Brone Heavyaxe
Brone Heavyaxe had called Yuurei to the underground forge which was located to east of the guild's estate, by the main hall and underneath the master kitchen. The dwarf, unlike most of the time where he is heavily armored, is bare, no armor, no shirt, just donning his linen brown pants and boots. Neither of his companions were with him at this point, given that the heat within the forge is usually intense and whenever the dwarf was using it, the heat would be unbearable for most of the guild members, so he tended to have the facility to himself, which he preferred.

The dwarf made sure to get up early in the morning, and asked the messenger to tell Yuurei to make sure he arrived at the forge by first light. This was because Brone needed to make sure that neither of them would be bothered by any of the guild members who needed their attention during the day.

Once Yuurei enters through the large doorway, where the iron double doors were left open, there will be a message board hanging on the left side on the wall; large letters would say: "Note: request doors/hinges made of stone... iron doors won't close because hinges metal... architect is an idiot!" The handwriting is obviously dwarven.

Straight ahead across the entire circular chamber is a curtain of rushing water that makes up the southwest wall; the eastern waterwall of the estate. At the center is the actual forge, made of stone. There were several openings in which one can see fire and burning coals. Positioned all around the forge in a circle are a dozen of anvils, though half of them are slightly melted to a point of looking deformed.

And lastly, to the west is a large tank of water that seems to possibly be connected to the waterfall.

Brone would be moved here and there, making sure all the equipment is organized and accounted for. He would seem to be a tad impatient waiting for Yuurei to arrive. Not only does he want to teach the guild master of blacksmithing given that they found out of his family's history in the skill, but he also want to speak to him about several requests that would need to be acknowledged for the forge's sake, and for Brone himself. This would be a task that needed to be completed before morning calls for the guild members who will then be seeking the guild master for one thing or another.

Yuurei

Yuurei had woken up not because it was time for him to wake up, but because the messenger had knocked on his door. He would open it up and it would seem like he had a message from Brone. It would seem like the dwarf wanted him to meet him somewhere. This was interesting as he didn’t think Brone would send him a letter. Still, he was getting ready to see what his friend wanted. It would seem like he was going to be heading to an underground forge that was within the guild.

He knew how hot those things could be, so he decided to head over there with light clothing. He knew that he would probably sweat either way, but at least he wouldn’t be overly dressed.

He wouldn’t tell Renji where he was going, and he knew that the Exceed wouldn’t want to come anyways. To be in such heat would be annoying for the cat himself with his fur. When he got to the spot, especially through everything he had to navigate through the building until he would find himself in the main hall. He would make his way under the master kitchen and when he got there, he would see a door wide open. He wondered why this was opened, but figured it was to make sure that the room didn’t get overheated.

The Seraphim would try to close the door and it wouldn’t budge, which confused him, but he wouldn’t try again. He would just move to see what Brone wanted. He was wrong, but he didn’t read dwarf, so he didn’t know what it said and he would enter the place. He would continue moving through the area, and he would soon find himself in the room where they forget. It was nice as he examined this place as it was not an area he was used to being around.

Still, he could see Brone by the forge and he wondered what was going on. He would walk to him and he would smile at him.

“So, what did you bring me here for Brone?” He asked him curious to hear what he would say.

“Do you know what it said on the door by the way? I couldn’t read it and it didn’t budge when I tried to move it.” He said as he didn’t use all of his strength to move it in the first place.

Brone Heavyaxe
Brone was checking the coals within the forge, making sure fire was burning well when he had heard someone enter. He pulled away from the forge to see the half-elf, lightly dress, walking up to him, "Aye, the hinges on the door are melted, we need a stone door so that doesn't happen, one of my requests, but we'll get to that later" He said as he was rubbing his hands with a damp towel to remove the soot that was on his hands. The dwarf then walked over to a chest that was opened and pulled out a bar of iron before tossing it to Yuurei.

"We're gonna get ye started on smithing, since it's in ye blood after all" Brone said as he then gave the half-elf a set of long tongs, "Gotta make yer ancestors proud, now use the tongs to hold the bar into the fire until it turns orange-red, then take it to the anvil" The dwarf then picked up a hammer in his left main hand while his secondary arms folded across his chest. He would point to the fire within the forge. The intention behind this exercise was to get Yuurei to understand what his ancestors did, which was important in dwarven culture, for family and tradition was essential to a dwarf's way of life. Brone knew Yuurei wasn't an elf, but he felt he would give his friend a chance to feel some sort of connection to his lineage. The other reason was so that the dwarf would see if Yuurei had any potential since he came from a lineage of blacksmiths; and if that was the case, then the two of them would possibly have a chance at crafting amazing weaponry together.

