Kaz the Malevolent
Storm clouds formed above the headquarters of the knights. Citizens slunk away into their homes. Windows and doors slammed shut, hiding faces riddled with fear. Just as before, they knew what the coming storm meant. But there were those that gave themselves freely to the changing winds. citizens that shambled into the streets ready for a new age to come to them. One bathed in war.

None of them mattered to the malevolent force that emerged from the dark clouds above the rune knight headquarters. Kaz was delighted at the feast before him for the first time since coming to this virgin land. A twisted funnel of wind crashed down upon the top of the rune knight tower. It reminded him of the days in his own land. A thrill to be able to relive it somewhere else.

The tornado battered the stone and shattered the windows. A platform of ruble was left behind. Kaz hovered downward. His boots grazed the broken stone and landed flat. alongside him, was the work he had put in the past few days, sneaking through the backstreets. fifteen people in robes descended behind the mage. Carried down by the wind. They were robed in white with red trim. All knelt behind the wind mage in silence.

"Shouldn't be long now," he spoke as he brandished his sword. "Where are those who still wish to fight for freedom, that's already lost," he uttered into the wind, to no one in particular, as he stepped towards the door that clung to a single hinge.

A small squad of knights poured out of the passage. The first wave. "I see. I can respect your bravery even if it is a mask for foolishness."

They charged the raider. Kaz dashed forward in the blink of an eye and limbs flung off the sides of the tower. Only one remained as the wind mage dug his fangs into the lieutenant. Life left his eyes and his body went limp. With the first wave gone, Kaz waited for the next. He drug one body to the ledge and let their blood drain down the proud banner of the knights.

"No victory comes without a symbol."

If none would come in time, he would reveal why he chose this vantage point. To rain down shearing wind onto the land. In reality, he hoped no champion would come even though he knew they would. He wanted an easy takeover. One that would ensure people didn't get injured. Dead subjects would not be beneficial. He looked over his shoulder at the squad of robed people that still knelt, and then back to the entrance.

One foot after the other, Jove walked through the city of Era. Storm clouds had formed above, an ominous omen indeed. Wind howled between bricks and cracks, and the people of the city had long since fled into their buildings. The empty street invited the Knight further in, and as one of the three individuals who had come to deal with what was now occurring, he accepted the invitation without question.

He would enter the gates leading into the Rune Knight Headquarters, just in time to see a tornado crash down upon the tower which stood proudly before him just a moment before. The winds twisted and raged, and as they disappeared, only piles of debris and destruction remained.

Jove's lips curled into a frown, his scythe now firmly held within his right hand as his gaze fell upon a rampart about sixty meters away. Screams and war cries rang out for a few moments, only to be swallowed up by the winds and sound of rain.

Jove had stood for only a few moments more before he spoke up, addressing individuals whom he should not have yet been able to see. "Thank you both for accompanying me here. I have a feeling we're not going to get off at a reasonable hour today." Two other mages, both well known throughout the country, had approached from behind. Together, the three of them would have to confront this Raider.

Alisa

Amazing just how quickly everything can turn south... Alisa heard of the Dark Universe's invasion, but she like many others might have seriously underestimated the menace. The mages of Fiore had proved more than capable of keeping the invaders at bay. But then the Generals came... Even with the King's called to arms, the Dark Universe champions had levelled whole areas of the country by now. She even heard how a dark mirror of herself was causing chaos in Hargeon... And though the thought alone left her clenching her fists, Alisa trusted her guildmates... She believed they could triumph, even against a foe as fierce as her alternate universe self. Taking a long, deep breath, Alisa looked off to the horizon and instead focused on the war. Era. Just like Hargeon, Era too had recently come under attack, and after ensuring the safety of her guild, one clear, irrefutable drive lingered in the tall woman's mind.

The Rune Knights were not allowed to fall.

At their full strength, the Knights could coordinate their response far more efficiently than the guilds could, after all, they were far closer to a proper military organization than Guilds and their rag tag bands of mages. No doubt, the enemy knew this, which is why the attacker in Era had specifically targeted the Knights. Pragmatic as ever, she left Hargeon in the hands of her allies and got in touch with Era's defenders, meeting the two her full suit of armor, a dark, form fitting bodysuit sitting sugly around her sinious shape, protected by leather and metal and an enchated hunter's coat draped over her shoulders.

"How awful...", even now the dead bodies and destruction littered the streets... Alisa still hadn't seen just what tragedies had befallen Hargeon. She opted not to, so as to not cloud her head with thoughts of revenge while so many battles yet reamined in front of her. They needed only follow the trail of destruction.

Up high above she caught site of their foe, a tall, almost ghostly figure with pale skin and long, flowing white hair, exhuding a menacing aura seething with malice... Even if he hadn't been attacking the Knights, Alisa would have never had any doubt to the man's intentions. She answered the Knight's words with that calm, cool and collected tone as she shook her head. He had nothing to thank her for, after all... Both of them knew fully well Era falling would mean disaster for the whole country:

"Not at all Jove... As frustrating as it feels to get pulled from your vacation like this... We've let these people have their way for far too long.", spoke the sculptress, summoning her visor, covering her eyes as she took in her surroundings... She'd been hunting supernatural creatures for far too long to ever miss a vampire strolling in the open. In the end, a soft smirk drew on her lips as she summond a large, weighty cross from her pocket dimension, strapped to her back and radiating a menacing holy aura to strike fear into the hearts of the fiercest vampires, "Guess we just have to make it clear to our little guest here... Just how obnoxious that is."

