Vex finishes making her self read to start heading to the concert area for the guests of honor it is some band she has never heard of, she isn’t sure why she chose to accept another invite from the group she was with for the test of courage but here she is in a costume that makes her look like a vampire countess with her hair vines braided up a long flowing black cape and a corset dress in the colors of her normal clothing black with gold with hues of blue, rose in the color that matches her hair color on the left hip of her dress, and black platform boots so she doesn’t get lost in the crowd because of how short she is.

She walks up to the gated area and looks around for the guys she was to meet here and then starts walking around the area just out side of the entrance cause she is not one for just waiting around idling looking like some pretty dressed up doll for the men around here to ogle like she is some display piece. "where are they…?" She starts tapping her foot, crossing her arms and she can hear the music on the inside has started playing already and she still has not seen one of them around.

Yuurei had finished the last little test of courage with two people he had recently met. One longer than the other, but their friendship was fairly new still. It seemed like the events in Joya didn’t stop with the cave, but now there was going to be a concert. He had never been to one, so he figured that he would go one and have that as a first-time experience. The light mage had worn a montsuki that he had made preparation for him. The earrings to ma5tch with it and he had a flower on his waist. Renji would have something similar to his outfit, so they could match. He had a parasol with him as well as they were walking towards their destination.

“What do you plan on doing after all of this is over Yuu?” He asked the light mage.

“To be honest I don’t even know. I loved Blue Pegasus and it’s been my home for two years about to be three. I mean I know I wasn’t there personally much, but I enjoyed the people who welcomed me there. Still, I can’t be where she is right now. It bothers me a lot.” He said to Renji as he rubbed the back of his head as they were walking.

“Wherever you go I’ll go, so no worries Yuu, but I’ll miss Nimbus.” He said to Yuurei as they were getting closer.

It wouldn’t take long, but they would see Vex dressed up and waiting for them by the entrance. She looked impatient, but her outfit made her look gorgeous. When he approached her he would wave at her with his free hand and he figured it was best to compliment her and apologize for the slightly late arrival.

“My apologies for being late Vex, but I got to say you look stunning in your outfit.” He would say this as he licked his lips and gave her a smile.

He noticed that Amir wasn’t here, which meant they had one person to wait for before going inside for the concert.

The scholar was enjoying his visit to Joya more than his time in Fiore. Amir had felt the nice warmth of the hot springs. This time he was getting dressed in order to head out to the concert. Amir had a costume that actually made it through transport. The scholar was going dressed as an ancient creature called a Saurian. A large lizard type beast that is said to be related to dragons. Amir could almost pass for a demi human with his costume.

Walking out of the hot spring hotel he was staying at he was walking towards the concert venue. He was running a little later than he wanted to. Amir did not think that he was going to be the first one to make it at this point. Imagine his lack of surprise that he did show up as the last one.

“My mistake. I was too relaxed and it took me forever to get ready. We can head on inside.” Amir gave all the people present a work over. Vex was looking great in her slightly evil aesthetic. Yuurei looked nice as well. It may have looked nicer to other people. The look just did not fit with Amir’s sense of aesthetic. It was too pretty and lacked a certain oomph. All it did was showcase the pretty boy looks that were common in all the Blue Pegasus men. “The both of you look great. Vex I could never pull off looking as stunning as you. You may not be the main event but you are definitely a show stopper.” The scholar padded the compliments for the pretty woman thickly. Amir may have not been interested, he did however understand enough about women to know that compliments will get you far.

This time Amir did not want to be the first one in. He waited for the rest of the party to depart. Amir would want to watch from behind and support the team in his proper role. It was just in case something would happen. Amir could not predict the hearts of people he did not know.

Vex bowed to them as they get close to her. "Welcome glad to see you made it." She is unsure how this concert would roll out for them and when Amir started with the compliments she was unsure what to really believe here this man insults her the other day but today he is pretty much just giving her an ego boost and she is blushing lightly then she turns and she leads them in handing in the invite to let her in and she walks along to where she sees a good spot to set up for the concert she looks around in the crowd in case the masked mage was somewhere in the crowd but she doubts with how packed it is in here that she would be able to spot someone in a costume.

