Client:

Abbadon the Watcher: A homunculus crafted by Lady Merlin herself; he is but a mere prototype that ventures about the shadows at night. Dancing under the moonlit sky as he scavenges the blooming capital night by night, watching, when the Rune Knights are not, the city he was tasked to protect under his handler's orders. He is not only her ears, but her sight as well.

Summary: Abbadon finds you near the Grand Cathedral. He recognizes you and asks for your help in scouring the Cathedral catacombs for cultists, who had disguised themselves as worshipers to gain access and are now attempting to summon bad spirits to haunt the cathedral. Accompany Abbadon into the church's underground labyrinth. Find all the cultists and defeat them before they summon any bad spirits.

Enemies:

Cultist Underlings: Unfortunate souls who have been brainwashed into thinking the only way to become strong is by mingling with the abyss beings. These fanatics specialize in darkness magic to debuff their opponents and buff each other. They stack the buffs and debuffs steadily over time and stay out of range until they have a great advantage, after which they will close the gap to finish their opponent. It is wise to finish them quickly before they get that opportunity.

Deranged Cultist: A crazy cultist who wishes to become a demon one day. He has no conscience and would do anything to achieve his goals. Such obsession coupled with his extraordinary intelligence makes him a truly formidable opponent. Adept at darkness magic, he uses many illusory techniques to feint a powerful attack, and when his opponent falls for it, he will then cast his actual devastating spells. Overconfident with his abilities, the lunatic seldom covers his blind-spot, and is extremely vulnerable to attacks from behind.

Objective: Scour the catacombs of Grand Cathedral with Abbadon and defeat all disguised cultists within.

Extra Rewards:

Details:

Create a topic in Crocus' Grand Cathedral.
You will find Abbadon preparing to enter the catacombs.
Seeing you, he will inform you of the breach by the cultists and request assistance.
Enter the catacombs with him.
The cultists will be well-hidden among the rest of the genuine priests.
Abbadon will become very skeptical of all the priests and begin questioning them insensitively.
Stop him before he offends too many of the actual priests.
Continue your search, and you will eventually run into two priests trying to break into a locked room.
It will be obvious these two are impostors.
Engage in a fight against the two Cultist Underlings along with Abbadon, and defeat them.
Capture the two Cultist Underlings and incapacitate them. They will laugh at you and let slip that their leader is still within the catacombs and will soon summon the dark spirits.
Watch as Abbadon tortures the two cultists for the exact location of their leader, with no emotion.
The cultist underlings will soon give up the information and plead for mercy, but Abbadon will break their arms anyway.
Follow Abbadon as he rushes towards the inner chambers where the Deranged Cultist is.
You will see that the crazy man is almost ready to begin his summoning ritual. Stop him before he begins.
Fight the Deranged Cultist alongside Abbadon and defeat him.
When the fight is over, the cultist will accept defeat and fall to his knees. Abbadon will quickly strike, killing the man without a shred of hesitation.
Follow Abbadon to Lady Merlin. She will dismiss the homunculus and ask you about his performance when you two are alone.
Emphasize on Abbadon’s complete lack of human emotion and compassion. She will make a note of it and give you your reward.
