He walks along the river and he wonders why they have had zero luck and the woman he had met in rush valley had been no help she had only really threatened him and made him feel like his life had so much less meaning then he thought he had with it.

After having his world shaken up by finding out Kaito was his brother and the woman he was raised to kill was most likely his own grandmother, he has felt like he has lost his path in life and he wonders if it is really okay to even still be trying to be a mage. At this point he has no purpose, his home was gone, he has no light in the darkness he is just lost to the echo of the empty void and that is what bothers him the most.

He doesn't feel useful and he has really no allies to even to call on in this time in which he needs someone, he just feels like everything he is doing has no real worth and he is just a failed berserker and a failed man and that he failed his last guild by not being able to save it and he has no where to really go though he has his family somewhere safe for the time. He is starting to believe this monster hunter guild was just a rumor.

Yuurei had a conversation with Khalfani. This conversation had brought him to wonder how he was going to strengthen their guild. It made him worry, but at the same time, he knew that he would have to recruit or find others who found similar goals for Paradise Dawn. How was he going to do that though? The Nephilim were going to have to find random mages who had the talent to become stronger.

He knew that Sleeping Calamity was a guild that was around these parts but to be honest he wasn’t scared. The berserker was in Orchidia, and to be specific he found himself at the river. This place was beautiful the last time he had come here. If it weren’t for the spirits last time, he would have tried to enjoy his time here.

Yuurei was by the river with his shoes off his feet. His pants were rolled up and he was enjoying the nice cool feeling. He was looking into the river as he could see the fish moving around him. Renji was on his lap as he was enjoying his time resting for the time being.

“How do I find new people to join Paradise Dawn?” He asked the cat whose eyes were closed.

“I don’t know you would have to sense their magic right, or you would just have to go around asking everyone if they want to join Paradise Dawn.” He shrugged as he closed his eyes as he allowed Yuurei to be lazy with his time.

He keeps his eyes into the river and he releases a blast of gilded black lightning, it hits the ground with a crack he is getting frustrated at himself and he doesn't know what to do from here and this place is just oozing with strange energy from the people and he feels maybe he made a mistake of coming up here and this place might just be a dud of an area. He calms his head so he doesn't lose his hand and he starts walking off. He felt he wasted his time and his energy being here and having found nothing and no one of any real use to him or help, it was a wasted trip.

He walks past the trees near the river his six foot frame not really stopping to smell the flowers he figures this was it, it was time to just leave and maybe go joining Fairy tail the guild his brother had belonged too for years, but he doubted that it would be as fun as being free in a neutral guild where he could do what ever he wanted to do if one day he wanted to do good he could if he wanted to do a bit of bad he could dabble in it but only guild he found up here was a dark guild that he ignored. So now he is just gonna head out of the north and maybe head back to the east to join them there.

Yuurei

Yuurei would take his feet out of the water as he would do his best to dry them off. He figured a good walk around would be good for him. It was just that, but he figured it would keep Renji in shape. His friend had gotten a little lazy as he was always on his shoulder. It wasn’t just that but eating and doing nothing would do that to anybody.

When he was about to get up, he would see a man walking by the riverside. It looked like he was lost at least mentally that is. The berserker looked at me for a few seconds. He didn’t get up from his spot but kept his feet out of the water. He examined him and felt like there was something about him that was familiar, but he couldn’t put a finger on it.

“Hey are you okay?! You look like you need a friend?!” He asked him curious to see how he would react to Yuurei.

Upon hearing the mans voice he turns and his golden colored eyes landed on the other man he looked slightly like Kaito in the face but he has golden eyes and black hair and his ears are pointed because he is a half elf unlike his twin brother who is fully human, he also doesn't have an adorable companion that makes taking to him more enjoyable to do. "I don't know about needing a friend I am up here in search of a rumored guild I had heard about that hunts monsters and so on but I haven't found it anywhere, do you know of it?" He starts walking toward the man wondering if this is a trap or if this is just another waste of his time like speaking to that woman in rush valley was, cause he got left with nothing and nothing ever come of any of the leads he had been following up until he got to this area but he doesn't feel anymore close to his goal then when he started wandering around here in the north.

