Kaito walked into the some what lush greenery with a white coating of the east forest the clouds hung in the sky like it might snow again so there was sunlight but in a dimmer measure, he heard snow and frozen plant life crunch under foot while heading for the river he knew so well to fulfill a promise he made to his exceed companion, Revy for a decent sized fish. The heath colored exceed riding in his hood seemed excited, he wonders if he is spoiling her, but it isn’t like she doesn’t deal with a lot of things with being around him and the misadventures he ends up going on, to be honest sometimes he felt like she was his only friend. He enjoys the sounds and sights of the nature and animals that surround him as he walked enjoying the breeze on his mask and through his hair.

He reached the river and he gently placed Revy on the ground a bit of snow crunching under her as he placed her, then removed his cloak revealing his skin that would be exposed from removing the cloak is bandaged up, then he placed in on the ground then sits on it by the river and has Revy give him his fishing rod from her dimensional bag. He casts out to begin his wait for a bite in the calmly flowing river. He watched for a bite with baited breath, then closed his eyes just taking in the sounds and feeling of the environment he is in. He can sense Revy watching the water with excitement for the fish he would catch her to eat. Revy is trying to keep her composure and not look as excited as she feels so not to give away how she truly feels to anyone that might be walking past, she wishes she had the patience it took to fish but she is a woman of action so she in turn lacks the will to just sit and twiddle her thumbs and rather strike forward with gusto.


She lacked a fisherman’s spirit but not the burning passion to eat and catch them. Revy notices the forest has started going quiet, she looks around wondering if a storm is coming or if they sensed her hunters pride and want for meat. Kai looks at her figuring she was off in her own little world, he swears he can see her shining a little with pride, for some reason. Kai rubs the back of his head with a small laugh at Revy, he returns to his task of catching her a big one and enjoying nature.

What was she doing in here? At Magnolia, a place that has no meaning to her. A woman of white hair, wearing sky blue attire. Her dress looks like it was created by silk clouds and the water it cries. It was made of multiple layers and motioned through air freely like feathers against the crisp air as the bird flies. Her sash was decorated with silver and blue as the gems dangled in the middle. Quilla looked bright as the white fresh snow that will soon fall once again. Against the greenery, she was a beautiful flower that has a curvy body that could make a goddess jealous. None of that mattered though as the silent priestess of Joya roamed silently in this very Forest.

This was perhaps a good time to be away from Akuko as she will need to find new and more people. Will they be enemies, allies or perhaps more? The sound of water was singing into her ears as she was getting closer to the source. As she was exiting the Forest she saw a dwarf-cat with an attire of a human and a human boy. Does she say hi or should she stay silent and study the Fiorian and their companion? Her hands clenched on the bark as she was getting frustrated with herself.

What if he runs off? She hasn't spoken to a boy. "Are you perhaps fishing for a source of survival?", she wondered quietly in her calm and soothing accent. It was perhaps a stupid question, but at least she spoke up instead of beating around the bush. She hated when people did that. Her eyes gazed at him innocently though as she was genuinely curious.

He tilts his head backwards looking at her through his mask as he heard someone speak to him which surprised him a bit as he hadn't heard or sensed her coming from behind himself through the snow that should have crunched underfoot of this woman, he thinks of a dumb question and figures no harm in asking it, but he isn't sure if she speaks Fiorian but he though that is what she just spoke. "I am fishing for my friend here she like fresh fish. Now I have a question are you by some chance a goddess of some sort?" He looks at her upside down as his head is tilted backwards, he feels an aura of more then she appears to be, but he isn't quiet sure.

The exceed stands up and bops him on the arm."That is rude of you, you should introduce yourself first has Judith thought you nothing?" The exceed wanders over toward her and looks up at her and smiles. "I am Revy and that bone head of a human is Kaito of Fairy Tail."

"I guess I should do it right. But be forewarned I am pretty ugly." Kai laughs a little then removes his mask and he reveals his face he isn't really bad looking he just holds himself to the standards of the elves he grew up around. "I am Kaito of fairy tail
nice to meet you miss." He smiles and waves as he gets a bite on his rod.

