Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji had decided that they were going to help Gaud again. He had told them about a cursed child that needed their help. It seemed like their magic was out of control and they needed to be captured, so they would hurt the people from Era. The Nephilim was fine with that, and he decided to accept the job. Gaud would hand him the location of where the child could be found. He was hoping that the child wouldn’t be a problem. Still, there was only one way to find out and it was to find them.

Renji stood on Yuurei’s shoulder for this one as he would keep an eye out for them. The two would travel to the exit of the city as the cursed child wasn’t in there. Their travel was smooth as they had to only wave at a small number of people. Now that they had made it out of the city, they were on their way to see if they could find the child.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would move through the open fields and while doing that, they would see that there was an abandoned orphanage out there. It was confusing that there was something like that here. Why wouldn’t they have an orphanage inside of Era? Or maybe they closed it down and made one for children inside? He wasn’t sure, but it would seem like this was the place that they had to go to. They would walk to the spot and when they got there, they would feel the magical infection and death around the place. It was a bit confusing to be honest how something like this had happened here, but they had a job to do.

He wondered why a child would still be around this place, but he was going to find out soon enough. He made sure that nobody was around the building before he decided to go in. He had a feeling something bad was going to happen.

Yuurei

Yuurei would enter the orphanage as he was keeping his eyes on the lookout for the child. He would move around the place, and he would see a bunch of things broken and scattered around the place. He figured that they left in a hurry and this place had become dangerous. He kept looking to see where he needed to go, and he found something that would lead him to go upstairs. He wouldn’t hesitate as he would move up the stairs and he was hoping that nothing spooky would jump at him.

The magic around here was potent, but not enough to affect him. He would keep moving and when he got to the top and the next floor. When he got there, he would see that there was a door open at the end of the hallways. Yuurei would start making his way to the room and once he got there, he would see he was going in the right direction.

Yuurei

Yuurei would enter the room and he would look around he would see a little girl by end of the row. She was sitting down on a chair, and she wasn’t doing anything right now. He would start moving to her as he was going to try and help her. When he did this the girl would stare right at him and he could see that her eyes were all black. His eyes widen as he wasn’t expecting this, but he would prepare himself. It wouldn’t take long, but dark magic would start appearing everywhere and would attack Yuurei.

Renji saw this and he would open his bag and Yuurei’s equipment would appear on him. He would start punching the magic with his left arm as he was nullifying them as he would make his way to her. He shook his head because he didn’t expect this to happen. Yuurei wondered what was going on with this person and felt like the orphanage had something to do with them being on a rampage.

Yuurei would make his way to the girl, and he would look at her as if she was just sitting there and constantly attacking him. The Nephilim had a lot of mana to spend, so he was constantly stopping the magic from hitting him. He would look at her as he was trying to persuade her to stop. Of course, it would be for nothing, and he knew what he had to do. He would shake his head and he would chop the girl on her neck gently. He would do this, so she would be knocked out, and her magic would stop being out of control. He would see the girl hit the table as she was already sitting down.

He would pick her up from the seat and he would put the little girl on his other shoulder. He would look around the place and shake his head as he started walking out of the place.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would make their way back into Era City and were now making their way to Gaud. He was at a bar within the city, and that was where they were going. When they got there, they would look at Gaud and they would show them the girl. It wouldn’t take long, but Gaud would bring Rune Knights here as they would take the girl from Yuurei. He would look at the man as he was waiting to get paid. The man would take a bag of jewels and he would hand it to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would take the jewels without a problem, and he would make sure that it was the rewards promised to him. When he knew he was good, he would smile at him, and he would look around. When he felt like everything was okay, Yuurei and Renji would leave this place and be on their way to take on their next job in Era
