Yuurei

Yuurei was hanging around Orchidia, and it seemed like there was an important job quest. It would seem like there was something going on in Orchidia City. There was a woman who had been waiting for her husband for about a month. He had gone into a mansion to sell their shop, so they could move, and he hasn’t come out. That was weird, and he found that suspicious, so he decided to go check it out. He felt like it was best to do this at night. When it was nighttime, he would use his magic to make him invisible along with Renji. They were going to break into the mansion without anybody knowing that they were there.

When he felt that he was ready, he would move through the area as fast as he could. It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would find himself sneaking into the mansion.

Yuurei

Yuurei was inside the mansion, and so far, everything was fine. That was what he thought, but he would look behind him and it would seem like something was wrong with the entrance of the place. Still, he figured he would deal with that when it came to that. He would move through the mansion as he was looking for clues to find the woman’s husband, but there was nothing for him here. The duo would notice something, and it would seem like a duck would be following them.

“What the duck? Why is he following us?” He asked Yuurei.

“You think so? I don’t even know if the duck could see us, but he could hear us now.” He said to Renji as they would continue to explore the place.

Renji was pretty sure that this duck could see Yuurei even if he was invisible. He wasn’t sure how, but this duck was different.

Yuurei would keep moving through the place. He was tiring to find any clues that could lead to the woman’s husband. In the beginning when he had checked the rooms, there was nothing that was out of place. Still, he would continue to look around. He wasn’t going to stop looking until he found the man. It wouldn’t take long, but he would find a room that had someone in it. He would enter the place, and he would see the guy who looked like the description that was on the job request. Still, there was something weird about the man. He was acting like a duck, which confused the hell out of them. That was when he looked at the duck that was following them the entire time. He would rub his chin and he wondered if the duck and this guy did a body switch.

“Are you the man in a ducks body?” He asked the duck.

That was when he would quack to give him a confirmation.

Yuurei would shake his head as he was trying to figure out what he could do to undo this. It had to be some type of spell that caused this. While he was trying to figure this out someone would come in and it would seem like they had sense Yuurei this entire time. He would run straight toward him.

“You’re not getting out of here in one piece. I sensed you since you got here.” He said this to Yuurei as he would try to attack the Nephilim.

The Nephilim would shake his head when he saw this. He would dodge the attack with such ease. He would look over at the scientist and he wondered what he had done.

“How do I reverse this?” He asked as the scientist chose not to answer.

Instead, he would just run straight toward Yuurei as he tried to stab him with a sleep agent.

Yuurei would dodge the attack again as he would let go of his invisibility spell. The scientist would look at him and he would see the cat on his shoulder.

“Maybe I should switch you two. That would be interesting to see. You in a cat’s body.” He said with a crazy smile on his face.

“No, I’m good just like this, I don’t want to become Yuu, and I’m sure he wouldn’t want to be me.” He said to the scientist.

He would run to them again. Yuurei would shake his head as he wasn’t going to let this go any longer. He would find out how to change the man back after he was done with this guy. Yuurei would dodge the attack once again, but this time he would smack the scientist on the back of his neck. He would render him unconscious as he dropped to the ground without a problem.

When he did that, the magic lock on the door would disappear. It wasn’t just that, but the man and the duck would return to their own bodies. The man would stop moving around like a duck as he would look over at Yuurei. He started crying because he thought he was going to be a duck forever. He would thank Yuurei as the two of them would leave the mansion. Yuurei reported this scientist to the Rune Knight and told them what he had done for a month. He would take the man to his wife, and his client. When he got there, she would see her husband was back and would start crying as she would hug him. It wouldn’t take her long, but she would move over to Yuurei and she would hand him a bag of jewels and she would thank him for finding her husband for her.