She covers her lips with the loose sleeve made of see-through silk that wavers in the air as if it was a breeze itself. She giggles sweetly as the duo were being quite funny in the simplest way. The boy's name was Kaito, a human of a place called 'Fairy Tail' and his companion's name was Revy. Who was Judith? His girlfriend? Quilla decided to play dumb and put down her sleeve to reveal her slick smile, "My name is Quillareine, but you may call me Quilla. The pronunciation is key-ya,'" she introduced herself back to them. Her name was after the Goddess in her other country that she was a part of as Reine was actually her middle name from Minstrel.

Her accent was making it obvious that she wasn't from here, but she did learn quite a bit of Fiorian during her short time here. "Do... Do you mind if I sit and join?", she kindly spoke. She wasn't sure what kind of place Fairy tail was, nor this boy so she felt like she should play coy. It was how she acted before she broke during the war personality-wise. "Close, but no. I could never be a goddess yet I am a Priestess of Joya," she answered his wonders. Her eyes of gold motioned to Revy as Kaito caught something from the water. Her eyes motioned back to sitting next to Kaito and watched Revy see the reaction. Quilla has learned that some companions were territorial of their human and some wanted them to grow. Maybe someday Quilla will get her own. If there was no initiation then her attention went back on both of them. "I came from a far-away Country called Joya and recently came here with my dear friend...", she paused, "Are you from this one?", she wondered.

Revy smiles at her and leads her over,  she is trying to be on her best behavior, knowing this woman might be something special if she got the drop on Kai of all people.  "You have a very pretty name miss Quilla. Of course you can join us probably safer for you than wandering the forest alone." Kaito blinks unsure why she would want to join him but he shrugs as he wasn't really doing anything like important or life saving. He picks up on her accent and he hears that she is in fact Joyan from it so he figures her story of being a Joyan priestess checks out.

He uses his frost magic to make her a seat so she doesn't have to sit on the ground like he is. He hopes it is to her liking as really he isn't sure how long she will be staying around them, but like Revy said it is safer for her to be near them then just wandering around out in the forest alone and she doesn't look like she is armed so she must be at least decent with magic. "What is a Joyan priestess doing in deep in the east woods? Are you looking for the creature of light I saw here a few months ago?" He pulls in a great sized fish and he gives it to Revy who puts it in her dimensional bag for later.  "I am unsure what country I was born in, but I was kept till I was around 12 or 13 in a testing lab that sat right on the boards of Seven, Bosco and Iceberg, from there a high elf woman saved me and took me to her small village that I will not reveal the location of, I have been in this country for less than a year." He touches his arm and feels the bandages and guesses he should forewarn her in case she tries to touch him. "My skin is cursed please if you see exposed skin don't touch it." His words sound kind but firm toward her as he makes eye contact with her with his hazel eyes and he smiles to try and not make himself seem scary to this woman cause he can come off scary and intimidating to some or most people he comes across normally.

Her eyes gazed at him with searching of one's soul and so far he seemed defensive of touch, but otherwise concerning of the woman. Seven, Bosco and Iceberg were Countries she has yet to search through for her own mother. The fact that an Elf saved a human was a little unique as she knew Elves stayed to themselves mostly. "I will not pry on secrets that you do not want to tell, young one,~" she paused for a moment as she smiled sweetly.

"If you must know, I ran away from my duties to find my missing mother. I tire of fighting in their wars, dancing for the spirits and looking beautiful just so I can be sold to the highest bidder from those so-called Royals and Nobles." she told him as her eyes continued to stare at Kaito. "I wonder though, do you feel... full?", she questioned mysteriously in her breathy soft accent. Her eyes looked down at the water stream as she lifted her leg to let her now naked feet feel the coolness. A satisfied smile went across her beautiful and young-looking face.

He feels relieved she didn’t question him further on the village. ”Thank you for not wanting to pry. ” he listens to her story and he wonders what and why they would sell people of spiritual standing. Her asking him if he fells full for some reason unnerves him slightly he also noticed she hasn’t broke eye contact with him, like she is seeing through him like a window. ”Wait they sell people in Joya? What do you mean do I feel full? ” He wonders if she means spiritually or hunger wise. He watches her put her foot out he figures she just has to let her feet breath and he doesn’t question it.