Yuurei would chuckle when he heard his words. That was interesting to hear. He had to think about what he said for only a second. Of course, he knew he was talking about Paradise Dawn. Still, it seemed like he was looking around the wrong area.

He would stay in the same spot he was in right now as he watched the man approach him. His head tilted to the sky as he could see it nice and clear.

“Ah, that would have been interesting to see if I could find myself with a new friend. As for the guild you described, you’re in the wrong area of the North for that. I should know I’m a part of the guild. It’s called Paradise Dawn. What’s up are you interested in joining the guild?” He asked him as he would take one of his shoes and put it on the dry foot.

Renji would open his eyes when he heard Yuurei having a conversation. He would stretch for a few seconds and when he was done, he would get off Yuurei. He would rub his eyes as he would look at the man with blurry eyes.

“Hey Kaito, I didn’t think I would see you here. Where’s Revy?” He asked a bit as his vision was slowly clearing up.

Yuurei would hear what Renji said, and his eyes widen because he did look like Kaito a bit.

"Yeah I am looking for that guild." He hears what the exceed just called him and he looks at the small exceed. "No that is my younger brother, I do not have a cute feline friend like you." He rubs the back of his head and he get closer to the would be duo, he wondered how they knew his brother, he wasn't thinking of how he could have just used his brothers name for info. "So you know my brother and his exceed?"

He punches the palm of his hand and he cracks his knuckles and smiles. "Do you think they will have me or am I too weak for that guild?" He slightly narrows his eyes looking at the orange exceed and he wonders if he is related to the one Kaito has it or if it is of its own blood line. He had many wonders about the place they were as they said this was the wrong place. "So where is it if it is not in this area of the north?" He wonders why they were out here if this was the wrong place in the north to be looking at for this rumored guild.

Yuurei would hear his words, and this is what he wanted to do. He wanted to recruit people to the guild that he was in. This was going to be the first person. He would grab his second shoe and he would put it on. Now that his attire was on, Yuurei would get off the floor and onto his feet. He would see that this guy was just as tall as him. It would seem like Renji hit the button right on the nose. This guy was Kaito’s older brother. Still, among the two, Kaito was superior in power from what he could sense. It didn’t matter of course; this guy was strong as well.

“Yeah I know them both. They are a good friend, but he has a lot going on that we just don’t have time to be around each other.” He said to Emil.

“You two do look alike. It caught me off guard, but I see the difference.” He said as he would be able to see clearly now.

Yuurei would hear his question and he would smile at him.

“I don’t think you’re weak for Paradise Dawn. I think you could fit perfectly. We don’t interfere with your goal, and we just want what’s best for the North of Fiore and the people in our guild.” He said to Emil as he was examining him.

He could tell that his hands were used for fighting which interest him.

“The guild is in Sieghart Mountains, that’s why you couldn’t find it. The name is Yuurei Starlight by the way, and this right here is Renji. What about you?” He asked as he forgot to introduce himself this entire time.

He knows this man is still sizing him up so he will have to make his words count   He doesn't know how well this guy could really do in any like contest. "good I would be glad to join you."   He was happy to finally have found a lead that seems to be some forward momentum to get him his new home finally, he just hopes it is a place that he can stay for a good while and isn't just gonna go out in the dark lonely night with nothing to show for it. He is still gonna keep himself braced for any signs of trouble because if his brother knew him it means they can be some sort of trouble if he was to cross them.

"My name is Emil Alexander, seems you cat knows my brother pretty well as well. Are he and my brothers exceed a couple?" He looks the orange exceed up and down and he wonders if she would like an exceed like this can he seemed to be getting fat and seems to have a little food stuck in his fur.

Yuurei would smile when he heard him accept the invitation without a problem. He continued by saying their name and then the comment with Renji would occur. The Exceed would open their eyes as they were surprised by the use of words. He would rub the back of his head as he chuckled a bit.
 
“Me and Revy are not a couple. I mean it would be nice, but that’s not how things work.” He said to Emil.
 
Yuurei would laugh at him, and he would grab his friend and he would put him on his shoulder.
 
“We do know Kaito well. He seems to try and distance himself from others, but it never truly works that well. Still, I wanted to know where you were in a guild before?” He asked curious to hear what he had to say.
 
Yuurei also figured he would ask him about the question he had been meaning to mention out of his own interest.
 

