Yuurei


Yuurei had told Kaito what they were going to do today, and he was happy that his friend didn’t mind it at all. This was perfect, and hopefully, they would be able to do something when they joined a faction. He felt like he wasn’t doing much on this island. Yes, he was helping the locals in treating the sick, and even getting herbs that they needed to better them. Still, he felt like he could do more, and that was what he was hoping for.

The hunter was with his trusty Exceed as they were approaching the shop that they ate from yesterday. When they got there it was morning and it was getting close to noon in about two hours. Yuurei noticed that he was the first to arrive, so he would lean on the wall as he waited. Renji looked at Yuurei and knew that Kaito would show up.

As for Migi he saw them waiting for the guy from yesterday and wasn’t sure he would show up.

Kaito

Kaito appears wearing a new cloak and a better looking mask than his normal one and he walks up toward Yuurei and Renji and he wonders if there was anything that he was missing or that he would bp need to be doing or be bringing as he had never done something like this before and his master had told him to dress for the place you were going and he figured that joining a faction might be more a reason to be dressed up and not dull looking if he could help it as unlike Yuurei Kaito really doesn’t stick out in a good way and he would need to make a decent impression if he can help it and that means that he shows up looking better than he usually did and he waves to Yuurei and Renji and he stops next to them and he wonders in which way that they should be heading to do this task.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were waiting for Kaito and soon enough chewy would see him coming. They saw him dressing better than usual and he would smile. It would seem like he had come looking to impress those they were going to see today.

He would look at his friend as he walked around him.

“Nice outfit. We should head to the east of here. I did some searching yesterday and all I got was that there are three factions within the island. We should check to see if we can find the faction's exact locations.” He said to Kaito.

Renji wasn’t sure where his friend had done this, but he figured it was while he was actually sleeping.

“Yeah the people here couldn’t tell us more, but they said we might find more information if we head to the east side of the island.” Migi added to the conversation.

Yuurei would start moving as he figured he and Kaito could talk while they headed to their destination.

Kaito was not sure how much he liked the face that Yuurei’s hand had been talking but he would have to grow use to hearing the arm speak to him and give sassy feed back but he will need to try to figure out if the east of the island was really the answer but he guessed they would find out when they got there and were able to find maybe some kind of hint to joining the people and gaining their faction he knows that Yuurei will be picked but Kaito has no idea if he will be picked along with him or if he will have to leap through hoops to try and get picked and allowed to join but there has to be some kind of answer but no one is truly sure on if that is the right but they were going to run the gauntlet and find out if it was the truth of the matter. Kaito follows the group and he tries not to speak and he wonders if this intel was correct.

Yuurei


Yuurei and Renji continued walking, and while they had done so they would look back at Kaito. It would seem like their friend wasn’t very talkative. It would also seem like there was something on his mind. They weren’t sure what it was, but they figured they would try to get him to spill the beans somehow.

He would put his hands behind his head as he would walk. Renji didn’t say anything, and Yuurei would look at Kaito.

“You’ve been quiet for some time Kaito. You’ve been like that since yesterday. What’s wrong? We could talk to each other right?” He asked Kaito as they were approaching their destination.

Migi would hear this and look over to Kaito and then to Yuurei.

“He probably just doesn’t want to talk to you right now.” Migi said to Yuurei.

Renji would 0hear the arm and he would shake his head.

“You talk more than I do. Mind your business Migi.” Renji said to him.

Kaito rubbed the back of his head he was really just being too much it seemed in the fact he was so unsure of himself if he was really himself or if he was acceptable in any of this and he needed to get out of his head or this might just get ugly and make Yuurei think that Kaito didn’t like them or that he was truly unsure of this faction joining thing and he wondered if there was really a need to try and figure this out or say it Kaito was probably the strange looking one and he hears the thing speak to Yuurei and he wondered if that was really the problem he was having or if it was something else that lease his mind and move astray of speaking and getting into he talking mood.

