Cailyn looked at the sun beginning to fall just under the horizon out of her sight as the sun did since the beginning of the gods, perhaps once she thought of it proof of the gods existence, but now she felt it was more so a display of power, they could both give the sun and take it away. The battle of..Sieghart mountain in which she found herself in was a endless battle and she had rested for days just to recover, she had struggled to kill eighty five of those giants and since then she realized that her magiea levels were off, no, it wasn't her magiea but rather her spell output was far weaker than she was, she was holding back..?

All these thoughts crossed her head many times and now as the sun set and the felt the power of the night and her blood coursing through her veins, Cailyn felt the need to do something about it. So what did she do? Well Cailyn upon the sun setting took up a rather long winded plan. First she sought out about a hundred pieces of paper, on the note? A simple invitation to come and fight her, not just any fight mind you. A single rule, if you could hit her three times she will buy you a drink, if she hits you , you buy her a drink. It was a game in her village the young men often played, a test of strength, endurance, and moderation because after all, a gut full of wine was one destined to fail.

So with the invitations written Cailyn knew among the troops one that possessed a type of paper control magic, asking him Cailyn was able to convince him to send papers throughout all of the guild territory or at least as far as he possibly could, his magic wasn't terribly strong but that was of no consequence as she Cailyn decided to use her raw speed to put her invitations all around, inviting everyone to try there luck at the training dome. Everyone having a chance to get a bit more combat experience, and building relationships, she wondered if Aeris would be proud of her, she hoped to wake her up soon.

So with the night dawning in a way, Cailyn freshened herself up and change into a more comfortable attire for brawling, a dark purple shirt with reddish hexagon colors in it's center outlined in black and in a white to grayish box, the shirt matching the pants that had the same design however the center down was black in color and leather like material, she wore high heeled boots as well as full arm sleeves that stretched down forming gloves with holes to allow a bit more flexing of her fingers.  

She felt like she was dressed in such a way that she would look almost weak yet sexy, they would know just what type of training the priestess of old have taught her, and what she has become since then.

It was a nice day today, there wasn’t much for him to do, and he was on his own. He enjoyed being with others, but there were times he needed time to himself. He was at the bar that was within the guild, and he was relaxing a bit and drinking. The pacing of his drinking was rather slow, and while he did that, he was venting anything he was going through to the bartender. While he was doing this, he was allowing himself to sober up, which was a good thing. It didn’t bother him at all, and soon enough a letter was given to him. He would read through it all and he figured he would go and accept the invitation that was out there for him.

He would get up from his seat as he would make his way to the training dome. He had his gauntlet in his right hand. The Nephilim had allowed his friend to do whatever he wanted for the day, so he kept his items on him. The person who invited him was the newest addition to the group. He wasn’t sure who she was, but he knew that when she appeared the red-headed woman had collapsed. He wasn’t sure what the correlation to it was, but he did know one thing, and that she was beautiful.

He walk through the outside of the Guild until he made his way to the training dome. There he would look around to see a woman in shorts, a matching top, and heels would be waiting for someone to arrive. Yuurei happen to be that person and he would wave at them as it seemed like he was going to be her challenger for the day.

“So if I remember correctly, your name is Cailyn right? Well, it’s nice to formally meet you. The name is Yuurei.” He said as he waved at her.

“I was surprised with your invitation here, but glad you sent one my way.” He said this as he would take off his button-down shirt and placed it on the side of the training dome.

Yuurei planned to fight her shirtless, as he would move towards her. He would stop when he was forty meters away from her. The berserker would start stretching a bit as he was looking at her. It was like he said she was truly a thing of beauty, but how strong was she was his next thought. The dome itself was about fifty meters high, but the length was about one hundred meters long, allowing multiple people to be there and fight among other things.

Once he was done with the stretching, he would get into a fighting position waiting to see what her move would be.

Handing out the invitations to spar with her in the training dome as a game in exchange for drinks, and possible guild relationships Cailyn headed straight there just in case there were going to be any early arrivals.

