Kailani Fleurn †
The wind mage felt someone scoop her up, flickering her eyes open, she'd note it was her best friend, and close them again. If he was carrying her, he was more than likely taking her back to the Fairy Tail Guild Hall so she could rest. While Kailani was mentally exhausted and drained of magical energy, she thankfully had not sustained any physical injuries. As such, all she would need was enough time for her body to naturally absorb the ethernano from the atmosphere around her and she'd be perfectly well once more.

Upon entering the guildhall, she'd note that the destruction on the town had certainly put a damper on the party, as was only natural. People sat around injured, getting treatment from both healing mages and non-magical medical staff alike. The sounds of children crying rung through the air as well. In order to lighten the mood of the situation, it seemed Fairy Tail had attempted to continue the party, now with all the civilians in tow.

"You can put me down now." The dragon slayer would mutter quietly to the light mage, feeling a little more capable of standing now. Kailani figured that while she had to restrain herself from using her spells to heal, for now, she could at least help those in need with her knowledge of basic first aid.

#2Yuurei

Yuurei

Yuurei had brought Kailani all the way back to the guild; when he got there, he could see all the people that were injured, and those who were getting treated. He could use that type of magic, so he couldn’t be the one to help in that way. Still, he was glad that a lot of the civilians were in the guild now and it seemed like the people in this guild wanted to continue the party. The light mage was surprised about this but figured that this was their way of doing things.

It wouldn’t take long, but he would look over to Kailani and he would let her down as she requested. When he saw that she was okay he would relax and stand straight as he figured he would go around see what he could do. He would approach those who were already helping, and he would stand on their side waiting to say something.

“Is there anything I can do to help?” He asked them.

They would look at him and would smile when they saw that it was the guy from Blue Pegasus. He knew he was helpful amongst other things so that was good.

“Yes, if you can, then please take those towels there, and get them soaked with warm water over there please.” He pointed in the direction of the huge sink for him to use.

Yuurei would take the towels as he would make his way to the sink quickly and he would start soaking them with warm water before folding them and placing them to the side. Renji would look around and he could see that there were a lot of people who needed help, and it sucked that this happened to them.

“Move faster, Yuu.” He said as he actually wanted them to be helped.

Yuurei would move faster as he would get to the final towel, and he would take them all ran back to the man who told him what to do. He would look at Yuurei and he would grab one and placed it on the person’s forehead and looked at everyone around.

Brone followed Yuurei and Kailani, making sure that no other threats would approach them, luckily they made it to the guild hall safely without any other issues. As they walked through the double doors, the mess hall was filled with both guild members and civilians, both healthy and injured being tended to. Kailani got back on her feet "Don't overdo it" Brone said to her before he began walking around the area, just to survey everyone.

The dwarf began asking guild members if they found out anything about the attack, but unfortunately it turns out no one had answers, just that groups of terrorists were spotted, some were fought and defeated while some managed to get the one-up one some of the guild members who now were part of the injured, but ultimately no one had any idea who these people were and why they were attacking.

"Could you us?" Martha the bartender asked Brone to help transport some people who were unable to move. Because of the number of civilians continue to increase, they had to move things around. Some rooms in other parts of the building were used and furniture were moved about to allow more space.

When passing by a second story window, Brone looked outside to view the destruction the enemy had caused; it wasn't as terrible as he thought, but several places where smoke had risen were destroyed places of business and homes. Hopefully Yuurei would call to him, ready to go back out there and hand out some justice.

Kailani continued to help aid the injured to the best of her ability, her magical energy slowly returning to her. She was considering using some to close some of the more serious wounds of a few patients when she was approached by a member of the Fairy Tail guild who she didn't recognise.

"You're from BP right?" They'd ask, leaning in closer to whisper, upon seeing her nod they'd move in a little closer to whisper into her ear, so as not to alarm the patients around her, "We could do with your help along with your fellow guild members." They glanced around, before ushering the wind mage away from her current patient, to which she followed, figuring something must be up due to their worried expression.

"The destruction appears to have been a diversion tactic, as soon as we had most of us leave, they used the opportunity to infiltrate us." They explained, sweating a little, "We need some of the stronger mages from the other guilds to help us deal with them, they're far more powerful than the goons that had been blasting up the town... and with so many of us still out in the town or injured... " They trailed off clearly on the verge of tears over feeling so helpless.

So that had been the reason behind all senseless assault on the town, to simply draw out all the Fairy Tail members so they could enter freely in all the chaos. Did they plan to destroy the guild from the inside? Or where they simply after something the guild was in possession of? Her questions would have to wait, they weren't an urgent matter right now.