Following a short distance behind the 9 to 5 sorcerer, Alisa pulled out that long, gleaming black blade from her pocket dimension, holding it in her left hand as she sized up their foe, her body loose and limber, ready to respond to whatever attacks came her way.

† Aleja

The Dark Universe had a major win-streak. There wasn't a doubt in the Captain Commanders mind that in due time, the Raiders would complete their mission if the fighters of earthland didn't give this war everything they had. Bodies littered the streets of Era city as civilians scrambled in utter fear. They would remember this day forever and wether those memories ended in defeat or victory had been entirely up to the three mages confronting the harbinger of terror.

"No signs of any rifts, commander. We've checked the entire city, over." One of Aleja's subordinates spoke into her ear. The Death Dealer tapped the Lacrima device planted in the side of her head as she continued walking beside Jove and Alisa. "Copy. Help the other Knights tend to the civillians, I'll catch up soon, over."

The Vampress refocused on the task at hand. She wore virtually nothing as she quietly moved forward. A jet black leather one piece gripped her body revealing her shapely physique as wide heeled boots protected her feet. Almost as if Lex expected to be walking down a runway, a beige cowgirl hat rested upon her violet colored hair. It was a cute look, honestly.

Normally what she'd been currently sporting wasn't what the average fighter would consider "battle gear", but it was safe to say that Alex was anything but average. Jove extended his gratitude to both the ladies, to which Alisa kindly responded. "And I just got my fucking nails done." was the death dealer's response. There was no need to thank anyone though, they simply had to be here.

The Vampress kept her eyes attached to the man on top of the building. Hot and hideous at the same time. "It's always the cute ones." Evil Kazmir tore through each and every Rune Knight upon the roof of headquarters, even going as far as to disrespect the Rune Knight banner by drenching it in the blood of the fallen heroes. Rage bubbled inside of the Commander. She just couldn't stand to watch innocent people die in such a horrific manner, much less those apart of her own faction.

"Agreed." she responded to Lisa's conclusion. Immediately after Alisa spoke, Aleja equipped her first two weapons. Light wrapped around her hands as she extended her arms to the sides of her. First up; Vash's White Revolver and Knives' Black Revolver. Her babies weren't very durable but they had a monstrous range on them.

"So how do we wanna do this? I bet I can take him alone~." Aleja smirked, sparking some friendly competition. Perhaps it was the Vampiric urge to kill or her desire to crush one of these raiders to get back at Khal for kidnapping her mother but Aleja was probably more excited than she should have been. Just like the terrorizer of Era, Lex wanted blood.

A shift in the town happened. A silence was brought on by something other than the raider's presence. This time it was something more akin to a silent resolve building within the people. No more knights stood atop the building with the raider, but more reinforcements were coming from below. Faces that looked like the ones he knew from the other side. A grin tugged at the left side of his mouth. Things were starting to get interesting now. He was less thrilled by battle and more so, by how they would react.

The building was 30 meters high from the team on the ground level and 60 meters away from them. Bits of the top of the tower was toppled leaving only a 15-meter diameter space to stand upon. 'Blades and guns' he thought to himself, seeing their weapon choices. But there were few better ways he could think to start an encounter. He grabbed hold of one of the white-robed cultists with one hand and held his sword high with the other. The wind snatched the hood back revealing a scared Era citizen.

"I was hoping for a less bloody takeover. But this will do," he said as he dropped the citizen to their death. He had spent his time sneaking around Era to gather hostages.

As soon as the woman was dropped, a white magic circle would appear around Kazimir. Instantly the air all around the three would spring to life into thousands of blades of wind, ripping at anything in its path. He decided to start with one of his most powerful moves. Test the waters and get the gears turning. Perhaps it would be enough to shake their resolve, but he doubted that/ If it was one thing he learned since coming to this land. It was that they were resilient people. At least those in charge were.

If the three moved forward or attack through the tearing wind. Kaz would kick his foot forward and dash backward while rolling his fingers into a fist that had the ring on it. This would cause a quick spiral of darkness and the mage would turn invisible.

The foreign body put his sword up into the sky, whilst simultaneously dropping the person whom he held within his grasp. As the person plummeted to their death, the air around the three converged inwards, and Jove saw without needing to turn around as the wind became blades and the blades coalesced upon Aleja. Jove's usual blank expression changed ever so slightly, his lips tilting downwards to show his displeasure and distaste for what was occurring. "Shall we?" he began to move forward, scythe in hand, at a brisk walk. That seemed to be more than enough to spur the raider into action as he kicked backwards, flying off the edge of the tower and out of the sight of at least Jove.

He would continue forward, his eyes slowly scanning the upper walkway of the walls which surrounded the Rune Knight Headquarters. As the man had dashed back, he had begun to fade from Jove's sight, which brought about a level of concern. He had fought individuals who could turn themselves invisible before, though in the past his Eye was always enough to deal with them. This individual, however, had attacked from far beyond the range that Jove was capable of sensing with his magical iris, and that meant that Jove had nothing to do until (and unless) the Raider decided to make their fight close range. As Jove briskly walked forward, if left uninterrupted, he'd stop after making it ten meters in order to reassess the surroundings.

