Yuurei

Yuurei had decided to stay in this city a bit longer. He didn’t like Abbadon’s actions, but he couldn’t allow that to affect him when there was work to be done. He had taken another quest, and it was from Merlin once again. The light mage would make his way into the woman’s mansion for the third time. He would enter the structure as he was told to meet her in her studies. He would be met Abbadon who would take him to meet his master.

When the light mage entered the room, he would notice that Merlin was busy working on something but paused for a second when she saw the young man who had been helping her recently.

"I'm here to help out with enchanting an amulet?" He questioned as he wasn't truly sure.

She moved through her room and to her desk and started looking for something inside of it.

Yuurei

It wouldn't take long, but Merlin would finally move towards Yuurei holding onto an Amulet.

"This is great because I was too busy to do this myself. I need you to take this Amulet and go through the tomes around this room. Do your best to understand it because you'll need to. I want you to enchant this stone as it will be a gift for someone dear to me." She said with a smile on her face.

When she said that she looked at the clock nearby and figured she would be on her way.

"I will be back soon, so don't stress yourself." She said this as she would walk out of the room.

Yuurei was left alone as he had seen the books that were around here. Where was he going to start? Renji got off him and took a corner of the room before falling asleep.

Yuurei

Yuurei looked around the area and soon enough he would randomly pick up a book. He would go through it to see if there was anything about enchantments inside. Of course, he would come to the conclusion that there was nothing for him here. He would close the book and put it to the side as he moved over to another book. He hoped this would work, so he started going through this one as well. The light mage wouldn't find anything in that book either. He would stack it on the other book that he had checked.

He would continue to go through the books in this room as he was hoping that one of them would give him the answers he needed. Still, it was incredible that he was going through everything in this room. The books would continue to stack and soon enough he would come across one specific book.

Yuurei

Yuurei would grab the book and he would look at it and soon he would read the title of it. He would rub the back of his head, wondering where this book was the entire time. The light mage figured it was probably hidden with all the other books, so he didn't get upset about it. He started going through it all trying to figure out what he needed to do. The half-elf would continue going through it all and soon enough he would figure out what he needed to do with this enchantment. If it was for someone dear to her, then he figured this enchantment would be good.

Now that he knew what he wanted to do, he needed to find the ingredients that would allow him to cast the spell on the amulet. The light mage figured that Merlin would have it in the house or else she wouldn't have him do this in the first place.

Yuurei

Yuurei would leave the room, and he would walk around the mansion. He would bump into Abbadon while doing so, and when he asked the Homunculus where he could find these things, Abbadon took him to a room. It had a bunch of stuff inside of it and the armored man would leave the room without saying anything to the guy. The light mage would look around the area as he was picking out things that he needed. He was excited that she had all these things in her mansion. It made him wonder who this person was as he didn't know much about Crocus.

He kept going through everything in the room and eventually he would find everything he was looking for. That was great, which brought him to go back to where he was in the beginning. He had placed all the materials on Merlin's table as he would sigh now because it was onto the next step.

Yuurei

Yuurei would put the amulet in the center of the table as he would put the materials around the amulet. He would look at it all to make sure that he had done everything correctly. Once he would do that he would start the enchantment and his eyes focused on the amulet. While he continued, he would see the amulet starting to glow and the materials were having their energy drained. It was actually working and he didn't think he would be able to do something. In the end, Yuurei would be able to get every to work and the materials used for the amulet would find themselves dispersing into nothing.

Their energy had been drained so they no longer had a purpose, but now he had finished creating the amulet. Now that this was over, he had to find Merlin. Yuurei would walk out of the study and he would see that Abbadon was around still.

Yuurei

Yuurei would make his way to Abbadon, and he would smile at him again.

"Hey do you know where Merlin is?" He asked Abbadon.

Abbadon would look at Yuurei and he would nod before moving in a direction. Yuurei would follow him as he wondered why he wasn't as talkative as he was before. He figured that Merlin did something to him, but he would leave that for another day. When he got to the room Merlin was in, she could be seen doing a bunch of work. She would pause for a bit as she would look up to see Yuurei was there with the Amulet.

"Ah you finished quicker than I thought you would. Please bring it here." She said.

Yuurei would walk over to her and he would hand over the amulet. Merlin would look it over and she would inspect it before coming to a conclusion that it enchanted the way she would hope for.

Merlin would start wrapping the amulet in a box as she was getting ready to give it back to Yuurei. When she had finished she would stand up from her seat and she would give the now to turn present to the light mage with a smile on her face.

"Please hand this to Luciel. You never met her before, but she should be in the library working on her studies. Abbadon will take you to her, so just find him." She said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would be on his way as he was heading out of the room again. That would allow Merlin to get back to work. He would look over to his right and he would see Abbadon waiting for him. Once they were next to him, the homunculus would walk him towards the library and he would stay out as Yuurei would be the one to enter. He would see how nice this place was, but where was Luciel?

Yuurei would look around the area as he was searching for her. He wondered where she could be as it seemed like this library was empty as hell. While he was searching for her Renji would wake up and somehow found himself walking around the library as well. He would screech a bit like a person in between a pile of books would catch by surprise. The light mage heard this and he rushed towards the direction to see Renji there. It wasn't just Renji, but he saw that a girl was there focussed on her studies.

"Renji why did you make that noise? And you must be Luciel?" He asked.

"I didn't expect to bump into someone in between books, and I just woke up." He explained.

Luciel would look at both newcomers as she would smile at them.

"Yes, I'm Luciel. How can I help you?" She asked curiously as to why he was here.

Yuurei

Yuurei would take the wrapped-up box as he stretched his hands out to Luciel.

"Lady Merlin wanted me to give you this. It's a gift for your birthday." He said to her.

Luciel was surprised that she was given a gift from Merlin this year, and she would grab the box. She found herself excited and opened it up to see that it was an amulet. She would place it around here quickly as she would jump up from where she was and spun around. Luciel was excited as she had a huge smile on her face.

"I'm so happy. Did you help Lady Merlin with this?" She asked.

"Yeah, I helped her out with the amulet." He said to her.

When she heard that she figured that she would give him a reward as well. She would hand him a bag of Jewels.

He was surprised about this, and he left knowing that he had done a good deed today.