"Don't worry." Kailani placed a hand on their shoulder, beaming at him as best as she could given the dire circumstances, "We will do our best, do you mind telling me how to get to them though?" Her eyes searched around for Yuurei and Brone. She wouldn't be able to do this alone, they'd definitely be required. Feeling a little more reassured, they'd breathe a sigh of relief.

"Yes, I'll take you there right now." They went to rush off, only to have the dragon slayer grab their shoulder tightly.

"Hang on I'll need my two friends." She declared, catching them by surprise. "I'll be back soon, give me a minute."

"Oh, oh yes, of course!" They nodded, feeling a little silly for getting ahead of themselves as the dragon slayer quickly rushed through the crowds in search of her friends. Upon finding them she'd fill them in quietly about the situation and bring them back to the person that would escort them towards the pathway that would lead them down to the inner sanctum of the guild where the enemy had supposedly managed to infiltrate.

Yuurei

Yuurei was moving around as he was looking at the man and he would be pointing to where he wanted him to go. The berserker didn’t hesitate to get to each person who needed his attention. While he was doing this it seemed like everyone else was trying to do the same thing. The light mage continued to help with the injured as he didn’t know what else to do. This wasn’t what he was used to doing, so he was moving around as he was being told. While he was helping though, he would notice that Kailani had approached him. He would turn to look at her and when she explained everything to him, Yuurei took a step back.

It had caught him by surprise and he didn’t expect that those ruffians had infiltrated the guild. His eyes looked around trying to see if he could spot them, but he didn’t see anybody who looked out of place. The light mage would sigh as it seemed like they were going to follow some random person who knew where these infiltrators might be located. That meant that this guild had something that the ruffians wanted.

“This is going to be bad, but thank god I don’t use any magic that does a lot of damage to the environment.” He said to Kailani and Brone.

The light mage would see the person who was escorting them, and he would start moving behind them. He was on guard the entire time because he didn’t know who to trust. There were only three people he could put his trust in, and it was Renji, Kailani, and Brone.

Brone's eyes darted here and there as he continued to look out the window, hoping to see something; whether it was another explosion, another group of bandits, or people that needed saving, but even his night-piercing eyes couldn't see through the cluster of buildings and he wasn't high enough to get a good enough view. He sighed heavily, bothered he wasn't able to do anything at the moment, this was one of the very few times he wished he had spells that could help.

Kailani's voice pulled him from his patrol of the window and in her hushed voice, she explained the situation. Brone's heart pounded with anger and excitement. Fury for those who dared to cause such destruction just to infiltrate the guild, and excitement for the chance to be able to bruise his own knuckles with the faces of those responsible for this carnage. Without a word, the dwarf nodded and followed her, trying his best not to seem suspicious, however every so often, Brone would look around, trying to find anyone who seemed suspicious, though he knew it wouldn't do any good since he doesn't know what these 'infiltrators' look like.

Soon enough, the team was back together, following the informant. His patience was beginning to wear thin. He tightened his fists every so often, the desire to hit something or someone growing. Not wanting to ruin this act of stealth and out everyone to the people around them, Brone remained quiet, until the right moment presented itself.

The wood elf wasn't sure how much use she'd be to her friends in any fight that was about to take place, the magical power within her body was still recuperating after their last encounter. Still, she didn't wish to stay behind only to regret it later. Following the Fairy Tail guild member closely, they'd lead the pegasi trio and their companions to a stone staircase. The dragon slayer had to take a deep breath, their nerves growing as they realised they'd be heading underground.

Descending downwards she'd feel her body start to sweat as he recalled the last time she'd gone beneath the earth's surface and fought an actual real-life spectre. Her breathing became more rapid as her heart started pounding with fear. Eventually, they'd find themselves in a large circular room beneath the guildhall, it held very few decorations other than the magical lights that shone brightly from the walls, illuminating the area.

From the room, there were several pathways, each corridor seemingly leading in completely different directions. Yells, shouts and ominous laughter could be heard down various pathways. The wind mage's lilac eyes glanced to their new 'friend' for directions, unsure which way they should take now. The informant was shaking in fear as they glanced around, muttering to themselves nervously as it appeared they were reading invisible writing above each of the doorways. Perhaps some sort of magic only the guild members could see.