If he did that, it'd be his end.

Alisa

Well well~... Now here's somebody she hadn't seen before, her loss really. The Lithomancer nibbled her bottom lip as her she took in the new arrival, eyes washing that full figured frame, just subtly enough to admire the bewitching beauty at her side without losing focus on the enemy standing not too far away from them. Alisa chuckled and shook her head:

"I'm just glad my sister isn't here to see this...", she sighed, unsure of how Kurisa might feel about the sight of a dark version of her husband. Knowing her penchant for bad boys, she might end up with some... Rather unpleasant mixed feelings on the whole situation.

In the end, it didn't matter who these people were on their own universe. Right here on this very battlefield, they wanted nothing more than to eradicate this world to sustain their own. Just as she trusted Blue Pegasus to handle the Dark Universe version of herself back in Hargeon, Alisa would do her part even against the alter ego of her brother in law. Smiling at Aleja's words, her lips curled into a sly smile:

"Fufu~... Assuming there's anything left of him by the time I'm through~", despite the competititve banter between the two women, Alisa kept her eyes on the prize, as somebody who'd sparred against their universe's Kazimir before, and knew fully well just how dangerous he could be, especially a version of him who'd treat them all as an enemy, "If he's anything like our Kazimir, we can't defeat him by fighting from afar. We'll need to get close."

And just as she finished, a storm brewed overhead, right after the vampire discarded a hapless victim. Though Alisa had never seen that spell, her many years of experience left little doubt in her mind that an attack would soon come from above. After all, that was far more likely than a storm suddenly brewing in. As such, she instantly covered herself in a crystalline layer of armor:

"Mmmm, let's go.", she nodded as she started striding towards Kazimir alongside Jove, raising her sword, keeping her eyes sharp on the storm above, until a sudden burst of wind blades shot down, faster than she could have possibly reacted, "Look out...!!"

Eyes shooting wide he could barely respond in time as those wind blades struck down on Aleja... Alisa clicked her tongue, thankful that at least the woman was fully armored and should be able to endure the hit, all while the white haired vampire dashed away from them, turning himself invisible using is magic:

"My, turning invisible already? Our Kazimir was a far more intersting fighter than you~", she taunted as she walked closer to her foe. Even outside the range of her white eye, the cross on Alisa's back worked like a compass, constantly pointing her senses in the direction of the Vampire, allowing her to pinpoint his location enough to keep her walking in his direction despite his distance and invisibility. Speaking up to Jove as she walked beside him, she passed on their foe's location, unsure whether he had any ability to sense him from this far away, "He's still at the top of the tower. I doubt he'll leave as long as he has those hostages..."

As such, Alisa moved closer and tapped her foot on the ground just as she neared the tower... She had no hopes of saving all those people up there. But neither was she so ruthless as so simply blast everything atop the tower with an large spell. She had to get closer... As such, she tapped her foot on the ground, picking up speed as she steadily made her way up the wall, freely running up along the side, keeping a close eye on her foe with all her senses, ready to respond to any attacks.

"You think the version of me in this realm will stay as he is? You don't share that same hope where I am from dear sister." Kaz replied as he vanished from sight. If he had anything in common with the Kazmir of this timeline, it was the armor they both wore. Robes that protected them from various levels of sensory effects.

The wind collided with Aleja first, taking them out of combat. An encounter that leaned itself further on the side of the invader. Kazimir flew upwards as the 'heroes' made their way closer. It was interesting to see this version of them. They were so filled with zeal and ready to fight for goodness and hope. How all that had changed.

Alisa charged up the side of a building as fervent as ever. While the other was calculating their approach. Kaz held out both hands and conjured 8 wind blades. 4 above and to the left or Alisa and 4 above and to the right. He swung his hands inward and the blades plummeted downward toward the woman, surrounding her on all sides except below.

After the blades of wind crashed toward Alisa, the blades of wind that scoured the whole area roared to life and chose their next target. The wind ripped into the building and sent debris flying everywhere. Chunks broke off and battered the ground below.

The harsh wind blew the robes of the hostages. They covered their faces and struggled in silence.

"It'll be dangerous! You shouldn't go!", one of her servants yelled out to her as she was walking into the city from afar. Karisa knew it was going to be dangerous and there was even a chance her illness might worsen after this, but she had to at least try. The woman didn't like stepping into mortal affairs, but she heard rumors that her husband from another universe was here causing chaos. She had to find out if it was true or not. Her beautiful moon-like eyes of lilacs looked at the torn down buildings from meters away. Her eyes gazed at the sky to see dark clouds swirling above the Headquarters of the Rune Knights, the one she knew much of. She had one hand gripping onto her staff, glowing golden light from it, radiant as ever. The rain poured every-so-slightly as it was enough to land against anything and slide down whatever it hit.