She heard the music and she stats to dance a little to the music being crazy and never heard music like this before and she looks at the other two to see if they were doing the same kind of thing she was or if she was just the odd one out and not fitting into this crowd.

She sees the woman singing and she wonders where they are from or how they came to be and she is Some sort of demon her voice seemed to lull and drilled, straight into vex’s soul like she feels so light and like she has been missing out on this kind of music and joy for a long time like it speaks to her dark and neglected soul for a bastion for it to take over and conquer her inner demons with more darkness then the light could give to her in a single rotation of its time around the planet.

She looked at the banner that said the groups name and it was the hex girls she wonders how often they tour and do shows like this for people at festivals and other sorts of parties that she can really maybe try to attend to see them do another show, she has to admit she might be a little obsessed with them now but she figures she will get over it soon and be back to her normal self before she sees any of her guild watching as if something was wrong with her.

Yuurei was waiting for their last member to arrive, and soon enough he would appear. His outfit was different, and he could see the fashion behind it. He could see the scales that were used for his design, and he liked the outfit. He would hear him, and he would smile at him as he was fine with the late arrival. Still, he would give Vex a nice compliment and he would smile at the words he used. That was smart of him to do, but now that they were all here, he was ready to go inside.

They would follow Vex inside and she would pick a spot for them to enjoy the concert. When they got there, he noticed that she was looking for someone and he wondered who it was. He looked around too, but without any idea of who to look for he was lost. The song that was playing had a different tune to what he was used to. Still, it was a good tune, and he enjoyed it as he moved his head to the beat of it all. It wouldn’t take long, but he would start dancing to the music as well. It was enjoyable and he figured he would do his best to enjoy his time here.

He would get closer to Vex, as he wanted to ask her a question and see if she would answer him.

“Who were you looking for earlier Vex?!” He would ask her as he would continue dancing as he would turn to look over to Amir.

“Have you been to one of these things before Amir?!” He would ask him as he kept dancing as he wondered what he was going to say.

The girls that were on stage were beautiful and while he looked around, he could see that they had created a large fanbase. These girls were popular indeed, and that meant they had a lot of good songs that they were going to be playing.

Amir was distracted by the ambience. The scholar had attended parties in Minstrel, boring affairs that were mostly political. The feasts at Desierto had a similar vibe except he was not allowed to participate only serve. The only thing Amir could recall with a similar vibe would be the Blue Pony parade in Hargeon. Amir was reminiscing about that time. It was the first place he met Yuurei as well. The air was making Amir pretty excited he was looking forward to this festival.

The scholar had overheard Yuurei ask who Vex was looking for. He figured it was none of his business so he did not pay it any mind. Amir would not bother to get hang ups over everyone's business. Vex was not even a person he was close with. If she wanted to share she would. If she did not want to share then Amir would stay out of it, unless it had something to do with him.

Amir had to answer when the question became directed at himself. “No. The closest would be when I met you in Hargeon. That festival was closer to this one. More opulent but this at least feels more open and friendly.” Amir reiterated the thoughts in his head verbally. He had thought about it earlier but did not realize the elf was going to inquire about it. It was almost as if he was getting his mind read. It made Amir wonder if a type of mind reading magic was possible. Still he did not want to go deeply into that theoretical train of thought. It would be too distracting and he would not get the chance to enjoy the party as much.

As the young mage listened to the beats he realized what the group was missing. The all important party booze. Drinking while dancing went hand in hand. “I am going to go grab some drinks, do any of you want something specific? Or should I just bring back the specialty? I heard they have this thing called Sake that is a must have.” Amir was unsure of their drinking preferences or if they even drank. He wanted to ask so he did not waste any precious jewels on stuff that would not be drunk at all. It would also be a waste of time for him to carry it back.

vex stops dead in her movement when the man had asked her who she was looking for she was unsure if she should tell this man who she was looking for but he figures it won't hurt to say who it is as long as she doesn't say that she is hunting the person to kill them, for her goddess. "Oh I had heard rumors about this powerful mage from Fairy Tail that wears a mask, they say he is a curse or a blight or something like that." She smiles sorta sheepishly to try and try to play it off as if she was a fan or was just looking to meet the man that she had heard so much about. She wondered how the light mage would react to her looking for such a man though she figures the man would consider it normal cause of the more scary appearance she is wearing.

