Description: As the weapons of war continue to develop and improve, so must the defenses required. Taking the idea of protecting one’s body and building further upon it, this more primitive iteration of armor sacrifices looks and flexibility in favor of greater protection. With the torso almost entirely guarded by thick layers of iron, this piece of armor provides far greater protection than what would be offered in more flexible options.
