Kaito was going out on another day of taking care of the sick and wounded so there would have to be a lot of things to lug along with him as he goes as the staff had seemingly gotten more and more lazy about doing their jobs and helping care for the sick and the hurt and Kaito figures that he guessed right and that they were cutting funding so those people were not getting paid enough to do the job anymore so they were just half assing it and not really putting their hearts into it. Kaito is very displeased as this island just seemed to be turning into a rotting mess and the people were a blight here. Kaito was not going to give up and he was going to redouble his efforts as he needed to get it all out there and keep himself going to make sure that he was in the right here by not giving up and he would heal and fix what he could.

Kaito hurried and he got to tending to the people that the other staff were ignoring and not taking their time to help as they were just here to be paid their lessened money and not do real work for it anymore as the pay cuts were hurting them and the others as there was nothing that could be done to stop them. Kaito is wrist deep in fixing up the person he had walked up to that had needed aid as soon as possible. Revy transforms and helps him with it as this person looked like some one had fired a metal ball through them like a test dummy for a weapon or something and they get it cleaned out and trouble starts raining down from above and Kaito makes a portal to keep the rain out of the wound and he gets it closed and makes shelter for the other people that are seeking help to come to and be tended to as there were enough people there.

His team got there to help and they looked around at the other staff that were just standing around and just speaking about how they might as well just let these people die as they were not going to pay him enough to keep going like this so he might as well trike with them and just forget doing the work and get paid for nothing. Kaito sighs at them and he keeps helping those that were willing to be treated by him and his team as there were a mountain of reasons not to trust them with how the other staff were acting toward them as more of burdens and not people like they should be, being treated as treated as people and not just injured cattle that they needed to just let be put down for their own sakes to save time and effort. Kaito really can't stand this as he keeps treating people and taking his time not to miss anything and Revy helps and fixes the extra parts that were broken.

He saw that his team were getting closer and closer to knocking out a few of the staff that were bad mouthing himself as he was still doing the caring and tending and not standing with them on their strike of doing work till the wages went back up for it but Kaito sees the lives being worth more than the jewels that they were striking for so he wasn't going to stop and he was still tending to them and Kaito called them over to himself and told them not to take the bait as they were trying to get hit so they could claim that anyone of them was too dangerous to be around the people and might also get him banned from helping the people that need them right now. Kaito has to make sure that they are thinking with their heads and not their anger and he takes over the place closer to the staff that jeer and boo him.

Kaito doesn't pay them any mind as he keeps caring and saving the lives of the people in front of him that were in need of the help and saving as he wasn't going to just throw away other peoples lives for something that in the long scheme means nothing and is just greed he was doing this to save people but in the end he wondered if it was a hero complex or if he was really a good person as it seemed that everyone poked their heads into it calling him one thing or the other. Kaito makes sure that they are stable and not in any danger as there were many things that could go very wrong very fast but he wanted to make sure that they didn't let these things get out of hand. Kaito was here for the long run not for some short and sweet run as he needed to make sure that they got to the point that fighting for what they believed in was the right choice and not that their lives are something that could just be thrown away.

Kaito and the team had nearly fully cleared out the area as there were not many left and most of them were just repairs and pills so that was an easy thing to get handled and he was not going to back down from these things and he was making sure that the staff didn't mess with anything that might cause them to hurt or kill someone while they treated the people that had come through the doors of this place after he had moved the caring to inside of a building to keep the people dry and warm Kaito had really done the best that he could to make sure that they all stay comfortable and safe as he starts sending off the last of them and he gets himself cleaned up and his team was not far behind him as he went out of the place and past the heartless bastards that just wanted to stand around and watch people die right in front of them when they had the resources and power and skills to save them he was sickened by them all.