"Ah, w-we need you three down that p-path." They stuttered, finally pointing to a corridor to the party's left, "P-please hurry!" They urged, clearly frightened over the whole ordeal. Once again, the wood elf would gently place a hand on their shoulder and smile.

"D-don't worry, we'll handle this." She attempted to reassure them, her own voice quivering, although not for the same reasons. The junior fairy tail member was clearly more scared of the enemy than feeling trapped down here. Kailani would turn and nod towards her comrades. "Y-Yuurei, lead the way." she stumbled over her words, as she urged the light mage to take the lead down the pathway, figuring he'd be the wisest to send in the front.

Yuurei would get together with everybody and soon enough they would follow the people who were a part of Fairy Tail. He wasn’t sure if they were really with the guild because he himself wasn’t a part of the guild. Still, they were led down some steps, and soon enough they would find themselves in the guild inner sanctum, and right then he could see all the paths that were led out for them. He would look around to see if there were any traps placed for them, but it seemed like everything was normal. He was waiting for their guide to lead them to the right path.

Of course, he was scared out of his mind as Yuurei looked at him. He didn’t like he wasn’t going to lead them any further, and Yuurei would crack his knuckles as he heard Kailani’s words. It would seem like they were going to be on their own from this and he could hear Kailani’s words. It would seem like she was okay, but he felt like she needed some rest.

The light mage would move to her first, and he would ask her a question before they moved onward.

“If you want I can carry you on my back until we get to wherever this leads?” He would ask her.

It didn’t matter what her answer would be, but he would be the first to enter the path that was chosen for them. Yuurei would start walking through the path and he would move cautiously. Yes, he was making sure that he didn’t step on any traps that were in front of him. He kept moving as he wondered how many people had infiltrated the guild.

“Do you think they were a part of the guild, or they were those who infiltrated the guild? Or they probably were threatened by the thugs that infiltrated and they had no choice but to lead us here?” He asked wondering what their thought process was behind what was happening.

As the group descended the staircase, Brone grunted, wondering how many of the infiltrators there were. After a several flights, they've reached a corridor that continued a downward slope as the further down they went, the less frequent lantern lacrimas would be seen mounted on the walls; darkness was slowly increasing and with the sound of the mess hall vanishing behind them, the only sound that was audible were the steps against the floor that echoed up and down the hall.

Through the encroaching darkness, Brone could see Kailani's expression. He lightly tapped her to get her attention so he could give her a smile and a thumbs up, showing that she was safe with them. He knew her to be a brave elf, even though things tend to get fearful, she has always been there right between the dwarf and half-elf, that being one of her traits that Brone highly respected.

Eventually they reached the open room with descent lighting. When the informant pointed out the left pathway, the three pegasi entered, though Brone made sure to direct Kailani to follow behind Yuurei so that the dwarf himself can watch the rear. Yuurei began to speak speculation which caused the dwarf to begin wondering, "Didn't think of that... but why lead us to their allies if we intend on beating them to a pulp? That doesn't seem to be a good idea, they basically helped us complete our mission, that is if your concern is correct" Brone scratched his beard, trying to figure out how complicated can this situation become. He then grunted out of frustration, for all he knew, it wasn't as complicated as Yuurei speculated, maybe the infiltrators were simple bandits and they were going to get the drop on them and after a quick fight, the three pegasi save the day... at least that is what Brone wants to happen.

The wind mage shot her best smile back towards the dwarf who seemed to have notice something was up with her. Now that she thought about it, she had never really disclosed her fear to either of her friends. She sheepishly scratched the back of her neck, hopefully, it wouldn't be too big of a hindrance. Upon hearing Yuurei's offer the wood elf raised her hands up defensively as she shook her head in an attempt to reassure the light mage that it was okay to head on first.

"A-Ah, no I'm fine, don't worry about me." She muttered, sounding far less sure of herself than usual, but her words would be enough to ensure he'd continue first down the path. He was careful, clearly checking for traps and the likes. Upon hearing his concerns about their informant Kailani felt a little stupid. She had been so exhausted she hadn't even considered it an option, she'd simply believed the young mage. Brone did bring up a good point, of course, it didn't make sense for someone to alert the pegasi to the infiltration. Especially after they'd gone to so much effort to set up a diversion throughout the entire town.

The pathway itself didn't seem trapped in any way, but as they continued down, the laughter and talking would grow quiet, the only sound now whispers that echoed down the stone walls of the long hallway.

"Did you hear that?" A high-pitched woman's voice.

"Hear what?" A deep male-sounding tone.

"I think someone's coming..."

"You sure?"

