Yuurei

Yuurei had remembered what Merlin had told him about meeting Abbadon at the Cathedral. It was the place that he had taken Joanne to, so he wondered if there was something going on. It wouldn't take him long to get there as he would have Renji on his shoulder. The people there would look at him and would remember that he was the guy that had brought them, Joanne. He would smile at them as he would wave at them continued moving around as he was looking for Abbadon. He figured he would ask the people here if they had seen him.

"Have you guys seen a man in red armored around?" He would ask them.

They were surprised that he was here for him, and they would point in the direction of the catacombs. Yuurei figured they probably wanted to be silent, but at least they had given him the direction he needed to find Abbadon.

Yuurei

The light mage would reach the area where Abbadon was located, and it would seem like he was in front of the catacombs. The armored man would turn to look at the additional help that Merlin basically handed him. He would stand there looking at Yuurei ready to explain the situation.

"I see you arrive, so here is what you need to know. Merlin knew there was a cultist that had snuck into the cathedral, but she wasn't able to figure out who they were. That was until she figured out what they were going to do. It seems like I came too late and they are inside of the catacombs. Will you assist me in taking them out?" He explained and waited for an answer.

Yuurei would take on everything he had said to him and he wouldn't take long to come up with an answer.

"Yes, I will help out. I brought someone here, and I don't need her getting mixed into this." He said this to Abbadon.

Now that Abbadon had gotten the young man's answer, he was ready to enter the catacombs. When they enter the catacombs, he would see that there were other priests around. He thought that they would be finding a bunch of cultists around the area, but that wasn't the case. It seemed like they were hidden amongst the other priests, which meant that this wasn't going to be as easy as they thought it would be. Still, he never got the chance to do anything as he would watch Abbadon go to work. At first, he allowed Abbadon to question one of the priests, but he would soon come to find out that this homunculus thought that everybody was suspicious.

He was surprised at how he spoke to them, and he figured that they weren't going to get anywhere if he did to everybody that was here. He had to do something to stop Abbadon from riling up the people here.

While he was moving around the catacombs, Yuurei would approach him and step in front of him. He would shake his head before speaking.

"I think we should stop questioning the priests here. Instead, let's move around and see if we could find them. They might be caught off guard doing something they shouldn't be doing." He said as he had hoped Abbadon would listen.

The armored man would hear this and he would nod as he would agree with Yuurei. This was only because Merlin told him that if Yuurei said to do something different then he was supposed to follow. They would start walking around as they were allowing the priests to do their work. Still, they kept their eyes on anything weird going on. It wouldn't take long, but they would come across a pair together. These two were doing something he didn't see any of the other priests do before. They were trying to break into a room.

The two priests would notice that there were people behind and when they turned around Abbadon was quick to attack them. Yuurei shook his head as he would run at them to join the fight as well. They would take off the robes, revealing themselves, and would try their best to fight off Abbadon who they figured was the stronger of the two of them. This allowed Yuurei to do what he needed to do as he would open the palm of both of his hands and bring out all the stars that he needed before they would enter his body. He would feel the surge of his body becoming stronger and faster, and he would soon make his way towards one of the cultists.

Yuurei would slam the guy onto the ground, which would be enough to take him out. Abbadon didn't blink to the blow Yuurei dealt, but the other guy did, which allowed Abbadon to strike him while the iron was hot. It was a short battle, but they were taken out that quick.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Abbadon would take the cultists and would tie them as they would have them sit up on the floor nearby. They didn't want to get the priest involved, so they didn't call them for help. Instead, they waited for the two of them to wake up, and soon enough they would do that. They were surprised they lost, but Abbadon would ask them if there were others in the catacombs. This would bring them both to laugh at the fact that they thought they were going to give them information.

"You think we would tell you where our boss is? He is probably close to finishing his summoning." He said to them, and the other cultist would look at him surprised at what he said.

Now that they knew that there was one more, they needed to know where he was. That was when Abbadon decided to get to work for the answers.

It wouldn't take long for Abbadon to start moving towards the two guys they had apprehended and the homunculus started torturing them. The light mage would look at the man as he was confused now about what he was doing. It seemed like he was trying to figure out where their leader was located, but they were being stubborn. The half-elf would shake his head as he couldn't be here for something like this, but it was probably the only way they were going to get an answer from them.

