats and other bigger vermin. The creatures eyes seem to be yellow in color and they seem to not attack people at the moment. He sees that it says that it likes to have it's black outer scales brushed but does not like it's inner grey scales along is under belly brushed and may get the handler bitten. It is scared of sharp objects and there are notes to only touch the creature if you are in view of it.

The third creature is a Mimic the notes on this one says to not place anything near it that the handler is not ready to lose and to not take their eyes off of it for long periods of times cause it will shift into something else and make a major issue to find it before it eats someone's pet and replaces it till it is found out or finds a different object that it rather be than the creature that it was mimicking at that time. Kaito knows that this is going to be the one that he is gonna have to not slack on watching, at the moment the mimic is in the form of a stool. To calm it if it does go wild you need to offer it some of the fake jewels that they had given him is the sack on his hip.

The three look at Kaito the Flying monkey looked at him with wonder, the hydra looked at him flicking it's tongue and the mimic stayed still as a stool should. Kaito listens to the people give him a very long winded speech about the care area that their is the feeding area the cleaning and bathing area and the adoption area and he wondered if he would really be needing that area today or not. He figures the flying monkey is cute and adoptable as long as you are not green and a woman. The hydra is gonna probably be a stiff sell and the mimic is probably not going to find anyone that wants to take it for any reason as it is just a treasure hoarder with sharp teeth waiting to you to put your hand in the wrong place.

Yuurei was also invited to take care of creatures and prepare them for getting adopted. He wasn’t sure how that was going to work, but here he was. The man was in the Creature Adoption Center, and it would seem like he wasn’t alone. His friend was here, and it would seem like he was taking care of creatures of his own. He would make his way to the person in charge of this place, and they would soon assign three creatures to him as well.

The first one was a weird-looking weasel. This one had a messed-up tail and a missing eye. Besides that, it looked adorable. It was brown and white, and it was smaller than usual around half the size of a weasel. His claws were tended to, and he looked like he was nervous to be around people and would curl up in a ball if anybody got too close.

The second one was baby wyvern; this one was as normal as they could be in terms of creatures. It was proud and moved around with a proud posture. It was bigger than the weasel for sure, and it was blue and black around. The problem was it was a bit of a troublemaker. It would shoot out fire every time it could and it would chuckle from what he could tell. He would rub the back of his head as he knew he would be a handful.

The third one was a horse. Okay, it wasn’t just a horse, but it was a horse with wings. He thought of the name for it and it wouldn’t take long for it to click. This was a Pegasus, but it was missing a piece of its horn, and it was all scarred up from its past, which made him feel bad for it. This creature was the biggest of them all and it would be calm and obedient. It was white all around and its hooves had been taken care of. He was glad that they were being taken care of here, and he wanted to help them.

“Alright let’s go out and have some fun guys.” He said to them as he wondered what they were going to do when he was playing with them.

Kaito started doing the paper work to take them for a walk as they seemed like they had some energy to burn to him but of course this was probably going to mean that he was going to have to be very careful as the flying monkey will seek to take off like an over excited puppy, the hydra will probably drag him as well and the mimic will probably drag behind them as it is faking to be an inanimate object. Kaito gets them out the side bay doors so the Hydra can fit out unlike the normal people sized door he had entered the building in. The second the hit the outside air the flying monkey spread it's wings takes to the sky pulling on the lead that lead to it as it flies in circles over head, the hydra seems to have been fitted with a muzzle over it's mouths by the workers there, as now that Kaito was thinking about it the flying monkey was probably about the right size for what the hydra would call a snack.

He was glad they had thought about that with the hydra cause he had not thought about that but the hydra seemed to stay at an even pace with him and was not pulling meaning that the hydra unlike the flying monkey had a mild personality or it was feeling Kaito out before it started to act up so it could know what it could get away with it's dark colored outer scales seemed to nearly shine in the sunlight which means this hydra may have just shed not long before Kaito had gotten there. The Flying monkey is making noises and excited screeches as it is glad to be out and able to fly around.

Kaito looked back at the mimic which was now in the form of a little red wagon and he laughed to himself a bit as that was very cute of it to have done and showed either it had wanted to walk with him or it had not been a fan of being dragged either way it meant that this one was probably pretty smart to know what it had needed to be to be able to both be walked and not too hard to pull behind himself. Kaito wondered if this was the oddest mix of creatures people had gotten or not as he walked them through the near by park area of the adoption center and he can see people staring at them and himself and he gets into the view of the Hydra and he pets the side of it with the palm of his gloved hand and the great creature looked down on him but didn't seem to mind him.

