This was the thing that Yuurei kind of told him about. The Talaz Lagaar situation with loyalists and seperatists and the hippies. Tamas wondered why wasnt there a 4th faction. The none of the above that doesnt want sides and loyalty nor peace. Just destruction and an ending. Thats what he wants.
But this wasnt about what he wanted. This was about the infrastructure. And well, Yuurei would fill him in more about the situation.
He wasnt sure what to think of robots, the machines. In his opinion this world was no place for them. So you bet he wasnt fighting for their separatism and freedom and peace.

"So, how do we do this" he got down to business and asked Yuurei. He was determined to do this effeciently. Couldnt let those hippies win. So he wanted to hear what Yuurei had in mind. Tamas didnt know since this was his first visit to Talaz Lagaar. Not counting that hospital. Like this is him here now finally, for real. Dealing with a real issue.

Yuurei

Yuurei was on another shift protecting the infrastructure. The Talaz Lagaar Loyalists had control of it and it would seem like the other two factions wanted to wiggle their way in. He wasn’t sure how they were going to do it, but so far, he was able to stop that from happening last time. This time it was different. He wasn’t alone, and he had Tamas with him. The last few times he had been here with him, they really didn’t do anything. This time he was sure it would be different.

Their job duty though was simple, they were guarding the door behind them. It was what they had made Yuurei do last time, but it made sense. Who wouldn’t want the strongest man in their payroll to protect the most precious thing in the facility directly? It would be stupid to even have him here if that was the case.

They could have had him wipe out the other faction’s camp, but that was a different story. Renji was sitting on Yuurei’s shoulder as they were guarding the door, it was then Tamas would speak to him.

Yuurei would look at him and he would smile at him because he knew that Tamas would enjoy this.

“Well we’re to guard this room. It seems like the other two parties try to wiggle their way inside here. We need to make that they can’t get through this door. Last time I was alone, and it was horrible. Renji and I were bored, and when they showed up it was not exciting for them either.” He said to Tamas.

At first guard duty sounded horrible, but things would lively up.

He listened to what Yuurei had to say and he nodded "Guard duty? Understood" he had no qualms about standing guard. He was trained for this bore of a gruntwork, he learned how to deal with it and not complain. Although it seems Yuurei had a horrible time. He was bored out of his mind all alone and when someone did show up, it was not very captivating as the guy insta finished everything in moments. Tamas nodded as he understood Yuureis woes

"If you wish, we could converse about something to pass the time? Although, I am not good at conversation. But I am willing to try" he spoke to Yuurei, tho the offer also extended to Renji. If they want, they can all just have a chat and keep an eye on things. And they can easily dispatch anyone who tries to weasel their way to cause trouble.

Though its not like Tamas knew what to talk about. Well he could say he is A rank, much like how Yuurei told him before to achieve that. Or maybe he'd ask him if theres something between him and Lumikki or the fact he saw Blue Pegasus people in Orchidia. Oh Tamas didnt know what to say. Hopefully Yuurei would have something to tell

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear Tamas and he was cool with having a conversation. It was interesting and he never thought he would hear the man bring up talking to kill time. That was interesting and he was fine with that. Renji wanted to test how his newfound strength. He had given Yuurei a blessing when he was around, but it would seem like Yuurei was doing the same thing.

“It seems like your old guild came to visit the North Yuurei. Do you guys think they will attack us or come to question what happened between you and Esperia?” He asked wondering what they would say.

“I don’t think we have anything to worry about. Blue Pegasus wouldn’t dare lift a finger against us. They would have to find another way to attack us. What do you think Tamas has there been any trouble from them around the North?” He asked him.

When he asked him though it would seem like something was happening. It wasn’t anywhere near them, but there was a commotion. It would seem like someone or a group of people were entering somewhere they didn’t belong. He didn’t leave his post though because he knew that if someone snuck by them while they went to see what was happening, then they would fail their job.

