Yuurei

Yuurei's last day in Crocus, and he figured he would help out Lady Merlin was last time. He had found her wanting someone's help, and he figured he would be perfect for it. He made his way towards her mansion, and there he would be met with Abbadon and Luciel at the entrance of the place. They would wave at him and welcome him inside as he would make his way towards the woman who waited for him to make an appearance.

He would finally come across the woman's room and he would enter it without hesitation. There she was waiting for Yuurei and Renji with a smile on her face.

"I see you're here for the job I put up? That's good as I assume you're leaving Crocus today?" She asked him to see if she was right.

"Yeah, I'm here for the job, and yeah it is my last day of Crocus." He said to her.

She figured that was the case, and figured that he would be able to finish this for him.

"Okay, so I need you to go to the gates of Crocus in two hours, and you should meet up with a caravan. This caravan will have some important stuff being transported. I need you to escort the cart back here without anything happening to it." She said to him.

Yuurei understood the task at hand when she explained it. It shouldn't be too hard, but what was he going to go through in their travels?

"I understand, I will head there in a bit and wait for their arrival." He said with a smile on his face.

She figured he would want to be there early, so she handed him a letter to show the driver, so he knew it wasn't a trick or anything like that. Yuurei would take the letter and would be on his way to the gates.

Yuurei

Yuurei had made his way to the gates of Crocus, which took its own time to get there, and when he did that he decided to wait. The guards at the front wondered why he was hanging there, and he would show them the letter of Lady Merlin, and they would leave him alone afterward. Renji took a quick catnap, while Yuurei waited there patiently. His patients were good as hell when over an hour had passed and he could see a caravan making its way to the gates of Crocus. He was glad they were here because it meant that they could have started their trip to Lady Merlin.

The guards did their job asking who they were here for and once it was done Yuurei would appear in front of them.

"I'm here on behalf of Lady Merlin to get you to her mansion in one piece." He said as he would hand over the letter to him.

The merchant would read the letter, and he would grunt because he didn't feel like he needed this. Still, he didn't want Lady Merlin mad at him, so he would allow it. Yuurei started moving forward and the caravan followed behind. He was highly upset about this and he would let the light mage know about it.

"I don't like this one bit. If only she understood time is money." He would complain about things like that.

Yuurei would just ignore it as he didn't care who was venting as long as he got the job done. While they were going around the streets of Crocus there were a bunch of people that were moving around the caravan, which the half-elf wasn't enjoying. They couldn't be here any longer than they were and it was because there was bound to be someone who would try to steal from them.

He moved over to a different area, and the merchant was confused about what was going on. He stopped as he looked at Yuurei waiting for an explanation.

"Follow me we're getting out of the main road. There is a chance that somebody is good enough to steal from us without knowing." He would say to the merchant.

It would annoy the man when he heard those words and he mumbled a bunch of words, that Yuurei could hear. They would get out of the main road now as they were moving around and through a different path towards Merlin. Things were going perfectly fine, which meant that they would be right on track with arriving at Merlin's mansion soon.

That was when Yuurei and the caravan would soon come across people working on the roads they were going through. He knew without anybody telling them that they weren't going to be able to go through this and they were going to have to go on another path.

Yuurei would move towards the alleyway as the merchant with the caravan would only shake his head because this was probably going to end badly. They might as well have stood in the main road right? The light mage didn't think so as he knew that if someone tried anything, he would at least be able to see it coming with the lack of people around here.

"It's okay we will still be fine. If anything happens I can take them on." He said to the merchant even though he wasn't convinced.

While moving through the alleyways, the group had taken a bunch of turns as there were different paths to take to navigate through the area. Yuurei would soon hear the voices of Rune Knights yelling and it seemed like something was going on. That meant something bad was happening, and he had to make sure that they stood away from it.

Yuurei

Yuurei would take a different path than he originally was going to take. He heard the Rune Knight's voices from his right side, so he took a left path in the alleyway. While walking through the area, they would still be able to hear them yelling. It was annoying, so he had taken another left and kept moving and soon enough he would take a right. He was hoping that would make things better, and honestly, they wouldn't hear the Rune Knights anymore. Of course, eventually, Yuurei would make them take a right to get back on the path on their way to Merlin.

While this was all happening, the merchant was no longer happy with Yuurei and this maze run he was going through. Yuurei kept moving forward and he figured things would be fine from here. It wouldn't take long for him to hear the caravan behind him coming to a stop. The light mage would turn to look back to see if something was wrong.

Yuurei would walk towards the caravan as he tried to figure out what was wrong with it.

"Are you okay? We're almost there." He would say to them.

"I can't take this anymore. If she truly wanted her stuff, she would have gotten it herself. I don't care about this anymore. I'm leaving if you want you can deliver it to her yourself." The man said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would rub the back of his head wondering why he was so impatient.

"You don't have to leave. We can give it in and you can get paid for your delivery service." He was trying to keep him to stay.

The man didn't care about it anymore, and he would end up giving Yuurei the glass orb that was supposed to be delivered. It wouldn't take long before the caravan took off, leaving Yuurei alone in the alleyway.

Yuurei would continue his walk through the alleyway on his own. He made sure to be very careful with the delivery that he was on. He was cautious through his travel, which made him even take longer than he would have if the caravan had just stood. Still, it was all worth it because he knew what he was doing and he never bumped into anybody. The Rune Knights never came his way, and soon enough he wouldn't be in the alleyways anymore. He would find himself in front of Merlin's mansion and he would sigh because he could have been on his way back to Magnolia now. It didn't matter though as he started walking towards her mansion now that he was safe from any weird danger.

Yuurei would enter the mansion once again she would be greeted by Abbadon this time. The light mage figured that Luciel was somewhere around here, but he didn't come for her as he headed towards Lady Merlin's room.

Yuurei

Yuurei would enter Lady Merlin's room, and she would be surprised that she wasn't announced to the front of the mansion. She figured that she would pay the merchant, but it seemed like something went wrong.

"What happened to the caravan?" She asked.

Yuurei would explain the entire situation to her and what happened in the end. She would only come to shake her head with the end result but was happy to get the orb from Yuurei. She would put it on the table as she would turn to him with a smile on her face.

"Well this money was supposed to go to the caravan, but instead you will be earning since you delivered it and had to deal with such mess." She said this as she would give him the jewel for the entirety of the mission.

Yuurei would take the jewels without a problem and he would say his farewell to everybody in the mansion. He had even gone to see Joanne before he decided it was time to leave Crocus for the time being.