“Are you a hand-to-hand fighter?” He asked pointing at his hands.

"How things work? I was simply commenting you looked like you would be a good mate." He was simply just being straight forward but it seemed this exceed didn't have interest in that idea even if he called it nice he didn't enthuse father then saying it would be nice. So either he lacked passion or he didn't see the female exceed in that kind of light so he will just let it go as he didn't care all that much about it.

He looked at the man and he rubbed the back of his head. "I was in a guild in the east called empyrean divine, but it was disbanded out of seemly no where." It was a major ego hit he took from the fact he was unable to stop and pretty much ignorant of it closing to be disbanded he felt more like a useless member because of his inability to stop it's closing placing blame on himself even if he hadn't been told of it he still felt he had failed that guild in some way.

He looked at the man when he asked if he was a hand to hand fighter. "Yes I was raised and trained to be close and hand to hand in fighting technique, really in honest I have yet to find a weapon that calls to me yet, but I hope to change that." He looks at his own battle scarred knuckles from fighting for his life and in the pit and he has no idea how Holly could like his beaten up rough hands.

Renji wasn’t sure he and Revy could be together. He wanted that more than anything, but did she feel the same way? It was a question he didn’t have an answer to. The light mage would hear Emil speak about the guild he had come from. He remembered a guild called Empyrean Divine. They were the ones that hosted the events in Joya. He wondered what happen to them as it seemed like they disappeared out of thin air.

In the end, it would seem like he had found someone. Yuurei never met another person who fought with their hands. It seemed like this guy had been doing that for quite some time.

“That is unfortunate. I do know of Empyrean Divine. It sucks that such a beautiful guild could disperse like that. The guild master just threw it away and instead could have just offered leadership to someone else.” He said as he was disappointed in Karisa.

He didn’t know her personally but knowing what happened to the guild now he knew that she was not fit to lead ever.

“Nice, hopefully, you could find something soon. I also fight with my hands more than anything, so it’s interesting and exciting to see someone else does too.” He said to Emil.

“You can follow me though. I will take you to the guild and get you situated.” He said to Emil as figured he would have him serve under him and watch him grow.

He is brother to Kaito after all, so he figured he would like to see what he could do.

He has no idea if it was by the guild masters wish it was disbanded or if it was by a cruel god that had no feet on the ground that just ripped it away from them to leave them to flounder and to die off, maybe it was a test from Illumin or maybe a demon had taken it upon themselves to tear down a place with two Illumin believers in it to show no one is safe from the wrath of a demon scorned. He looks at the man and he wonders if maybe there is more in this for the man then himself for how quickly he was just to pick him up.

Seeing as he knew Kaito and seemed to be friends if not more then just friends with him, he guessed it was okay to trust him. "Not sure that the guild leader had a choice in it." He said unsure if that was true or not but he had hoped that the woman he had met would be more then just a absentee leader that would just slam the door in their faces like that. He then realized he didn't know her that well so maybe she was like that and he just didn't know that he would have to end up like this.

"I hope I do to or maybe I will have to find a skilled craftsmen in Rush valley to make me one to my standards." He had no ideas if that was even possible but he figured it would be worth a try if he didn't find anything that fit his tastes in the shops he might have to have one custom made so he could get the most out of doing it and fighting wit it in the least bit.

"Yeah I will follow you and hopefully I will fit into the place." He figured this was gonna probably be the best that he is gonna get for a welcome around the north, as he hasn't really met any one of a good spot up here that didn't threaten him or act super vulgar toward them.

Yuurei would hear Emil’s words. He was glad that he was able to tell him something brief about the guild master there. Still, it wasn’t enough to say she didn’t actually do it. Of course, he was glad to hear that he was looking for a proper gauntlet. It was something he had been trying to do as well. His left arm was naked in combat, and he wanted to cover it with a gauntlet of his own.

He was glad that he would follow him without a problem. That was good because he didn’t want to try too much to get him to trust him. Yuurei didn’t have a hidden agenda, and he figured that was enough for him to be trusted. He also figured mentioning Kaito helped. The two of them would continue their walk throughout the area as he was taking him to the mountains.

“I hope you do find someone to make you one. I need one to do the same for me.” He laughed a bit.

