Gods, men, Dwarves, Sorcerers, Elves...

Anybody was capable of becoming a monster. At a moments notice, you could transform from a sentient being of peace, into a mindless bearer of chaos. In a world where almost every single creature had the ability to produce mana; anything was possible.  Everything was obsolete- even humanity, to some. That's why when you become a hunter, the first thing you learn was to expect the unexpected. Always expect people to change, always expect the world to throw curve balls, never doubt the versatility of nature, and never reject the fact that death was apart of life. There was someone greater who had determined that single fact, someone Khalfani himself had refused to acknowledge. Whoever made the rules was clearly a piece of shit.

"It's...Beautiful." The Dragon slayer said coldly, blinking as he gazed upon the massive group of titans.

It was a beautiful sight to behold, really. This was the will of nature, to allow beings like the ones before them to exist. A man as simple as Khalfani couldn't even fathom the complexities of the gods or why they did things like this. Too bad they would have to die- both the titans, and the gods.The Commander stood on Paradise Bridge glaring forward towards the army of giants heading their way. Actual. fucking. giants. for fucks sake, but....something was different about these creatures. They looked different from the giants the records of Fiore had shown. These giants had no type of body hair and they walked almost as if they had no control over their beings.

"Azure, any info on these?" Khalfani asked the informant. As each moment passed he created a plan, theories zoomed through his brain. With each quaking step of the giants, the mountains holding the buildings and the bridge swayed to and fro. This was gonna get ugly quick. Beside the commander were the core members, ready and prepared to fight. Aeris, Amir, Haru, Brone, Azure, Yuurei, even Yori had a major role to play now. Word of the giants moving towards Paradise had come from one of Haru's rangers and Yuurei's scouts just in time for them to defend, but could it have been too late for them to survive? Paradise Dawn had just started. Giants, extinct creatures had come back to Earthland for what? Their goals weren't clear yet, but Khal would figure it out when the time came.

The guild hall needed to be protected by any means necessary. On top of that, Rush Valley was also important. The mines and Heph's house also needed to be secured but they were the least of the Rogue's worries. After a moment of gazing towards the spectacle of god's wrath, Khalfani deeply sighed. This battle was going to take all they had. He could already see the death, the bloodshed, the loss. War was no stranger to him, sadly. It took Khalfani no longer than a few seconds to create a plan. He was good on a whim.

"Yuurei, you take the scouts to Rush Valley. You and the scouts will get there quicker than any of us could. One of us should go with him too." Khalfani said, nodding to Yuurei with Haru or Aeris in mind. However, whoever went with Yuurei could use the Gryphon directly above the bridge if need be. "Brone. You'll stay here with the others and defend the guild, alright?" The Slayer turned to the Dwarf with a nod, same as he did for Yuurei. It made the most sense considering there was no record of him being able to fly? It was time for Brone the Dwarf to lead the warriors of Paradise.

"Grrr." He clenched his jaws, squatting on the bridge. As much as Khal wanted Amir to go with him, Amir was the healer, the glue that kept members together...literally. He'd have to stay here at the hall. "I'll go to Sigmundir passes, Yori will come with me." He finally said before tapping his chest as an aura of light gathered around him. Whoever would go with him, he'd carry with ease. Shield and dagger in hand he roared like a dragon.

"Let's send these fuckheads back to the holes they crawled out of! Hmph!"

Azure was tending to his griffin in his room as he wasn't entirely sure as to how he was going to set up the room or his office for that matter. Extortion wasn't all too sure about the current situation either but if their past proved anything she would love this place in a week or so. Even though their game was still on hold the planning was still going on behind everything else.

Seconds, before he could drift off to dreamland the low rumbling, made its way to his room. The informant grabbed his tools and left his room followed by his mount. Making their way over to Khalfani to see just what could be going he pushed his hair behind his ear. Azure wasn't even prepared to fight something of this magnitude but it was either him or them given the fact that he's fought dragons, this should have been easy.

crossing his arms Blu simply told Kha "I'm happy to say I got nothing on this." taking a second to quickly run through his files he has never come across anything like them before. Odd I don't have anything on them, he thought as he now saw this as an opportunity to get first-hand info on them. This was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get somewhat detailed information on a dead one and sell it off later. "Okay, won't do much use from here so I'm off," with a smile, he quickly turn around the informant called his mount so they could head get a more in-depth look at these titans.

