Deadliest Catch PT. 23 (Neutral) Empty Thu Jan 12, 2023 12:25 pm

Yuurei

Yuurei had decided to go back to a place he had not been in for quite some time. He figured that he would go there and see what he could do to help the locals out. The Nephilim figured that he would try out with the fishmen and see if there was a big catch that they were going for today. It was what brought him to the job board. He would look through them and he would smile as he found what he was looking for. He would show Renji who wasn’t wearing anything but his swimming trunks. Yuurei was wearing his swimming trunks as well as he had his shade on, necklace, ring, earring and his schoolbag.

“We got a job Renji, let’s be on our way.” He said to his friend.

Renji would look at him and he would shake his head.

“You took this job because you want to try out your new toys against a monster.” He said as he was okay with it only because Yuurei would be making jewels.

Yuurei

Yuurei was indeed excited to use his new gear and that was something anybody would know. He was tired of fighting these creatures up close, so he figured shooting this beast would be enjoyable. Hell, he had other weapons he could use as well. It was something he would be doing today and it would be wielding his other weapons. He walked through the sand with his friend as they did enjoy the weather in this island. It was much hotter here than any other place around Fiore.

“Yes, I plan on using a new weapon to fend off the sea creature. Don’t judge me.” He said with a smile on his face.

Renji would shake his head as they kept moving through the sand. It wouldn’t take long, but they would see the port coming to their sight. That was good because they would see all the sailors and fishermen working like it was a natural thing to do.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were moving around the port as they were waving at the people there. It would seem like they would greet them as they had known who they were. It was nice to see these people again, and honestly, he missed it here. Still, he had a duty to focus on in the North, which was why he didn’t say for too long. He was looking around at the ships that were docked. He was looking for a specific one, which was the one that this job belonged to.

He moved around, but it seemed like he couldn’t find it. He would chuckle because it would seem like the ships that he worked for were truly in the end of it all. He would keep moving though searching for it. He had an idea where it was, but he didn’t want to overlook it by mistake.

Renji was doing the same thing as he had seen what to look for earlier.

Yuurei would make it to the end and when he got there, he would look at the remaining ships that were there. There were multiple and his eyes would scan the area until he found it. When he saw the ship that he was looking for, he would walk over to it. Renji would do the same thing as he would walk over to the ship. It was huge and it looked like it was made a long time ago. He would wait for something to happen, and then he would clear his throat as he looked up to the top of the ship.

“Is there anybody up there? We’re here on notice of your request. We would like to board your ship if we’re allowed to.” He said out loud waiting for an answer.

Renji would also look up as he was waiting for someone to say something and allow them to enter the place.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would wait for a few seconds and finally, someone would show up at the edge of the ship. They would look at Yuurei and Renji for a bit as they were trying to figure out who they were. When they saw who it was, they would smile at the two of them and they couldn’t believe who was there.

“Yes, please Yuurei and Renji come up on the deck. We’re almost done with our work and getting ready to set sail.” He said to them as he would go back to work.

Yuurei and Renji would hear this and the two of them would make their way to the deck of the ship. When they got there, they would see that people were working hard and he would smile as if this was going to be good.

“We’re ready whenever you are.” He said to the captain of the ship as he was waiting for him to say something.

Yuurei

The captain would hear this and he would smile as he was glad that he was eager to get things started.

“Alright everybody, we’re on our way to catch a big one today. We have the most famous mage with us. So let’s make sure that we get there without a problem. I’m pretty sure he can handle the rest.” He said to his people as they would start getting things ready.

It was then the anchor was pulled up and the wind would blow on the mast. It would start pushing them off the docks and it would start heading into the sea.

Yuurei would go to the captain of the ship as they were ready to stop the ship whenever they could.

“So what kind of catch am I dealing with it today?” He asked him waiting for an answer.

He would look at him and he was glad that he would ask as he was getting ready to tell him.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at him and wait for an answer, and the man would start explaining to him. It would seem like it was a cow-like sea creature, and it got aggressive whenever it saw a ship. This should be interesting, and he figured that it would give his new weapons a run for their jewels. He couldn’t wait for the fight to begin, and he would make it to the edge of the ship as was looking to see when the sea monster would show themselves. Renji would be next to Yuurei as they were also looking to see if they could spot the monster they would be fighting.

It was then that they would see something move around the water. The crew saw this as well and they would make their way to the monster. It was then that the sea cow would turn in the direction of the ship and it would roar from the sight of the ship.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would see this, and they would look at each other. They would shake their heads as they knew it was time to make their way to the monster. Yuurei would start flying into the air and he would see that the sea cow was making his way to them. The Nephilim would move to them, and he would bring out his vacuum gun and he would shoot it at the water. The splash would stop the creature from moving to the ship. The wave, however, was so big that it would continue its path to the ship. Yuurei would see the wave knock on the ship and it would tilt so hard that people would fall out of the ship.

Yuurei would shake his head as he knew what he needed to do. He would shoot another blast at the water to get the creature’s attention. His wings would grow from his back and when that happened would just have a smirk on his face.

“Wyrd, go rescue the men that fell into the sea. Once you do that you can come back to me.” He said to his cape, and it would listen to him.

It would be then the cape would be on his way to rescue the men in the water. Yuurei would look at the sea cow and it would lunge out from the water, and it would try to take a bite at him. He would see this, and he would dodge the attack and he would shoot out a bean of water from the gun. It would cause the cow to fall back into the water, but it didn’t do that much damage.

He laughed because he knew better, and he would switch his gun to his bow and arrows. He would look at the sea cow as it would move underwater as it was trying to figure out where it would attack from.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at the creature in the water and he could see that it wasn’t coming out right now. He wasn’t going to wait for it anymore like in the past. He would just smile as he pulled the string back of the bow and a magical arrow would appear and it would shoot straight at the creature. It would scream and roar from the pain as it would move around to try and avoid Yuurei.

He had changed into his berserker’s suit and lord drakkon’s helmet. He would smile as he would pull the string again and shot out a weaker yet powerful arrow at the monster. It would scream again, and it would get impatient once again. It was ready to attack, and it would lunge out of the water once again. Yuurei’s cape would pick up the sailors and would put them back onto the ship. Once they were all on the ship, the cape would make its way back to Yuurei.

Yuurei would watch the creature come straight to him and he would shake his head. His cape would come on time, and it would smack the creature from hitting Yuurei. It would take some damage, and Yuurei would release an arrow straight at the monster. It would jerk from the pain, and it would stop moving from the final blow. It would hit the ground and it would stay floating. It was done and out and not alive in this world.

The Nephilim would see this, and he would pick up the sea cow and move it to the ship. Once he had done that, Yuurei would land on the deck of the ship. The people on the ship would roar in cheers as they were happy that Yuurei had been able to do this without a problem. They would secure the sea cow and they would make it back to the port, docking the ship and Yuurei would get paid soon after. They would part ways from the ship and on their own way.