Kaito takes a mental note of this as that means this one might be easier to rehome than it first looked, the flying monkey still seemed the easiest to get a home for as it was playful and excitable so it would be a very fun pet to have for someone that enjoyed the out doors and was going to be able to give it such free outside time and adventures. The mimic seemed to Kaito to be enjoying the walk as it wasn't changing forms and Kaito finds a good place and he takes a seat and looks to the creatures. He makes a sit motion with his hands and the hydra sat then laid down, Kaito whistled and the flying monkey came flying down and tackles him pretty much and Kaito pats the flying monkey's back while sitting it down on the ground and he gives it a boonana.

He then places the fake jewels in the wagon gently so not to scare the mimic which opens the middle of the wagon and the jewels drop in and it moves slightly like it was happy. Kaito then looks to the hydra which he is unsure how he is going to give it a snack and if he is going to be able to get it to eat something easily or if it will be a pain to do. He is going to risk it and he has it bring it's head down and he removed the muzzles and he pulls out some giant rats and he can see the excitement in the hydra's eyes.

Yuurei would let three creatures out. It would seem like they were fine being around each other. It was Yuurei weren’t fond of now. They were moving around the playing area. The wyvern would look at Yuurei and he would breathe fire in the direction of the young man. He would see this, and he would dodge the attack as he couldn’t believe that he would do that here. When he looked behind him, he would see that everything was fine. It would seem like this was strong enough to take on their attacks. That was good and he would look at the wyvern as it would chuckled as it would move around proudly.

The weasel stood in a corner rolling around and enjoying itself there. It wouldn’t bother anybody, and it wouldn’t have anybody bother it. It would just enjoy its time with the little ball that it was always playing with. Yuurei watched it and he would approach as he would have a treat for the weasel. He was trying to get it out of its shell, but he knew that wouldn’t be easy. It would curl up when he saw Yuurei getting too close, and the Nephilim would chuckle a bit as he would turn to the final one.

He walked over to the unicorn as the stallion was moving around the area. It was getting exercise done as it seemed like it was enjoying it and considered it a game. When Yuurei got close to it, the unicorn would step back, and it would look nervous and angry. The Nephilim wasn’t sure what was going on, but it would seem like he didn’t trust many people. He would try and tackle Yuurei, but he would stop the unicorn in its track, and he would pat it down and brush his hair with his hand. The unicorn was surprised about this, but he would be the first to calm down from the three.

Yuurei would smile as it had backed down and allowed Yuurei to handle him with care. The Nephilim was glad about this and the other two would see that the toughest and most anxious of them all would allow this man to take care of him without a problem.

Kaito pulls out the files on the three and he tries to see what they might like to do for fun like playing he figures the mimic probably doesn't do much besides win at hide and seek. Kaito doesn't find anything in the files about what else he could do besides the things he had already went over which to him seemed like it was not on the right foot at all but he guessed he had no right to complain as they probably didn't have the time to find those facts about these creatures. He reaches into a rift and he pulls out a guitar and he looks at them and he would see if the music really soothes the savage beasts or if it will cause them to act up.

Kaito starts playing and the Flying monkey sees he had left go of the lead to do this and Kaito can tell the little trouble maker thought about taking off but it didn't and it started dancing very silly to the music and the hydra seemed to gently sway to the music but Kaito wonders if the snake headed creature was just watching the flying monkey and that is why it was swaying. He looked to the mimic which was staying stoic and still as if it was really just any other little red wagon, Kaito kinda got a bit worried that when he took his eyes off of it that it may have just replaced itself with a real wagon.

He figures that he will find out soon enough and he starts singing to them and the flying monkey stops and looks at him with wide eyes and starts to sing along in his own way and dancing around happy and excited and Kaito figured that was a good idea and the hydra seemed to be enjoying it as well and he keeps his eyes on the wagon which he thinks he sees gently rocking from time to time.

Yuurei would continue to brush the unicorn’s mane, and it would look at him as it would brush his nose on Yuurei.

“You’re friendly when you trust people I see. That’s good to know you should try and be like that if you see a nice family trying to adopt you. Still, pay attention to the ones just acting kind.” He gave the unicorn advice as he wasn’t sure if he understood him.

After a few seconds, Yuurei would stop doing that for the unicorn and he would move on to the wyvern. He would have a treat for the creature. At first, the wyvern wanted to shoot fire at Yuurei again, but then it remembered what he saw with the unicorn. The wyvern knew he could trust the man and he would approach him. It was then he would take the treat that was in Yuurei’s hand, and when he saw that he didn’t do anything else to him, the wyvern would lunge at Yuurei and he would lick him. The Nephilim would laugh a bit when he saw this as he would scratch the wyvern under his chin it would make a noise as it was enjoying it.