She had been at the battle and she knew the troops were all pretty decent, yet she knew most could not touch her, she wasn't actually planning to make them pay for her drinks, but she hoped the lie would motivate them anyway. Despite that, people like the Dwarfing, Brone, although he might have been fast as her his strength was on another level, she knew not of the other members or even the leader Khalfani, in which she has now learned Aeris had sworn loyalty too. She would have a chat with him soon, but today was about fun.

Stretching, what she would not expect was that the very person who came to the training dome was one of rather high skill, his tales stretched all over the land of Fiore so that even a foreign such as herself could not ignore. "Yes, Yuurei, slayer of a dragon and somewhat of a shining hope among the people of Fiore, I believe the pleasure is all mine." Cailyn responded as he waved from the furthest reaches of the entrance of the training dome.

Similar to Yuurei, Cailyn began walking towards the center, while he stopped forty meters away from her she however kept on walking closing the distance down to twenty meters apart. Glancing around the dome she thought the structure about hundred meters across, they were about now equally forty meters from the edge. Just to keep that in mind since he was her first opponent, the priestess taught her to always survey the area and attempt to control the battle field. Like the tiger of her home land she needed to be intelligent, flexible, and above all have the will of a wild beast. The gods only spoke to ones that proved worthy, physically and mentally.

"I sent one to everyone to be frank, you however are just the first to arrive, if the stories hold true you may very well be my last as well, Yuurei Starlight."

Seeing Yuurei begin to stretch Cailyn prepared as well, "Thank you Gaea for providing me such a talented sparing partner although I thought this day to be fun, you have provided me a education in the form of a men, Thank you as well Yuurei Starlight for this battle, however brief this may be."

She imagined that she had very little chance to defeat someone that defeated a dragon, she was strong but not that strong, her magic as well was not to powerful despite possessing high magical energy within her that was proving struggling for her to tap into thanks to her vampiric blood flowing through her. She herself was not fully adjusted.

Anyway, all thoughts aside Cailyn could see Yuurei would not attack first and so she would have to start on the offensive, not usually her style but she would have to manage. "Here I come then." Cailyn said pressing down on her right foot, her left as well but the pressure she was exerting on her right was higher as she quickly took off towards Yuurei in a zig-zag fashion moving at about eight meters per second, but then she would immediately cross the second half as she speed up crossing the rest of the twelve meters lowering almost to her knees while she twisted her body into a spin , right arm elbow thrusting towards Yuurei stomach.

Yuurei would hear what she had said about him, and he was actually surprised about it. He didn’t know people knew about the dragon thing, but he figured people in Rush Valley loved to chat. Still, he was glad that people knew what he had done, which meant he would have better influence when he did things around the country. While he watched the beauty prepare herself it seemed like she had also closed the gap between them a bit more.

He respectfully always stopped at forty meters to give people more room to do things, but if she wanted to be closer that was fine. He figured this meant she was a close-range combatant, but he would find out soon enough. Once she truly finished speaking, he would have a smile on his face.

“It won’t be your last. I will always be here to train. I only want this guild to prosper. It’s still a baby, but the people in this guild make it very strong. I just want to help make it stronger.” He said with a smirk on his face.

He didn’t know whether this was going to be a brief fight, but he figured he would test her out. The light mage kept being told he was one of the strongest mages in this guild. He wasn’t sure about that, but if it were true, it was best to make sure that he had gauged everyone else’s ability then. He would move his feet, so he wouldn’t be caught flatfooted by Cailyn. He knew thing one for sure, was to never underestimate your opponent.

She would be the first to attack, which is what he wanted. His eyes watched her movements, and just from the beginning, he knew that she was a fighter. This was good and quick enough she would be able to close the gap between them. He was ready as he would watch her spin around and aimed for his stomach. He was going to take the hit, but remember that if he got hit, he would be the one buying the drink.

He wanted to gauge her power, but at the same time, he wanted her to work for the drink he was going to buy her anyways. The light mage would find himself lunging back about seventeen meters to avoid the attack and when he landed, he would start running towards her. He would also move in a zig-zag motion; his speed starting slow at nine meters and after a few seconds shooting up to thirty-five meters.