” So if you are all this that you say you are, are you not being pursued to take you back therefore a bounty on your capture and return? ” Revy is testing to see if this woman will panic and show her true colors or not. Kai looks at Revy wondering what that out burst was about if she was picking a fight or if she had a point to make, he then looks back to Quilla for a response or reaction to it.

"When the last surviving parent is about to die, they tend to want good things for their daughter or so they believed. So, they try to find wealthy people who may be interested in their daughters to sell to them. Sometimes they go horribly wrong," she sighed and lifted up her foot from the water to let the water slide down her leg and droplets falling to the ground. Her eyes watched the free water go where it pleased. It was quiet for a little minute till the Santa looking cat spoke.

Her head twisted to look back at them and gave a weak smile, "Of course they are. I wouldn't be the first who have fled here," she frowned as she remembered a girl named Fye. She was a Sinese girl who was partly Joyan. "Once there was a girl who also ran away. She was from a different area, but she ran away, came to Fiore to hide and it lasted for about a year. Sadly, they found her and they killed her due to her fighting back. She was just a field worker... and they treated her body like a rag doll. Stuffed her body in a tree hole for her friend to find," she paused and looked away as her eyes were filled with sorrow. She knew the Joyan Royals were coming for her. They weren't going to send some savage investigator like they did with Fye.

Quilla was a priestess, a Samari that fought for their wars and a princess that was most likely sought out to marry some snob and do their bidding. Was that her fate in the end? Her head looked back at them with the same weak-ghostly smile as her eyes sparkled of cold topaz, "I won't let that stop me though for searching my mother, find who I am and to finally feel full," she paused as she then realized Kaito asked the question earlier. She took a deep breather and looked forward out to the wilderness, "Fulfillment, a feeling of satisfaction of your life to the point where you're happy. I... cannot feel true happiness nor full satisfaction of anything I do, see, taste, and etc.," she softly spoke in sorrow. It's true she could feel simple satisfaction, but to feel happy about it. She can't feel happy.

He pulls his line in and is paying full attention to her, he can see the point but selling someone like they are an item is not really okay with him, though he figured this woman would probably go for a good price if even only half of what she said was the truth. "I don't think I could bring myself to sell my daughter off if I had one. Not that I could even touch a woman." He laughs at his own misfortune, but he does feel the pang of pain of it.

He sits straight up looking at her. "Wait did that really happen?" He feels a shot of anger but he doesn't let it show cause that is the first step to not letting an enemy know you might have a weak spot in your judgement. He tries to think about it what kind of monsters could do such a thing to someone else that was living and breathing like them.

"What is your mother like? who is she?" He tries to get the images of a body left like that out of his mind and turning his interest to the woman and her search for her mother. He hears her words on what it meant to be full and he realizes he is also not full. "My master told me not to force filling the hole I have in myself that it will come in time." He smiles at the woman and he isn't really gonna let himself worry over the hole he feels in his soul. He swaps the topic back from his master to her mother. "You got any leads on which way to even go to look for your mother?" He lays back on the snow looking at her.

Revy is not really pleased with how relaxed Kai is acting around this random woman wandering through the forest with a story of being some high ranking and highly wanted woman, it smells fishy and her being a cat she can tell when something smells fishy and just not right about something like this woman has more to her then what she has shown. Revy wonders what this woman's end goal is to take to a random commoner like Kai, well she thinks to herself Kai is not really common he is a bit too weird to be super common Revy keeps her eyes on the woman.

Her eyebrows arched as she saw a hint of anger from the boy. Was he sensitive to hear such details? She took a deep breath and didn't give any hint of any emotions as she stayed calm with a hint of sorrow. "My mother... Was told she died giving birth to me only to find out that she is alive and out there. Why did she abandon me? I don't know...", her voice was becoming more ghostly as she spoke about the subject. He seemed really curious, but so was she when it came to her own mother.

"I do not," she calmly spoke and then gazed up at the sky, tilting her head. She wondered if she perhaps missed anything on the Islands and Countries she searched. "I have searched many places, but I wonder if maybe she never left the country... What if she stayed in Joya but hid in a different City or town..." she speaks off without much thought. She knows that if she goes back to Joya, the Royals and Nobles will be looking out for her. She remembered the look the prince gave her every time they met. If she was caught, would it be him she will have to give servitude to? Her eyes cornered to look at him who she realized was closer to him they she thought. Her cheeks had a small hint of pink as she isn't used to just chatting with a man. She fought wars beside them, mourned them and yet this felt different. Something was speaking to her curiosity from their earlier chat, his skin.