"Yea..."

It seemed whoever was down the hall had been alerted to their presence. Most likely from their own footsteps echoing down, or the clinking of Brone's chainmail. It wasn't exactly the most stealthy armour choice.

"Shit. Hurry up already!"

"I'm going as fast as I can!"

"Well go faster!"

The voices grew more frantic. If the trio were to continue to venture deeper they'd soon find themselves face to face with the two. A blonde woman and a brunette male who were desperately trying to set up explosives along the stonework beneath the guildhall.

Yuurei

Yuurei was glad that Kailani was behind, she had declined his offer, which he didn’t like, but was okay with. He figured she would have her reasons for declining him. Yuurei would hear what his friend had to say to him, and he would think about it for a bit. It wouldn’t take him long to come up with an answer for Brone.

“I guess, they could either have something prepared for us, or they have traps that could hinder us on our way over to them. That’s what I would have tried to do if I was them. Still, I might just be overthinking things and paranoid.” He said to Yuurei as they continued walking forward.

The berserker kept walking forward though and while they were moving through the area. While they were moving, they would hear whispers, but it would soon turn into yelling. That was bad and how it sounded it seemed like they were up to something. Yuurei was the first one in the group, so he started running towards the end of the path they were in. When he got out, he would see two people, and when he saw what they were touching he was surprised. It looked like some kind of contraption and to be honest he didn’t want to know what it could do.

The light mage wasn’t going to ask any questions right now as he would move towards the man. His gauntlet had magic poured into it and he would feel the power surging through him. He would get close to the man and he would punch him with all his might. It would send the man flying straight towards the wall as he would gasp for air and would fall to the ground.

He looked at him as he could see that he was unconscious from that one blow.

“What the hell is this? Is this a bomb?” He asked anybody that was around here.

He would hope one of them would have gotten to the woman because he didn’t go after them. Still, from what he saw they were planning something horrible.

Brone wasn't convinced by Kailani's feigning to be 'fine', but he shrugged either way; if she didn't want to express what was bothering her, if there was anything, then that would be her business and the dwarf didn't see any reason to interfere with her business. Every so often, Brone would look behind him to make sure they weren't being tailed, he had eventually began to wonder how long before they would reach the end, though his question would soon to be answered; he heard the sound of conversation, but suddenly died down. Brone took a moment to realize it was more than likely because those who were up ahead might have heard his ringmail armor; he then cursed under his breath.

Yuurei sped off and Brone was quick to follow suit. In case he needed to strike quickly, he drew his steel battleaxe just in case. When they reached the open chamber, he immediately spotted Yuurei, who had enough speed to act before the dwarf could enter the room, attacking the brunette man. In response to her ally being knocked out, the blonde woman was about to turn and run but Brone wouldn't allow it, he quickly tossed his axe at her. To her fortune, she managed to dodge the attack as the blade slammed and sank into a nearby column. Realizing he nearly killed the woman, Brone tried a different method, so he took off his helmet and threw it at her which then hit her head, knocking her out, "Didn't intend on killing her-" Brone was planning on making a joke when he stopped and realized the chamber was lined with explosives.

"By my beard" his voice was slightly shaky. He recognizes the devices since he had his own experience with such things, "My grandfather used such things to collapse tunnels, be careful with them or the entire chamber will collapse... and probably the guild hall above us" It all came together; they intended on destroying the guild by using a massive explosion.

Kailani didn't even have to lift a finger before both of the pegasi males swiftly eliminated the two threats. Inspecting them, they seemed to be wearing matching black outfits with a red 'R' on their chests. Was that some sort of guild or team outfit?

As she was contemplating this she heard her two friends exclaim something about a bomb that could collapse the entire tunnel. Fortunately, it seemed they had arrived in time before they'd finish setting up the explosives, still, it would be risky to move any themselves. They'd need someone more experienced to ensure they were all safely removed from the wall to lower the risk.

"Hey Jesse, James, what's taking you guys so lo- AHHHH!" A nasal-yet-swarthy voice echoed through from the corridor on the opposite side of the chamber, causing the wood elf's head to turn. There a cream coloured exceed with black ears and brown feet stood looking completely flabbergasted. He turned tail, attempting to flee back down the pathway he had appeared from.

