Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji had been doing nothing but relaxing for the last two weeks. They couldn’t help it, but they had been overworked that it caught up to them. It was a lot to do for the weeks that they were just hanging out. They got to visit Mr. Claus is place, which was basically the place where Renji was from. It was enjoyable to say the least, and it was something he didn’t mind doing again. The Nephilim was catching up on the paper work though and it would seem like that was going to bite him in the ass. He would go through it all and he would rub the back of his head. He couldn’t believe this much had gathered up. It was somehow worse than last time when he had left the North.

He would scratch his head as he would continue his work though and wondered if there would be anybody who would come to his office for him to work today.

Yuurei

While he was doing that, soon enough a a knock on the door would occur. He would stop for a second as he would look at Renji and then he would look at the door. It would seem like there was work for him to do after all. This was perfect as he would lean back on his chair and smile.

“Come in.” He would simply say this as he would wait for them to show up.

When they heard this, they would come in as they would see the paperwork that had gathered up here. He would shake his head because this was something that had happened because Yuurei got lazy. He would hand over a letter and Yuurei would take it without a problem. He would look at it and he would nod at the man.

This was his signal to leave the area, and he would bow slightly and walk away from the room.

“It seems like today we will be mining.” He said to Renji.

Yuurei

Yuurei would open the letter and he would read more. It would seem like he was trying to get a hold of him, but he couldn’t get anybody to send this letter. The berserker would laugh a bit because he told the people in the guild that he was not to be bothered. It would seem like he was in a dire need of his help. He would get up from his chair as he would stretch a bit and he would walk over to Renji.

The Exceed would get up as well and would do the same thing Yuurei had done. It was then he would climb onto Yuurei shoulder and they would both look at the window. He would walk over to the window and he would open it without a problem. This would cause him to sprout wings from his back as he stepped out of the window. Doing this would allow him to fly in the air and he would close the window behind him before he would goof to his destination.

Yuurei

Renji was happy that Yuurei was finally on the move and it meant that they would make more jewels.

“So, what do you think he’s going to say when he sees you? It’s been a while, so he must be upset.” He said to Yuurei.

The berserker kept flying when he heard this and the only thing he could do was laugh about it.

“I don’t know, but I know he better be happy I took the job now.” He said to Renji as he kept flying.

The Exceed was happy to hear this as they were moving around the air. He was moving at high speed as he figured the faster they got there, then the faster they could work and get out of there.

It wouldn’t take long, but they would be able to see the Dawn Cliff Mine from where they were. It would seem like there were a lot of people working today, which was good.

Yuurei

Yuurei wondered if they were curious to where he had been this entire time. He would land on the ground and when he did that his wings would disperse from his back as he would start walking the rest of the way. While he was doing that, Yuurei would wave at the people who had welcomed him. It would seem like they were happy to see him and he was feeling the same way. He kept moving through the are until he saw the entrance of the mine at his sight. He would also see that Mr. Cliff and his bodyguards were waiting for him.

He kept moving and when he got there, it would seem like Mr. Cliff was happy that he had made it today.

“You finally came Yuurei. I was worried about you. I knew you didn’t leave the North, so I started thinking something bad happened to you. I’m glad you could make it today as I need your help badly.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would nod when he heard that as he was here to work for him today.

Yuurei

Yuurei would smile at him and the bodyguards that were looking at him. It would seem like they were wondering where he had gone as well.

“Sorry about the disappearance. I needed to get away and have some me time. Thngs were collapsing on me all at once. I was just trying to get back on my feet and make sure I didn’t trip on anybody.” He explained to Mr. Cliff.

The man was just happy that Yuurei was here to begin with. He would move to him and he would pat him on his shoulder. It was then that he would step back and he would look at the bodyguards and they would start handing out Yuurei’s stuff. The Nephilim would grab the hardhat first as he would put it on and he would make sure that the light was working.

He also made sure that it wasn’t exceeding its durability cycle as he didn’t want something cracking him on the head.

Yuurei

Yuurei would smile at the bodyguard when he felt the hardhat was fine and he would look over to the next one. He would hand over the pickax that Yuurei was using all the time. He would swing this around the open space around them. He had to make sure that it worked properly because it was what he used when he was inside. He would do a bit of a testing and it was then he would confirm that he was fine to go inside of the mine without a problem.

The Nephilim would smile as he put the pickax on his shoulder. He would look at everyone as Renji would climb off his shoulder and was now on his side.

“We will get this done for you, so no worries. Let’s go Renji.” He said to his friend as he had a smile on his face and started walking over to the entrance.