She retreated her foot from the water slowly, so she didn't worry them about some sneak attack and then scooted closer. Her eyes will never leave his besides to watch the cat. The one who seemed suspicious of the Priestess Princess. The eyes of Rubies, blood of her enemies, they were beautiful like his soft pure skin. She had scars, tattoos and hid them well. She remembered him calling himself ugly, but wondered if it was because of the people he was raised around.

Her hand approached his face to touch his cheek and as their skin came in contact, she felt a shock through her nerves. Her heart felt a heating beat and saw things. The things she saw was not what bothered her, but the feeling she felt in her heart as if it was a heating obsession between contact as if they were now in a contract. She felt breathless as she touched his warm, soft and pure skin while gazing into his large jewel eyes. Quickly, she caught her breath and retreated to sit back down beside of him, hiding her blush with her dyed white hair. If she was to die that way, so be it, but at least now she had this feeling that not even she knew was dangerous nor he.

She coughed to clear her throat, "I... I don't know what came over me. I'm s-sorry for touching you without... saying anything," she tried to think of certain words in Fiorian to say as she still could not get over this heavy feeling that was heating the coals of her heart. It made her blood boil and mind confused as she now had a feeling of wanting to be beside him for some reason.

He heard her say that her mother had died giving birth to her. His mother was said to have died from being in a weakened state and touching him, his curse was said to have been the cause of her death. He doesn't know if that was a fact or not, or if his father killed her or she just died of natural causes and he got blamed for it to cover someone else's ass. He listened as she continued her story of her looking and not having any leads of where she needed to look for her.

A thought crossed his mind. "You don't think she tried to escape from her life like you did do you? Then was used as breeding stock to make you then locked away some where?" The very thought made his stomach turn, as he was lost in thought of this idea he felt a cool hand touch his face and he snapped back to reality and looking into her eyes, he wasn't sure what he saw in them, fear, happiness, or wanting. When she removed her hand he moved away a little putting his mask back on.

"It is okay, I am sorry, I shouldn't have removed my mask." He sighs to himself. Revy walks closer to the woman and looks at her with anger and disgust. "What was the big idea doing that!?" The exceed points her finger up at Quilla like she had some big speech prepared but Kai pulls Revy away from the woman. "Kai let go of me, I am gonna teach her a lesson!" Kai shakes his head at revy.

"She touched my skin that is enough of a lesson." He looks at her and he wonders what she had seen cause she acted different then most people that have ever touched his skin. "If you don't mind me asking... what did you see when you touched me?" He was not sure what she saw or if she would share with him what horrid death she might have seen as he is unsure if it shows the real way someone dies or the way they fear to die. "Also what caused you to touch my face like that?"

He felt kinda stupid that his thoughts had caused him to let his guard down and allowed her to touch him like that, he is just lucky she wasn't looking to take his life or she would have probably just killed him then Revy.

Father loved mother, she could not have been a victim to such things, could she? That thought became stuck in, but the woman was still stuck on the feeling when she touched his face. As he put his mask back on, she was extremely saddened by it, but didn't show it. She ignored the annoying cat and gazed at him, "You look quite charming without the mask on, you know.", she stated, and the questions came. Her eyes wandered off as she thought about it. The death she will face did not matter much to her unlike how much as the person who was with her. She gave a light smile to him as she chuckled, "I will die in a glorious battle as I protect those I love. Sacrifice, as a true samurai would," she partly lied as she saw herself being tortured to death as it was a Sin to befriend demons, to love another man when you're destined to marry off to a Price and to kill Royalty. Ah yes, that was her fated death in the end, but it will all be worth it.

"To be fair I felt something pulling me to you and curiosity got the best of me," she paused, "I also... I didn't JUST see something, but I felt something as well..."

It scares me, I hate it, yet it's addicting...

He kept his eyes on her and he wondered how much of what she said was truthful, his face reddened when she called him charming without a mask. He had never heard of someone dying in an glorious fight before mostly just really bad deaths and suffering, but just because he hadn't heard it before doesn't make it any less a real possibility.