"Capture him, but keep him conscious if you can!" Kailani instructed, hoping Yuurei wouldn't use too much force when chasing the feline down. Perhaps they could get him to question the exceed if they caught him.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at Brone as the man had knocked the woman out with his helmet. Of course, that was before he saw the freaking axe being thrown. He rubbed the back of his head as he heard his friend and then looked over to the new voice that was coming towards them. They had more people -coming towards them, but this voice was a bit weird. When he looked over, he would see that it was an Exceed, and he would look at it alongside Renji. It wouldn’t take long for the cat to run away, and while Yuurei was going to let him, it would seem like Kailani had other plans.

Once he heard the plan, the light mage would make his way. He would kick off the ground, avoiding the bomb and ran straight towards the Exceed. Of course, the cat would do his best, but Yuurei would grab him by the back of his fur as it would squirm around and try hitting Yuurei. It wouldn’t work and after seconds of trying he would sigh and give up.

“Good, give up. We aren’t trying to hurt you, but we are going to need you to help us out with something.” He said to the Exceed as Renji would shake his head.

“He’s saying the truth, so help us help you.” Renji would say this to him as they would make it back to the other two.

Yuurei would hold on to him though as he would look around figuring he would ask a simple question.

“What were you three doing down here? If it was to blow up the guild, what was the reason behind it?” He asked curiously as to what it had to say.

Seeing how the bomb was lined up with wiring seeming so crude, Brone agreed with what Kailani said, they needed an expert to remove the device, "Explosives like this might even take a full day for my da' to remove, and he's one of my clan's best demolitionists" the dwarf grunted. For a moment he wished he had taken up his father and grandfather's offer in learning how to handle such things, but the then young Brone never had thought he would need to learn of such things for he intended on leaving tunnel work to go on adventures, now he faced a dangerous situation, and he was afraid of moving a single step, afraid the explosive device was sensitive, he wasn't sure how it was setup, delicately or crudely through the wiring.

The sound of someone entering the area caught his attention, he was quick to grab his axes, but seeing it was just an exceed, he held back a bit, not worrying about the feline's wellbeing, but worried if he made too aggressive of an action, it may set off the explosive. Kailani called to capture the escaping exceed... without harming it, "Keep 'em conscious? That isn't my department" he chuckled and was glad Yuurei sped off to capture the escaping feline.

Upon the half-elf's return, Brone met up with him to get a better look at the feline, "Oy, Yuurei, maybe we ask the cat how to remove the bomb first, I don't like this comfort level".

Kailani watched as Yuurei rushed after the cream coloured cat, holding him in his grasp within mere seconds, clearly the exceed was not too fast on their feet.

"WHAAAA LET ME GO!" It cried, trying to furiously swipe at the light mage until it finally gave up. It would eye Yuurei suspiciously, clearly not believing that he wasn't going to harm him. Its eyes would shift towards the orange exceed as he spoke up.

"I don't have to tell you nothin'!" It huffed, clearly refusing to speak about any of their plans. The wood elf slowly approached, smiling sinisterly. She was just over all the terrible events that had occurred today.

"If you don't tell us right now, my friend here will be sure you never speak again, is that what you want?" Kailani was completely bluffing, she had no intention to physically harm the creature or request such from either of her friends, but the exceed didn't know that. It glanced worriedly towards where its comrade lay unconscious.

"F-Fine." It huffed, crossing its paws in a similar manner to what Nimbus usually did when he was pouting, "I don't know the specifics, alright, we were just given a job to set up the place and detonate it once we were clear." The exceed claimed, it didn't appear to be lying, "I don't even know who the client was, alright, they paid us without ever meeting us directly." It continued to blabber on, not giving any useful details. They were simply fulfilling a job for someone else? It seemed plausible.

"Okay... should we just hand them over to Fairy Tail, then?" the wood elf sighed, turning towards her companions for their opinions.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear the explanation from the Exceed once Kailani had threatened its life. It was quick to say everything that they needed to hear. That was good, 0but they didn’t have a clue on who had told them to come down here to try and destroy Fairy Tail. That sucked, but in the end, at least their plan failed. The trio would be able to save this guild from total destruction, which was a good thing. He would look at Kailani as he was more than happy to take these guys to the people of Fairy Tail.

“It’s their guild, so I guess we should hand them over to them. They will know what to do with them. At least we made sure that nothing bad happened to the guild.” He said as he would walk over to the guy he knocked out.

The light mage would grab him with one hand, and he would shake his head to what they were planning. Renji looked at the Exceed and he would shake his head at him.

“I’m upset with you. How could you align yourself with people who would do harm to do those who do good for the country.” He said to the Exceed.