Kaito clears his throat and he sold straighter and he starts speaking up. "It isn’t about talking to him, more it is I am unsure if I will say something stupid that makes me unappealing to the faction so I am trying not to say any thing that might look bad on myself or might harm Yuurei’s image. " he sighed as he knows you can only shine a turd but the turd will still be a turd just with a shiny coat to it but beyond that he is still a turd and worthless.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear Kaito’s words and he would move his Migi Arm down to the side, and he would rub the back of his head with his left hand. He would smile at Kaito and he would shake his head. He didn’t think Kaito would ruin his image. He was pretty sure that his friend was the most famous mage in the world. If anything, having him around was only boosting their chance of all the factions wanting them to join.

“I mean you’re Fiore’s most famous wizard. I don’t think you could say anything that would ruin our image unless you intend to say something out of hand.” He said as he laughed at that part.

Yuurei didn’t know what had happened, but for some reason when his arm changed, things also changed in this world. The Seraphim remembered being the most famous mage in the world, but for some, it clicked that it was Kaito and not him anymore.

"Pretty sure when someone thinks of a famous and power mage you come to mind far before I do." he was no sure if Yuurei was being humble or if Kaito was just in denial about where his standing was in the world but either way he wasn’t going to accept that he, himself was going to be any real kind of factor that would influence or change any out comes that he wasn’t lead through nor did he think that he knew the right way to say and do things as he mostly worked alone besides Revy but for now she is missing and he has no idea if he would even be able to do anything to even try to be on top of the things it would take to even get them scouted. He kept walking along and wondering how they would know if they saw on of the faction members to ask to be able to be taken to their leader or someone willing to have them be officially noted as being part of the team and faction to be called on.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at Kaito and he would chuckle. He was the stronger of the two physically, but when it comes to fame Kaito had him beat by a landslide. It was what gave Yuurei the motivation on catching up to him.

“When it comes to power, I can understand that; I am one of the strongest if not the strongest mage right now. But when it comes to fame, I’m pretty sure for some reason you have me beat.” He said to Kaito as he rubbed the back of his head.

He wasn’t sure why that was the case. Still, while they were going back and forth on this, it would seem like they had arrived at their location. It was then that they would see a couple of people walking around.

Yuurei would approach them as they wore masks of their own. He figured it was to make sure that they didn’t get sick from whatever was going on there.

“Hey could you point me in the direction where I can find any of the three factions on this island?” He asked them.

They would look at him surprised at his words and would ignore him. They would rush away as they didn’t want any problems.

Kaito

Kaito was unsure of those things but he guess he has no right to argue with the warden of the north if they say something like that as he is still alive and probably is going to be doing his best and he sees Yuurei walk up to them and the people splitting up and trying to lead them off the trail and Kaito takes off after them as they seemed to maybe see them as a threat and he makes them run in a circle through the use of his portals and dimension controls to make the ones that had not know. Now know who they are fleeing from Kaito of Fairy Tail. "We do not seek to harm you but we need your help please stop running and speak to us."

Kaito is probably scaring them more than he was not scaring them as he had pretty much just trapped them in a maze of dimensional portals and told them to play his game, but instead of a game he is just asking them to help them if they can which probably looks more like Kaito harassing them than anything else.

Yuurei would watch them walk away, but then he would see that Kaito wasn’t going to allow it to happen. The Seraphim had found it funny that they were moving in circles. He would hate it if something like that had happened to him. Still, when they noticed what was happening, they would stop moving. They were defeated, but they weren’t going to speak. They just didn’t want any trouble and that was the problem.

Someone would see what was happening, and they figured that they would appear. A huge man would appear behind Yuurei and Renji as he was looking down at them. Yuurei could see the shadow behind him, and he would turn to him.

“Hey there, I was wondering when you would join us. I guess you can answer our question?” He asked the man waiting for an answer.

The man would chuckle as he looked at Yuurei.

“Who do you think you are bullying these people?” He asked Yuurei and at the same time would attack him.

Yuurei would dodge the attack with ease Renji would run away and then move to Yuurei.

