Yuurei


Yuurei was walking through the streets of the Dahlia with Renji by his side. While he was doing this, he would notice that there was a man who was walking through the street. He had a large bag of salt on his back and it would seem like he was struggling. He would approach the man and when the guy saw them, he would stop moving. He would smile at him, and he wondered if Yuurei would be able to help him.

“Do you think you could help me carry this bag of salt please?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile at him as he was more than happy to help him with that. He would take the bag from his back, and he would put it on his shoulder. Eowin was happy to have this off his back and he would open it and start taking some of the salt from the bag.

Yuurei was wondering what he was doing and he would see that he was making symbols with the staff that he had with him as well. He would finish doing this and he would look over to Yuurei and nudge him to follow him. The light mage would do just that as the bag of salt wasn’t that heavy for him. He would walk through the streets, and it would seem like he would take salt out every now and then and he would draw more symbols. It wasn’t just that, but he would also flick salt to windows and doors as well.

The light mage wondered if this was some type of ritual that he was doing. He was hoping it was to protect the homes of those who lived here. He didn’t want to beat up this old man for doing something evil to their home. Still, he would do some chanting under his breath before moving on to the next area.

The trio would move through the streets of Dahlia in peace. It wasn’t bad to do this, and he could tell that nobody would bother them. Still, he would watch Eowin continue to do what he did, and soon enough they would finish the bag of salt. He would hand over the bag to Eowin, and the man would have a smile on his face.

“Thank you for your help. I have sanctified the abandoned roads of Dahlia. I also made sure to protect the homes of those who live here as well. Here is your reward for the help.” He said to Yuurei.

He would hand over a bag of jewels. Yuurei would take and he would nod as if he had been rewarded for his small job. Yuurei would look over to Renji and the two of them would walk away from the old man and onto another area in Dahlia.