She looks to the other man who had been super smooth offering to go get drinks and she wonders if he is gonna try to be even smoother then she had already seen him be or if he will just be the stereo typical drunk male and just start hitting on her when he is drunk or buzzed. "I will take a sake please, sir." She smiled sweetly and slightly bowed at her knees to be courteous to the male who was offering to go get the drinks for them to enjoy along with the music that is playing loud and proud. She gets back to her own dancing and she wondered if the masked Fairy would even come to an event like this or even want to be in such a huge crowd.

She figures it was dumb to be looking for him in this kind of crowd cause he wasn't that personable from the rumors she had heard, that his curse keeps him solo and hidden from the rest of the world a loner by nature and not kind at all, a sorta monster jaded by the hatred of a world that has cursed him and made him an outcast.

Yuurei was moving around as the songs continued to play. They were enjoyable and he would surely listen to them in the future. Still, while he was dancing, he would get an answer from Amir. It seemed like the only thing close to something like this was the time he was in Blue Pegasus. That was good to hear because it meant it was basically everyone’s first time or from how it seemed.

The light mage would come to a stop though when Vex spoke. He was surprised by her words. The person she described was someone he knew. Amir knew him too, which he found funny. He rubbed the back of his head as he laughed a bit. Kaito seemed to know a lot of people it seemed. Still, before he could say anything to Vex, Amir would speak up and offer to buy drinks for them.

That was nice of him to do, and he would think about what he wanted. It was a short thought because he figured he would get the usual. He wasn’t sure how long he was going to be here, so he might as well go for something he was used to.

“I will take a whiskey on ice please.” He said to Amir as he nodded to him as he was grateful for him doing this.

When Yuurei saw Amir walk away to get the drinks for them, Yuurei would look at Vex and he would continue the conversation going between them.

“A powerful mage from Fairy Tail, who likes to wear a mask and has a curse on him.” He had a smile on his face as he looked at her.

“There is only one person you’re talking about and he’s definitely not going to be in a crowd like this.” He said to her as he laughed at part.

“He won’t show up unless certain people dragged him here.” He said that only because explaining the reason why wasn’t part of his business.

Yuurei would get back to listening to the music that was being sung by the Hex Girls. He would move to the beat of the music that was being played and continued to jam. His ears were alert to what Vex had to say still, and his eyes were aware of his surroundings, so he didn’t bump into Amir when he came back with the drinks.

Even if one was not paying attention, they could still overhear certain things, if people spoke loud enough. When Amir heard Vex speak of a certain Fairy Tail mage an image showed up in his head. Amir lifted his hand and waved the air as if to dissipate the thought. The friend in question was pretty close to him. There was no way that she was talking about his friend and the only Fairy Tail mage he personally knew. The world could not possibly be that small. Then again they all came from Fiore so it could be possible.

Ignoring it as a coincidence Amir went to go collect that booze. He was disappointed in the Elves' choice of drink. Whiskey on ice, did he think he had a sophisticated palette. It would not have killed him to try the sake. If he did not like it he could have recommended something else. Instead he had to keep an elven wood stick up his rectum. I guess the rumors of the elves being just as stubborn as the dwarves were true. Amir could only chalk up Yuurei’s taste to poor upbringing and a lack of imagination.

Amir may have been a scholar but he was also an experienced drinker. He placed some jewels on the table before ordering the drink. It was a trick to get the bar servers attention and increase the quality of service. It is simply giving them a big tip in advance. The trick worked like a charm and in less than three minutes Amir was paying for the first round. He drank a couple of things called a sake bomb from the bar tenders recommendation. It tasted okay at best, the alcohol content was good. Amir could feel his body warm up and was getting ready to hit the dance floor. He vaguely recalled he was supposed to bring back drinks for the others. He got a spare bottle of extra large sake with serving cups, as well as the whiskey on ice for Yuurei. His normally weak body was magnified and strengthened by the power of alcohol. Amir was feeling great. If he was asked to fight a dragon he would simply go for it.

