Magharedes' Runes

While traveling through this area, you begin to feel a strange sensation all over your body. As you look around to find the source of this feeling, you cannot seem to pinpoint its origins directly. Depending on where you stand, the feeling becomes either stronger or completely disappears. Using this as a guide, you eventually manage to find what has been trying to draw you in towards itself: Magharedes' Blood Rune. It is said that when all five Blood Runes are collected, the user can communicate directly with the entity to wish for something. Though, the collection comes in the form of tribute to the entity itself. Blood must be spilled. Still interested in becoming both predator and prey?

  • See Magharedes' Runes to learn more about the Blood Runes and the requirements to roll.

Conditions

  • Users may perform a post in the topic and roll once per 24 hours in an attempt to claim the Blood Rune until it has been claimed by someone.

  • Should they roll 50 or greater, they will acquire the Blood Rune and become ineligible to acquire another until the Blood Battles begin. This is when all five Blood Runes have been distributed.

The white wyvern could be seen flying in the sky, and as Esperia was quietly seated on the back of the creature she pondered about the next course of action. In order for her to succeed her plan she needed to gain allies, find people who wouldn't be willing to let evil continue to fester. While she had heard about how Blue Pegasus had been sitting idle those days, she refused to believe they would be willing to let evil run its course.

That was not her mentor's way, Alisa was much better than that. She didn't know what could have possibly driven the guild to become so passive toward the growing corruption. The Rune Knights were dealing with internal corruption and the presence of the Eternal Nightmare was growing stronger by the day. To think it was a guild like Kon's that was the closest to creating the ambition of the silver-haired witch was ironic in a way. Nonetheless, she was soon drawn out of her daydreaming when she felt a sudden surge of mana nearby, leading Esperia to tap the wyvern's back lightly.

"Can you take us lower?" The wyvern nodded her head, letting out a soft growl of affirmation as it started to descend toward the city of Marigold.

It didn't take long for Esperia to reach the city, a light hop and she was already on the ground, looking around curiously. "Weird, I'm sensing a foreign presence... mana is pulsing strongly around here, I wonder if there is some form of relic hidden around here..."

Musing softly Esperia decided to start searching for the source of this mysterious presence, and whether she found something or not? That would be a tale for another day. After all, she still had to go and get to Hargeon.

For a moment she had returned to Marigold, her decision to investigate the city being mostly related to her curiosity about the mysterious presence she had sensed. However, as she arrived at the outskirts of Marigold City, the black-haired vampire merely wandered along the streets as she raised a hand to her cheek, pondering softly. "I wonder what we should be doing~" Esperia couldn't help but wonder about the matter.

There was something about the presence that made her curious, the presence of the thing made Esperia feel kind of curious. However, there was not a sign of the presence, something that made her quite curious. A sudden jolt made Esperia's eyes narrow as she felt the presence surging more firmly nearby, something that made her rapidly dash toward the nearby alleyway as she started to trail down the path toward the rune. She felt it was nearby, but then the question to ask would be: what would she end up finding? An inquiry that she would soon discover as she turned around the corner, the sight making Esperia's eyes narrow sharply.

Would she be able to find the rune this time? Or would she miss a swing once more?

Arriving in Marigold, Shichiro found himself stumbling upon a mysterious source of power in the area. He didn't know where exactly it was located but he knew for sure there was something around Marigold city that would draw his attention. Placing his hands into his pockets Shichiro took his companion Lily Panther, placing him on his left shoulder in order to go and look around the city for a prize he sought after. He didn't know what it looks like now but he was sure he'd recognize what it was immediately when he eventually discovered what he was looking for. Combing the streets of Marigold, Shichiro must have looked like a madman frantically searching for something he had no idea what it looked like. 

It was a hard search and Shichiro contemplated on having his animal companion, Lily Panther to help him out in search for the blasted thing. Well, two people were better than one in activities like this so Shichiro had indeed decided to ask Lily Panther for help. Shichiro  then wondered how he'd tell his companion to do so if he didn't even know what that thing he was searching for looks like. Shichiro decided he would delay that request and just keep searching on his own with his companion fastened onto his left shoulder. Letting out an audible sigh, Shichiro continued his search for the thing he was looking for. Eventually, Shichiro found himself drawn to a nearby alleyway in the city. He wasn't sure if it was a hunch or if somebody was calling him but this was the moment he's been waiting for.

Kaito arrives here in Marigold through his portal and he makes his way up to and stops at these piles of stones and he can feel one of them calling to him he just has to find it and he and Revy start digging in the pile and Kaito feels like his hand is being drawn to it and he is gonna make sure that he finds the one that is calling to him and what yet may come to them if it is seen fit to come to them. Revy wonders if Kaito might have gone a little crazy as this just looks like a random pile of rocks to her and she is unsure if this pile of stone really even has anything in it that would really matter to them and will have or hurt their chances of making it through to see another day. He thinks he sees it and he quickly reaches down and grabs a stone in his palm.
