And she were a player, a true competitor who had seen her favor and advantage stripped from her, forced to go out to other means. To her delight, it now rested within her possession, stored safely away within her mechanisms, even her greatest enemies left not to be able to secure it.
However, for as delighted as she were to have secured her prize, Astrid felt that she were still returning to Crocus empty-handed of sorts. The lips of Alisa Vollan, the beautiful Guild Master whom she could not deny a charm towards, something that eluded her. Worse, throughout her trip back, the sequence played within her head, the taunting efforts made by the Blue Pegasus master, how much and how desperately she would have wished to enjoy the fruits of such an alliance forged. There would be time to revisit, she reasoned, but it would not be now sadly.
The priority was security of the scroll within Crocus, one of the few locations within Fiore where such safety was guaranteed, especially for what she had managed to achieve. Fortunate, considering the circumstances that stood to befall her now, a matter that did require her presence within another part of Fiore.