“Hera ya go!” Amir made it back to the dance floor and passed his companions the drinks. He was obviously buzzed but not drunk. “Never heard of this band but they are killing it!” His voice was louder to hear over the sound of music. Joining the crowd Amir started to dance as well. His sense of rhythm was slightly off as he did not dance informally before. This would be his first time and he did not understand how it worked. The only people that could notice would assume it was because he was inebriated to an extent.

mage she was after would appear here. "If I may ask is he is a relationship?" She figured if the man was saying dragged it meant he was committed to someone so it means she was a target that she can capture and lure out the masked Fairy to the front and center so she can take him down and just let his other suffer as she or he is released to hold a cold dead body of a problem that has been running around for far to long unchecked. She keeps a kind innocent smile as if she was still just a fan of his rumors.

when Amir appears with drinks she can tell he has gotten a decent buzz on cause he seemed far more lively and she gets some of the sake and she takes a drink and she can feel it in her very being, but she was gonna be careful how much of this she drank cause it had a serious bite to it for her small frame and she knows she will lose her lady like appearance and attitude if that happens to get a little to far and she was not gonna risk blowing her cover to these two guys. She knows she could probably take the tall dark and handsome one, but the half blood light mage would probably have her out for the count before she could even take a step toward him.

She noticed the lack of Renji speaking with the light mage and she kneels down to get closer to the exceed. "Are you having fun little guy ?" She gently petted Renji's head she also noticed he hadn't gotten a drink either. "Did you need a drink or anything?" She was surprised the man hadn't stopped to ask Renji if he had wanted a drink of some sort even if it was non alcoholic. She waited for his reply so she can either give him some sake or make her way to get the little exceed a drink so he isn't left out from the party and enjoying the music to the fullest that he can. She still swayed a little to the music that was playing and smiling at Renji who seemed to have been forgotten.

Yuurei would hear the question she asked, and he would chuckle at the question she asked. The light mage was sure that man may have some attraction to women but wasn’t trying to be in a relationship because of that curse of his.

“Nah, his curse wouldn’t let him even if he wanted to. Why do you ask? Do you have a thing for people in masks? What if he was ugly?” Yuurei asked her as he was joking around with her.

He continued to dance as he was thinking about why she asked him that question and before she could answer the questions, he asked previously he said more.

“Are you trying to torture him? Trying to find his weakness?” He laughed when he asked those questions because he was joking and if she lied he would believe her in an instant.

It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would soon see Amir come back with the drinks in his hands. There were cups and a bottle of sake in one hand and then his whiskey in the other. The light mage would take his drink the moment he offered to him. He looked over to the bottle that was in his hand and figured he would ask. Still, the first thing he would do was take a sip of his whiskey as he moved it around his mouth for the sensation before taking it in. He would look over to Amir and he would smile because he felt the same way.

“Yeah, they are actually good, I didn’t think that would be the case. By the way, what is that in your hand? Is it any good?” He spoke loud enough for Amir to hear him.

The half-elf would keep dancing as he wasn’t moving as hard as before because he didn’t want his drink to spill on him. Still, he was enjoying the whole scene he was in and he couldn’t ask for anything more.

Renji was just relaxing on Yuurei’s shoulder. He wasn’t here to have fun but to keep Yuurei company. He didn’t like that his friend was enjoying something in a crowd. It wasn’t just that, but they knew nothing of this place, so it tensed him up. He would be startled when he was asked a few questions, which made him look over to her.

“I like the music that’s being played I guess. It’s not hurting my ears so that’s a good thing. As for something to drink, nah I don’t need any I mean I will probably ask for water or milk later on, but I’m just making sure this one here doesn’t do anything stupid.” He said as he was pointing at Yuurei.

“The Sake? It is pretty good. It is for Vex. I already had a bottle. If need be I can buy more. The prices for it are pretty good. They mix the sake in a variety of ways too.” Amir was giving an honest review on the alcohol he was having, it was helping that he was feeling pumped as well. His body was starting to sweat from the exercise that he was doing. Dancing was such a physical activity that sapped the limited strength from his body.