Kaito

Kaito has done it again he has done something that has caused Yuurei some more trouble and he ended up causing a whole new fight to have started and he is going to have to really make this up to yuurei for causing another issue that caused him to have to fight and Kaito makes the portals stop making them run around in circles. "We can just talk this over we are looking to join the cause not fight with you all." he raised his hands and he waits for Them to calm down as he was not looking for this drama or for every thing to turn to shit because he had done what he had done as this wasn’t to be a fight or anything it was to be a meeting and them jumping on board to help them but this had turned to shit and was now an issue that needed to be dealt with swiftly before someone innocent ends up getting the life beaten out of them.

Yuurei was going to fight them and he would just smile at him as he would look over to Kaito. He would hear his friend speak up as he stopped what he was doing. The Seraphim would look at the man as if it seemed like he might be what they were looking for.

“It’s like he said, we aren’t here to cause trouble but join the cause. We heard there are three factions within Talaz Lagaar who have their own ideals. We’re trying to see who we want to help.” Yuurei explained to him as well.

The man looked at the two of them and it would seem like they wanted to join the cause, but didn’t know any better. It wouldn’t take long, but he would notice who these two men were. This would be good if he could get them both to join them.

“Well follow me and I can explain what the people call us the Talaz Loyalists want from gathering people to our cause.” He said to Yuurei and Kaito as he started walking off.

Kaito

Kaito is confused that, that had worked as he was worried it was just going to get crazier for them as he had pretty much just surrendered to them and that could have been seen as a weakness but it seems that they will be talking to them so that means a lot. Kaito gets closer to find out what is going to happen as he was glad this wasn’t going to be a fight but now there is just a new question on the horizon as to if this will be the new chapter ahead of them or if this is just a side story that will mean nothing later and just end up with them having to slay a new foe and keep themselves on the move till the next big bad guy comes out of the wood work and tries to kill them or other people that will force them to jump into action to stop someone’s death when really no one else steps up to help so it falls onto them.

Yuurei was glad to hear this man speak; what made it better was that he was with the faction they were hoping to join. This was perfect, and he was fine with 9joining them right off the bat.

“This is good; we planned to join you guys from the beginning, but we do plan to go and see what the others have to offer. I guess it is scouting for you guys as well.” He said to them with a smirk on his face.

The man would hear this and he would laugh a bit as he was glad that they understood their values.

“Good to hear that about you two. The person who leads us is Grand Arbiter Steve. We don’t think the knowledge that Talaz Lagaar has achieved is something that cannot be let into the world right now. It would be scary for a lot of the countries in this world. We want to return Talaz Lagaar to an isolated place. If that is too hard, we will just make sure people can’t take our technology out of the island.” He explained to Yuurei and Kaito as he kept walking.

Kaito was now wondering if this was a bad idea but at the same time that he really didn't have another choice in this matter as he knows the damage something of unknown dangers can cause if it is let to go unchecked and he wants to make sure that he can make that choice in the end that would be best for the world and this just seemed to be the best as there was no other choice but to do it as that was what the world needed was to be protected as some of the things that they had done and seen in this place shaped it to look quite bad and misguided if Kaito had to be honest he could see how others could come to help them but them sending any of the monsters and sicknesses as well as people using it for the wrong reasons just feels like it would all just end up causing a hug e back lash that would see this place sunk to the bottom of the sea.

Yuurei would hear his words, and he would rub the back of his head. He wouldn’t tell this guy that he had a bunch of technology back home, but he understood where he was coming from. It made sense and honestly, it was why he wanted to join their side.

The Seraphim would keep walking as he would look over to Kaito and it would seem like he was thinking about things.

“That’s understandable, and I’m fine with those ideas. I don’t think it’s right for people to have access to this. It could cause huge problems for the world.” He said to him.

“Yeah, and I'm glad to hear that. I don’t know if Steve will be able to show himself today. Hell, I don’t know if he’s there today. If anything, you can talk to the people around our base of operation. We’re almost there.” He said to Yuurei and Kaito as they would be making their way there.