The distance closed between them was quick and he would attempt to ram into her left shoulder. He wanted to test what she would do, but he also wanted to see if she could take the hit. If he would miss, he would keep running at full speed and moving in a zigzag.

“If you want you can use your magic.” He told her allowing her to know he was fine with anything she used.

He, on the other hand, would use his gauntlet and his own abilities for the time being. He was working on himself and trying to better his combat abilities. He knew that with his magic he would be much scarier to deal with.

Caitlyn realized Yuurei missed the point of what she actually meant, it would be her last not because he was leaving but rather she sensed he would win and her defeat would leave her all but to exhausted to fight another person, however none of this would pass her lips as she drank in Yuurei words about him being always available to train, he though the guild people to be strong but he wanted to make them stronger and see the place prosper, "Noble indeed Starlight."

"Well then.." Saying her prayer to Gaea before starting Cailyn already figured he was testing her, more so after what he just said, it seemed he was taking somewhat of a instructor or teacher role, Cailyn didn't mind, she would immerse herself into the experience. Closing in by shifting between a slow to fast speed, with such tales of valor yet never seeing him or hearing much about his magic Caitlyn was going in blindly without being able to know how to react beforehand but she would just have to think on the go.

And so the spar between the two began in earnest with Caitlyn making the first move as Yuurei was hinting her to do, shifting in between two speeds allowing her to cross the distance in mere seconds over to him, her movement flowing into a lowering spin to elbow his stomach. Now Yuurei was showing a card, as she was just about to hit him he lunged backwards about seventeen meters away, her own lunge had only been capable of reaching up to fifteen meters, was he faster as well? She would assume so.

Although this was under the operation of the game, Caitlyn was all so excited for this. If the first encounter within this guild was already crazy enough she imagined danger would be around every corner for all of there futures yet she felt no fear but excitement, her battle song was beginning to cry out as Yuurei began sprinting at her going at nine meters, Caitlyn doing the same intending to try and match his speed to show her full capabilities.

In a near instant as Yuurei sped up so did she, however while his body was leaned in for a shoulder ram, Cailyn did something possibly unexpected. The moment she had made it to the twenty seven meter ahead leaving only but three meters between them she leaned forward bending her knees down to lunge off the ground in a dive motion about three inches off the ground as they  got even closer while she leaned towards his left side.

Following her dive Caitlyn used her right hand to slam it onto the ground in front of her, bending her arms and pushing back up with her muscles to do a air spin back onto her feet, landing she  reclose the mere few meters of distance between her and Yuurei by not playing games and running back to him at thirty meters a second, her immediate action this this time was for her right palm to reach out towards his chest section, her palm closing as her index and middle fingers curved out so her knuckled dug deep into his skin as she thrust it out to connect, if it did so.

She did hear him say using her magic was okay, but she wanted this to last a bit longer before she tried to rely on that, a practioner of mageia shouldn't rely holy on one's magical abilities. She was going to, but not just yet. Just a little longer.

Yuurei would try to ram his shoulder straight into her, but in the end, she would dodge the attack. He figured much. It seemed like she was quick on her feet, which was a good thing. It also meant that he was allowed to go faster if he wanted to put her into a corner. Still, for now, he kept running and somehow, she would have landed on the ground in front of him. He would see what she was going to do, and it would seem like she was ready to strike him in his chest. He was close to her, but when he had missed his attack against her, his body had shifted.

He was able to move better now that he was leaning in with an attack on someone who had dodged it. The next thing for him to do was simple. He had options as she was moving at a speed he could work with. The Nephilim would simply find himself moving to Cailyn’s right. He would dodge the attack as he was next to her now. While he was sidestepping, he had already brought his left hand back as he gathered force into the that arm before letting go of the rope. His arm would launch straight towards her. He was aiming at her extended arm that was next to him of Cailyn.

If he would hit her the force would be enough for her to hear something pop. That arm would be useless for her for the remainder of the fight. This was, of course, something Yuurei would know nothing about. He was testing her speed and now, he was trying to see her endurance. His right hand never made a move as he was ready to protect himself with that hand. He also saw that she was the type of person who moved and got lower than her opponents. It made him expect possible attacks that required her to use her feet or even fall to the ground for an attack

They were right next to each other and only a few feet away that their attacks can reach each other. Once this happened he knew what he was planning on doing next to make this interesting for her and see his power.