He walked away for a bit as he wanted no part of this. Yuurei kept moving around the cathedral and soon enough he would hear snapping noises. It would bring him to approach the three of them and he would see both men shouting and holding their arms in agonizing pain. He looked over to the Homunculus as he wasn't sure what the hell this thing was doing.

Yuurei would look at the man and figure that he would say something, but he would just walk past the mage as he knew where the leader was located. Yuurei followed behind him as he wasn't done talking to him as if he had started.

"Those were people, you couldn't just knock them out again, and then moved to a new location. It wasn't right to do something like that Abbadon." He said to the creation.

He would ignore Yuurei and keep it moving as he had nothing to say about that. It wouldn't take long, but it seemed like they were going deeper into the catacombs, and it wouldn't take them long to find the Deranged Cultist. He was surprised that they found him this quick, but it just depicted how effective the man's work was.

Still, it would seem like the leader was doing something as they had made a summoning circle in the area, they were in.

Yuurei wasn't going to allow this and he started running towards the Deranged man before Abbadon could do anything. The light mage was quick on his feet, and when the leader saw how fast this guy closed the gap it would surprise him as he would have to stop his ritual to avoid the attack. He would do just that as he had barely done so. He would feel the force behind the attack, which would reveal a small cut appearing on his face. The Cultist would slide across the floor as he had an evil smirk on his face before he started running towards Yuurei. When the man got close to the light mage, he wouldn't be able to make a move.

Abbadon was there to assist in the fight as he had caused Deranged man to dodge once again and look at the two of them. He could tell this wasn't going to be easy and he shook his head because he knew his lackeys must have gotten caught.

Abbadon would go after the Cultist again, which brought the two of them to start fighting with each other. This was good because the light mage knew that he would be able to take the guy out with a hit if he could land. That meant while he was distracted it would be easier to hit him. Yuurei would start running around and when he got into full speed, he would find himself rushing straight at the Deranged Cultist. It would be then that he would rotate, swinging his leg towards the back of the crazy lunatic that was trying to do something that didn't belong in this world.

The leader of the baddies would take the hit not expecting such a low blow of an attack and would fall to the ground in pain from the strike that was inflicted. Abbadon saw this as an opportunity and would move to the Cultist and land a blow of his own before he could recuperate.

The leader would lay on the ground as if all the energy in his body would disappear. He was puffing from the pain he felt and he would look over to the to. He would admit defeat as he was waiting to be taken away, but Abbadon wouldn't finish there. He would make his way to the leader and before Yuurei could do anything about it Abbadon would kill him in an instant. Yuurei was shocked to see this as he didn't know this Homunculus would go that far to get the job done.

He almost threw up a bit but would relax as he had to get used to a scene like that. When he felt better he would look over to Abbadon who started walking out the catacombs. Yuurei would follow him wondering where he was going. It seemed like they were just going to leave the bodies there for the priests to clean up, which he didn't like that idea either.

Yuurei would continue to follow Abbadon until they would reach Merlin's place again. There the woman was waiting for them as she welcomed them with a smile on her face. She would dismiss Abbadon, which would bring the Homunculus to go into the mansion leaving her with Yuurei.

"So tell me how his performance in battle was?" She asked Yuurei.

Yuurei would rub the back of his head as he didn't like what he did.

"He was straight to the point. He tortured people, which I didn't like, and then broke their arms when he got the answer he needed. When we found the leader, Abbadon was slow, but the damage behind him was strong. The only thing I didn't like that was he killed the man after he had lost the fight. His lack of emotion and compassion for others is a scary thing, and I don't know if you could fix that." He explained to Merlin.

Lady Merlin would start taking down notes on what Yuureiu said and when she was done she would look over to him.

"Thank you for explaining to me what happened. I will make a note of it and see what I can do about it. Still, for your trouble and having to go through everything you went through, here is a nice reward." She said to Yuurei as she handed him another bag of jewels like before.

Yuurei didn't want the money from her, but he figured he would take it anyways. He would bow slightly to Merlin as he would walk away from her and her mansion. Renji could tell his partner was not happy right now, so he figured he would cheer him up.

"Hey don't worry about it. If you don't want something like that to happen again, then just become stronger Yuu. I know you would have stopped Abbadon if you knew you could." He said to the light mage.

He would stay quiet wondering if he could have stopped the Homunculus. He kept moving as he figured they should leave this place for now.