He removes his mask again thinking she won't just randomly touch him again. "It is fine I guess but please can you just warn me next time you feel like you are being pulled to it?" He smiles nervously and he rubs the back of his head his dark hair slightly ruffling from it. He had no idea what she meant by "A connection of warmth and an embrace." it seemed completely  foreign to him but he guesses he still has a lot to learn as he spent a long time around elves who were like perfection compared to him a human with cursed skin and really no skills besides those taught to him by his master. So he has knows he has a lot to learn from other humans that aren't poking him with needles and trying to learn how to use him.

"Your words seem deeper then I guess I can understand. what does "A connection of warmth and an embrace." mean?" He looks at her with a puzzled expression and a smile like he knows he is probably asking something basic but he is dense look.

She was as confused as he was. Whatever it meant, it felt indifferent to how she usually felt. Maybe it was because she hated actual embraces and hugs? That is what one would feel like, right? "I'm not sure, the words kind of appeared in my head, but nonetheless Kaito, you shouldn't hide your face," she gave a knowing smile as she cornered her eyes away and then back to look at the cat. "Are you going to continue being feisty?", she questioned with a teasing smile. "I'll give you some scratches," she calmly coo'd at the cat. Her facial expression went back to calm and stone as her eyes shined at them.

Her mind was thinking about the connection part while the silence hits between them if there was any. "I assume a connection is like... with me and my best friend have one. She's quite the troublemaker you know," she gazes off into the distance of the forest. "Akuko and I have a connection through childhood and war. Perhaps it was a sign that we will have a type of connection someday that is filled with the same warmth I felt within the second," she coldly spoke as her topaz eyes gazed up at the small open space to see the sky.

He was just use to hiding his face at this point, it didn’t really bother him to hide away his face rather he looked good or not meant very little to him. The mask was more of a safe guard to him then anything else. ” I am use to it, wearing the mask I mean.”

Revy rubs her temples this woman was becoming insufferable. ”Kai is trusting you, if you cross him or hurt him I will come after you. ” She was small but she was not scared to fight for someone she cares for.

He looks at listens to her story and a thought crosses his mind ”This Akuko person… she wouldn’t happen to be a daemon that jumps through shadows… would she… ” He is unsure how this woman would react to him telling her he might have pissed her off when he met her cause he could follow her with his thermal vision and wind sensing spells so he ruined her fun and rubbed her the very wrong way. He smiles at the last part of what she said. ”I Hope you do find the warmth and what might fill you. ” He was being supportive but he is unsure if this woman really needed to be supported she seemed like a strong can stand on her own woman to Kai.

"I'm sooo scared,~", she sarcastically spoke in her calm tone. Her eyes looked back at Kaito as he described her well. Akuko loved the shadows and nothing more - other than herself and Quilla. "Ah yes, that will be her.". She wondered what happened between the two as she could tell there was a small story with how he asked. Was he worried how Quilla will react to certain actions? Her friend was her own woman, and she knew she liked to seduce people from the dark. Was Kaito her target of such things?

She felt a sudden darkness in her but ignored it. She paid fully attention to the boy as she gave a slight smile. "As do I. Maybe I will find the fulfillment someday," as even the touch did not make her 'full' as it was just a taste of warmth. "Did something happen between you two?", Quilla wondered as her eyebrow arched with her calm features.

Kai rubs the back of his head and decides it is just probably better to tell what happened then to beat around the bush and drag his feet on it. ”Well I ran into her in Hosenka, so was stealing things from a restaurant table and knocked something over. ” he looked down feeling a little embarrassed to tell this next part. ”I being the goodie two shoes light guild member I am called her out and chased after he after she messed with Revy. ” He points to Revy who is not taking her eyes off of Quilla for a second not sure why Kai is telling her anything like this.

” I ended up hitting her with a binding spell, she didn’t seem to be able to break it and started screaming in Joyan and a crowd showed up. So I ended up just ending the spell not wanting a misunderstanding.” He sighs a little and wonders if this is really as bad to tell as he felt it was or if he had just been scared for no reason.