Yuurei

Yuurei would enter the place and Renji would follow behind. The two of them would walk through the place like they owned it. They had protected this place for a long time and had to make sure that nobody could cause great destruction to the North. He would continue to do this and he was happy to know the people were thankful for it.

The Nephilim would be guided by the linear path in front of him. It was then he would be met with the fork in the road and he would choose the same path as always. He would make his way through the right side and it wouldn’t take long for him to get to the open space. Renji always enjoyed this area no matter how many times he had seen it. He was glad that they could keep coming here. Still, their walk wasn’t over as they had more ground to cover.

Yuurei kept moving around the area as Renji would do the same thing. The two of them kept it going and soon enough they would hear noises coming from the distance. They were happy to hear the sounds as it would mean that everybody was working hard. He kept moving until they all came to view. They had smiled at him and would wave at him. It would seem like they were happy to see him. They had not seen him in a while that they though something bad had happened. They were glad it was nothing and they would continue on working.

He would keep moving as he would wave at everyone who had acknowledge his existence. Renji would do the same thing and they would make their way to the next area. There, they would see more people working, which meant they didn’t get far enough. He kept moving as he wondered how far deep he would have to go.

Yuurei would see the workers around him had finally started decreasing. This was good because it meant they were about to reach heir destination. The Nephilim would make his moves and soon enough hey had the place to themselves. The two of them would look around and would see how beautiful and big this place was.

“Where are you going to start, Yuurei?” He asked him as he was going to start wherever his friend would.

Yuurei would continue to look around as that was a good question. He would walk around the place and he would take a bit of time.

“I guess I will close my eyes, spin around, and see where I bump myself into.” He said to Renji.

The Exceed heard this and he would shake his head. He would see Yuurei do just that though as he spun around and when he stopped walk over to a wall and bumped into it. He would rub shin as that hurt, but he was ready to start.

Yuurei would make sure he wasn’t spinning anymore either. He would crack his neck when he felt he was ready and he would start hammering away. The precision in his hit was amazing as he didn’t have to do a lot of work. The Exceed would see this and he was happy that Yuurei was strong. He wondered how long this would take if he wasn’t. It would probably be dangerous to as he figured his friend would try to use magic to get the work done faster.

The Nephilim kept hammering away though and soon he would come to a stop. The pieces of minerals would fall to the ground and he would step away from it. He would walk over to the next place he would work on. Renji would see this and he would walk over to the minerals and he would take the minerals and placed it in his bag. When he was done with that he would go to Yuurei.

Yuurei was onto the next area and he would start working away as Renji had been doing his own thing. He would be quick on his feet as he would hammer things away. The minerals would find themselves falling to the ground as he would just have a smile on his face.

He had forgotten how it felt to work like this and he could feel the sweat dripping down his face. He would keep moving through the area as he was making sure that Mr. Cliff had gotten his jewels worth. Renji would see his friend working hard and he could only smile at him. He was glad that Yuurei was enjoying this. He had seen that he was down for a while, but there was nothing he could do to cheer him up. He would do his own job and he would walk through the area and picking up the minerals that were on the ground.

Yuurei

Yuurei was working hard, and Renji was doing the same thing. He could see that his friend was doing that, and he would just continue to hammer away at the minerals. The Nephilim would continue to do this for a bunch of hours as he was gathering a bunch of minerals. The Exceed would rush through the area behind Yuurei as he was gathering all the minerals that he could. He saw that his friend had been working up a sweat.

“I think we’re done here, don’t you think Yuu?” He asked him.

Yuurei would rub the back of his head and he would brush his hair back as he looked at his friend.

“Yeah I think we can start heading back to the entrance and back to Mr. Cliff.” He said to Renji.

The Exceed would nod as he was fine with that and he would pick up the remaining minerals that were on the ground.

Yuurei

The two of them would walk through the mine together. They had worked hard for the day and now they were walking back. They could see everybody working and he would wave at them as he would say his goodbyes to everyone there. It wouldn’t take long, but he would find himself at the entrance of the mine again. He would see that the guys were there waiting for him. He had a smirk on his face as he would hand the equipment to the bodyguards. When he did he would look over to Mr. Cliff as he would hand him his jewels.

While this was happening, Renji would open his bag and all the materials would come out of it and into the wheelbarrow that was there. Mr. Cliff knew this was going to be just like that and it was why he was handing Yuurei his jewels before he saw the items at hand. Once he got the reward, Yuurei and Renji would be on their way home.
