Mishiko went through the papers and looked at Yuurei. "So...," she was about to start speaking, but then her eyes gazed at the papers that were now in her hands. She saw the diagram of a large mechanical contraption which detailed about how it was the Emergency Shut Down that probably caused the windows and doors to be closed off. She turns and shows Yuurei her find. "I guess we go in the basement... Probably where the most hauntings are," she looked away with her X shaped pupils and then towards the door, walking out. She waited for Yuurei to follow of course as there was nothing else to be found here. If this switch will set them free, then they need to go to the room.

Her hand still had her suitcase which Yuurei seemed to not have grabbed one. As she had that thought on mind, she heard Akuko scream. She was hesitant to follow up on it as she knew that this house was obviously dangerous. "W-we should probably continue down, checking on anyone else might cause us to die as well," assuming that's why she screamed. She knew Akuko very well and the only thing that scared the woman, was death herself. Which was iconic due to her friend (Mishiko) being the Demigoddess of Death. With Yuurei they went down the hall and down the stairs that lead to the basement.

@Mishiko As you go downstairs, you alone will bump into a random camera laying on the floor with a trial of blood leading to a room. The camera's Sidescreen will be still open. Rather or not you pick this up and watch what's on it or go into the room is up to you, unless your next roll with your partner is too low then, quite unfortunate for what will come for you.

Yuurei wouldn’t find anything on the walls, but he would find something through the things he touched and examined. It would seem like there was something in the basement that could have undone the mechanism that trapped them inside the mansion. This wasn’t as he kind of didn’t want to go to the basement. He sigh though as this was getting spookier and creepy by the second.

“Oh man, the basement? This isn’t going to go well.” He said shaking his head as he had to be brave, so that way they didn’t freak out.


He followed Mishiko as it was their only option for the time being. Still, one thing he was wondering was this, what the hell happened to the others? When he thought about that, he would hear someone scream throughout the mansion. This would cause him to freeze for a second as he would look up to the second floor. He would shake his head because he heard Mishiko, and he would continue along.

“Well, that was a loud scream indeed.” He said wondering what would happen to them in the basement.

He made sure to walk down the steps carefully to make sure they didn't step on something or trigger anything.

Manzo You have ignored the whispers of the spirits and now have reached the limit of their hospitality. As you inspect the walls you will just see how thick they were. Suddenly, you hear loud footsteps behind you, but when you turn around, there's nothing there. The lights flicker like crazy and when you turn around again you will see multiple nurses behind you with needles. They corner you into the wall and each share a turn sticking their own needle into your body, injecting unknown liquids into your blood. Emptying their syringes, you will suddenly feel lightheaded, purple liquid pours out of your nose and mouth and a sudden urge of chocking on the liquid develops, killing you.

Manzo has died and may sign up to try again. He can claim 6 Pumpkin pops.

Mishiko nodded towards Yuurei's reply. As she walked she bumped into a camera as she heard a dragging movement. She bent down to touch the camera, but not picked it up. Blood led towards a room, and she shook her head. Some have said that curiosity kills the cat. The camera could be a trap for all she knew. She stood up and opened her case quickly to see what was in there. She saw an older paper scroll that was all rolled up. Next to it, was a bottle filled with three large pills. "Sanity Pills", it had on a strip of tape on the bottle. "Interesting..." she coldly spoke as she opened the bottle to take a pill. She blinked a few times and felt a sudden pang, but now the blood was gone.

She opened the map and saw how large this place was. "This is rather... huge.", she sighed and saw where they were since they came from the upper left of the map. So they needed to go right for a few rooms. "Number... wait, Let's go down the hall and to the left," she closed the map and put it back in her suitcase. These sanity pills should be good enough for a little bit.

Actions: Opened cased, got revealed the room with the lever, took sanity pill x1, taking Yuurei with.

Yuurei

Yuurei would walk down the steps with Mishiko and he would see that something was off with her. He wasn’t sure what it was, but the camera was something she ignored. He thought about looking at the camera but shook his head because there was no point in that. She was leading the way and he noticed that she had a briefcase with her. He didn’t remember being at the entrance, but it was probably because he was thinking about food.

When she started moving, he would follow and he would see that she swallowed a pill from the case that she opened.

“Oh could I get one of those?” He asked her wondering if she would share.

He would keep following her though as he was listening to her.

“What do you think happened to the other three that were with us?” He said paranoid as he would look side to side to make sure nothing would jump at them.

Action: Looked around while following Mishiko

Mishiko, the Demigod of Death and Madness, what a treat for myself. You have used a pill to take away the insanity you would've received from your past roll, but the same can't be said for Yuurei. Will you share you pills with him so he may have a chance for next round or will you let him die and survive on your own? His namesake does go along with yours.~ Quite fitting if you ask me.

She was about to put the pills away before they went towards the room, but hearing him ask for one made her stop. She was hesitant. Not because she didn't want to, but because would he do the same for her? She was a fool, still somewhat naive, so she opened the bottle and gave him one. She felt like she'll regret it later, but she wanted to believe in him. "H-here..." she softly spoke in her ghostly way. After putting the map and bottle away, they went towards the room she spoke of earlier. As they walked to the room and before opening the door, she heard his question.

"Death, they probably died...hence the scream. Akuko specifically is afraid of death which is ironic since... I am who I am," she left it at that and opened the door to reveal a large room with cogwheels of all sizes and finally, the switch. "We should both try to open it," she walked towards the lever and waited for him. As she did, she looked towards the stairs that lead all the way upwards. What was exactly up there? Before worrying about it, she waited for him.