The huntress tied her silver mane up out of her face, as she listened to her guild master's instructions. He planned to split Yuurei and Brone into two teams. One would be sent to directly engage and attack the enemy and the other would be working on defending the base from any that slipped past. Not a bad plan, considering there had been very little time to prepare themselves since first sighting the monstrous creatures.

"I'll support Yuurei." Haru announced, taking the initiative to follow the light mage into battle, her ranged capabilities would be useful as backup and she wouldn't have to get close to help eliminate the threats. She'd signal for those under her command to follow her.

Her squad were few, but they were all excellent marksmen, some perhaps better shots than herself. The feline still wasn't completely used to her powerful position, she had never pictured herself a leader, and ordering others around was certainly not her forte. When she had first taken the position, some of those under her clearly did not appreciate being under the thumb of someone as young as her, but most had come around since realising her maturity. Those that did not, had either left her squad to join another or left the guild altogether. Now her team consisted of a handful of loyal, talented rangers.

Up until this point, her job had been fairly simple, mostly just checking in her squad member's patrol reports and handing off any important information to others within the guild as necessary. She'd even had plenty of time to do her own quests from time to time. As she'd worked mostly alongside Yuurei, she felt comfortable aiding him with backup fire in the upcoming battle. Everything was starting to feel much more 'real'.

Things were weird in Paradise Dawn. He had finally settled down in his new home, and it seemed like something bad was coming towards them. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he felt it was a force that was paying him back. He didn’t know what he did, but he figured that in the end, he would have to fight through it. There were a lot of giants moving in their direction. It was interesting to see because he had never seen a creature like this in his life. He was sitting on a ledge with ice cream in his hand as he was eating it.

While looking at everything happening, he would move his hand to his temple as he had gotten a quick brain freeze. Renji would see this, and he would laugh at him.

“Damn that hurt. Freaking brain freeze.” He said out loud as he continued to watch them march.

“You think you can take care of these things Yuu?” He asked curious to his words.

“I would like to say that I can, but who knows. I hope they’re tough, but I don’t want my men to die.” He said to Renji.

Yuurei had been given leadership for a group of people who would seek ahead of others to see if danger would be moving towards their land, and even find things that could be used for the future of Paradise Dawn. He had been doing his best to lead a small team, making mistakes as time would go by, but now he was doing it on a bigger scale.

Still, Yuurei’s legs would move back and forth from the ledge as he was too carefree from the things he saw.

“They still aren’t scarier than Ansem.” He chuckled when he would look over to Khalfani who would speak to him.

Once he heard what he said, he would look over to Haru, the feline who excited him more than anything right now and he had a smirk on his face. He heard her voice, and he would nod as he got up from where he was sitting.

“I love you Renji you know that? Open your bag.” He said as he would take his shirt and jacket off as Renji would open his bag, so he could put his stuff in there.

Yuurei’s gauntlet would also appear on the young man’s right arm as he would look at Haru.

“My men will be on their way to Rush Valley. Haru, can you grab onto me, please? We will drop from here.” He would ask her, and he would wait for her to do so.

Once things were ready, Renji would hold on to him as well as Yuurei would fall from the ledge. When he got low enough two pairs of wings would sprout from him and he would soar through the sky with Haru on his back.

Aeris Umata
As fate would have it, Aeris, the lone vampire, the traveler of the lands, the last member of the village of Courtesa, was now in a position of leadership. A leader of something she never thought possible in her life time, and she was going to live forever if the stories of vampires were true. A guild, a home, a country and army of mixed races living together, Paradise Dawn.

Such a place never though of possible and she was one of the four trusted to make sure the dream became a very real reality for the land of Fiore, she was honored to have the position. She failed her family and friends once, she could not and will not bare a second time. A few days had only gone by since that day and already the dream was faced with an event that honestly made Aeris giggle whole heartedly, "The gods remain to work in mysterious ways while trying to shit on our home. Gods are such dicks~" Aeris said openly hearing their commander speak.

Looking out into the beautiful day, the ground was covered in what appeared to be humanoid like giants by the hundreds it seems coming right for them far into the distance, a testament to how many  there was, Aeris had never seen creatures like these before or heard of them. Hearing Khalfani ask Azure it seemed there to be no records of such creatures, "Told you so, dicks."

