Yuurei

Yuurei had finally gotten Marin to give you the time of day to talk about the situation with the Cultist. Yuurei and Renji were on their way to his office. It would seem like he had finally received the word from Inspector Nilan. That was good because they had to stop the cult members from doing whatever they were planning on doing. He had wondered why this man took so long to get them to go to him, but he figured it was to see if he could trust them. He was fine with that, and he would make it to the headquarters.

He would enter the place and he would tell the person at the front desk why he was there. They would nod and explain to him where to go. Yuurei would head straight there with Renji next to him. When they got there, they would knock on the door and wait for an answer.

It wouldn’t take long for Marin would tell them to come in, and this would bring the duo to enter the place. He would speak to them, and he would ask them to bring him up to date with everything that had happened. He would talk to him about the weird tree that had been planted in the middle of Orchidia and then how they tracked it to the woods. He had spoken about how it had people put in comas and how it even made the wildlife go crazy. In the end, he would talk to him about how they found a place from the guy they had caught, and it was why they had found out what the cultist was doing. He had shown him the outfit that would allow him to sneak in it as well.

Marin would hear all of this, and he was surprised that they had done a lot so far. Still, they were almost done, and he needed Yuurei to be the one to do it.

Marin would get up from his seat as he was thinking about what to do. It was then that he would look at Yuurei with a serious look on his face.

“You are going to go and investigate. You will sneak into the cult using that robe, and you’re going to find out what their leader is up to. When you find out what they’re doing then you will stop them and make sure they cannot proceed further into the plan.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this and when he understood what he would do, the two of them would start planning on what he was going to do and mapping the best strategy they could make. Once they were done it was time to start the plan. Yuurei would take the robe he had found, and he would put it on, and then he would put the hood on him. Once he was done with that, he would open the door to Marin’s office, and it would get him to a nearby place within Era.

Yuurei would look around as he would see that he was in the clear and he would head to where the meeting would take place. The Nephilim would have Renji on his shoulder as he didn’t want him to slow them down. The two of them would move through the city as there were people who looked at them. They wanted to call the Rune Knights, but they didn’t do anything bad. Yuurei would move too quickly for anybody to catch up to him, so it didn’t matter.

He would dip into the alleys though as he didn’t want to get in trouble. He would find himself at the meeting location, and when he got there, he would see a bunch of people together. He would have a smirk on his face as this was the cult he was looking for. He had also remembered they were the ones doing a ritual outside in the woods the other day.

Yuurei would move around as he was waiting for someone to spill the beans. He would stay quiet as he kept moving around the place. There were a few of them chatting, but none of them had spoken about anything he might need information for. While he was moving around, he would come to a stop. He would hear a group talking about summoning a demon. This was interesting because this was not something he expected. Still, he had fought a god before, and he wasn’t going to let a demon show up in this realm. There was one stuck in Dahlia, but he was able to get rid of it by sending it back to its realm. Still, that one was basically Kaito, and he couldn’t really take the credit for that one.

The Nephilim would hear this and he wanted to know more about what to do. It wouldn’t take long, but he heard their symbols needed to be perfect for this to work.

Yuurei would make his way to a spot on the symbol, and the cult members would start chanting as they were using their blood to make a marking on the symbol. He would look over at them and he would start scrubbing the floor to show them that this wasn’t going to be happening. When they saw this, they noticed that he was an imposter.

An uproar would occur amongst them as they would all look at him. He would shake his head as he would take off the robe, and Renji would open his bag. He was ready to fight these guys and if he could stop this from happening once and for all. They would start charging at him all at once, and he would start moving around them, and he would start taking them out one by one. He would have them fall to the ground, but they kept coming after him.

Yuurei would see this, and he would shake his head because they were resilient in what they believed in. They weren’t going to allow him to fully ruin this, so they gave their leader time to escape. He would be able to do that without a problem, but Yuurei didn’t care. He was kicking their asses as he wasn’t going to kill them. The berserker moved throughout the battlefield without hesitation. They didn’t scare him and honestly, when they saw him remove the robe, they were shocked. They knew who he was and were surprised that he was in the middle of all of it. Still, he had to be careful the next time he dealt with them.

It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would knock them all to the ground as they were moaning and groaning. He would look around because the leader of the cult had truly run away from the scene of the crime. He would sigh and look at the cultist on the ground as he was thinking about which one, he would take with him.

Yuurei would move around the field of hurt cultists, and he would rub his chin. It wouldn’t take long, but he would grab one of them and he would put him on his shoulder. The others didn’t care if they had gotten back on their feet. The Nephilim would walk out of the area he was in, and he wondered what the cult leader would try to do now. He had ruined their plan, but was he going to try again? He wasn’t sure and he hoped that he wouldn’t.

He would move through the city with the man on his shoulder. The people that saw this, thought that Yuurei had caught the man who was walking around earlier. They were wearing the same type of robe. Still, they didn’t know it was him earlier. He would make his way to Marin, and he would put the unconscious cultist on the chair. Marin would applaud him for getting the job done, and he would shake his head at the cultist.

He would take out a bag of jewels and he would hand it over to Yuurei. The Nephilim would take the jewels and he would bow slightly to the man before he left the building with Renji.