Actions: Gifted him 1x Pill (1 left) and found the lever room, waiting to pull it with Yuurei.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at her as he wondered if she would hand it to him. He felt like he would be fine without it, but she would hand him one. He would smile and he would take the pill and swallow it without hesitating. She lived when she took it, so he should be fine.

Yuurei would nod a bit as he would feel his hair spike up from behind. That wasn’t good, which meant one of them would be next. Therefore he decided to stick together, and he planned on doing this until the end.

“I see, I think I would have perished too if I didn’t think to stick with someone. Still, you and Akuko seemed like good friends, are you not sad about her dying?” He asked as he rubbed the back of his head.

They would look at the room that they were in and he would look at the switch. He would help her out with the switch as it would be rude not to work together after she shared it with him.

“Sure.” He simply said as he helped with the switch.

Yuurei would start moving forward and he hoped that it wasn’t his last step or breath to take.

Action: Took pill, moved to the next area

Mishiko and Yuurei; You have shared your pill, only have one left. Due to your pill though, Yuurei is alive and may proceed to help you pull the lever. Thanks to both of the rolls in total, you have successfully pulled it, but then you hear groans, and a dark aura starts to devour the walls and the floor, getting closer to you both. To your right are stairs that go all the way up. The only way you can go now, but will you make it? If one really looks at the large aura, you can see that they are all faces of every patient and worker in the facility that died in the lock down years ago.

Your next rolls are safe due to the pills.

To escape, the players must run up the stairs for 3 posts. You need to get up there before the evil spirits cut off the rope and chains to close your only escape in the attic. That and the fact they are now chasing you. The Survivors may share their roll numbers to escape together.

Anything 10 and below = Death.

Both of them pulled the lever, enough to finally see the old machine working. The chains were pulling something above, but by the time it was happening she heard groans of death. If anything, Mishiko knew death when she heard and saw it. She glared and looked towards the stairs, holding Yuurei's hand to quickly go up the stairs. Her heart was beating as she held onto a man's hand, but this was a necessary thing as they had to get the hell out.

For some reason she felt unbeatable as they went up the 'first' set of stairs. Her eyes looked back as they kept up the pace to see the misty aura of souls devour the stairs behind them, ganging up on their movement. If any moment they stopped, they will most likely die. Nervously, she let go of his hand while running upstairs, took the last pill for preparation just in case she felt like she needed it. Finally, she threw the case to the side and finished running with him to now be on the second set of stairs that was the first floor to the second floor.

Actions: Hurried to grab Yuurei's hand, prep'd last pill to take and ran the hell upstairs.

Yuurei

Yuurei would see that they were able to get the lever down. It was a joint effort, and he was happy about that. Still, now that they were able to do this, it would seem like something else had happened. He would see the walls being consumed by a dark aura.

“What the hell is going on here? We set a trap for ourselves?” He asked as he would feel his hand being grabbed.

It was then he would see that they were moving to stairs and he would start running up them with Mishiko holding his hand.

“I guess we got to outrun this or else we’re dead meat. Still, I’m not going to lie this is interesting and kind of exciting.” He said as he would move to the second set of steps with Mishiko.

He wondered what was going to happen. Would he trip or would she trip? He hoped neither of them fell and that they both could make it out alive.

Action: Accepts her grabs his hand and runs with her. Running up the second set of stairs with Mishiko

Both of them seemed flimsy, but enough to keep their sanity high and continue up the stairs. She hurried and took another pill as she felt that adrenaline melt off. She hoped that she will make it and if the pills lasted a bit last time then this should be enough for her. All she knew was that she will try her best to keep Yuurei alive with her. It was odd, as Mishiko wasn't really a people person, more like shy than anything, but kept a personal bubble around her. Yuurei made it easier for her for some reason.

If nothing went wrong, they will finally hit the stairs that was second floor to the attic now. Every now and then she will look back while making sure she wouldn't trip on anything. Her eyes witnessed the souls of here. Was that going to be the same for those she has killed in her past? It reminded her of it.

Actions: Took the last pill and continued running with Yuurei to the Attic

Yuurei

Yuurei would feel himself slipping a bit, but he was able to keep pushing. He didn’t like that he was allowing his excitement to screw him over. He had to relax as he was running up to Mishiko. He wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but he knew that if he messed up again, then it would be over for him.

He hoped for the best, but he figured that if he didn’t make it, then at least she would be able to succeed in it all.

“We got this onward. We are going to get out of this place and make sure that we at least survive.” He said as he would hop that it would encourage her to keep moving.

The Nephilim would see that the dark aura was truly consuming this place, and it would seem like if anything, whoever was caught would be consumed by darkness and eaten by it.

Action: Yuurei keeps running. He also made sure to give Mishiko some words of encouragement.

Kuri watched from the shadows as she waited for her time to claim another soul, or perhaps give another chance. Her eyes gazed as Mishiko was smart enough to follow directions of getting a case, but no one else did. Shame. Her eyes witnessed quite a romance story without the romance as they held hands to escape this horror show she created... together. It was sickly cute. Reminds her of her story with Kazi in another realm she destroyed. Sadly, his luck seemed to have run out cause the pills didn't last forever.~

His hand started to slip from Mishiko's and.... [rolls]