” Then the guard and some knights appeared so I hid on a roof top, she scared them away but wouldn’t come near the roof top. I changed clothes to lessen my chances of being picked up for accosting a woman.” He feels sorta weird telling this story to the woman that just said she was best friends with her. He wonders if it is important to reveal he pulled out a book to speak Joyan to the shadow lady and it seemed to just piss her off more. He decides that maybe she doesn’t need to know that part.

”she said she would eat my exceed then said she was lying about that then that was pretty much the end of the encounter. ” he looks at Quilla and he wonders what she will say to all of this will she be mad at him for pissing off and accosting her friend.

Revy shakes her head and sighs, why is Kai like this this woman is a total stranger, she could be here to kill him for all he knows. She knows this trusting side of him is gonna get him killed for trusting the wrong person.

She respectfully listened to the story and kept a calm face through the whole thing. She made sure to not show any hints of feelings to the story till it was over. After she made sure it was over, she bursts into laughter, holding her sides as she did so. Her laughter sounded cute, charming yet contagious. Once she was done, she slowly went back to her calm face, "Whew, that was quite funny," she calmly spoke. The cat seemed defensive and so did Kaito, "Don't get me wrong, she's my best friend, but I care not about what you did. It's quite amusing actually," she admitted.

"We piss off each other a lot so... as long as she's in no real danger then it's quite alright." She twisted to be in front of him and pokes his nose as she expressionlessly gazes at him, "Do not be afraid of me as there is no reason," she then sits back down and ignores the feelings she was given. "That goes for you too, cat," she scoffs as she then sighs. "So, any plans in life? I wondered if after this, we could perhaps write each other. Maybe I can teach you Joyan?", she wondered. Within the wall breaking, she wanted to know if they could keep in contact, meet each other more within the two or so years that will be skipped.

With this connection, Quilla has no idea what will happen if they distant now.

He found her laugh cute though it didn't seem to fit her outward persona he liked that she could laugh like that. When she touched his nose he looked at her and he wondered if maybe she just was into pain and suffering so she kept touching his skin to feel it. "Yeah she was in no real danger and as far I plan, no plans to hunt her down, she will probably trip me one day to get pay back." He laughs softly trying not to bring the woman's mood down at all. He isn't really scared of her cause he has no reason to believe she has any ill will toward him or Revy.

"I can speak it okay, but I can't read it. I have no real plans I mostly just go where the wind blows me." He rubs the back of his head thinking it would probably be better to learn from her how to write it then to attempt it himself to learn it. "IF you are willing to teach me who am I to reject your kindness?" He puts his gloved hand out to shake her hand.

Revy looks at the woman and sighs. "Fine, but remember my name is Revy not cat..." She is defeated cause Kai keeps just skipping over her concerns and keeps being honest and friendly with people like Judith hammered into him, he even started taking off his mask more since Judith hammered that into him as well.

She enjoyed seeing him enjoy himself for some reason. It was as if two adults were children all over again and they were just enjoying each other's company, sharing humor. "Of course, I can, pft," she scoffed and gives him a playful smile before going back to her expressionless look. She looked towards the cat and nodded, "Alright, Revy, deal,~" she cooly spoke and then slowly stands up beside his sitting self. "We can send each other letters and meet up after my two year expedition," she tilted her head and locked eyes to him as she let her arms rest against her tailbone.

"I will then tell you my plans for further adventures, maybe next time I can treat you somewhere.", she promised before turning away. Something felt missing, but what was it? She had no idea, but she was hoping that this was not the last time they see each other. The connection was mysterious and rather it was friendship or a possibly cause of her doom. She will hold onto it. She waved her hand loosely as she walked away, "Goodbye, Kaito and Revy... Shall we meet again," she calmly and lazily spoke before disappearing into the woods.

Revy slightly puffs her cheeks and smiles, this woman seems fine but a bit distant and slightly stand offish. "I look forward to it Quilla, and I will do, who knows maybe you won't even recognize me by then." He teased slightly and he watches the woman looking right into her eyes he wonders why she tilted her head at him.

"That sounds like a plan, hopefully I am not a cocky jerk by then." He laughs softly doubting he will have gained that much hot air in his head he is a bit sad to see her leave but a woman like her probably has a hundred things to do, as well as look for her missing mother. "Good bye for now." He waves and Revy does the same he wonders if this is will be the last he sees of her but only the future will tell and he is a bit excited what she might have planned for when they do meet again.