“I’m sure you will fit just fine. It’s a pretty big place if I say so myself. There is a lot of different kind of people within the guild.” He said to Emil as they kept moving.

Emil keeps following the strange man that says he can lead him to the guild that he can join and hopefully be safe for him and his family to be around and not just a place that will burn up faster than fresh cut wood in a camp fire and he keeps his wits about him and he wonders how well the area will treat him if he will be able to find a good spot to train and if the prey around here will be worth the risk and the time it will take to hunt them. In the east all he had to do was go down to the lower quarters and pick fights to really earn the scars and marks. He use to love to fight but now he has a family to worry about so he knows he has to be careful of the chances that he will die. He is unsure how well the area will suit them and some of the people he has past or saw have not taken to kindly to him.

Yuurei kept moving through the area as he was thinking about making conversation with Emil. It seemed like he was quiet on their travel, and he wasn’t sure what he was thinking. They were out of Orchidia now and he kept going.

“So what kind of things do you like Emil? Are you just a person who enjoys fighting, or is there something else you enjoy doing besides that?” He asked him wondering what he would say.

Renji would hear this and he would look over to Emil trying to see what he could ask.

“What kind of magic do you use? Your brother could use some type of dimensional thing, so what are you capable of?” He asked Emil.

Yuurei looked at his friend and he would shake his head. He didn’t think Renji would ask that. He figured he would learn about his magic whenever they spar with each other.

"Well I mostly stuck to the pits for fighting in Hosenka, so I doubt I am gonna find much of that around here. Well my family of course, fighting is at a middle ground at the moment I feel I need to reinvent myself instead of using the magic thought to me by a racist liar." He makes a fist with his hand clearly he is a little angry as he thinks about his father that had thought him that Elves were bad, Demi-humans are better off as slaves to serve human kinds every need.

He looks at the exceed that spoke to him and he rises his fist and it is coated in darkness magic that has streaks of lighting coursing through it. "I call it gilded darkness magic, it is a mix of lightning and darkness magic." He stops using it and he wonders what else the exceed might need or want to question him about, not that he minded it just seemed they had been walking for a bit and he still had no idea where he was going even.

Yuurei would hear his story of the pit in Hosenka. He was surprised that they never met then, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. Still, he was right, there wasn’t going to be much around here like the pit in Hosenka. Still, luckily for him, he would have Yuurei around if he ever wanted to brawl.

“I see, so you do enjoy fighting, but family means everything to you. Then I think you will be fine in Paradise Dawn. And I think no matter how you learn magic if you have it use it.” He said to Emil.

While Emil showed Renji his abilities, the Exceed would nod as it would seem like he is a dark and lightning user. That was interesting and the first time he had ever seen that. It wouldn’t take long for Renji to notice, but they would find themselves close to home.

The stairs that started all of this were right in front of them. Yuurei would start walking up the stairs and he would look forward as he figured he’d speak to Emil while ascending.

“At the top of these stairs we should be at the guild and at home.” He said to Emil.

He nods at the magic is whatever he sorta zoned out as this man talked a lot and nothing really was sinking in he was just more excited about getting a roof over his head and a way to be pointed in to do things, he was a pretty simple man and his plan was simple do what he can and he needs to change and get better then he currently is and he needs to pick up his life and get it in order.

as they reach the top of the stairs he sees the guild hall and he walks toward it fully ready to start his
new life under the paradise dawn name, he just hopes there isn't a snug in all of it that might come to rear it's ugly head. He must admit to himself that he has a bad feeling about this but he knows that he is gonna have to weather it and set out on his new life in stride. He sends word to his family of where he is and that he has found a new home to serve.

Yuurei would move through the steps. It was a nice walk now that he actually did the walk. He could tell that Emil wasn’t a person who enjoyed conversing. It seemed like he had fallen in silence again. Renji noticed that too, and that was why he tried to pry information out of the man. It seemed like they were going to have to give him time before they got an answer out of him.

When they got to the top of the stairs, Yuurei could see his home. It would seem like Emil was happy to see that he wasn’t lying about where he was taking him. He could see that he was happy about the situation, and he was happy about that too.

“Welcome to your new home. I hope you’ll enjoy it more than I do.” He said with a smile on his face.

He would show Emil around and of course, he would give him a room that was vacant for him to live in.