Landing on her feet after her mid-air spin Caitlyn flowed right into her counterstrike, using a quick moving burst of running speed to close the distance between them in a matter of a second, her right hand palm outstretching with her middle and index finger knuckles aiming for Starlight's chest. She suppose there was no rule against it and honestly it was educational, but to have the man copy what she did not once but twice with such ease she supposed she was feeling some type of way, a bit annoyed yet she found it alluring to be beaten at her own game.

So, Starlight shifting before she could move fully into position, immediately took a side step as her outstretched fore fingers hit air, a bit of a "swoosh" with her fully impact extending, so her complete miss left her open and her eyes shifted towards the man himself as he seemed to crank back what looked like a powerful fist that was aimed towards her, no space really between them and only seconds left this was the moment Caitlyn knew too use her magic, " This is fun~!" Caitlyn sung loudly, a magic circle appearing around her as she used her free hand to make a circle on her as the earth below shot up allowing granulated earth to surround her in a thin atmospheric shield.

Starlight attacking, his hand would go right through the protective layer but that was okay as Caitlyn would use that split second to spin to in front of him, throwing up her arms in a cross block as his arm struck true, "Ugh!" Caitlyn whimpered as the impact shot through her arms and her body was shot back nearly ten meters but she slammed her foot down to stop herself, taking a deep breath in and then out. "You hear the stories and the myths but even then it's hard to really expect, you are quite strong indeed, my body can still feel the impact from that punch."

It would seem like things were flowing quite nicely. Cailyn seemed to be enjoying the fight between them. That was good and he would see a magic circle as she would create something that would protect her. That was smart of her, and he was glad to see that coming from her. This was good, and he could just that their guild would continue to prosper if they had people like this. His attack would connect, but it would seem like it wasn’t strong enough to do what he intended it to do. He had done the damage, but it seemed like the earth shield she used would toughen her up a bit.

That was impressive, and he would have to give her big points for that. Still, while she had been pushed back from his attack, he would hear her words. She was complimenting him in a sense, and he would only smile at her. If people knew of him from around Fiore, that meant that he had to continue to grow. He felt this way because he knew that people would eventually come after him, and he had to be prepared. Then there was the fact that he and Khalfani destroyed a dark guild’s home not too long ago. It would mean they would get the message soon, which meant a fight would likely occur.

“What kind of weapon would you use? I see you don't have one in your person, so I figured you might pick one in the future that you feel comfortable with. You’re amazing by the way Cailyn. You’re quick on your feet, and you don’t let yourself be caught by surprise. You’re quick to make your next move even when the pressure is on. I respect it, so that is why I will show you a little something then.” He said to her.

Yuurei wasn’t going to use his magic for one reason, and it was because he was training his combat skills with his gauntlet. He would, however, pour mana into his gauntlet, which would in return make him stronger than he currently was. While doing this, he would jump back a bit to further their distance from each other. Now they were twenty-seven meters away from each other. While he did that, his eyes would start to change color, and his wings would start to come out of his back.

His wings would spread out right then and there as he had four of them ready to be used. Still, his power-up was what he wanted, and once it happened, he would start rushing straight toward her. He would close the gap between them quickly. His aura would make her weaker as he got close to her and he would swing a left hook to her abdomen, but as he was doing that, he was also throwing a right jab straight toward Cailyn. His right jab would be aiming towards the middle of her chest.

If she was able to take his hit and not fall, then she must have been quite hurt. Yuurei was monstrous when it came to power, but he still felt as if he had room to grow. It was why he continued training no matter who he was doing it with. He wasn’t sure if she could react, but at the same time, she had shown him that she was a diamond in the rough. It meant she could be refined and possibly be stronger than him soon enough.

