Finally, the promised day was upon them.
The Pegasus beach party marked the end of one season, and with it, the beginning of a new one. This year, it had an added meaning, for a new season had dawned upon the guild itself as well. Still in mourning for the passing of the Master, Alisa couldn't help but pick a black swimsuit, though she still planned on having fun. Even Lance's last wish made it perfectly clear he wanted everyone to take part in it - including Phantom Lord for the first time, or rather the first official time - and enjoy this party to the fullest.
And as a lover of all things Summery, however could Alisa not be the first to arrive, promptly taking off her dress shirt and draping it over a lounge chair. She wouldn't need it in a while. The sun shone high in the sky despite the morning hours, beaming off the artist's smooth skin, slick with sunblock; already bright enough to make her squint the moment she pulled off her sunglasses. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath of the salty air, making her chest strain under the tight confines of her swimsuit. It took quite a bit of work to pull off a garment like this, but then again, this too was a yearly event, worth every effort she could throw at it:
"...Now then, wherever shall I start~?", she thought out loud, an visible amused, but collected smile drawing on her face. Then again, this question had already been answered, the moment she'd seen the games she could choose from.
If looks could kill, the sculptress stood ready to slaughter one particular event, exploring the area until she found it: The swimsuit contest.
After a quick trudging path over shifting sands, shimmering ruby eyes finally settled on the game she was looking for, and walked over with a delighted smile. Of course, a good idea of the potential competition sufficed to tell her chances of winning were slim at best. It's not that she saw herself as more of less stunning than any of the beauties who would soon arrive, but she understood a girl's fame would naturally impact her chances, and she'd gone to great lengths to keep her fame from growing to quickly. She was perfectly comfortable with this, having sacrificed potential fame for a chance at keeping her true abilities secret. The less people knew about her powers and what she could with them, the better. The more those people actually believed those words, the worse she'll be...
For once, however, her reasons mattered little even to her. Alisa took a seat on a lounge chair, crossed her legs, and lazily took in her surroundings. She wanted not to fret over the destination, but rather enjoy the ride, watching all of the other contestants with as much interest as the audience might... And with a far better view.

Frosty hues glided over the beach and she’d see unfamiliar faces everywhere, all from different guilds including the infamous Phantom Lord. From the look of it, the Fiore-bound wizards seemed to be excited about the upcoming games that were to be held at the beach. Wondering which games should she decide to participate in, the female meandered over to the board where the list of events would be written down in details, as well as the rewards.
Fingers idly glossed over the piece of paper that was pinned up against the wooden board as Snowflake read over the lines. It wasn’t until a pair of cerulean eyes landed along one of those lines which gave an incredulous large amount of jewels as a reward. Eyes sparkled with amusement as a playful smile danced along the line of her lips before she made her way towards location of the game. It was a bikini contest and despite how she loathed being the center of attention, Snowflake decided to participate since the rewards were so damn good. With gorgeous beauties all lined up, it seemed as if she had no chance but despite her petite figure, she was still confident in her looks. There she’d notice Alisa, a fellow teammate, looking glamourous in a bikini suit like she always does.
”Seems like we’re going to be up against each other.”
Her words were directed to no other than her comrade, as she rested a hand on her hips. The colour theme she had selected for her bikini outfit was white, which was to be expected of her. The pearls and ribbons attached to her swimming suit gave her a more feminine look though she didn’t mind it the least, as long as it flattered her body type.

Bianca's purple hair complimented the rest of her swimsuit, the black fabric and yellow lining setting her out from the rest of the crowd. It fit her perfectly, suspiciously so. As men ogled her she made her way towards the stage, Bianca took no time to step forward onto it, showing confidence in her walk. She had to show the other girls she was better from the get-go. Given her optimistic mindset, she had a feeling this contest would be won by her, even if the competition was going to try their best. Of course, that wouldn't be nearly enough to stop a woman of Bianca's caliber.
While the real battle hadn't officially begun, Bianca figured that she'd take the time to make sure she was ready. She had practiced this, both in a mental and physical way. There was no way she would be beaten, especially not by these other girls. Carrying herself in a gracious manner towards a seat, Bianca awaited the start of the competition wearing a bold smile. She had the support of her guild always in the back of her mind, even if they weren’t all present here at the contest.

However, happiness radiated from the individuals that sauntered along the sandy beach with smiles adorning their faces as their sincere words of gratitude went out to the members of Blue Pegasus that hosted this very event for the sole purpose of enjoyment. Letting loose once in a while is a must, even for the blonde individual as she gazed across the sheet of blue that glistened at the touch of the sun's rays, swaying in delight as the sound of music and idle chatter echoed through the vicinity. Xandra too, let the the tranquil peace that surrounded her seep through her body as she let out a sigh. Her body was on display, as the blue piece of fabric wrapped around her chest and caressed her legs, which were further beautified with a small, red flower. Strolling over to the wooden board, her eyes grazed across the list of events which listed out the rewards. Indeed some allured her but captivating her attention was the bikini contest which seemed to have enticed a lot of people. She looked to her side, where sitting on the comfortable seats were three very beautiful individuals, one of whom she happened to recognize to be the majestic beauty of Blue Pegasus whom she had previously encountered. her cheeks reddened slightly in embarrassment as she recalled their encounter. Biting her lips in apprehension, she decided to give it a go. The reward was rather tempting, or at least, tempting enough to make her give this a shot. With a deep sigh, the statuesque female strolled over on stage with the same monotonous expression she wore on a daily basis, simply for the sake of presenting her beauty , which she didn't think was much, in fact, to everyone. She had an inkling that she might not win, but it didn't really matter to her. This might help the Knight climb over the high walls she built for herself. |