They did bring up Blue Pegasus. Renji thought they wanted to attack or something, but Yuurei doubted that. Though eventually the two would ask him.
"I think this may be a member who just wished to visit the north. I have seen them mostly in Orchidia and they do not seem to be leaving it. I have seen an artist making drawings of people. And she had a guild mate who acted as a body guard. Although the other guild mate seems fairly new and weak if you ask me. All talk type. So I believe this is just junior members using the ship for the first time to come and visit. Which is harmless" he answered

He stated his opinion. He doubted the Guild Master and Esperia made any plans. If they didnt they wouldnt be flashy nor stop short of the guild hall and just be in Orchidia. In a way he felt bad for those junior members who were probably oblivious as to what was going on between Paradise Dawn and Blue Pegasus. Though that may also be good? Who knows. He certainly didnt. He had no idea what Yuurei had in mind in regards to this or how he planned to handle it. Tamas had his own methods and Yuurei had his. Clearly he was gonna follow his guild master.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji would hear him, and it would seem like weaker members of Blue Pegasus were exploring the North. He would nod as he had met Michael, so he understood. He just thought he was the only one, but he was wrong. Still, if the newbies wanted to check out the North they were more than welcome to it. Who knew, maybe some of them would jump ship literally.

Still, it would seem like Tamas was aware of things that were happening in the region which was a good thing.

“I see, that is a good thing. I should have known that the ship that was in the air was Blue Pegasus. I used to use it in the past myself, but I clearly forgot about it.” He said to Tamas.

Renji heard this and shook his head because he didn’t know how anybody could have forgotten about that big ship.

“Well, if they attacked us wouldn’t it be better for us? You get to show them who’s stronger, and they kind of become a dark guild at the same time.” Renji said as he chuckled a bit.

“I wonder what’s happening over there.” He said this as the commotion that happened before had gotten louder.

It would seem like whoever or whatever it was getting closer. That was good because they would be able to have some action. Yuurei would crack his knuckles as he wasn’t sure what it was, but he couldn’t wait for it.

Renji would shake his head as he transformed into his human form. This would be the better way for him to fight and that was for sure.

“It seems like our fun might be coming sooner than expected.” He said to Tamas and Renji.

"I am not familiar with the guild ship. But from what I gather, they use it to travel the land. Seems less business, more pleasure" he spoke. Tamas would hear the two and their own discussions. They were interesting discussions. Personally he didnt know the Esperia issue as much as Yuurei. And he personally believes its just a rogue member doing things behind their Guild Masters back. Its just some things dont add up to him. If their Guild Master was sinister and had issues with Paradise Dawn, why sight see the north as if everything is peachy fine dandy. Its just some pieces werent falling into place for him.
He wished he knew more. Perhaps he needs to take Judiths position of being neutral and seeing both sides. Speaking of, he needed to speak to the woman in regards to her Guild Master position.

But as much as he was engaged in this conversation, he never stopped being alert. So he was aware of the commotion that was drawing near. Yuurei cracked his knuckles. Renji transformed, and he drew his sword.
"Good" he said in regards to Yuurei's words.

Back on the robotic topic. He never understood why would some people wish to help the robots. They had no soul, no emotion. They cannot feel and they cannot die. If you break them, you can fix them. They are numbers one's and zero's. They are artificial intelligence. Huge emphasis on artificial. Not real. Why go through the trouble. Humanity sometimes concerned him. This seemed illogical for him. Their compassion was extremely flawed. Even robots wouldnt show such compassion in their shoes. It was pathetic and sad. This is why Tamas had no empathy during those hospital missions. No amount of money was worth saving these people

Yuurei

Yuurei would hear him and he would nod as he expected much from them. It wouldn’t take long, but he would notice that Tamas would put out his sword. His eyes blinked a few times when he saw Excalibur in his hand. He tilted a bit as it confused him. It would seem like there were two of them, or the Mysterious Merchant had given them one from a different universe.

“Nice, you have an Excalibur too. It suits you.” He said to Tamas as he would swipe his hand down and his Excalibur would show up.

His other hand would swipe down as more stuff would appear on him. His Gae Bolg, Berserker’s Suit, and his Drakkon’s armor were now all present on him. He would crack his neck a bit as wings would put out from his back

Renji didn’t want the armor, so he was glad that Yuurei kept it. He would activate an aura that engulf Tamas and Yuurei and they would feel themselves much more durable than they were before. Yuurei would nod as this was good and he knew that Renji was on a lesser form to provide him luck with more jewels and such.

It was then that the group would appear as they turned the corner. It would seem like there were a lot and it was probably how they got through in the first place. They had stampeded their way throughout the facility, and now they were all looking at Tamas and Yuurei.

“Get out of the way!” One of them demanded.