"Most of the people that create things here seem to think themselves gods and I have come to dislike that, kill the people to further their power and standing poison them then sell them the cure. It is madness to allow this kind of sickness to spread and infect more people to spread it further and kill and harm more." Kaito nearly sounded like a different person instead of the meek dweller of shadows that he was usually. Maybe he was tired of the suffering in plain sight maybe Kaito had just snapped and feels that he needs to do something more, or maybe Kaito was talking out of his ass it was hard to tell which of the three it was. Kaito looked at Yuurei and then to the man that had come out of the blue to show them where they could go. Kaito feels something in himself that he is not even sure he knows what or why it is but he was going to keep doing what he was doing even if in the end it kills him or makes him a stronger "man".

Yuurei would hear Kaito speak after the man did, and he wasn’t wrong about that. Still, he wasn’t sure if there was something they could do about that. They would have to rebrand themselves and possibly look like criminals in the eyes of the people. He wasn’t sure if they were ready for that yet.

“Yeah I wouldn’t want this sickness to spread, but I also don’t want their technology to land in the hands of the wrong person.” He said to both of them.

It was then Yuurei would see that they were heading to a gate. When they got there the man in the front would open it and he would let them inside. When they got there, they would see people moving back and forth. It seemed like they were swamped today, and there was no stopping them.

“Have a look around, chat with anybody here, and get a good sense of what others feel about the situation. Once you’ve come to your conclusion come to me with an answer. You’re allowed to leave any time so no worries. We know how strong you two are.” He told them they were free to roam.

Kaito looked around at the place and he wonders if this is the right choice or if they might be more of a military here, but he guesses that maybe to do what they do they are probably attacked by another faction so they have to do this and keep themselves safe from the world and he does as he was told to walk around but the others seem to give him a wide birth as they don’t want to bump into him or risk gaining his ire he guessed that he was just as scary to them as he was to other people and he just has to get use to the people here as well seeming scared of him and his curse.

Kaito hurries along and sees plans and other things that he probably shouldn’t be looking at and he wonders where and why these things were here and he wonders if they might be behind some of the innocent lives that get lost to strange glitches and viruses.

Yuurei would hear the man’s advice and he would nod at him. He would start walking around the place. He decided it was best to look around and gather knowledge of the place first. While he was doing that, Renji had gotten off his shoulder. He would look around as well as he found it interesting to see that people were armed here.

Migi was looking around in the place that Yuurei couldn’t see or possibly had avoided. He didn’t care about this situation, but he knew that his host did.

The Seraphim would see a pair chatting with each other and he figured that they might be able to express their opinions on the matter. He approached them without hesitating as he had a smile on his face.

“How do you guys feel about keeping the inventions of Talaz Lagaar away from the people outside of this island?” He asked waiting to see what they would say.

They would look at him a bit confused as they didn’t think someone would ask a question like that.

Kaito agreed that they would help in this endeavor to keep the tech and other things out of the hands of others outside of the island as one Kaito had first hand knowledge of the evils that this garbage could and would do if in the wrong hands or in the hands of some wannabe hero like some people that come to mind that could not be spoken about right now as there were others that might seek it to recreate it for a different means and that means there is a lot of holes people might even come to try and fill that cause more issues for the rest of the people of this country and they might even recreate these issues outside of the island so for now Kaito and the rest of them that serve this banner are the ones that need to stop them at the gates and not allow this stuff to leave the island and be allowed to be sold to countries.

Yuurei

Yuurei would ask the questions and he would get the answers he was looking for. It was simple things, that allowed him to understand what faction he wanted to work with. It only made sense that he chose them over every other faction. This would keep the world safe from the people who would use Talaz Lagaar’s intellect for evil. He moved around the place for a bit, getting his questions answered. It would seem like this place was legit, which was a good thing. Still, he figured that it was time for resting. The group had been fighting monsters for quite some time here. They had just gone through the wringer as Yuurei lost his arm not too long ago.

He figured resting would be for the best and thinking about what to do next would be ideal. He would speak to the man who brought them here, and he would tell him the good news before making his departure.