Yuurei was holding two people, so he figured that Brone would be able to handle carrying the woman through the tunnel. The light mage would walk through the path that he and everyone else had come from. While he was walking, he figured he would let Kailani know that they needed to know about the explosives that were down below.

“I guess when we get up there you could tell them about the bomb.” He said to her as they would find their way back where the Fairy Tail member left them.

This was quicker to get here than it was to go through the tunnel. Yuurei knew there were no traps, so he had no worries. Now they had to go back to the surface level of the guildhall.

Brone watched as Kailani threatened the exceed by offering it to one of her friends, "Yeah, I could do it" he quickly said as he gripped his axe, not knowing that the wood elf was bluffing, though the dwarf's services wouldn't be needed, for the feline had given up the information, though it wasn't enough to point out who the culprits were, "Alright, so basically whoever is behind this deserves to get hit even harder" As far as Brone could tell, the three pegasi weren't told anything valuable, other than the culprits being a worse menace. The dwarf was about to turn about and return to the wiring of the bomb, but Yuurei was already making his way back the way they came, "What about the bomb?" he asked, but the half-elf was already in the hall.

The dwarf grunted annoyingly, hating to leave a sensitive device unattended to when it could go off at any moment, but what could he do other than go with Yuurei's plan and hope Fairy Tail has someone that could defuse such a device. So Brone walked over to the unconscious woman and with one hand, lifted her up and threw her over his shoulder before walking out, "Don't dilly dally, lass, we stopped the bombers, now we just need to head back and hopefully we can find out who these terror people are" he then walked into the corridor after Yuurei.

The walk back didn't seem as long or as tedious as it was before, luckily. Once they reached the staircase, Brone could hear the sound of people, the guild and the civilians that were taking shelter in the guild hall. Eventually they reached the area just before the entry into the guild hall. "Who's going to break the news the guild that the bomb is still intact?" he raised an eyebrow to Yuurei, giving a little sass in his voice.

They hadn't managed to really learn much on what was happening or why, but at the very least they had caught three of those involved. While two were unconscious, they would be fine after some rest, and then the Fairy Tail guild could easily interrogate them without too much hassle. They hadn't put up much of a fight, so she doubted they'd pose an issue for an entire guild to deal with.

The cream coloured exceed didn't say much after that, mostly just pouting and sighing over his situation. It wasn't long until they returned to their informant who was pleased to see they were okay but scared over the people they held. The wood elf calmly explained what they had found, including the explosive devices that made the poor young mage's face grow pale. Clearly, they hadn't been expecting this knowledge, they'd take it in and escort the group to their superiors, so they could detain the prisoners and send someone down to remove or deactivate all the explosives below.

Yuurei

Yuurei would continue moving through the area and they would soon walk up the stairs that would lead them to where everybody was located. When they got there, it would seem like Kailani would tell everybody about the situation and about what happen. He was glad that she was able to tell them because these three left a bad taste in his mouth. He would hand them over to some of the Fairy Tail members as it seemed like everything was over. He figured that they would be able to go back to drinking and enjoying themselves.

“I guess we can relax for a bit now that everything is over. Still, I’m not happy with everything that happened today.” He said out loud.

The light mage would move towards the bar as it was a tough, but interesting day. They really couldn’t enjoy themselves in the guild. Still, they were at least able to protect the innocent of people in Magnolia and make sure there weren’t any casualties

They had passed the culprits who armed the bomb over to the informant's superiors. There was a bit of situation where several people looked their way with concern even though the truth of the situation was kept secret, at least until the bomb beneath the guild was safely removed. With that stress gone, they could relax, though Brone stared out the window, wondering if more terrorists were out there, attempting another attack or coming up with another plan. As time passed, civilians were slowly exiting, returning to the city. It seem that the attacks had stopped and the guards who were scouting the district reported the attacks had stopped.

Yuurei had retired for a drink, but Brone kept watching out the window for some time before he finally decided to peel his eyes away and finally head to the bar and order a mug of ale. The fights were handled just fine, but it was the fact that the explosions were a distraction so a secret team can arm bombs under the guild that threw the dwarf off. He was skilled in fighting, trying to overpower the enemy in combat, but intrigue and deception such as what he had just dealt with was never his expertise and it bothered him. He knew he wasn't too quick mentally, and if it wasn't for Kailani, he wouldn't have ever guessed the true plan of the enemy, he probably would have died in the explosion without ever knowing the truth of what killed him.

Later that night, the dwarf drank more than he normally does to the point he actually had gotten tipsy. He would later sink into his bed to forget the night... for now.
