Kaito received this as a urgent request so he figured the best thing he can do is hurry to the request giver who seems to be in good spirits which seemed to be out of character for what Kaito had been expecting to come into from the man and he sits as the man tells him as he is served some snacks and fruit punch and he starts getting to the low down that the mans Heirloom had come up missing and that he had to find it if he can and the chief had a small moment of sadness at the thought of losing it but if Kaito hadn't been looking he would have never known the man had faltered for even a second in his seemingly goo upbeat mood. Kaito gets what the piece looks like and it's size and he heads out of the door and he begins to look for it in the Aina forest when the chief had told him that he believed that it had been lost at and he comes across another man.

The man seemed a bit banged up but didn't look like his wounds were fresh and he looked like he had been treated, the man knowing what these two were looking for starts to spill his guts to them so that they could maybe work together to find it or get it back and he smiles and Kaito nods his head allowing the man to join them and to lead them to where the man had fought this beast that he had spoke of while they started to search the man filled them in on what the beast was and how much of a threat it could be, but Kaito hadn't really paid it any mind as he was not scared of the beast, he was more focused on finding the heirloom that was needed to be found then he was some big beast that is probably a push over.

They searched the area over and they had found nothing and Kaito asks the man if he can lead them to the beasts den or not and the man didn't know where the beasts den was at but he knew where it's hunting grounds usually where and he leads Kaito to them and Kaito makes bait for the beast as Kaito wondered if maybe the beast had seen the shiny heirloom and decided to take it home with it and if he can find the den they can wait for it to leave the den so he can safely check and keep this a no fighting request cause he isn't really looking to fight and he doesn't want to have to kill the beast if it has been living that long here it was also none of his business and it was up to the people of this island to kill it if that was what was needed to happen.

He along with the other man and Revy wait for the beast to show itself but Kaito is wondering if the beast might be a bit smarter than he is giving it credit for and he keeps his eyes peeled and he sees the beast getting close and it was moving in a wide arcing path. He realizes that it is doing this to try and lower it's chances of being tracked by the islanders, this beast was smart and he sees why it had lived so long and it takes the bait eating it. Kaito signals the other two to stay put and he would stalk the beast and find the den. He tracks the beast which is still doing the pathing wide as it was smarter movements as a hunter getting tire and their impatience growing might strike out early before finding the den of the beast he wonders what hardships it had lived through.

This sort of reinforced his ill feelings toward humans as they had caused this beast to need to make this and take these kind of steps and he feels a bit sick to his stomach and he feels like maybe he shouldn't find his heirloom but he had already taken the job and he was gonna see it through. The beast walked up to it's den and he makes sure to stay low, as the beast tried to fake it wasn't his den and it moved on. The beast couldn't fool Kaito as he could smell the matching scents of the den and the beast so he opens a portal Revy and the other man walking through and they hurry to check the den and see if the heirloom is there and Revy finds it in the very back of the den. Revy raises it up and the man sees it and he is over joyed that they had been able to find it and he lets them hold onto it and will let them be the ones to hand it back to his brother.

That is when Kaito hears a stick break and he sees the beast running at Revy and Kaito gets in front of the beast and with one hand flips the beast away and the beast gets back up and it keeps its sights on Kaito the other man moves to help but his wounds and injuries from the day before effect him and he trips and he falls holding his ribs and the man watches as the boar hits Kaito with it's tusk but it just bounced off of him, the man is so confused how that had just happened then Kaito tosses the boar again one handed and this time into the wall and the beast doesn't get up as fast this time around and Kaito stops the man from killing the beast while it was down. The man looks at him confused and Kaito just shakes his head and leads the man back to his brothers home and he hands over the heirloom and he takes his payment and they eat dinner together the man understanding why Kaito hadn't killed the beast.