The music was pumping and the Desiertian was feeling great. His rhythmic skills were improving as he got used to the beat of the music. He was no longer looking like a chicken having a mild stroke. He was looking cooler like he almost knew what to do. Amir was building up self confidence on the dance floor. He was having more fun than he has in a long time. Out of the corner of his eye Amir could see another dancer giving him the eye. He had to hobble his way over to flirt with him. He had permission to look at the buffet just not to eat.

“Hello. Came here alone?” Amir started with a question and a wink. The guy looked like he was drinking and liked what he was seeing as well. The nerd had recently read some books on flirtation and psychology. This would be an interesting experiment in the social sciences. Not like he would bother falling in love or similar. He was already taken and would not bother to seriously flirt without his mate present to see it, well maybe flirt just not sleep with him. Well maybe sleep with him if a lot more drinks are brought. Amir had no reason technically to be a prude.

A response was given from the party goer asking Amir to dance. The wolf had no reason to pass on it. He brought the dude out to the dancefloor and started to dance with them. Their bodies were starting to sweat together as the heat of the dance floor started to rise. Enough people were entering the dance floor and having fun.

She feels like the light mage might be on to her. " What does it matter how he looks ? I hear he is strong and kind so really any woman’s dream." She fakes to be swooning at the thought of the masked mage, really she is repulsed by him and his curse and sees it as Tutrix giving her a sign to rid the world of another monster. She wondered if she out right told this mage that she was looking to end his curse would he help her or would her turn on her and send her packing.

She giggled at the little cat. " Yeah let’s try to keep him out of as much trouble as possible little guy. So do you have a girlfriend ?”" she wondered if exceeds feel love for others of their kind or if he had a different look toward a lover or partner, or if they don’t mate at all. She wonders if this is even any of her business or not but she wanted to know cause it is interesting.

She keeps her eyes on the guys hoping they don’t over do it cause that means her and this exceed will have to deal with them and keep them out of trouble, she figures she might buy a magic music stone with their songs on it to play when ever she wants to. Vex stands back up and she gets back to dancing and she sees Amir starting to hit on another man and she understands now why he seems to be hot and cold he is not into women he is a man’s man. Nothing wrong with that she just wishes she would have known a little more about that but she never knew to even ask about that.

She pours herself a little bit more sake and she drinks a little more as she dances and she is starting to feel a little more loose, she gets closer to yuurei while dancing. " Do you really know the mage ? Cause I really have to meet him sometime soon." She knew she was starting to get a little desperate and she wants to see what her goddess will give her if she was to kill the mage target and the Hex girls seem to be keeping the energy up and the people are going crazy.

Yuurei would hear what he had to say about the sake, and he would nod as he would try it out after he was done with his whiskey. He figured he would try something new, and that was fine. Soon enough it looked like the alcohol had gotten to him as he danced off towards a man. This brought Yuurei to smile and nod because he finally understood his preference. His attention would turn to Vex who talk about Kaito, and it made Yuurei smile and chuckle a bit as he would rub the back of his head as it felt like he was being scolded. He felt like he hit a nerve and she was being defensive.

Renji had gone back to doing his job as he was looking at everyone who was dancing and wondering who would try to pull a fast one on Yuurei. It wouldn’t take long as he looked at Vex again as she asked a personal question.

“Me a girlfriend? Nah, I mean I do like someone a lot, but I don’t know if the feelings are mutual. I don’t want to tell her how I feel unless she tells me first. I learned from Yuu that it’s best to let the woman let their feelings out first.” He said as he was sure that was how it worked from the past experience that Yuurei had gone through.

Yuurei was drinking his whiskey as he continued dancing to the music. He noticed that Vex got close to him while they were dancing and she would ask him a question again about Kaito. He had a smirk on his face as he continued dancing.

“Yes, I know him personally, he’s a friend of mine. Still, I can’t just call him, and he would come running. I mean I could probably be a weakness for him, but I’m strong in my own right, so yeah.” He said as he continued dancing as would start dancing with Vex.

