Description: Galantine is a heavy, 1,5m long sword adorned with a navy blue hilt a sleek, silvery design.

History: The most famous Caelese myth tells of a great king who forged the modern nation of Caelum, forming the state from which it descends. Most of that King's knights are still revered as legendary heroes in their own right, such the tale of Gawain, one of the King's strongest and most loyal Knights. So strong was his devotion that he recieved a sword from the Lady of the Lake, all but rivalling the Sacred sword Excalibur wielded by the King himself. The sword burns burns with the fury of the blazing sun, a weapon of justice and glory to smite the enemies of the King, whose power peaks in sunlight.

Effects

Nightless: Whenever the user draws Galantine, the environment in the thread changes to harsh sunlight, even in the dead of night.
Numeral of the Saint: During the hours of peak daytime or when under the effect of the Nightless effect, the user's sword takes on a coating of flame when swung. This causes their attack to deal fire-element magic damage over time with each hit, equal to the rank of damage dealt. This damage decays one rank per turn and lasts up to two turns. Additional hits reapply the effect, but only up to the rank of damage dealt.

Effect: The user runs their hand over Galantine's blade, coating it with flame before swinging out horizontally. The flames spread out all around the user up 16 meters away, followed by a searing eruption that deals 2S-rank damage and applies Galantine's damage over time effect. The user and their equipment are unaffected by the flames.