Bested for the second time as Yuurei took a side step out of the way of her hit, she was once again put on the defensive. Barely and time to counter attack or any real plan Caitlyn distinctly felt like she was on the edge, about to lose or be defeated in some manner she wasn't planning to have to face today, the feeling of losing while even trying her best was a bit joyful, to realize she wasn't so strong and she could be stronger.

That thought Caitlyn verbally communicated to Yuurei as at the same time she activated one of her four basic and only spells, rocks growing from the earth and surrounding her as Yuurei fist came at her  now, the rocks blocking some of the force but as she could see Yuurei's raw strength was too much and he pushed right through, Caitlyn had used that small time frame to put up a cross block but as the fist came it was quite heavy and she was still pushed back by the rest of the force of the blow.

Coming to a stop by pushing down on her foot to drag herself down, she complimented Yuurei because he was probably one of the strongest beings she ever had the pleasure of getting to spar in a friendly manner. She remembered the stories she heard about him but this was more enlightening then even those stories could foretell.

A strange question crossed Yuurei lips, what weapon she would use. To be honest she never considered a weapon, she was never trained to use one at the temple, sure she dabbled in using one in secret but to do so publicly and make it part of her fighting style when pushed, didn't cross her mind but now she began to consider it. Among that he gave her quite a few compliments as well, " Such a honor to receive such praise, thank you Yuurei. As for the other interesting question, never crossed my mind. I suppose I would use a harp. I sing, a harp would amplify my voice and make it resonate more with the area. "

As she answered Yuurei moved back and after that everything happened rather quickly, so quickly in fact all she remembered was him jumping back and his eyes color changing, less than a fraction of a second later he was in front of her and her eyes almost rolled to the back of her head as he hit her full force without her being able to put up a guard before being blown back much further then before, her body in fact flying through the air as she tried to hang on to her consciousness.

"Well done.." Caitlyn spat out before consciousness faded from her as she began to slide down on the floor unconsciousness.

He waited to see what she would say about her choice of weapons. He could imagine it would be something unique. While he waited for an answer, he thought about what he could do to improve. There was a lot of fighting experience that he needed to accomplish. He had fought someone who could fly really high, people who used guns, those who took hits just to dish them back at you. There were a lot of different ways people fought, and he enjoyed the new experience as well. While he was thinking about it, his head would snap to her. She would speak and he would nod as he would hear what she said.

It was interesting to hear her choice of weapon. It was not something he would think of, but it would seem like she would be a ranged fighter. She would use her voice to fight, and that was interesting. He couldn’t wait to see that in action in the future.

“It was praise worth saying. And I cannot wait to see you use a harp in battle in the future.” He said to Cailyn.

Still, his attack was too much for her to handle. He could see that when he landed his blow it was strong enough to send her flying. She had said one thing toward him while she was losing consciousness. He would see her fall to the ground and slide on the floor. Yuurei would disperse his spell as wings would disappear, and his eyes would change back to their original color. He would crack his neck and he would stop the use of anything else he was using. He would look over to Cailyn and he would rub the back of his head.

“Once you get stronger, I can only see you as a great asset and friend.” He said this to her.

He knew that she couldn’t hear him or maybe she could. In the end, their fight was over, and he would walk over to her. He would see that she was bruised greatly from where he had hit her. He figured that it was best to take her to the infirmary room. They would be able to surely make her good as new. Once he inspected her and saw that she was still breathing, Yuurei would pick her up from the ground and placed her on his shoulder.

“I wonder, how is she related to the redhead? I mean that woman did fall unconscious that day. And if I remember she hasn’t woken up ever since. Well, enough thinking about her siblings.” He said to himself.

Now that he had Cailyn on his shoulder, Yuurei would walk out of the dome. He wondered where Renji was as he figured that the Exceed would have been here to watch the fight, but he was nowhere to be found. The light mage’s travel was a long one. While he was moving through the guild areas, a lot of the guild members would look over to see him. They were confused to see one of their own over his shoulder. It made them nervous, but they didn’t know the two of them were sparring. It wouldn’t take long before he would reach the infirmary and there, he would leave the woman with the medic mage who would tend to her wounds. Yuurei would make his leave to take a shower and rest for the day.