Once Yuurei would begin to heat the bar of iron, Brone would pick up a large blower and begin to squeeze it, blowing air into the forge causing the fire to blaze wilder and brighter, increasing the heat. He didn't intend on telling Yuurei when the right time for the iron to be pulled out would be, but once the half-elf felt it necessary and put it on the anvil, he would hand Yuurei the hammer, "Hold it steady with the tongs and hammer it flat, we're going to make a basic sword". The most basic and common of all weapons for heroes, a perfect start for a descendant of great smiths.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear his friend answer his question without a problem. It would seem like that was awkward, but now he knew that he could have used more force, and if he broke it, then it wouldn’t hurt anybody. He shrugged because it was too late.

He wasn’t sure why he was here, but he would see a bar of iron being tossed to him. He would look at it as he caught it and looked at it. He examined it wondering what he was going to do with this, and then his attention turned to Brone as he spoke to him. He would chuckle as it would seem like Brone wanted him to learn how to be a blacksmith.

He walked over to the dwarf and would soon given the long tongs, which he assumed he would be holding the iron bar when it was being reconstructed in the fire. He would hear Brone’s words and he would smile at his friend as he was correct. This was going to be interesting and he would follow his friend’s instructions. Yuurei would put the iron bar down and then he would use the tongs to grab a hold of the piece of iron. Once that was done he would put it into the flames. He kept an eye on the iron bar as he was waiting for it to change the color that Brone wanted it to change to.

He kept watching and he would see that the fire had gone crazier. He looked at Brone really quickly to see that he was causing it. His focus goes back to the iron bar and watches it change it a beautiful color. Still, it wasn’t the color he wanted, and he kept waiting for it comes. It felt like it was taking forever, but it would soon come and he would pull the iron bar with the tongs that he was still squeezing on. He would put the iron bar down as he was still holding it with the tongs as he was given the hammer.

Yuurei would use the hammer and start hammering the iron bar flat. Yuurei made sure that he didn't use too much strength at first and adjusted it to make sure that he was using the correct amount of power behind it. He heard what they were going to be making today, so he envisioned what a sword looked like before he made the adjustments on the iron bar in front of him.

“So, I’m going to be a blacksmith and you’re going to be my teacher?” He asked as he was cool with this.

It would expand on the things he knew to do and make him even more valuable than he was before.

Brone Heavyaxe
Brone saw the color of the bar as Yuurei brought it to the anvil and he nodded. It was hot and soft enough to mold it well, but it meant that he'll have to hammer it quick, otherwise the metal would fall apart, "Hold it steady" the dwarf said as he pulled out chisel and a smaller hammer, then began to chisel off the side of the flat piece of metal, but only bits, just enough to straighten out the blade. He would step to the side to allow Yuurei to hammer it more before stepping in again to chisel it further such as the point of the sword, "Aye, if ye want to call me a teacher, fine, fine, either way, we're going to make sure that blacksmith blood in ye boils to life" he laughed.

After a bit, the orange light from the slap of metal dulled to a hot red, "Mark yer name at the end" he then handed Yuurei the chisel and pointed to the small end of the blade where it would slip into a handle. Once the half-elf finished signing is name onto his creation, the dwarf would point him to the slack tank where the still water was so that Yuurei could cool down the blade and return it to it's true color but this time with a new form.

The steam from the hot iron touching the water would fill the room as Brone would ask his request, "Oi, here is my request, come with me down deep into the mountain to find a magma chamber where we'll have a master forge" he would give his a friend a smile as this was their next adventure.

Yuurei

Yuurei would hammer it down and while he was doing that, he would hear his friend hand him some tips. He would hold onto the iron bar without moving too much as he would do exactly what he was told. While he had flattened the iron bar. His hand would come to a halt as Brone would make some adjustments to it. When he saw he stepped away, Yuurei would continue to hammer it down to make it flat and make sure to give it the shape that it needed.

Once he was done with his work, he would look over to Brone and he would tell him to engrave his name into the work. Yuurei would understand why he had told him to do that, and he would do just that. He would take the chisel that his friend had given him and he would carve his name into it. Once he had finished that he would move his blade into the water, and he would see the steam that was coming from it.

He was excited to see that this was how weapons were made. It wouldn’t take long, but he would look over to Brone as it would seem like he wanted to do something. He would hear him out and he found it intriguing.

“This sounds interesting. I’m fine to head down there and check it out. If I’m going to be a master forger, then I might as well find something that could tame my talents.” He laughed when he said this as he would take out the blade from the water and he would see that it had returned to its original color.

He would place it down and he would look at Brone as he was ready to go whenever he was ready.
