The sky was no longer snowing as the snow that have fallen, was melted by the heat of the sun. She felt the chill of the wind as that has never gone away. She wore a faux fur shawl that was white as snow with a tint of light ice blue. It went over her bare shoulders and went down to her ankles as it was also a cape. Her blue dress fitted against her volumptious curves and over her feet as the only thing revealing was her right full leg and the upper part of her chest. The fake fur and the cotton within the dress kept her warm. She was so use to the illumin light keeping her warm enough to handle a little cold, but now she was something else. What exactly was she? She was not even sure herself.

She spotted the place she told Kazimir to meet her once she was back. She wondered if he will arrive or will he forget? Kurisa kept on a light smile while leaning against the fence that leads downstairs and towards the boat that she could see. The man was waiting for her as he was the one that leads the boat itself. The boat was about a few meters long and a meter in width. The man used a long rod that motioned a fin in whatever direction he wanted to go as the passengers relaxed in the back. The room was filled with privacy as people can see outside, but not the inside, keeping it also warm. Plus, people were in their homes enjoying the warmth and the company of their own families as two people would be out throughout the night. Her eyes closed for a moment while resting against the fence itself, keeping her arms against her sides.

Kazimir walked toward the meeting zone. The week had been filled with a ruckus of battles alongside his lich guildmate. He was looking forward to going on this second date with Kurisa and switching gears from so much work. He pulled the edges of his scarf closer to his jaw as the night hair blew by. He had to wonder what she had in store for the two of them. He was bundled in his traditional robes as he always did, with layers of blue and white. The boat slowly came into view and a smile crossed his face as he saw her patiently waiting.

"You must be cold," he asked as he walked down the ramp towards her. One leg stood out from the blue dress as she relaxed against the fence. He was relieved he didn't get the time wrong and tucked the letter of directions away.

"Good to see you again. I hope your trip went well," he said and held her hands as he gave her a simple kiss on the cheek. The projection was nice but he much preferred having her around in person. Something about the atmosphere around her seemed different, more assured than before.

The boat looked cozy with the man slowly stirring the oar in the water, prepped and ready to go. He couldn't see within the structure, but heard no other voices. "So what do you have planned?" He asked and stepped closer to the ramp with her hands still in his, but stopped so she could lead the way.

A shy smile opened up as she felt his sweet kiss against her soft cheek. Her eyes fluttered open and gazed at his own beautiful eyes. With his hands within hers, she blushed yet stood up to lead him towards the boat. A quick look towards him as she answered, "I planned this boat ride specifically for us. It's going to take us to my favorite place that I go to dream my life away.~" She giggled happily and continued to walk down the stairs and onto the boat. The man bowed his head silently and offered his hand to balance her. She kindly accepted with her free hand as the other was in Kazimir's.

Once she was on the boat she headed towards the bamboo door that had a sheet screen as the wall itself. The designs were painted onto as there were a mountain and cranes flying. She opened the door to reveal a lounge bed on the right side and a long bench that is cushioned with silk pillows. She walked around the table that had tea and snacks all ready for them and sat down. Her eyes gazed up at Kazimir as she sat down. "I promise I don't bite.~" She teased as he was a vampire. Their left, right, and above them were see-through screens that they can clearly see, but those that are outside cannot.

After he sat down beside her, if he did, she leaned her head against his shoulder as the ride begun. "So Kazimir, tell me more about yourself. Have any hobbies? Talents perhaps?" She wondered as the boat was under a bunch of sakura trees and lights that made it all-so colorful.

He followed as she guided him to the lower deck of the boat. His eyebrow cocked as she mentioned the getaway she had planned. it was flattering, the amount of thought she put into the moment. "Your favorite spot. I'm honored," he replied, excited to see what place she held so dear. He smiled yet again at the jovialness of her giggle as she made her way to the silent man, peddling the boat.

He ran his hand through the bamboo curtain, admiring the design woven into it. A luxurious boat to say the least. The motif reminded him of the freedom of the wild he came from. Once inside, he swallowed as quietly as he could when he saw the bed and the atmosphere of the room flushed his veins with warmth. She crossed the room to a silk line of pillows garnished with a buffet of snacks.

A smirk adorned his face at her quip, "I can't say the same," he teased back and sat next to her. The snacks and tea concerned him less than the presence of the woman. She said she didn't bite but it only made his mind wander with thoughts of how she really was.

"A fascinating construction," Kaz remarked and ran his hand across the one-way pane of glass that let the delights of the outside within but kept the contents of the boat sacred. He couldn't help but think that she may not bite but she was assertive in her own way by bringing him here.

His arm slid over her shoulder as she leaned against him. With a gentle tug, he would try to pull her down beside him on the silk cushions so they could gaze up at the Sakura's togehter.