The plan wasn't too complex but solid, Yuurei and Haru were the scouts to fight on the front line, honestly as a daughter of a warrior her blood was raging so hot for battle and blood her blue eyes turned crimson at the thought of it, but she was still far to weak she had to admit to herself. Instead, she would settle with fighting with Brone, their dwarfing warrior instead. "It be a honor to fight by a dwarf side as the gods test our guilds mettle." Aeris smiled at her fellow member before turning to the awaiting army, "I want about a quarter of you lot to take the high ground with bow and arrow in hand, were expecting company but company doesn't need to see us. If they get close enough, blind them and there be easier pickings for our warriors. Take positions!" Once the soliders started shifting into place she turn back to Brone and the others, "So what's the plan now?"

The adventurer's life had taken an unusual turn as of late. Despite his hatred for magic, he had accepted Khal's proposal to join his guild. Paradise Dawn was predominantly mage, so naturally, this fact did not sit well with Yori. However, its values and beliefs were something that he could get behind. Not only that but being a part of this guild allowed Yori to protect his people. From what Khal had explained to him, Paradise Dawn was primarily a mercenary guild. A good incentive for someone who would jump at the opportunity to slay a magical creature.

Yori did not possess a lot aside from his equipment, so moving into the guildhall was an easy task. His room was furthest from the main area, as requested so that he could be in solitude. As Yori entered his new quarters, he noticed a floating mirror hanging on the wall. "You can't be serious." Out of anger, he punched the mirror, shattering it into a million pieces. He then made his way to the bathroom to remove the fragments from his knuckles and washed his hands. "Shitty ass mirror."

After returning to his room, the adventurer grabbed his spear and used it to poke the bed. "Nothing funky here." He put the spear back down and made himself comfortable in the bed. Gazing off into space, Yori felt a sudden vibration; however, he paid it no mind assuming it was the other guildmates causing a commotion. Again, he felt the same vibration - only this time, much louder and closer than before. Infuriated, Yori marched to the door, already cursing up a storm.

"I don't know who the fuck you mages think you are but-"

The door swung open, but to Yori's surprise, no one was there. He ran towards the area from which he had entered, still, no one to be found. "Okay... totally not weird at all." Yori ran outside to the bridge connecting the guild to the nearby mountains. There he saw Khal along with the other guild members and several soldiers. Yori took a moment to reevaluate the situation.

At the very least, Yori commended Khal's leadership as he watched him dish out orders left and right. It seemed as if every party knew what they exactly had to do. Now, it was time for Yori to assume his role. With ease, he hopped onto the gryphon and headed for Sigmundir Passes.

Do you think guild names were often to be taken literally? Following that line of thought Amir was not happy with the word Dawn in the guild name. If he had to wake up because an alarm went off every dawn. Amir believed he would have to firmly stab someone. He needed his beauty sleep, if he did not get it, he would become a danger to all. Amir was a tad more stabby when sleepy. Then again it was mostly his fault. The sensors that he set up to research and monitor disturbances in the area were pretty sensitive.

Amir went to the observation post to see what was making the alarm rave. The first look he did not see a thing. He thought he was looking at a human that was further away, then he thought he was looking at a naked human. The fact of the matter was that his mind was a tad delayed from being sleep deprived. The poor scholar was not able to get the proper rest that he needed to function. Amir was too tired to turn off his personal alarm for naked weird people. He curled up in the observation tower and went to sleep for a bit more. Amir was a firm believer of other people being able to handle it till he woke up.

Waking up at a later time Amir felt a lot more refreshed. He checked the observation center and did not notice anything. He assumed the situation had already been handled, a random naked person in their territory was not even worth mentioning. Amir just forgot about it. His mind had more valuable things to think about. Amir returned to researching some variable uses of mana for the day.

The day went on and Amir put the situation behind him. Imagine his surprise when sunset came closer that everything went south. Master monsters started to pop up. They were all similar to the naked person Amir had seen at sunrise. He felt slightly ashamed he did not notice them earlier. The scholar was feeling a bit of relief that Khal did not ask Amir any questions about it. The first thing that Khal could be seen doing was hand out assignments.