And one by one, her lovely competition slowly arrived, starting with Snowflake. Alisa's smiled widened at the sight of her guildmate, and indeed she might have preferred competing in a different round of the contest - more glory for the guild and all that jazz. That said, her friend looked stunning in that white swimsuit, highlighting her youth and purity, "Indeed... Let's try to have fun either way, shall we~?", she chuckled, fanning herself softly.
Truly, all of her competitors were people Alisa regretted not knowing better, all of them looking as gorgeous as they possibly could, and then more. She'd never been with Bianca more than five minutes at a time, nor had she seen Xandra sober. Indeed the blonde would ultimately grab the sculptress' attention the longest; her memories of that night were still a little hazy, and on some level Alisa figured the longer she looked the more she'd remember. She blushed softly when their eyes met, still not certain whether or not she had embrassed herself...
Like the cool beauty she was, Alisa looked her best when not caring, which was exactly what she did here, posing not from her feet but the lounge chair she was lying on, "Ara, has it started?", she asked nonchalantly, shifting her torso slightly to the side.

She got quite a decent impact, guys cheering, oggling wide eyed at the dark haired woman's sinuous form, taking in every elegant line and alluring contour. But this was not enough... Her guildmate to get people to cheer almost as loud without even doing anything (granted, Alisa wasn't really doing much either). She narrowed her eyes slightly with a split second display of alertness, and went for her next move.
"Yare, yare...", she uttered lazily with a faint smile and a fainter flush on her cheeks cheeks, brushing some hair behind her ear and stirring from her idle pose.
Now, Alisa fully understood doing this could give her even less of an impact that she did the first time and ultimately ruin her chances. But something like this could never beat Snowflake's glamour anyway. If she here, might as well put a bit of effort into it, right? Of course, in her case, "a bit of effort" simply meant getting her sexy butt off that lounge chair, and take a couple graceful steps across the stage, or rather, the makeshift wooden platform that passed for a stage. Deeming herself a lover of beauty of the purest kind, Alisa naturally felt she was showing off for the other three girls as much as the (mostly male) audience...

The static sound from the speakers echoed loudly before the loud booming voice of the host welcomed the participants. There was a short introductory where the host explained about the conditions of the contest and once it was noted that the event has begun, she would rise up from her seat, unkempt silver hair sashaying behind her as she walked behind the stage with the remaining girls. There, she queued up in line for her turn while the others walked up onto the stage and to the far end side of the runaway, showing their best poses and whatnot.
The female walked up onto the stage, hand resting on her hips as she inhaled deeply and swallowed a lungful of cool air before she climbed up onto the stairs. Ugh, she thought to herself upon seeing a large crowd of people in front of the stage. Snowflake was horrible at dealing with people and never once did she enjoy being the center of attention however, if it meant that she was going to get something out of this, then she was going to get this over with.

Beside the stage was another board where the audience was able to vote their favourite model. Cheers and whistles erupted in a loud roar once each model was introduced and as expected of her comrade, Alisa was composed and relaxed throughout the entire procedure as if she had been modelling her entire life. Despite her emotionless face, Snowflake did her best to look as appealing as possible which in turn, granted her a few chants and claps whilst she strutted along the runaway.
Upon reaching the end of the walk, the female would bend slightly, exposing much of her cleavage and blew a kiss over the audience, followed by a seductive wink, which seemed to have caused quite an uproar amongst the crowd. One by one, each model would climb onto the stage, show off their best bikini outfits as well as their voluptuous curves where every men would swoon over them. They would point fingers at those who they considered as their favourite, wide grins on their faces as they enjoyed the rest of the show. The afternoon sun blared down upon the Hargeon Beach as the games took place, filled by laughter and chants from every kind of games that existed. As she stared beyond the yonder, she would find herself smiling, thinking that she was glad that she was able to join the beach event. It was fun, after all.

Her blonde hair flailed around in an attempt to escape the cute hair accessory that kept those wild strands rather tame. Her heart beat quickened upon the arrival of the host as he earned cheers from the enthusiastic audience, comprising mainly of men. Calling the contestants on stage, Xandra followed the three other beauties as her ears blurred out the words of the speaker while she let herself wonder why exactly did she sign up for it. Lost in her train of thoughts and regret, she was only brought back to reality by the wild cheers that erupted from the crowd, allowing her gaze to flicker over to Alisa. It was no wonder that the woman attracted so much attention. In fact, all of them did. The Knight was never one to feel inferior, but she couldn't deny that she did feel a little more nervous than she did prior to observing them. Before she knew it, it was her turn. Staring at the crowd with her monotonous expression as she awkwardly stood there for a moment, she let herself simply follow the steps of those before her as she strolled across the stage, carrying herself with the same confidence as she always had. The blue cloth around her waist mischievously danced with the wind as her hair swayed along her back. Her tall, thin figure was truly complemented by the attire that she chose to wear for the event. She was rather surprised upon the cheering of the audience which made her uncomfortable, but strangely allowed her to have some more confidence in her pose. Letting herself loosen up a little, she found her expression softening, radiating a more casual and heart-throbbing look. She was indeed beautiful, but never found a reason to show it off but here she was, allowing people to glance at her while she was doing her best. The cheers became louder as let her bare feet take over, twirling and turning her subtly as her body relaxed while her eyes faded away from the gaze of others and onto the natural beauty of the vicinity around her. Of course unease settled within her as she could make out the unwanted ogling of a few but it was to be expected. Displaying her slightly toned, but lean body to the crowd, she halted at the front of the stage, letting her body naturally fall into a casual pose before letting a confident gaze meet her audience. Moments passed and she found herself wanting to leave and so she did, walking back to where the other contestants were present. An unusual feeling settled over her as she stopped her steps, releasing a sigh of relief. Surely, it was daunting but not entirely hated by the blonde. But whatever it was, she was glad it was over. |
