Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were having a relaxing day in the guild hall right now. They didn’t have any paperwork today, so there was no need to be in the office. He was hanging out with the guild members that were there. They were enjoying their time together as it was filled with conversations amongst other things. That was good and he was happy that he was in an environment like this one. While he was enjoying his time, he would feel someone walking in his direction, he figured it was just someone walking around, but it would seem like it would be for him.

He would turn to see who it was, and he would smile at them when he saw who it was. The man had a letter in his hand, and he would hand it over to Yuurei without hesitating. The Nephilim would take it and he would nod at him, and he would walk away from Yuurei.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at the letter and Renji would look over at him. It would seem like they were going to do a job today. He would look at Renji and it would seem like he was waiting to see what was inside as well. He would open it up and he would read through it. It would seem like they were involved in the Deep Green a bit more now. He was fine with that, and he would get up from his seat. He was going to do some more convincing on another old man who was too stubborn. He would crack his neck and he would look at Renji.

The Exceed would see this and he would get off his seat and he would walk over to Yuurei. He would climb on his friend’s shoulder as he was ready to go. Yuurei had his school bag and Renji had his own bag. They never left without it even if it was just to hang out.

Yuurei

Yuurei would walk out of the guildhall and the people there would wave at him. They knew that he worked just as hard as they did. They knew it was because he was young, and he wanted to do his fair share of work. Once he was outside, his wings would sprout from his back as he would look at Renji one more time before he took flight. Once he did that, he would start flying as they were heading to the Wood Worthsea. His travel was smooth and there were no interruptions around him. He would move quickly as he knew where to go due to the letter that he was given. He moved quickly and people would only be able to see a glimpse of him if they looked up at the sky. Once he was close to the forest he would start descending as he knew it was easier to look for the village on foot than from the air.

Yuurei and Renji would land on the ground and Renji would climb down from Yuurei and he would look around the place. The berserker would start moving and Renji would follow behind him. The trees in the Deep green would move around as they noticed that he was heading to a specific location. They could tell where he was going and decided to be his guide. The Nephilim and the tree had bonded through his time living in it. It wouldn’t take long, but he would make it to the village that he was supposed to be in. There, he would see the guards there and he would approach them. They would stop him right there, and he would look at them with a smile on his face.

“What is your business here?” One of them would ask him as he would look at the guard.

“I have a job to do here. So, can you let me in?” He asked the man waiting for him to move.

The guard would stay there and he would look back and they would get the chief’s son to verify this.

Yuurei would sigh and would step back he would put his hands above his head as he was waiting for his client to show up. It wouldn’t take long for that to happen as he looked stern and mad that they didn’t let him in. The berserker would smile at him as he would look at the guards.

“I’m sure you not ignorant to the world outside. You should know who this man is. Still, let him in as I was the one who invited him here.” He said to the guards.

They would step aside and Yuurei would smile at them as he walked past them.

“Pardon the rudeness Yuurei.” He said as the guard’s eyes widen they heard that name.

They knew exactly who he was now and they were happy he didn’t do anything bad to them.

“No, it’s okay. They’re doing their job.” He said with a smile as they were walking around the village together.

Yuurei would look around the area and he would see that they were all going about their daily lives. He could see that a few of them were worried about things but couldn’t say anything about it. He would look over at the man and he would smile at him.

“So, you told me in the letter that there are problems in your village due to your father the chief” He asked him waiting for him to give him more details than that.

He would look over to Yuurei and he would nod to him as he was correct about that.

“Yes, it is why I need you here. You’re a famous man with influence that everyone knows about when they hear your name. My father is being stubborn as he won’t agree to trade with a nearby village. It would be in this village's best interest if he did. It is why I need you to go in and change his mind.” He said to Yuurei as he was hoping he would do that.

Yuurei would listen to him, and he figured that this was the problem. He knew what he needed to do and he was going to do it. He didn’t mind helping the elves in the deep green as they were his family no matter how badly they treated him.

“Yeah, I can help with that. It shouldn’t be too hard to do that. He will see the right way and you guys will prosper because of it. Just take me to him.” He said to his client.

He would smile when he heard this as they kept walking.

“No problem it is where we’re heading to right now. I figured you would help your kind if they asked you.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile because he was a half-elf, but he had been given the powers of a Nephilim. He would still consider himself just that.

“Yeah that is true. I came here just to help.” He rubbed the back of his head.

It wouldn’t take long, but they would make their way to the chief of the village’s home. The guards there would look at Yuurei and then his client.

“He’s here to see my father. He means no harm, so step aside.” He said to them.

They would look at Yuurei one more time and would step aside after. They could tell from fighting experience that this man was on a whole different level. They didn’t want to get into any combat with him, so they hoped everything would go well.

Yuurei would look at his client as he would smile at Yuurei.

“I can’t go inside with you because it would make it harder for you to persuade my father.” He said to him and Yuurei understood this.

He would walk into the tent without a problem and there he would see more guards waiting. He would smile at them as he would walk to the path that they had given him. He was going to see this chief and get the job done.

Yuurei would continue moving with Renji on his side as they were finally approaching the end. When they got there, they would see a man sitting on a huge chair as if he was expecting visitors. At the same time, he was eating fruits from a bow that had them. The berserker would stop right where he was as he would look at the man and the two of them would look eyes.

“What is a half-elf doing here? What do you want Yuurei?” He asked him as he definitely did know who he was.

The berserker would smile when he heard him and he would crack his neck a bit as he would rub the back of his head.

“I’m here to do my best to convince you that your decision to not trade with the other village is wrong.” He said to him.

The chief would hear this and he would laugh a bit and he would sigh as he looked at Yuurei.

“Explain to me how my decision is wrong.” He said to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would hear this and he would prepare himself. Once he was ready, he would look at him with a serious look on his face.

“You need to understand that it would help your people in the village. You must think of them and make sure that they could get everything to survive this winter. Even if you don’t need what the other village has to offer, they need you. You aren’t going to let them perish because of that because then it would be on your conscious. It isn’t just that, but if you do this, then they will be indebted to you, so they will aid you whenever you need it.” He said to the chief as the man was thinking about it.

He would sigh as it seemed like the half-elf has grown into something that all the elves should be proud of. Still, he was right and it would benefit the village in every way in the future if things had gone bad for them.

“Fine, I will change my decision and go through with the trading. Thank you for your council Yuurei. You may leave.” He said to him.

Yuurei would bow to him and he would walk out of there. When he did he would see that his client was waiting for him. He would smile at him as he was glad to have gotten him to change his mind.

“He is fine with the trade. It wasn’t too hard as I made him see the reasoning behind the trade.” He said to his client.

He was glad that he had hired Yuurei to handle this, and he would take out jewels to give Yuurei. The Nephilim would take it and he would weigh it. When he felt it was correct, he would put it away with a smile on his face.

“Thank you Yuurei.” He said to him.

Yuurei would nod as he was fine with helping, but he and Renji decided it was best to be on their way. The Nephilim would grow wings on his back, and he would fly out of the forest and back home.