Migi woke up and looked at the people not too far from them. It was then that he reacted and was ready for battle too. He would have two appendages sharpened and they were ready to strike though who got close enough.

“Well, this is going to be fun, so I will let you go first, Tamas.” He said to his partner as he waited to see what he would do.

Oh he completely forgot he had this sword. He was not used to it. Just as Yuurei blinked when he saw the sword. Tamas also blinked when he saw Yuurei's reaction
"Oh yes. I completely forgot about it. I am getting used to it." he spoke. He didnt have much to say. A blade was a blade. Perhaps one day, he will forge his own. He prefers that much more then buying stuff from Mysterious Merchant.

Renji used his own magic and activated an aura. He felt the auras effects. Which was right on time as their foes would rear their ugly faces. They had stampeded their way throughout the facility, and now they were all looking at the two of them. Plus Renji.
And one of them demanded that they get out of the way. Which in turn woke up Yuurei's sentient hand. Migi the sentient hand that made Tamas uneasy, then reacted as it or he was also ready for battle
"I will never get used to that" he thought to himself. Although seeing a battle ready Migi was somehow even worse. So it was best not to watch the hand. Come to think of it Yuurei takes the phrase 'talk to the hand' on a whole new level. Anyway that doesnt matter now. What matters now is their job here

Yuurei

Yuurei was waiting for Tamas to go first, but it would seem like he was ready for battle more than anything. Renji would look at the two of them and he would shake his head. They were taking too long to do anything, so he figured he would do something instead.

He would run up to them with his newfound strength and he would end up in front of the man who told them to get out of the way.

“You shouldn’t have come here in the first place.” The Exceed had said to the man as he would land a punch right on the man’s cheek.

It would send the man flying to the wall and he would be taken out with that one hit. The people that were with him were shocked to see that happen, but that was when they would shout and they would go after Renji. The Exceed would dodge a few attacks and he would kick another person in the chest before using him as a way to get away from them. He would land in front of Yuurei and he would shake his head.

“You are fools for even trying to take this place over. Still, you’re going to remember all of this pain in the end.” He said as the two people he had hit were out cold.

The group was surprised that one person could do so much damage with one hit. Yuurei would look at them as if they were a bit worried about what the other could do. The Seraphim would just stand there as he wasn’t going to be doing anything right now. He wanted to see what Tamas could do and their sword were able to do the same kind of stuff.

Renji was the one to draw 'first blood' with his attack and punch which rocketed an enemy like far away which left the opposition shocked. But in retaliation they attack. The Deceptively Strong Exceed would dodge attacks and kick another person.

There was a short exchange of words, but soon enough it would be his turn to act. He was still getting used to this sword as it was a one handed one, so it was lighter than what he usually worked with.

He wasnt quite sure how lethal they can be or if they can be lethal, so he decided to go with Renji's route of just damaging them non lethally, but painfully.
This time he charged in for the attack and was able to deal with the opposition easily. He prefered to knock out and down as many as possible to make their guarding job a lot easier.

Yuurei

Yuurei would watch Tamas go in and fight. He didn’t use the spells behind Excalibur, which was what he wanted to see, but it made sense why he didn’t use it. He could have destroyed much of the building’s integrity, which wouldn’t be a good thing. Still, watching these two beat up everybody was nice to see. They were going to work and it was as if they didn’t need him. He would just stand back as he was guarding the door. He didn’t need anybody sneaking past him, so he would just watch the two of them fight.

Renji saw that Tamas was fighting, but that Yuurei was staying back. He would shake his head because he didn’t think the Guild Master would do this, but he kind of understood at the same time. A person would run toward him and Yuurei would see this.

“Renji behind you!” He shouted as if he was coaching the Exceed.

He would turn to look around and he would dodge the attack and he would lead it up with an uppercut to the bottom of the man’s jaw. He would go up into the air and back down as he was taken out with ease. He would look around and he would shake his head.

“You could have joined in on the fight.” He said to Yuurei.

“I figured I would let you two handle things. I will make sure nobody tries to enter this place by sneaking past us.” He said to Renji.

Yuurei looked over to his left as he would sense someone moving closer to him. He would shake his head as Migi would stretch to that person and he would cut them without hesitation. He made sure it was enough to knock them out and have it be life-threatening. The man would reveal themselves as they fell to the ground. Yuurei would look over to Renji and chuckled.