Amir was not happy about being assigned to the home base. All the other members of the guild were able to go out and participate in the battle against the large humanoids. It made him feel less than everyone else in the guild. The only person in a similar situation was Brone.

“Any of you that head out. Try to bring back any living specimens you can.” Amir would try to yell out to them as they were leaving. He could take the time to study the humanoids if and when any of his guildmates brought some back.

Along with the other core members of Paradise Dawn, Brone stood fully armored, watching the march of the titans that were making their way towards them. He had heard stories of giants and how scores of his kin had fought against them, but that time was long gone, but here are what seem to be remnants of those beings. Azure, one of the researchers, didn't have any information on these things. The dwarf scoffed, whatever these things were, he had little to no doubt that the guild would handle them. Itching to battle and try his own hands at the gargantuan beings, Brone grumbled at the command of Khalfani, but looking towards him and seeing the look on his face and the nod, the dwarf understood that this wasn't a lack of faith in him, but an abundance of trust, this coming from his guild master, "Aye!" Brone's voice boomed.

Aeris, the red haired young lady, turned to the dwarf and honored him, "Ye honor me enough with yer words, lass" he returned the smile. Aeris had commanded the brigade to ready themselves and take positions, when she turned to Brone, the dwarf answered by giving his own command, doubling down on hers, "As Aeris had said; if any come close, have the melee combatants aim for the shins and ankles, force them down, and when ye get eye level with them, go for the head!" With that, the brigade either nodded or saluted before moving to take their positions. This would be the first time he had ever commanded a body of people, but he needed to make sure he didn't show that, he knew too well from experience that leaders shouldn't give any reason for hesitation or doubt. Trust is key within a body, and Khalfani had just taught him that lesson with that single nod.

"My beloved sister, although you may not ever see me I will sing a song so that even the gods won't take you from me this day or ever, I look forward to seeing you once more." The words would ring in Aeris ears followed by a deep feeling of sleep penetrating her through her skin and down to her bones before she dropped into a deep slumber. Amongst a army of giant humanoid creatures that the gods had sent in masses to the group of Paradise Dawn stood a single figure in the midst of said army, a single tree that hung over even the giants reaching up into the sky as if to reach the gods, a fitting place to be for Cailyn Umata, the vampiric priestess of the sevens.

Light brown eyes piercing into the distance Cailyn could feel a singular entity presence far keener than she could the others and soft smile came upon, lips curling ever slightly, "I found you." Cailyn said as she looked towards a particular building but as she did so she realized that the gods creatures were fighting the people who this area belonged too and some of them were slipping through the cracks, a few of the giants heading right to where she could sense her sister, "Gaea, why do you and the gods test me so? Must I continue to kill to save my loved ones? If so then I suppose I have no choice then.." Cailyn said half to herself while a part of her was speaking to the same gods that brought these abnormal circumstances into play.

As one whom remained faith even in prison caught between life and death itself Cailyn bowed her head as she sung a prayer to the gods, "From the earth we rise as nothing but clumps of clay and flesh, bone and ash. All things must begin and end, may one's suffering be intense but enlightening, there love long and prosperous, and there death, meaningful and swift. Amen~" Cailyn finished as her blood lust fully awakened and she lunged from the tree she was standing on into the air, leaping a whole fifteen meters ahead onto a tree branch.

The land of Fiore was foreign to her but its habitats were not so diffrent from the sevens, her mobility training in the forests proving just as useful here as she ran barefoot leaping to tree branch to tree branch with giants like a wolf running free. Catching up to one Cailyn made a bigger leap right into it's center back, her left leg curling into her body while she leapt so she could snap out her right leg into a kick right into it'e center causing the beast to twist somewhat awkwardly as she did a backflip right off of it and then used her finger nails to dig into it's skin to hang on.

The creature naturally began to struggle and like she did to all things, Cailyn began singing a song of passing as she used her nails to dig into the creature's flesh as she pulled herself up to it's face gradually as it's struggles resisted, climbing onto it's face however Cailyn would be anything but the godly benevolent priestess one would expect as she pierced her right hand forward into the creatures eyes causing it to scream and howl in pain, "Move forward." Cailyn commanded, digging into the creature's eye if it didn't comply until it did.
