Missing Child (Good)

Yuurei


Yuurei and Renji would walk through the streets of Era. They were relaxing in the city as things were getting interesting. Yuurei had been doing two things in this place, one was the rune that he had obtained, and he was looking for the other person that had it here. The second would be finding the lost page. They were doing their best to make sure that everything would go as planned. While moving around though, the light mage would notice someone was approaching them.

He would look over at them and he would smile at them. It would seem like they wanted to say something to them. He would come to a stop and the messenger would bow to them both.

“Marin Awedin, would like to see you both.” He said to them.

Yuurei and Renji didn’t know who that was, but they figured that it could be a potential client for that they could earn money.

Yuurei

The duo would follow the messenger as they would take them to what seemed like a restaurant. He wondered what was going on, but he figured that he would find out. The light mage would enter with the messenger and Renji. There, he would see the man name Marin, several Rune Knights, and five other people inside the place.

He would scratch the back of his head as he didn’t know what was going on. Marin would come to Yuurei and he would get close to him.

“Hey there I need to explain to you about a young girl that has been kidnapped, and you might be the only person who can get answers.” He said in a low voice.

Yuurei was surprised about this, but at the same time, he was up for it. If Marin would pay him, then he would gladly figure this out for him and find the missing girl.

Yuurei

Yuurei would walk and look over at the five people that he was going to interrogate. This was interesting, but the first person he would go to was the old man. It would seem like this man didn’t know what was going on. The Nephilim could see that it wasn’t him, but still, he had to ask him the questions and see how he would react to it.

“So there is a girl missing and I want to know if you know anything about that sir?” He would ask him.

The man would look at him and when he realized why the young boy asked him, he would get angry. He would stand up from the seat he was in, and he just yelled at Yuurei. The light mage would look at him and he would allow him to let it all out before he would walk away from him.

He might not be the person who did this. He thought to himself.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at the other four people and wonder if it was time to ask them questions. He would go to the young woman next, and it would seem like she was angry. He would step up to her and despite all her anger, when she saw Yuurei she would have a smile on her face. It would seem like all she needed was a pretty face to approach her. She would greet him and she would wave at him. The Nephilim would sit down across from her.

“Do you know who the kidnapped girl is? And where were you at the time of the kidnapping?” He asked her.

She would hear this and she would deny everything. It wasn’t just that, but she had told him where she was at the time. Still, she was annoyed with Yuurei and wanted him away from her now. Yuurei would get up from his seat as he would go on to the next person.

Yuurei would look at the third person he was going to question. This person looked like he was willing to cooperate with whoever spoke to him. That was good because it meant that he wasn’t going to give him a hard time. When he got to him, he would sit down and he would do the same thing.

“Where were you around the time of the kidnapping?” He would ask him waiting for an answer from him.

He would look around and answer him. He would nod as he was surprised to hear what he had to say. It was then he started shifting the blame on the last two people he didn’t talk to. Yuurei didn’t want to hear his opinion about that, so he got up from his seat and looked at the last two people who might have done. Three people down and he was sure none of them had done it, but there were two more people to go to.

Yuurei would move on to the fourth person. This person was an older woman who seemed paranoid and felt that everybody was out to get her. He wasn’t sure why, but he figured he would find out when he asked her the questions. They would both sit down across from each other. She would stare at him waiting for him to ask the questions. When he did, she would look at him and she would answer the first part of where she was. Then she would go on about how she thought and felt like the Rune Knights were in on this. She kept going and told him that he should ask them questions instead of her and the others.

Yuurei would hear her words and he would get up from his seat and move back to look over at the last person he had to talk to. These people look like they didn’t know the girl at all and had nothing to do with the crime.

Yuurei would move on to the final person and this one was a young man. When he got to him, he would speak to Yuurei and he would explain that he needed to go, and he didn’t have time to answer anything. The light mage explained the situation and told him the faster he got this done, the quicker he could leave. The man would answer Yuurei’s question, but his answers were so bad, that he felt like he wasn’t getting anywhere. He looked like the most problematic of them all, but even then, he didn’t seem like he did the kidnapping. The light mage would get up from his seat and he would leave the restaurant as he had to think about what was going on.

It was then he would hear a girl crying not too far from here, and he would follow the noise. It wouldn’t take long, but he would find a young girl in the alleyway of the restaurant.

Yuurei would approach the girl, and he would stop as he didn’t want to get too close to her and make her run.

“Hey are you the girl that everyone thinks got kidnapped?” He would ask her waiting to see what she had to say.

The girl would look at Yuurei when he asked that, and she would wipe the tears that were coming down from her eyes and she would nod up and down. He would sigh with relief as it seemed like the girl had not been kidnapped after all. This was good news, and he wiped his brow because it meant that they didn’t have to worry about her anymore. Still, he was the only person that knew this, and he figured that it was best to tell everybody else about this.

“Do you think you could with me to the restaurant? Everyone would like to know that you’re safe.” He said hoping she would be fine with it.

Yuurei

The girl was fine with that, and they would start making their way to the restaurant. It wouldn’t take long, but he would enter the place with the girl. The Rune Knights would look at Yuurei and the girl and they were surprised that he had found her. He would chuckle as the head of the knights would tell the suspect that they could leave. He would ask Yuurei where he found the girl, and when Yuurei told him, he would apologize to everybody as they were leaving. A few of them actually mad that he wasted their time. When they were gone though, he would thank him for finding the girl.

It wouldn’t take long until he would get the bag of jewels and he would hand them over to Yuurei. He was grateful the man had been able to help them out. This meant they didn’t have to look for her anymore and she was safe from danger.