“See, told you it was good for me to stay behind.” He said to Renji as he hoped they would be able to clear everything without him.

Tamas didnt use the swords spells because not only would that be overkill, but truth be told. He forgot he even had them. He wasnt really used to this sword. He is hoping to later master smithing skills so he can make one of his own. One that suits his style of combat more. But for now Excalibur would be suffecient. It just wasnt his cup of tea. It felt more like a Yuurei sword rather than a 'Tamas sword'. But still it was a useful blade nontheless

Anywho he realized that Yuurei wasnt really joining this quest, more like back seating it, which was kind of annoying. So it was mostly him, Migi and Renji doing things. Which you guess is enough right? Still it is annoying someone is just chillin back and like merely patrolling to make sure no one slips by. But considering 3 people were holding away the enemy from breaching. Did he need to pay attention to that too?
So right now tho. Did they clear everything?

Yuurei

Renji wasn’t sure what Tamas was doing, but he didn’t have time to wonder. He figured he was deep in his thoughts because of Yuurei not joining in on the fight. Renji didn’t care because it would mean for him than anything. He would strike down another unwanted guest, but soon after he would feel someone striking him. He would feel the punch connecting to his face as he stumbled to the left. He recovered quickly when he noticed that someone was coming at him with a sharp object. They were going to be getting him with that.

He would pivot his foot after recovering from that last attack to dodge the swing. It was then he would counter the attack with his own as he would slam his fist into the man’s face. It would knock him out instantly as he would see that he didn’t have the stuff that Yuurei had, which made things harder for him. Yuurei was helping just not with how they might have wanted to help. The person that hit Renji was close enough to Yuurei for Migi to attack them. It was then the appendages would extend ten meters and it would slice the guy who hit his friend.

It was then his appendages would snap back to where they originated from. He figured he would also watch these guys squirm from where he was and he would toss Gae Bolg straight toward someone he could see. It would be launched quickly toward them and before they could dodge or do anything they would be impaled in the arm.

The shock from the pain would knock them out and the spear would appear in his hand once again. Their numbers were decreasing and honestly that was a good thing for them. Renji would continue striking down the men here taking down their numbers.

Yeah so they had to fight the incoming enemies that wished to sabotage the infrastructure. And he was doing just that, fighting those foes, swinging his blade and injuring and taking down the foes. Fighting with a one handed sword was interesting. It was certainly lighter then what he was used to. But he and Renji and Migi would get the job done fighting these enemies. He just had to think what were THEY thinking. Just charging here head on.
One thing Tamas was never certain when doing quests with the guild master was, how lethal can he be? Certain quests dont really specify those things and leave it open to interpretation, so when he has the chance, he usually goes in for the kill. But doesnt really do that when he's with the guild master.

As he glanced towards the guild master, he noticed one slippery guy just stealthing about and he tossed the sword he had to impale the enemy. Which he did. Of course now that meant going on to get it. He turned his attention back to the fight, even though he was disarmed, he was not defenceless. So he fended for himself against intruders

Yuurei

Yuurei would be watching things unfold as he would look at his Gae Bolg and he figured that he wouldn’t be using this for the time being. If he was going to stand guard by the door and fight alongside with them, he would have to use a different weapon. He had a smirk on his face as he had known which weapon he was going to use.

“This should be fun.” He said this to himself as he would switch a few things.

His Excalibur would change into Zabimaru, which was another sword of his. When he got this, he would immediately awaken the sword and it would become a huge weapon reaching around twenty-two meters long. The other hand would replace what was being held and it was now his Giant Fork. He was going to use that just in case someone was stupid enough to use a huge spell.

Yuurei would look at Zabimaru and he would swing the blade. It would move through the area, masterfully avoiding his allies and it would slap a bunch of the people there. He wouldn’t use his gun to shoot as he didn’t want to truly damage anything.

Renji saw this and he would laugh because he figured Yuurei didn’t need to move to be able to do a lot. The Exceed would dodge the attacks coming after him and then counter attacked when they were distracted by Yuurei’s attack.

Migi would also take advantage of this as he would stretch his arms to take out a few of the men that were in front of him.

The fight raged on, he would go and swiftly get his sword back. He would fight more and just swipe and slash with his sword. The fact he battled with a one handed sword was odd, the weapon felt very light in his hand and so he felt the sword was doing all the work. It was the makings of a good sword where he didnt need to focus on its weight and how he has to swing.