Her black dress was different, it felt a little tight, but thankfully it covered all that was necessary. "Go take care of the children, Madeline," Karisa reported softly in her breathy accent. The servant was hesitant but disappeared with one last look. She had her arms semi-spread out as she ran forward towards the headquarters, watching out for any debris that decided to head her way. "Are you really going to take her offer?..." Eris replied with a dark chuckle. She glared at this statement as she stayed hidden, away from the sight of the sky for now as she had a plan of her own. First, she wanted to get closer to see him. To see her "Dark Universe version" of her lover, the Time Goddess will forbid him from destroying 'her' Earth Realm. "Even if my body gets weaker because of using your power, I will forbid this to happen while I stand here as a 'human'," she spoke quietly to Eris. Now, it was time to stay silent with her steps as she creeps forward with her gear on. She'll get there soon enough.

Alisa

Seeing two more spells fired her way, Alisa had to wonder just how much this evil version of Kazimir resembled the one from their universe... Back when they fought, he relied extensively on the high manouverability of his spells, which could chase you down across an entire battlefield.

"Perhaps~... Maybe that's why she turned out, well... Like that", she spoke, the contempt palpable in her voice as she thought back to the version of herself who no longer cared about anybody else around her save for her own ravenous self satisfaction.

Indeed... Alisa could tell her eye wouldn't help her singling out his position, but she could still sense his spells with keen accuracy, and well... Thanks to the stormy weather he just brewed forth with his spell, furious gales buffeting them left and right as heavy rains poured down overhead... She could still somewhat make out his position. Though the fact that he had all those hostages around him... Alisa clicked her teeth as she made her way up. Won't be easy to separate him from his human shields. As she saw the magic circles hovering all around her, the sculptress smirked:

"My, my, how awfully hasty~... How about you take a breath hmmm~?", seeing his myriad blades of wind being cast around her, coupled with her foe's invisibility and very obvious flight, Alisa simply rose her idle hand up into the air, a massive Blue Pegasus guild sign appearing beneath her feet as a pulse of magic shot forth, nullifying every single sustained spell from her opponent, his wind blades, his flight and invisibility, and most importantly... What remained of his bursts of wind coming down from the sky, preventing them from targeting her.

No longer would they have anything to fear from the stormy skies overhead. With the way now clear as Alisa finally made her way to the top of the tower, she'd stretch her hand and out and shoot forth a pure white crystalline chain, ready to shoot forth and snare Kazimir just as his flight spell disappeared, leaving him to plummet down below. With her foe a mere 20 meters away from her as she shot the chain forwards, it would close the distance between them and wrap around his nearest limb, upon which, she'd clench her fist, and cast her Vajradeha spell, instantly crystallizing a good portion of his body.

Kaz the Malevolent
Kaz hovered above, ready to see what all their reactions would be. Two of the mages held their positions. One was assaulted by the winds and the other contemplated scaling the building. Alisa, gave no such restraint as she charged forward. His attacks raged toward her. Knowing how much power the woman could possess, he wasn't worried that this series of attacks would be something she could shrug off. "She turned out pretty well. Perhaps your path will be different though...I hope so," he let those last words linger with intrigue. Not that he wanted her to turn out differently than the Lisa of his world. More so that he was interested in just how different the worlds could be from each other. He then looked past her to see the woman he dropped to her death. She laid on the ground cold and alone. All the power of mages that were around and yet not one of them. "And yet...maybe you are on the same path," he said.

Then...he saw it...one of the famous spells among the guilds. A staple of the Blue Pegasus mages as their symbol appeared over Alisa. The winds calmed, and the blades dissipated. His body slowly became visible once more. "So soon? Well, that puts a damper on things," he spoke stoically as he descended to the ground. "You've been one of the few to see beyond the veil. And yet you still bother with all this."

He didn't expect to see that spell again. Alisa continued upward and as Kaz first began his fall he wrapped himself in wind that protected his body. Alisa's chain reached out to him but instead of dodging, he trusted his hand away from the woman and toward the hostages. A cone of wind ripped through the building and burst it into two. The side with the hostages toppled off the side and they began their plummet to the ground below.

The chain wrapped around him but did nothing to slow him down or bind him. But the blast of ice followed and rippled across the barrier of wind that enveloped him.

"Well, Alisa...what now," he said taking a step back and pulling out a pen to swipe it in front of himself. A large blot of ink splashes forward and the beast leaps forth from it. It stands snarling in front of the caster and glaring at Alisa. Ink drips from its body.  Kaz begins to circle the remaining portion of the roof.

Instead of raging storms up above, they had the screams of the innocent as they fell to their death. Kaz stood ready to see what the Blue Pegasus mage's next move was. His footsteps activated his ability to feel the wind around him, knowing that she may charge in for an attack at any moment.

Time travel, some odd phenomenon, call it what you will, but Karisa literally just got done seeing this version of Kazi. That's how it felt like as she continued on her way through the city, unseen as she finally reached the destination of how far she can go between everyone. Her eyes looked over to see that Alisa and some other guy was here. Kazi was there now as well. She hated all these buildings in her way. She couldn't see exactly where everyone was specifically. All she saw in those final moments was someone falling off the building, a citizen no less. She knew she couldn't make it to save them, but she can try to save the others...

"It's time to... Welcome you to my Realm," she spoke clearly as the whole scenario started to shatter into millions of pieces. The world started to go upside down, taking Kazi, Alisa and 'Jove' with her. No buildings were left standing, nor any citizens existed in her world. The world was filled with white spider lilies that turn red when impure. Where Kazi stood was red. Just like in the real world, it was raining hard here as they hit the flowers, quenching their thirst. The reason she knew it was Kazi? It was obvious, wasn't it? There she stood 35 meters away from them. Her lilac eyes looked at them as she held onto her staff that was illuminated in light. Her lilac hair blew soft wind as she couldn't believe he was here sacrificing people after their night. Maybe he really didn't expect her to be here of all people and places.