This was good and he would hang around it for a bit as he would get up and move on to the last creature he was caring for. This one was the isolated weasel and he figured it would be the hardest one to deal with. He would approach it slowly as it saw Yuurei and would curl up into a ball. He would get close to it slowly, and it would lunge out at Yuurei and it would bite him on his finger. The light mage would take his hand back and would squeeze the finger that got bit. He would keep his smile though as he was looking at the weasel. It was then he would try again and the weasel would look at him and wonder why he was so persistent.

Kaito was enjoying the peaceful time they had but he knew it was going to come to a end some how and the flying monkey getting over excited started to sling mud at people and the hydra who gets mad and starts to snap at the flying monkey who is now scared shitless of the giant creature that is looking down at it baring the fangs that look like they could pierce legendary heavy armor and Kaito stops playing and he gets in between them and he puts his hands up and the hydra stops and calms putting it's heads down and Kaito pats them. It seemed this hydra had been trained to follow commands which now makes him question why this creature was abandoned was it just cause it was big?

He starts leading them back to the center and to the cleaning area and he gets them in their respective cleaning areas so he will have the room and the right tools to get them cleaned up as he was going to have to get the mud off of them and get them back into adoptable shape before someone complains so he gets the vest and fez off of the flying monkey and he gets them into the wash while he gets the flying monkey cleaned up and his coat shining like he was fresh for the scene and once he is finished he puts the clothes on the line to dry while the flying monkey helps him to get the mud off of the hydra and he gives the flying monkey the sign as he scrubs the hydras scales and the hydra is really enjoying the scrubbing to get the mud out of its scales and the flying monkey is doing what he is told.

Once he is finished he checked the monkey's clothes then he goes to the bay with the mimic in it, the mimic is now in the form of a carriage and the mud is still all over it and Kaito signed as he thought this was going to be an easy clean up and he starts getting to cleaning off the mimic being careful where he puts his hands as he is unsure where it's mouth is and so far the mimic has seemed fine with him but that does not mean that the mimic will not just attack him at some point as it can be anything that it wants to be even himself. He gets it clean and dried off then gives the flying monkey back his clothes and he cheers to Kaito excited for more free time.

Yuurei would stare at the weasel as he was trying his best to make sure that he would break through his wall. The weasel would move closer to Yuurei as he would look into the man’s eyes. He wondered if he could trust him, but he could see that Yuurei was waiting for him to take the treat. He would take it from Yuurei and he would see that nothing bad would happen. The Nephilim would move the same hand and he would try to pet the weasel and he would allow it. He would actually fall onto his back and Yuurei would rub his stomach.

“You just got to give new people a chance. Like I said to the unicorn, you can see when someone is bad when they show up. There are a few people who are genuinely nice and want to take care of you.” He said this as the other two would move over to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would look at them and they would rub themselves on Yuurei. The weasel was fine with them as it had gotten along with them. It had gone to his corner because Yuurei was with them. Still, now that he had known Yuurei was cool he would be open around the play area. He would watch them play with each other as they were playful with each other. It would seem like this was the reason why he was taking care of them specifically. They got along with each other, and he hoped that someone would adopt all three of them together.

The four of them would play around for a few hours as he had fed them toward the end of it. They would eat proudly and wouldn’t be worried about anybody attacking them. Yuurei was making sure they ate everything because he was going to clean them after this, so they could be clean when people come in.

The flying monkey flies up and sits on Kaito's shoulder and looks at the mask he was wearing on the side of his head so they could see his face and Kaito turns from the Mimic which turned into a big sized dog and he smirked as this was a new form and he guessed that is how he was going to walk it as it could change forms and it gets down and it has him ride it so Kaito now looks like a man on a big dog and with a monkey on his shoulder like a strange modern day pirate. Kaito laughed as he must look like some kind of crazy person like this while walking a giant three headed snake but now was the time to meet people here interested in the creatures and adopting them.

It was show time and the first one up was the flying monkey which a small girl was looking to adopt for herself and he gets down and as the other two watch him as he has the flying monkey get down and meet the girl and the girl looks like she is super happy to get to meet him and she wants to call him Boris and she talks to him and they seemed to be getting along fine. Kaito invites her to walk with him and hold "Boris'" lead and see if she and get get along and she is a bit scared of the other two creatures but Kaito pats her head and explains they are big sweet hearts and just cause they look scary doesn't mean they really are scary.

The Hydra leaned its head down and Kaito showed her how to pet the giant snake monsters heads and to not put her hand on the gray inner scales and to not carelessly pat the dog as it was a mimic and the girl walked with them and the flying monkey was more mindful about how a hard they were pulling on the lead with a small girl holing it and Kaito was glad about that as that girl would probably get pulled up off the ground if she wasn't careful and Kaito thinks that means that the flying monkey had accepted the girl so that is one adopted and two others to show off and get adopted and he sees a younger man looking at the hydra and following him and he invites the young man over to pet and handle the hydra with him.

