Description: A traditional kite shield, forged and crafted with the attention to detail seldom applied towards armaments and defenses and often only seen towards works of art. An apt comparison, given the embroidered detailing, patterns more resonate with that of expensive pottery. But in that lies considerable deception, with the look taking away from the durability and protection which this shield provides, suitable to endure direct shots from crossbows, to remain standing upon the thrown javelin. It may be a beautiful shield, but do not forget it is a shield first.
