Kazimir walked out of the darkness. A dense fog settled around the house before him. Ghostly wails rang through the courtyard and etched onto the minds of any who wandered too close. Tombstones poked out of the fog that covered the front yard. Busted windows and shutters rattled in the wind. Yet despite the bellowing breeze, the fog remained unchanged.

Movement shifted with the fog and shadows flashed across the open windows in the house. "Alright then," Kazimir said as he strolled through the garden of death and decay. He felt unbothered by most of it. Even to the point of feeling welcomed by it. He could feel the vibrations of skeletons rolling around in their coffins below his feet.

The mage turned into a cloud of bats and flew into the second-floor window. Within, the halls were carpeted with red. Old clocks and paintings hung from the walls. Every step seemed to make the hallways longer as if space was warped within the house.

"What kind of treasure is hidden here," he mentioned from a rumor he heard in town. He didn't really care about keeping any potential treasure he came across. He just wanted to know what it was.

The wind mage pressed onward into the mansion. A door creaked beside him. he peeked around the dark corner. A chill ran down his spine. He whirled around to see a faint spectral figure vanish into the far wall.

Jikan flew on her beloved brown haired Duhlin companion mount; Maxx. In the night life of the town Maxx was getting restless, it had been sine time since Jukan had took him out for a walk. Well, one in the sky at least. Jukan pet the side of the chippy animal. Maxx enjoyed being out and about, and although Jikan had made sure to ride him often, she did not use him to fly as often as on ground travel. And that was something that would eventually need to be corrected, letting Maxx out in the air for a little bit like today.

But there was a fog brewing. Growing thicker and thicker with each flap of Maxx's wings. It was hazardous. The wind may have been calm but sight was not optimal and so she would have to bring Maxx down. Thankfully there was a small gap where things were visible from above. A house.

Giving a soft tap and a clicking of her lips, Maxx dived down after releasing a powerful neigh, Jikan's long red black hair undisturbed, but the hood to her outfit flapped against the wind.

Once down she jumped off her mighty stead. Brushing his coat with her hand, scanning the scene with her eyes.

After the mansion door was closed, a bright light enveloped the door. Then it opened and in walked Tempris. SHe was wearing a black and purple sleeveless dress with dark purple frills over her shoulders. She had black long gloves which came a couple inches before her elbows and a Purple bracelet on her left wrist. A pink ribbon with was wrapped around her waist with the pink symbol of Illumin holding it together. Underneath the dress was a white skirt and behind her was a large white bow. On her feet were purple boots. On her back was Her new shield she bought recently. She would suppose to not have had her sword becuase the guild didn't want to let her bring it to event. Something about it being too dangerous or something. She just thought they were still mad about her attacking that jerk of a guy that threw her sword up a tree. So she snuck it with her anyway.

Upon entering the building and looking around, she saw the guild master of Fairy Tail himself. "Mr. Kaz What are you doing here!" It was a bit surprising and the girl forgot the man did request her to be less proper. Well, she sort of forgot since she at least remembered to call him by his shorten name.

Kaz heard some faint footsteps behind him, but before he could turn around he heard a powerful sound of a flying beast from outside the house. It echoed through the hall, filtered through layers of broken-down wood.

Turning his attention back to the sound closer to I'm, he looked over his shoulder, to see..."Tempris? How did you find yourself here?" He asked but still examined the wall near them that the ghost had vanished through.

"it's good to see you though. As for me...I heard there was a secret treasure here, so I came to find it. No doubt it's probably hidden in the scariest part of the house...the basement." He said and looked down the hall. The walls seemed to warp in and out like pair of breathing lungs. A stairwell spiraled down to the floor below and into an open room, with paintings hanging from the walls of the old inhabitants.

The rooftop morphed and changed into, with subtle shifting of shingles and the fireplace suddenly appearing on the opposite side. As Jikan landed she would see the door swing open for her. Inside as if hundreds of yards away, she would see a robed man walking with a young woman that wore a white ribbon. If she entered, she would suddenly appear in a room of paintings on the first floor of the house.

Kazimir would be slowly walking down the stairwell. "I think there are ghost in here," Kaz said to Tempris with hesitation.

Jikan escorted her stead, she did not want him out in the rain or in the harsh wind, but there was not much she could do with room to place him from what she could tell. There mansion, as huge as it was, did not look like it had a place to put one's pet or mount if they had to stay outside. Maybe...she would just keep him and go inside?

That was what she thought before she caught the after glow of a light at the door. She was walking and just caught the end of it. She did not see anything from the outside though, the glow effect was coming from inside the house. But it had died down now by the time she had gotten close enough to see it.

Then the door swung open, as if it was welcoming her inside. Against better judgment...Jikan went inside, taking Maxx along with her. Inside she would see a robed man walking with a young woman that wore a white ribbon. She was about to call out to apologize for entering their house uninvited(?) when the world warped around her. She felt like she blinked out of the world before randomly appearing in a room of paintings on the first floor of the house.

"okay...yea... this is weird". Maxx neighed, as if he was agreeing with her. She looked around, trying to get her bearings, and maybe clues to what the heck was going on.

