Masami's weight has been enhanced due to his clothes being soaked wet from that previous dive, but that's okay. He caught more breaths before he started to run through... the jungle? A forest? Masami, apparently couldn't distinguish the difference between the two, but both had many trees. He ran through the jungle just like how the vision told him to, or "taught" him to, in that case, as Masami has been navigating through these phases ever since the first one with no hassle, all because of the power of magic. Whenever he forgets, he was immediately reminded; he ran until he reached the next checkpoint.

Oh, jungle now...? That was troublesome. Alisa clicked her tongue as she pushed through it, raising her wet arms over her face, shielding it as she brushed away the branches, hopping over tree stumps and dead logs as fast as her wet clothing allowed her... Tch... In this wet, dank jungle environment, her clothes would take a lot more to dry than she'd have liked. She had no choice but to push through it though, it was either that or death through some unimaginably gruesome means at the hands of the machiavellan island master. Unless she pushed through, she'd never get out of here! Panting with every step, Alisa ran as fast as she could while still pacing herself, towards the volcano where either doom or deliverance awaited.

What stood in front of Masami was a great volcano. Despite not being at the eye of it, he felt the warmth; he didn't have his magic with him, but the volcano reminded him of the effect that fire magic had dealt with him through his journey in Fiore... and in this survival game. As if scratching the volcano's walls, Masami's nails dug through its' tree bark-like texture, proceeding for a tough climb. While he was at it, the heat of the volcano cooperated in draining the water off of Masami's clothing, allowing him to freely climb the higher he goes.

Ahhh... Finally out of the jungle. But what laid ahead was far from reassuring. Alisa took but a moment looking up the mighty volcano, but knew better than to waste too long standing in awe at its imponence. Without wasting more than a heartbeat, she started making her way up, standing for as long as she could, grabbing on to the rocks when necessary, but for the most part trying to avoid that. After all, the higher she got, the hotter the air grew, even the air all around her, until the mere act of grabbing onto a single rock for too long made her hand sizzle as pain shot through her whole body. Pushing through the blisters as survival instinct kicked in, Alisa scowled at the top of the volcano like an enemy she had to overcome.

And... there it goes! The bell rang after Masami reached for it, he has finally accomplished what he was taught to! A spring of joy covered him, expressing this with a big smile and then... he would jump? There was this odd impulse that told him to jump inside the volcano, and it was a strong impulse on that; his heart started to raise, and he was starting to get dizzy. He couldn't even look at the woman he was running with, neither did he make enough efforts to ask the masked man what he was exactly about to do but... jump? Did he have enough guts to do that?

The good part of all this was... her clothes had finally dried up... Not much remained of them really, a good part of her pants had been burnt off, showing the charred, bruised and battered patches of skin underneath. Thankfully she had now finally reached the top of the volcano. Using what last few ounces of strenght and willpower remained, Alisa reached for the bell as fast as she could and rang it. She knew where she needed to go next. She'd seen it, and the island master made sure she wouldn't forget. Her competitor would also know. She knew that in however mysterious way imaginable, salvation laid inside the volcano. Well, either that or a horrifying death, but she also knew that if she stayed behind, there was no hope for her:

"If I were you, I'd hope this kills me.", spoke the sculptress, glaring up into the sky as she picked up her speed, resigning herself to jumping into her deadth. There was no way a person could just up and run into a volcano. The very survival instinct that carried her thus far clamored her to stop, but she did it anyway... With a mighty leap, Alisa leapt into the volcano, confident that at the very least, if she died, well... She'd die instantly.

As both Survivors jumped into the lava to conclude the first part, they reappeared sitting across a table floating high in the air above the vulcano.

"Seems like you two made it through the first part," the Master chuckled. "Now let us move onto the next part." The Master was sitting in the middle of the table with an equal distance to both Survivors sitting at the end.

They both had a magical dice in front of them that would have to be rolled soon. Each turn the Survivors would have to state whether they believed they would roll higher or lower than 50. The first one to guess it correctly 7 times in total would secure the win of this round.

The Master didn't intend to let them off that easily in the finale. Though, whoever won the previous round would only have to win this round as well to secure complete victory.

"Begin!"

Details: Each roll must be done in a separate post based on each phase of the game. There is no specific timer, however, 24 hours is a guideline per phase. This means that it would be great if both participants completed one of the nine parts per day and not 24 hours after each other. Extra time is taken into the calculation as penalty points for the Survivor. Do note that the post must clearly describe the events taking place during that phase. You can also die by describing the wrong events in your post.

Masami almost fell off of his chair, having to sit across a table, Masami finally got a good look at the woman. She was familiar, apparently because her name has spread all across Fiore, having looks worthy of being in the Sorcerer's Magazine. The magic dice glowed for Masami, although he doesn't understand what makes this dice so "magical," he continued to deal with it. Without being given much information, Masami already knew what to do, therefore taking the dice and shaking it with a hand, Masami uttered: "Lower than fifty." before dropping the dice for a roll. It was a fifty-fifty chance, quite a scary gamble.

"Oh, dice this time hmmm...?", it took a while for Alisa to process how she hadn't well, been horrifically burned alive. But clearly her survival would be short lived unless she managed to actually, well, win the game. At least she wouldn't need to do any more running around, even if the heat from the volcano still left her sweating buckets as she brushed her hand over her forehead. She didn't really know the boy sitting across her but in the end, their survival just came down to dumb luck, so she merely smiled and said, "Good luck~...", before rolling the dice onto the table, "Higher"

When the woman spoke, Masami had only nodded in response, not knowing what to say to the woman that he was competing with. It wasn't really the time to bid people good luck if they'd be waving them goodbye a few minutes afterwards, and Masami didn't want to look weak by repeating what she mentioned. He silently rolled the dice with one hand again, "Lower than fifty." Masami repeated what he mentioned a while ago, and then dropped the magical dice down to the table. Still, he did not know what makes this dice so magical and special. Was it doing something this whole time other than deciding every second?

Well, he looks like a stiff one, there's for sure~ Alisa could understand that posture if they were running around for their lived but... There was nothing at play here but luck, not even the island master himself could influence the odds of this game by any way other than loading the dice, which she honestly doubted he'd. Really didn't feel like his style at all, he had that going for him at the very least. In the end, she merely focused on her game and called it once again, "Higher"

Seemed like they were both splitting their odds then huh? Well this would make it interesting. He already stood ahead of her, but who knows what would happen. Their fates were in somebody else's hands in this game.

Masami remembered what it felt like to play shogi. He wasn't good at that stuff, and it was inevitable that he'd lose in the end, but he had that stimulation despite knowing that he won't win at all. He was feeling the same, can't the mask man cast some sort of calming spell to chill his nerves down? Masami was at the point of hearing his own heartbeat, "Higher than fifty." he said the opposite this time, thinking that getting correct three times a row was an illusion (and that he'd hoped that he assumed correctly) and that sometimes, you've got to disappoint Lady Luck too.

That wasn't going too well for her now, was it...? Once again Alisa felt a bead of sweat trickling down her forehead, looking at her opponent and then at the dice before her. In a game like this, it wasn't really over until he actually got those seven points. A lot could go wrong between then and now, but quite frankly, with every extra point he got over her, the slimmer her chances would have looked in the end. Staying true to her course, Alisa narrowed her eyes and called it once more, "Higher"

It was gonna pay off eventually or her name isn't Alisa Vollan.