Yuurei would look at the three of them and he would stand tall in front of them.

“Alright it's time to clean you guys up. I hear a big family is coming today, so we got to make sure that you guys are ready. I will protect you guys if I think they’re a bad family.” He said to them as he would look at them.

They would seem to understand as they were making noises and it sounded joyful. He would walk over to the place where they would bathe, and they would follow behind him. When he got there, he would turn to look at the unicorn as he would be the first one to be washed. He would take a hose and he would start pouring it all over the unicorn. Once he was done doing that, he would get the soap that was for him and he would put it all over the creature making sure he didn’t leave any spots unclean. Once he was done with that, he would wash it off the creature. It was then he would brush his hair, so it didn’t dry and be all tangled up.

Once he was done with that, he would walk over to the wyvern. He would put the wyvern in the bath with the weasel. He would have them soak up as he was watching them and making sure nothing bad would happen to them. When they were ready, he would clean them up with their own soaps as he was making sure that he would get every spot he could for them. Once they were both ready though he would take a bucket of water and he would pour it down on the two of them. He would do this a few times so that all the soap was no longer on them.

Yuurei would take them out of the bath and he would start doing his best to dry all three of them. He was prepping them for the family as he heard that they were kind and loving. It was the only reason why they even had an appointment here in the first place.

He took them for a decent sized walk and the flying monkey had clearly bonded with the little girl and the little girl had bonded with the flying monkey so once they had returned to the adoption center the little girl handed back the lead and the flying monkey looked sad and Kaito Patted his head to cheer him up as he thinks the girl went to get her parents to come so she could get him as the forms need an adult to sign and Kaito sits at his booth with the forms for all three of the creatures and just as he thought the little girl came racing with her parents in tow behind her and she pointed at the monkey that jumped from Kaito's shoulder to the table and her parents looked at the other and the mother giggled as her daughter with pig tails was all smiles as she held the monkey's hand and she pleaded.

The girls father looked like he was about to deny her when her mother told him to stop being such a tin man and let her adopt the flying monkey. The father clearly had been hit in a soft spot in his hard metal outside and he agrees and Kaito helped the man through the adoption papers and collects the small adoption fee and off went the small girl with her new flying Monkey Boris.

The young man that had walked with him and the little girl was the next to walk up and he asked for right to adopt the hydra and Kaito looks over his idea and then he asked the big girl want she thought and she lowered her heads and let the young man pet her heads which was good enough for him. He starts walking the young man through the paper work getting name age dates and giving him extra info on how to tend to them and to make sure she has a decent sized area to roam around and the man agrees and gets it all filled out and the adopt fee paid and how sissy the hydra has a new home.

Kaito looked as the adoption day was coming to an end, it felt good to get two of the three adopted out and then he looked to the mimic and he felt bad that the chair next to his was not adopted and he thinks of something and he pets the creature and he hears it make what he would think was close to a purring sound. He was going to adopt it and take it home with himself. He leaned close to it and he asked if it was okay and the mimic turned back to it's more formless form and it tilts slightly and he asks again. It seemed to agree to want to go home with him so he starts filling out the paper work for the mimic which Kaito was going to call mims and it seemed to like the name as it shifted into a box so it would be easier to carry. He put his name and other info on the forms and turned in his adoption fee then he left with a job well done from the people at the center and they wished him luck with the mimic. He carries mims the mimic home gently and keeps petting it as he was going to train it and get it use to his other team mates.

Yuurei would look at them as if they were now all dried up. That was good and he would make his way with them to the front of the center. It was then that the family would appear; they seemed like good people and his necklace would make sure that he was correct on that. They had three kids, and they would all run around to the three creatures in front of them. He would look at them and he would nod to them, and he would whisper to all three of them.

“They’re all good people, so you don’t have to worry about anything.” He let them know and they would listen to him.

One of the kids would pet the unicorn as they moved around him and were gently touching it. The unicorn would make a noise as he was fine with the kid touching him. It would seem like this was how he wanted to be treated, which was good.

He looked over to the weasel and it would be picked up kindly by one of the other kids. It would seem like he would cradle the weasel and pet him. The weasel would make an enjoyable sound as this made Yuurei happy. The third kid would move to the wyvern and the two of them would look proud as they stared at each other. It wouldn’t take long, but the kid would pet the wyvern on the head; it was then he could see that they were all bonding nicely. The parents would see this, and they would make the decision to adopt all three of them.

Yuurei was glad to hear this because he wanted them to live together. They would sign the papers, and the three creatures he took care of would say their goodbyes to him. He would smile at them and be happy they were given a second chance. He would watch them leave before he decided to do the same thing.