Renji would watch for Amir as well as he was hoping that nothing bad would happen or that he wouldn’t get taken advantage of.

It was a particular song when the guy placed his hands on Amir’s waist. He had no time to check into the conversation the others were having. Amir was busy enjoying the concert with the guy. He put his arms around the man's neck, not to choke the man, but to enjoy the dance. The only person he had bothered to dance with like this is his mate for a bit. This was a different kind of treat for him to enjoy. It was kind of like eating steak all the time then just enjoying a mild salad. It did not do anything for him but it was fun enough.

The man was getting a bit rougher than Amir could tolerate. He asked Amir to go off to the side for some personal fun. Amir was here for a good time but did not feel like sleeping around. He turned the man down with a giggle. The scholar would have been nicer about how he turned the man down. The alcohol in his mind made him a bit more blunt than usual. The guy was not too happy about how he was turned down. He came towards Amir with nefarious intent. Amir released a bit of his mana as a flex. The man’s face turned pale and he took off running. Amir even when buzzed was strong enough to handle himself. Too bad it was a bluff as Amir was not the best at using his magic. His mana was still in flux from his experiments.

“Well that was pretty sucky.” Amir came back to the other two now that his toy had fled. “You would think people would have more manners. Came here to enjoy myself and he went full creep. It was a shame that he was a total sleaze. What are you two talking about? Anything fun.” Amir was open and communicating. He was not paying attention to them much before, this time he wanted to lean in to hear the conversation. Maybe he could actually contribute.

Vex Watches the train wreck that happened in front of her, she doubted this man is a weakness for The man she is hunting as he is far to strong for the masked man to see as a weakness to help. She wondered if the clearly full of liquid Courage on a trip that ended in striking fear into a man that was after a quick hook up that might have ended up with a rougher night of no rest And all play but was not the path they ended up taking them on for the night.

Vex looks at Renji and she leans back down. "What if she is waiting for you to do the same, to admit those feelings. " She doubts the Exceed would really be able to get too far in love he seemed emotionally and mentally stunted so good luck to him getting anything to like him he isn’t paying to give him the love he might be seeking.

She goes back to dancing as it seems the concert is starting to reach the final parts of their show but the crowd keeps cheering and chanting “hex girls! Hex girls! Hex girls!” Vex wondered if this is a little confused if this is a concert or a cult meeting but she hopes this isn’t some ritual she should be worried about or this night might get interesting for them all. She takes a spot in the back slowly fading from the scene.

Yuurei kept dancing as he was enjoying his time and he would hear Vex talking to Renji still. He was glad that she had dropped the questions about Kaito. He wouldn’t have told her even if he did know where the man was located. The light mage didn’t know who she truly was to him, so he wasn’t going to lead the masked man into more trouble. Still, he kept dancing as he could hear people chanting Hex Girl. His eyes looked over to Amir as he had asked them what they were talking about, and he would chuckle about it as he rubbed the back of his head.

“Oh we weren’t talking about anything important actually.” He said to Amir as he looked around.

It looked like things were coming to an end, and Renji heard her words but chose not to say anything about it. He wasn’t going to put himself in a situation where they didn’t like him back. It would ruin what could be, and in the end, he was fine with just a fantasy. Still, he chose not to say anything about that as he noticed that she was moving away from everyone. He figured she was weird but said nothing about it.

The other members of the group started to behave like downers. Vex was acting creepy and hiding away in a shadow. Yuurei told Amir they were not talking about anything of importance. Amir was just unsure if it was true. Even looking through the light mental haze of inebriation he could spot the bs. Amir could only calculate the possible scenarios. The most likely one was that Yuurei was hitting on her. The elf seemed a lot like a flirtatious ladies’ man. Amir could not put it past the guy to hit on every girl in a set radius.

Still Amir ferreted the feelings away. Vex did not cause a scene if it was true. That did not make it Amir’s job to be the white night. It was sucky as the situation was starting to make him sober up. It was killing the vibe and turning down the party. Amir would have to set out on another adventure if they kept it up. Still he partied till everyone in the group was ready to go. He would not feel like partying all by himself.