"Kazi...," she was prepared for anything as she pointed her staff at him or at least where she assumed he stood due to where the red flowers were.

"What, you come all this way, and don't even want to show yourself. Awfully rude of you, Kaz~", she teased, letting out a low, melodious chuckle as she finally forced the wind mage back onto the ground, with the chain mere instants away from coiling around him. Indeed, she herself could see through him, Jove too considering he posessed the right eye to Alisa's left. However, "This time, it's hardly just about you and me anymore."

Indeed, Alisa could already note differences between this version of Kazimir and the one from their world. Though they shared many of the same spells, during that one time they fought, Kazimir had been exceedingly careful not to risk taking damage. Their Dark Universe counterparts posessed raw power exceeding their own, so perhaps he simply didn't feel a need to? The result of this was as soon as Alisa's chain wrapped around him, the crystallizing spell soon radiated outwards, clashing with his body armor, seriously damaging it, but not quite breaking through it yet.

"Tch...", She'd never forget the colossal pain of getting through Kazimir's wind spells. Even with her partial light element diminishing the weakness, at the level of spells they were firing, she could defenitely feel the difference.

However, instead of retaliating, the vampire instead took aim at the very tower they stood on, shooting his spell towards the side of the building. Her breath hitched as she clearly saw the trajectory of the spell, and it was all she could do to cross now idle arm over her face, conjuring a massive diamond barrier right in front of the building. She hadn't been close enough to save that woman from so far away, but this time... This time it was different. Instead of severing the building in half and letting the hapless citizens plunge to an untimely death, it smashed into her diamond barrier with a resonating shatter, and Alisa knew that even if the spell broke through her barrier, whatever leftover force remained wouldn't pack enough punch to destroy the tower:

"Your aim is quite off, brother... You're fighting me.", Alisa taunted, tapping her foot and producing magic circle underneath the midair Kazimir, just as her sister reached close enough, making Alisa's eyes flare as the entire scenery changed all around them.

And now they had backup, and a setting far more favorable for mages like herself who lacked Kazimir's potent evasive capabilities. Perhaps Jove fell in the same category as herself, and Kurisa certainly did:

"Welll... You're a sight for sore eyes Kari~", she greeted her sister, shooting her a teasing little wink, appreciating her intervention far more than she let on. She didn't know how well she could fight an opponent as strong as Kazimir, let alone his ruthless dark universe version, while being concerned about people other than herself.

Before the blast could happen, she arrived...Kari. The world shifted around them and a small grin crept upon the dark raider's face. They stood now in a field of flowers. The wind never reached out to disrupt those people as the world shifted before it could.

The wind mage broke away from the shackles that bound him and dashed backward to get some distance, only a few meters. He let his feet drop softly onto the flowers. An amusing thought pulsed in his mind. "Only a test dear sister. Nothing more," Kaz smiled and stepped a few feet to the right.

His gaze fell upon the woman that he had loved in his life and this one. To see those two sisters together. Two of the strongest mages in the land to confront him. "What an interesting story this is turning out to be. Don't you think," he eyes the staff that now pointed at him. A light wind still swirled around him creating a defensive barrier. And now it was only just a matter of how this would all turn out. So far...everything was going even better to plan than he could have expected. A small laugh escaped his lips, barely audible to those around him.

He swiped his sword to the side with a flourish, ready for the next clash. "Sorry, Karisa. Even though I still like hearing my name come from you. There is work to be done, my love."

His grip tightened around the handle of his blade, the fang of the white tiger he served in this world and his own. A beast able to transcend the bounds of realms. "People have not always understood the real purpose of my magic. But we are getting closer." He rose his hand toward the two of them and slide his right foot backward. He almost couldn't feel the wind here, but there was still the slightest ripple through the air. It filled his lungs like the roaring tiger that had gifted him.

The blood of the seraphim pumped through his cells that he had feasted on oh so long ago. "The real threat to your world is still growing, right here." His left hand swiped the air conjuring blades of wind from above and swiping downward at the two women. All the while he stood fifteen meters away from them. His mind juggled the thoughts of his plan unfolding while they danced with each other in here.

Just what sort of tactic would they use now? "Are you even sure why we came here in the first place?"

Kaz the Malevolent
OOC Jove and Aleja Have been defeated due to time limit pass.

The field had opened wide and sucked in the combatants. A field of flowers and dreams that encased around them. Protected the people from the chaos of their battle. The damage had already been done to some of the combatants though. The wind had already taken life force from some of the combatants leaving them battered by the winds. Little did his current enemies know, that while they spend time in here, out there people were being surrounded by the enemies that had come out of nowhere to assault the people. But the wind mage had no time to waste in a field of flowery dreams. No matter how many memories he had spent in a place like this with the Kuri of his time. Today was about something much more than sweet memories. And no matter the feelings he had...there was a mission to be done.