Tempris pulled out her key when the guild master of Fairy tail questioned how she got here. "Isn't it neat. I got it off out of a magazine. I thought it was going to be a scam but nope." Putting the key away, she noticed the man looking at the walls. Then he started talking about treasure hunting. "Treasure in a scary mansion. Sounds like something some kids would say to prank people. I won't fall for such things obviously though..." She folded her arms and turned away, "Though... I can come along to say a prayer to help you find it if you still believe such nonsense. You know... if you are scared." She did not want to admit that she wanted to see the treasure. She didn't want it but it did sound interesting given how bored she was. Only then did she notice.

She drew her weapon as her eyes studied the phenomenon. "Ghost?" Tempris repeated, "There is no such thing. All souls go to Illumin when they die. So how could their be ghost?" She quickly moved closer to the man unsure what to do. "Maybe if we do a baptism of fire for the house... Everything would go away." Despite her words, sweat was starting to roll down her face. The air prick her skin. She did not know what was happening and she was holding in the desire to just unleash her magic.

"Out of a magazine?" he leaned in to look at the key and wondered what kind of magazine it was that would give out something like that. "Well, I'm glad it worked. Hopefully, we aren't falling into a trap," he laughed a little.

Tempris turned away as Kaz cocked his eyebrow at her vigilant statement against the hunt for treasure. "I'm always up for a good hunt. Even if there's noting at the end. And a prayer of good luck would be helpful, if you'd join me." He smiled and looked back down the stairwell that spiraled to the floor below.

"Hmm," Kaz responded. He couldn't believe that all souls went to illumin when they died. if that were the case, how could lichs roam the earth? But he didn't want to dive into abstract talk so suddenly. The nature of angels and demons was an interesting and tangled web.

"Who knows. Maybe ghosts aren't actually really dead?"

Kaz placed a hand on her shoulder, "Maybe they want us to find the treasure. it would be a shame to burn down a beautiful house. So let's see if we can find it and maybe free these spirits," he said with a nod and continued down the steps.

At the bottom stood someone that was very clearly not a ghost. "Hey...are you here for the treasure too," Kaz spoke, when the stairwell turned into a slide, sending him rolling down to the bottom floor.

Jikan was still in the middle of bewilderment. Adjusting to the last minute shift of location along with her mount Maxx. She was still looking around, in the room trying to see the paintings. There were hints maybe? Faces, homes, people in the middle of events. Maybe these things could help her figure out where she was exactly? Maxx neighed and stamped his feet, his body standing in front of the door in the room, the only one present besides the closet. "One sec big fella let me...", Jikan decided to open the closet, a random act to see if something would be inside.

Oh boy was she right, but so wrong at the same time. Something was in there, but more of the type to be someone. A pale peeling looking hand jumped out of the closet door, a faded aura around it that appeared to get it the sight of an arm with worms in it. The unexpected sight made Jikan yelp, pratically do a flip backwards, and slam the door shut with a kick slam.

She turned on her heals and chagred into a sprint opening the door and pulling max with her. "Nope".

"Not dead?" Tempris found herself distracted in thought. Of course, that would make sense... but ghost also don't have a physical body. Like, with Liches, its more about being corrupted by magic. She never looked at them as individuals who died and rose from the grave. With ghost, though she never seen one, they where suppose to be a soul. Then again... sin was suppose to chain you to the earth so... maybe ghost or souls who have suffered so much, they could not leave. "Poor creatures... To think they suffered so much... that they could not leave this realm peacefully. If there are any ghost... we have to free them Mr. Kaz. Promise me you won't let them stay here suffering."

Tempris felt her chills leaving after Kaz place his hand on her shoulder. "Okay... if that is what will help them. I might have to give a better prayer, since I can't cleanse the place." It was disappointing but well... She was growing use to these restrictions. It was funny, just a few months ago she never bothered to care about such things. Now, she found herself dancing between her beliefs and the reputation behind those beliefs.

Then suddenly, she lost footing due to the stairwell turning into a slide. Tempris screamed being yanked out of her thoughts and force back into the cold building. Luckily she did not die from falling. She was not so encumbered that she could not angle her shield in front of her to protect her from the landing but it did not make the place any less startling.

Kaz peeked over his shoulder at the sorrowful words that Tempris spoke. "It is sad," he replied. "Of course Tempris. We'll do our best to free them from whatever binds them to this home. " The win damage smiled at her, as she said she would not burn the place and instead help him find a way to free them with the treasure and mystery that surrounded them.

As the two marched forth, the stairs sent them tumbling downward. Once he reached the bottom, Kaz darted up and rolled out of the way, with Tempris hot on his heels. He dusted himself off and checked to see if Tempris had bounced back to her feet with her shield at the ready.

The other person there had, rushed out of the room and slammed a door behind them. Kaz walked over to the closet that had been slammed shut. "Well...I guess we should try here then." Without waiting, Kazimir opened the closet door. A ghostly hand reached out and vanished before it could reach the wind mage. Kaz let out a deep breath, not that there was air in his lungs, but a habit from once being alive.

He reached in and the back of the closet fell open, revealing a tunnel. "Found something. let's go," The wind mage crawled through the tunnel. It took a few turns before opening into the basement of the home. Kazimir dropped down and waited for Tempris. Ghost shifted in the corners of the room. In the center of the room was a treasure chest, surrounded by thick glass, and halfconsumed by a rock formation.