Its motions were fluid and smooth. He took the time to actually study the blade as he used and fought it. The sharpness of it as he'd cut a foe and everything about the blade geometry. Ok now part of him wondered if he should go back to the guild and properly review it after this mission

As he was dealing of his side of trouble. Others would be dutifully doing their part too, like Migi doing its own creepish fighting. ... yeah, he'll never get used to that thing. He still tries to erase its existence from his mind.

Yuurei would join the frey and his weapon would change into Zabimaru, which was another sword of his. Tamas believes he did see Zabimaru at their sparring session. It was one of the swords he'd get to choose. But he just didnt like it as it didnt suit his fighting style.

Yuurei awaked the swords power and it would become a huge weapon reaching around 22 meters long. And there also was the Giant Fork, which he cant remember if he saw previously or not. For a while Tamas would focus on his end of the fight against any that tried to sabotage the infrastructure for the time being

Meanwhile on the other end of things Yuurei would look at his Zabimaru sword and he would swing the strange blade. The sword would move through the area, masterfully avoiding all allies and it would slap a bunch of the people there. Tamas checked on Yuurei just to see how he fought and he could see the guy was holding back. Clearly not wanting to kill anyone. Which was a shame, in a way the two had opposite views how to deal with things. But it figures an angel would be merciful

Renji who was Yuurei's companion would laugh, clearly knowing a lot more of his guild master. It made the knight wonder, how long were those two together. He doesnt remember if he asked how they met or how long have they worked together. Nevertheless the two worked well with their teamwork, making sure not to be in eachothers way when attacking and defending.

The terror hand Migi, that he wishes he could purge from his mind was still there. He'd stretch its 'arms' and take out some more men. It was still a freakish sight. Tamas wondered did they need to work together. He was pretty close to Yuurei's S rank challenge. He felt that way at least and he figured he could probably take solo stuff. He thinks the guild master could probably help some weaker members. As Tamas believes he has improved since being in this guild. Strength wasnt his problem anymore. It was more people skills that he needed to work on. Leaders have a certain likeability and charisma. And Tamas knew he lacked that. He was aware of that, he was a bit too introverted. It was one thing he didnt know how to fix. Cutting enemies, while bringing him joy, would not bring him the answer he seeks in regards of that

Yuurei

Yuurei didn’t mind killing people, but he just didn’t think these people were worth death. It didn’t make sense to kill those who were weak. If someone was strong here, then he wouldn’t hold back, and whatever happened would be the result of the fight. Still, it would seem like the fight was coming to an end. This was good and he could see that Tamas had gotten stronger indeed. He was happy to see that, and he would look over the remaining people that were there. Migi would stretch again and he would slice some more people up. Renji would finish the few that were remaining around him. His attacks were stronger than they ever were, but it was due to something Yuurei had bought recently.

When the fight was over, Yuurei would snap his hand back to normal and Migi would close his eyes as he was done fighting for now. Zabimaru would turn back to the blade that it originally was as he would look over to Tamas as he would finish up the people he was fighting. He would look around the area to see if he could feel anybody moving that might have been invisible. It wasn’t just that but he was making sure that there was more coming their direction. When he saw it was clear he would smile at Tamas.

“We are finished here. I don’t think there will be anybody else heading to this place. We will stay here for the remainder of our shift and get rewarded for it.” He said to Tamas as he was calm and relaxed.

It wasnt long before they finally managed to defeat everyone here. He shook his head as this was ludicrous and insane. The amount of people wanting to sabotage the infrastructure. It was insane. But he figured considering it was Yuurei who was protecting it, they thought to overwhelm him with numbers instead. A good idea, but they needed a lot more numbers to overwhelm him and exhaust him. Unfortunaly for them, he doubted anyone could do that.

He would look at Yuurei and as the man smiled at him. Tamas would merely nod to him in return. Yuurei would then let him know now that they cleared up the enemy and made sure the place is secure, all they have to do is like stay here for the remainder of their shift and then be on their way and get rewarded for it. A job well done indeed. The next shift will even have it easier. Or more boring. Depends how you look at it.
Either way, he was looking forward to ending this shift and getting some rest and relaxation. He also wanted to learn more on the robot situation. Perhaps he should ask Yuurei that after the finish the shift. It would give them something to talk about outside their work hours since he knew that was important to Yuurei