Just like the Kaz of this time, he still bore the eye of the angel. One long since defeated and its power now bestowed upon the wind user. He stood ready to unleash its power when the time was right. Jove and Aleja had entered the fray in the beginning but weren't able to fully make it to the wind mage in time. Not before they were taken by the torrents of the storm. Enemies that were valiant in their effort but left the city less defended than before. Deaths would hang on their heads and Kazimir could smile at the thought of his dark game and the gamble of fate shinning briefly on his side.

He could almost feel the hopes of the people beginning to wane outside. Knowing that their time was coming...that no matter the outcome their lives would be changed forever by the sheer presence of the raiders. But more than that...he sought to strike at the belief in the people. The pillars of what they felt protected them. The flowers squashed beneath the cold boots of the raider. A grim reminder of the countless lives he had already taken and snuffed out just as easily. And on the other side of this field of flowers was...

The group hadn't answered his questions yet. And before they could he looked at the flower bed forming around his feet and the angelic eye sprang to life. The dimension was shattered and cast apart. The city revealed itself as under attack from a militant force serving the dark universe raider. He looked out to see Jove and Aleja. Everything had happened so fast, nearly back to back and they were still continuing onward. The wind mage rose his hand high and winds roared to life around the battlefield. The two warriors were ravaged by the torrent of wind. Their bodies lofted into the air and swirled around. The impact was enough to batter them and deprive the very air they needed to breathe.

The tornado ripped the tops of buildings and scattered debris into the streets. Trees cracked under the force. Windows shattered and muffled the horrified screams of the citizens. The dark winds swept toward the heavens like a beacon of hate looming above the city. The rune knights staggered back horrified as the light mages were taken. Stumped by their inability to act and take initiative. Waves of pain and panic washed over the rune knight building as the whirlwind rushed higher. The cobblestoned streets rattled as the skies parted taking the light mages up and away. With that, the two heroes were thrown unconscious from the fight.

Kaz the Malevolent
The winds had tossed and toiled the land and the grand expanse of Karisa's dimension had collapsed. One by one the mystical land rolled apart. Its flowers scattered. The lush green expanse was cast away. Era's gritty and clandestine buildings pushed through the realm's cracks. Windows and doors burst through the earth. Streets sprang up between fields of flowers that shattered into particles of color. The skies shifted from a beautiful hue to the seemingly drab color that hung wearily over the battle-ridden bastion of defense that was the rune knights' headquarters. The two realms' colors faded together, casting earth and starlight motifs across the buildings before the gray cement took over like a flood of neutrality. It was saddening to see it go. The tremendous open fields that were presumed to give them an advantage being away from the tall buildings. The peace they would have had away from the citizens so spells could flash freely around them.

Now they were back in the regular realm. No fancy frills. All that was there was the atmosphere of pain that lingered. Kazimir's feet landed back onto the top of the building that they had left from. The winds swelled around him. The tornado had swept away the other guild mages that had come to stand in his way. Thay had come to put an end to the oppression that was befalling Era. And now they were out of the picture. His eye turned toward the woman that he loved in this time and his own. She stood ready as ever to do better, but there was a moment of hesitation. A lag in her reaction for what could have been a number of reasons. Perhaps she already knew how all this was going to turn out. She could, after all, see into the future. Control time in many facets. But today wasn't something he could yield so easily, for it would leave to haunt those for years to come.

His hand rose in a simple motion and his palm pointed toward Kari. His ability to traverse the dimensions had given him a power he never thought was possible. His hand was riddled with the wind. The storm still raged behind them that had ripped into the town. His boots dug into the cold cement of the rooftop. The clothes that rapped over his body billowed in his own wind. The fabric that hung down toward his ankles flapped faster. The roar of the White tiger celestial spirit was in his heart. He could hear the thrills of the beast's roar echo in his mind and reverberate through his soul. This was what he came for, but part of it pained him to see Kari like this, from a time when she was bound together by a more innocent will. The wind suddenly picked up behind her and focused on her body. It pulled everything like a vacuum closer and closer to itself. Debris and rubble were flung from the ground and sucked into the vacuum of wind. The force would make it harder and harder to breathe as anyone was pulled closer to its center. The mystical force was almost supernatural in origin. Small chunks of the roof broke loose and spiraled into the funnel. Kazimir smiled through the chaos, knowing that it would take her but not cause any lasting harm to her.

Her body left the ground as the funnel drug her in. She resisted but the force kept tugging at her until it yanked her free from the earth and spiraled into the wind-swept void. Her body was bounced around between violent outbursts and squalls of wind. One of the mage's more dangerous spells. The force yanked her through the tunnel of wind and heaved her out into the skies dozens of meters away. Her body whipped through the air as she slipped into unconsciousness, no longer able to resist the force, but she held out against it longer than most people ever would have. Her body dropped out of the battle leaving only the brazen woman from before. The final attacker left against the wind mage.

The funnel of wind eased its wrath and subsided, now that its mission was done. He would miss her already if he wasn't in the midst of battle still. Her lasting presence was a welcome one even if she had stood against him. The wind vanished and the citizens hid even more than before. The wind had come in all directions and there was no doubt that they would look at the Kazimir from this timeline differently as well, knowing the pain that he could potentially cause. But none of that was a matter for the mage, at least not for now. It was something that would benefit him in the long run.

