Yuurei and Renji had taken a job from the job board at night. He had seen there was a job that he could do right now. He would take it as he would make his way to the outside gates of Era. He had slept through the day because of the other job he had recently taken care of. When he got to the front of the gate, he would get a report from Marwin for him to read. He would take the report and he would read through it. It would seem like there were rumors of zombies being in the woods. This was interesting, and he figured he would go check it out. He didn’t wait for anybody as he knew he could take care of himself no matter the danger.

Yuurei would walk into the woods that were near this area and he would start checking to see if he could find tracks as he continued going deeper into the woods.

Yuurei would keep searching, but he wouldn’t be able to find anything or so it seemed. It was interesting that they would have reports of something that wasn’t true. Still, it wouldn’t take long, but he would find footprints. It had led to a certain direction, and he would follow it but made sure that he didn’t step on anything that would cause noises. He would move around and soon enough he would find a large statue of a god in the middle of the woods. What was more interesting about it was the people surrounding it.

It would seem like they were doing something with the statue, and he wasn’t sure what it was. He would wait to see what they could do as he kept his distance. He didn’t want them to know he was there, and he was told not to engage in anything he found. It would seem like they were doing a ritual of sorts, which meant they could have been resurrecting the dead.

Yuurei

Yuurei would see enough and he would make his way out of the woods. He would sneak away from the statues so he wouldn’t make any noise. The Nephilim was good with nature and lived their whole life in it, so he didn’t have to worry about that. The berserker would continue moving through the place and he would see the gates that he had originally come from. When he got there, he would see that his client was there waiting for him.

The light mage would speak to him and he would tell him what he had seen within the woods. He would let him know he didn’t engage, so they didn’t know anything. The Lieutenant would hear this and he was glad to hear that this investigation was getting more information. He would take out a bag of jewels and he would hand it to Yuurei. The light mage would take the jewels and he would bow at the knight before he left with Renji back into the city for the night.
