Lumikki

Lumikki was walking around in the markets to find her self a new dress, her tastes were often shifting like her form. Her flock we left at home so that she could enjoy the peace without them. As much as she loves the, their squabbles get tiresome.

On her way out, she grabbed herself come cookies to munch on. As she passed each shop and stall, one after the other she would stuff another in her mouth. So lost in her daze that she almost didn’t notice a head full of while in the distance, but as soon as it registered, her eyes locked on her target.

In went the raven to torment the fox. Skipping for her prey as he had yet to turn toward her. Out she jumped, from what could of felt like no where, the Demoness made no sound.

From then she latched on to drag him around for the day. Getting his opinion of dresses until she was tired out and aimlessly walking around with him around the apartments. There were less people here to bog one down and that was what she wanted.

It was around then when she noticed a smell that ticketed her nose. Sure she had cookies a bit before, but her sweet tooth was insistent for more. Besides, the Demoness would think to herself. They smelled familiar.

Walking toward the scent brought the pair to some place familiar, it was hardly a surprise now to see Rynah just out the door. The woman seemed troubled but eager for the company. Invited the fox and the raven into her home for some more cookies and tea.

Lumi figured it wouldn’t hurt, and spoke for them. Making sure to drag Takao in with her. Rynah Quickly sat down and went to ready the tea. All the while talking about nostalgic moments in her life about her and her son. Lumi tapped her nails atop the table wondering if she regretted her decision. Mulling over the idea to turn into a bird and just leave. But her eyes would often fall on Takao her company and she new better. A man like him would never let her live it down and he had enough years to make the thing annoying. So she held in her plans and her thoughts with a deep sigh instead.

Takao

Takao was standing in the market place, simply walking around and trying to get more exposure to this new place. He had been staying here for awhile at this point, but it couldn't hurt to have more exposure right? Takao then felt a body hit his, grabbing him around his waist and his body went into defensive mode as he reach down and grabbed the hand that held him. Attempting to pull the hand away from his body with his left hand, while spinning towards his left, drawing his sword with his right. This could easily be escaped by Lumikki if she attempted, but this did happen extremely quickly. If she did nothing, her left arm would be behind her back, Takao being behind her, and the tip of Takao's blade would be pointed in between her third and fourth rib, where if Takao pushed it would most likely pierce her heart and both of her lungs.

If she attempted to break the hold, it would still end with Takao having his sword in his right hand and be behind where she was mere moments ago. Once Takao realized who it was, he let go of Lumikki's arm and put his sword away and began to apologize profusely as he should have never done that. Eventually Takao was taken to go dress shopping and giving his thoughts on all of them, which he gave as at this point he felt like Lumikki deserved his attention at least for a bit.

Eventually Takao was lead into an old women's apartment, that he remembered he already did a job for. He eventually heard a story about how she wanted to reconcile with her son, who was a man that Takao had mere days ago knocked on his ass for being a drunk and a general fucking idiot. The old women handed them a letter that they were to get to her son, and Takao took it before turning around and leaving to go get this job done. This man didn't deserve his mothers love, but that wasn't up for Takao to enforce.

Lumikki

" Ye, I should of know better than to creep up on a warrior, me Uncle being one and all, but can't help meself." Demoness would say in his grasp. She could have fought it, iced and spiked her skin, even just frozen him. But where was any of the fun in that? It was almost a form of bonding to let a man find his way to your heart. Spicy even that his method of choice was a sword. She began cackling at the myriad of idiotic thoughts that were only adding to the chaos of the moment. If there was anything she was truly annoyed at, it was the fact that he was much taller than her. She grimaced at the passing thought, leaving it as quickly as it came.

Takao, the good sport that he was, entertained the Demoness on her whims. For that, she appreciated him indeed. It was fun having someone of his like as her company. A being who desires and maintains order in the chaos was a fascinating thing.

But in time they would enter the home Rynah and be sent on an annoying quest. " It was better we left before the crying started..." She sighed deeply before going on, " This family is, well at least the son is, veeeery annoying."

It was not hard to find her son Mitya. He was where he usually could be found, his own bar. Lumi shoved the letter into his face and though annoyed, the man read it once he noticed his mother's name. Reading it over and nearly broke into tears. He took no time to run out of the bar and make it home to see her.

Lumikki followed along at her own pace to see how it turned out, but more importantly, she didn't finish her tea. When they returned, the pair were crying. Mitya explains his motivation.

When they realized their presence, Mitya handed them a reward, the mother a pouch of cookies. This aided a bounce to her step as she did a little dance on her way out.

Takao

Takao looked at Lumikki as they left and even he had to admit that the family didn't seem to have their shit together, though he didn't know all of the story. Maybe there was something that happened that did this to them, like a death in the family and people didn't react correctly and never bothered to figure it out. Still, Takao stood there as Lumikki handed the drunk bar owner his letter, and the tears almost started to flow out of his eyes as he ran out of the bar towards his mothers home.

Just in case, Takao wasn't sure if this man would cry with his mother or kill her. Being a drunken fool makes you unpredictable and if he had to save the old women, he would do it without hesitation. As they both arrived, it was clear that they were making up and getting to know each other again after all of these years. Even Takao had the thought of, why was this so hard? They live in the same town, that isn't all that big. They would eventually run into each other right? Then Takao got his reward as well, the pouch of cookies and he walked away from the incident feeling that he wasn't sure if he had done that women a favor by reconnecting her with her known alcoholic trouble making son.