For now, Alisa was the one that remained. They stood. Kaz slowly circled the roof, seeing what their action was going to be if any. Perhaps they could have shared a small chat in the past but nothing like that would be possible now. They stood too opposed to one another. But where she had stopped him before, perhaps now, he could apply some of that same pressure. There was no otherworldly dimension to get in his way or save the citizens this time. Invasion forces poured into the city with weapons drawn and slashing at the citizens and guards. Madness filled the streets as Kaz locked his attention on the demon slayer. The building they were on and a few next to them began to crumble from all the winds smashing into them. large chunks and blocks toppled off and threatened the people below. But this time would their lives amount to anything? Would they be saved by a hero, or left to perish for the greater good or whatever cause justified it?

He could feel the disconnect pulsing. The intrusive thoughts of abandonment that may be forming in the minds of the people now. "Your people and realm suffer Alisa? What do you plan to do about that?" He asked and rose his hands to the side with open arms.

"It can all end if you just allow me to take this city. No more screams of pain. No more torn-apart buildings and lives. If your kings are anything like ours, they have a bloody history. You've seen how strong my comrades and I are from the other realm. I can bring stability to this town like it has never seen. They need only to obey." he said thinking about the end of the battle. It would be a simple thing to spare their lives and just live under his rule. But maybe the pride of this land was to high to ever consider something as radical as that.

Alisa

Karisa was a godsend. Alisa didn't even know her sister had that kind of ability, and seeing it firsthand made her eyes flare, taking in that vibrant view of the flower petals all around her. It took a measure of mental fortitude not to get distracted by the sight before her and focus on the battle at hand.

"Why, aren't you glad? At least you get to see something beautiful rather than that dreary mess you call a world.", she sneered, feeling a smidge of delight in finally having a beautiful sight to wage battle in, as ironic as it felt... But for somebody who regarded her own magic as beautiful, "We're here so we can give you our full attention, Kazimir, without anybody else in the way~"

Or, that was the plan at least, though even that trump card was short lived. Alisa could only raise her arms in a guard as the wind blades came for herself and Kurisa, chipping her armor for a fair chunk of damage, while hitting Kurisa square head on:

"Ghhhh...!! Karisa!!", Alisa cried out as she saw her sister getting hit head on without even a semblance of protection the way Alisa herself did. Everything happened in a split second. That same power of his eyes swiftly dispelled her sister's dimension, leaving everything just as they had left it. The same dark, dreary sight of furious winds and cries of people caught out in the madness, "My my, is this anyway to treat your own wife?"

Though fuming, brow twitching at the sight of what he'd done to her... Alisa took a deep breath. She couldn't win against an enemy like this if she lost her composure for even one second. Her chest heaved as the ferocious wind storm whipped against her tone, sculptred shape as she held her ground, toes digging in the unstable tower, still visibly damaged from all the attacks unleashed against it thus far.

"Fufu~... You have an awfully one dimensional view of what it means to rule. It's more that simply individual power. Power gained from terror and brutality never lasts long.", she furrowed her brow, result as she rose her sword, hearing the rowdy, bloodthirsty cries of savage soldiers pouring into the streets.

Alisa clenched her fist. As much as she wanted nothing more than to keep firing her spells at him. She couldn't now. With the invaders pouring in from every street, they made headway to where they found the most civilians they could find. Only then did that perpetual faint smile finally faded. She'd heard of the savagery of these people... But seeing it first hand left her grinding her teeth:

"Tch... You won't get away with this. Nor will you ever rule over this city, or even the slightest speck of dust in Earthland.", and with these words that sounded more like an admission of her own defeat than anything else, Alisa grew a pair of crystalline wings and flew off, glaring back over her shoulder, "Mark my words Kazimir: Earthland will win."

She didn't have enough strenght to beat him all on her own, and even if she could have found a way to do so... She couldn't stop him from unleashing his wrath on everybody else in the vicinity. Kicking her foot against the crumbling tower, she produced a pair of crystalline wings and turned towards the invading army:

"Vajradhātu!!!", targeting the area where the citizens had hoped to find some protection from the debris, she unleashed one of her most powerful spells, crystallizing the unstable buildings in place.

The crystal wouldn't last very long under this barrage of magic, but even if Kazimir destroyed the area with his wind spells, all the crystal would simply crumble into simple grains, the falling debris replaced with harmless diamond dust, leaving her free to swoop down and intercept the invaders:

"Go, run that way!!", she cried out as she landed sword first on the nearest one of the invaders, cutting off the enemy's advance and quickly dispatching the few closest to the citizens. She couldn't save everyone in a city as big as Era... But she could at least save the people closest to her. And if Kazimir came for them she could at least hold him off for a long time.

Kaz the Malevolent
The love of his life was gone now and only one remained left. The people still cried out in pain around him. The citizens of the city suffered from the assaults. The winds ravaged the fragile homes. Even the sturdy layers of brick on the rune knight headquarters buckled from being ground zero of the attack. The wind mage disliked such shows of aggression. He preferred to remain in the silence of it all. Hidden and waiting for his time to strike from the shadows and manipulate the course of action from behind the scenes.

But it was times like these that it was needed to have a show of force. Especially against the caliber of mages that had come out against him. Their skills had been impressive. Just as he remembers their gifts from his own realm. Some minor differences but the power was there. The potential to become just as they were. Dark Raiders of another realm.

