Overall: Ren is a tall slim young man. His hair is long and black. It naturally falls straight and luckily rarely causes him trouble. Although he usually wears it down he is known the style it. Either by tying in braids or just tying it up. His face is pale with a large scar covering the left side of his face, over his eye. His left eye is a paler than his right but it’s vision is still perfect. He also has thin, split-ended eyebrows and a mole on his chin. His eyes are a very grey blue, although he rarely describes them as such. Ren usually wears formal clothing due to his upbringing. His typical attire consists of a white top with red and black highlights kept together with black belts which match with his black pants and shoes. Extra: Large scar covering the left side of his face over his eye. Smaller scars covering his back. Personality Personality: Ren is one of the few people who has very little personality at all. Growing up he was always told what to do, what to say and how to act meaning he had very little time to cultivate any personality of his own. Due to this kind of upbringing he is very impressionable and often takes what he is told as fact. This also means Ren very gullible. Ren is also very loyal. Although he doesn’t take his own opinions on trusting others into account, if he is told to follow orders and trust a particular person he does so without question and to the letter. Although it could be seen that he is trusting it is more so that he knows no other way than to do what he is told. Left to his own devices though Ren is much more quiet and anxious. He rarely knows what to do when by himself or not given an order. This makes him very indecisive and nervous day to day. He usually circumvents this by planning out what he does each day. Although he can handle surprises he very much dislikes them. While he is in control of a situation though he doesn’t feel anxious at all and acts rather cold and demeaning. Growing up he was exposed to harsh comments and lack of remorse and Ren emulates this perfectly. He rarely takes other people’s feelings into account unless he is told so. Although he may act cold his intentions are usually good. Ren never goes out of his way to make others feel bad and if others can get passed his initial cold nature he is a rather nice young man. Magic Magic Name: Wind Magic Magic Element: Wind Magic Description: Wind Magic allows Mages to utilize air, more specifically, wind as a form of offense, self buffing Speed as well as Self buffing Attack. Ren's wind magic in particular focuses mainly on offence. Either with harsh gust of winds, whirlwinds or even blades of wind. Ren also buffs himself with the magic by embodying the essence of wind, specifically it's fierce speed and ferocity. The magic is very versatile and ever changing as the wind itself. History History: In the warm month of July, Ren was born. He was born it a great head of dark hair, which seemed to be as dark as a crow feathers, hence the name Ren. Ren’s birth was one at home, surrounded by his family. Ren was raised in a large family near the coast of Royma. His upbringing was rather different to most. Being apart of such a big family one would think he didn’t get too much attention but quite the opposite was true. In fact he and his siblings were all very involved with their parents and each other. Little did they know but this was to suss out the children, to try and determine which part of the family they would accel in. Ren’s family was vast and it covered various types of work, most of which involved taking on missions, some more sinister than others. Weather it was a simple office job or hands on worker, Ren’s family would always try their best to make the younger children feel like they could chose anything. Although the family tried to do this, they knew they had to keep with their traditions and any of their kids who couldn’t provide would be excommunicated from the family. Now, as all of Ren’s brothers, sisters and cousins were finding themself growing up, he remained the same. A shy boy who couldn’t make a decision by himself. Ren’s parents became very concerned over this. Ren needed to choose what he wanted to do in his life, but was the way of their family. Yet no matter what they tried Ren remained a loyal and complicit boy following every order given to him. Eventually his parents had enough and it came time for Ren to prove his worth and if he was worthy of the family name. This tough love approach almost killed Ren. Being put up against a fearsome creature without any commands as to what to do, it was enough to nearly kill Ren. Thankfully he survived but a large scar on his face was a reminder of the incident. Although by law of the family Ren should have been excommunicated, his parents took the blame for pushing it on their son and came up with an alternative. Instead of being excommunicated totally, Ren would be sent away from his family to train in Fiore. There he was going to find himself and earn his part in the family. If he couldn’t he would never be allowed to return. Ren had no qualms with this since it was an order. Still, leaving was not as easy as he thought it would be. Thankfully Ren soon joined the Rune Knights. A guild like subsidy that followed the law and made others do so too. A perfect place for the naive young mage to grow. As a side note, Ren also adopted the name Liath as a illegitimate last name. This was done primarily to save any conversation as to why he has no last name at all. Reference: |