For a brief moment, the winds died down as if they were in the eye of a hurricane. Silence covered the area. The final moments were upon them now. He stood toe to toe with his sister-in-law. One of the strongest mages in all of Fiore. The same as the realm he had come from. But she stood alone now. Her allies cast out into the wind, silenced beneath the heavy buffeting of the toiling storms.

Rain drizzled the concrete roof they stood upon. Drop by drop it clattered the ground harder and harder as the downpour began. The moisture rolled off the wind mage's sleeves and slid down his platinum hair. He could see the flashes of them training together in his own timeline, but they did little to prepare one another for the raid. Most of them acted independently.

He hadn't even done training with his own Kari. He didn't expect to encounter her though. Assuming she would have faced off with herself. The wind mage slid his foot back. The water pooled around the outside of his heel. His boot scrapped the ground as he drug across. The leather creaked. His coat fluttered from the gusts of wind. The final storm was brewing around him. The wind of oppression howled. Its penetrating sound echoed all along the battlefield. Rune knights tried to push their way up the stairs and onto the roof, but the rushing winds held them back. They shielded their eyes as they pressed against the solid wall of wind. The door slammed against them. Their bodies barely shoved it an inch at a time before being thrust back shut.

"This is it, dear sister. I had not expected things to go this way. Or for it to just be the two of us at the end. My blood was meant to be spilled on this day. But perhaps, we'll see how that turns out another time." He rose his left hand. his right hand still held the blade made of wind and celestial energy. Winds swirled and coalesced around his body and concentrated into his hand.

He didn't say anything as Alisa replied. Her words felt... empty. half-smile gleaned his face. The winds collided in his hand. All went calm once more, before erupting forth into the heavens. "I'll see you soon," his smile did not fade, knowing the true plan that he had put forth here. The gears he set in motion. Era was only a stop along the way. A playful distraction to the greater cause. The seed that he was able to plant. One that would be watered by the events happening here today. A part of him wished he could stick around to see it. But the knowledge will have to be enough this day. Nothing more could be done about it, for now.

The winds smashed into the sky and sent a dark storm to cover the city. Dozens of tornadoes crashed down across the city around them. Alisa looked out horrified by the catastrophe. At that moment her battle with the wind mage ceased to be important. "One dimensional? Do these people need anything more? They already live one-dimensional lives bouncing between home and work. The only ones it won't work for...are the so-called strong warriors. The mages and fighters of this world. The guild members whose very strength makes them unwanting to be ruled over. For their freedoms to be diminished. And it is that very hunt for personal freedoms that cause the pain to citizens."

Alisa took off to help those that were in danger. Kaz lowered his hand as the damage continued to rage onward. "Alisa...I've already taken it. But you are right. This rule won't last. I have other plans."

A joyous sight for him to behold. The last of the mages that stood against him, taken away leaving him to stand atop the tower. The winds of this land yielded to him. Respected his right to wield their magic. The same celestial spirit that this realm's Kaz served appeared behind him now. An evil version of Kazmir still bound to the same celestial being. The white tiger roared into the sky. Its only hunger was destruction. A temperament this realm's Kazimir tried to tame while the other cultivated.

He gazed out to see his love in the far-off distance unconscious outside the northern gate. On the other side of the city were Jove and Aleja, knocked out by the western gate. Between them, all was an army of rune knights. A mix between the dead and those that clung to life. They helped one another while others sat against walls, holding their last breath in suspended fear.

The town was nearly his now. The first wave of defenders had been pushed back. They were all unconscious on the edges of the battlefield or retreated. The wind mage hovered over the city. Fear wafted through the streets, carried on the wind that blew through the town. A dark gust that heard the pleas for help, but no answer would come to them. The wind mage descended and the ranks of knights continued to pour forth. Kazimir swung his sword. A long and slender blade of wind outstretched from his weapon, seemingly increasing the length of the sword itself. He slashed forward and the thin blade sprang from his weapon and cleaved the top of the building. The last flag of the rune knights was cut off and floated down to the ground below. Part of the banner covered the body of the young woman that he had thrown from the rooftop earlier. The first statement he had made. Numerous knights and guild mages...and not one of them had even tried to save that woman. That was the true ending...he had accomplished part of his goal with that act. All the power that had converged against him...and she couldn't make it. He looked at the remaining prisoners he had that were saved by Karisa and Alisa. He rose his hand, "You will live on in their minds," the wind mage muttered and a rage of wind took their life. Now even that simple attempt to save that small group was undone. The wind mage looked out at the destruction and the knights that still tried to help the people. He waved his hand and the forces he had brought pulled back.

He watched Alisa rush out into the streets to face the hordes of enemies At least she was saving their lives, unlike the rest. The tornadoes still tore through the town and twisted to wreck the lives of the people. "hmm." He softly spoke to himself. She was a powerful mage and it was a tactile retreat. Unfortunate that she found herself alone on the battlefield. But Kazimir looked around knowing his speed could well take him around the city and back with a wave of destruction. instead, he let his hands rest while the tornadoes continued their work. His goal was finished enough for now. The people's faith would be left shaken.

The wind mage rose into the air and in a swirl of wind, he vanished. Unseen...his presence could still be felt throughout Era. The conqueror behind the scenes. His plan for now...was complete.

Party has been defeated. Alisa has escaped to save citizens.
The Raid is complete