"Hmm," for some reason he had not expected such an upfront question but it was one similar to when they first met. "Hobbies...I suppose I've gotten into botany recently. And I'm a sucker for music. that's what first caused me to compliment all that time ago,"
 he laughed a bit, "But at that time I would have never expected us to be in this situation."

"What about you? Other than singing that is," he returned the question.

Her head rested on his shoulder but was soon to be resting against his side, inside his arms. She gazed fixated towards the sky as they looked upon the beauty of the Sakura trees. It was strange, this location as the trees have yet to die. It was like this place was filled with magic to make sure the beauty lives forever. Kurisa listened to him talk about botany and wondered how much did he know about flowers, herbs, and nature itself. The ride was gentle as one could not really tell they were on this boat. "Right! Forgot you told me about your parents and you picking up on it. It's a beautiful hobby, Kazimir." She breathly spoke softly while resting her hand on top of his chest and cuddled into him.

"My hobbies? Instrument playing, singing, poetry writing, cooking, baking and - " She didn't want to add that she had a drinking problem so she tried to add something else instead. "I also love to travel to different countries and places." She giggled at her list. "I always try to find something to do so my list is quite long. I do quite love science and nature as well." She gazed towards the sky as she was lost in her listing. She coughed lightly and gazed away. "S-sorry didn't mean to drag the answer." She felt anxious as she could have made the list shorter. Slowly, her body shifted so the front part of her body was against Kazimir's side. Her face hides inside his shoulder as her she was now unsure what to say next. She loved answering questions, sometimes asking them as well, but a part of her made her become quite indecisive about every action she makes. "We should be there within ten minutes." She made a shy smile and sat up as moments between their words passed by.

Sakura petals decorated the top glass of the boat as it rippled through the water. "Oh. Thank you. I'm not the best at it, but the reason I left was to finish the research that they were working on with it." He left out the part about his parent's search for some mysterious sure that led him into the encounter that made him a vampire. A story perhaps for another boat ride.  He snugged her in with his arm, her presence was more calming than he expected. Her hand planted on his chest and after a moment, he placed his own hand atop hers.

He listened with a grin the more she rambled on about her hobbies. He thought it was cute that she giggled at her own ever-growing list, "I think it's nice that you have so many. Do you have a favorite of the bunch? And traveling is one of my favorite things as well. I think I've been to most places in Fiore, just because of my time with the knights.

"It's not a problem," he replied as she turned into his shoulder. "I rather enjoy listening to you talk. Speak as much as you'd like. I'm here to get to know you better after all," he said with a small laugh at the end.

"I see. So what makes this place so special to you," he asked and sat up alongside her. Maybe this place was the reason she chose to set up shop in Hosenka, other than the area's natural beauty.

She felt comfort as she rested on the lounge bed that let them gaze at the beauty above. Her eyes were not on the sakura trees though. She gazed hypnotically towards his eyes as he started to speak and gazing at the sky himself. He looked so into it that it was cute. She wanted to move her hand to let her nimble yet strong fingers go through his hair strands to see if this was real. Her heart beats quickly like the hummingbird's wings that flap away. Kazimir's eyes were like desert bluebells or in a rather meaningful way they were like blue anemone flowers. They were a symbol of luck, inspirational blossoms that are perceived by most people as pretty, dreamy, and bringing spiritual peace of mind. To her right now she could feel that.

He questioned why this place was so special to her. The truth was it wasn't. Maybe it was a cheesy-romantic attempt to make a place so beautiful and with such a sight something special. She smiled carefully and sat up while gazing away. Her fingers were clenched on the rims of the bench as she told him her answer. "Truly, I have a few special places here. Mainly for their view and the fact that not many people visit the areas. So many people are busy working really hard to live their lives and some to take care of others, but they never get to walk, stand there and enjoy the beautiful things around them. To relax." Her lips frowned a little bit as the boat stopped. Instantly her lips smiled and stood up. Quickly, she grabbed and blind-fold. "Alright.~ Time for the trusting part.~" She giggled, "I don't want to ruin the sight-seeing and final product.~" She had something decently planned for them. Once he agreed, she blind-folded him carefully and entwined her fingers with his on her right hand, and lead it off the boat.

She was gentle in his arms. Instead of looking at the sakura flowers, he closed his eyes to just enjoy the moment. It was like he drifted away in a stream of solace for a moment. A smile crept onto his face as he felt her heart begin to beat faster. When she sat up, it took his attention back to her, catching a glimpse of her two-tone eyes before she looked away.

Sorrow slithered in around her as she spoke. Kazimir sat up beside her and placed a hand on her clenched grip of the bench. "I'm sure you'll help the people of Hosenka learn to relax a little more." The boat slowed until it was at a standstill, bobbing in the water. Kurisa bopped up with a blindfold in her hand, "Oh" he replied with a raised brow, and his mouth ajar.

He quickly turned it into a sideways smile," I see. A woman who likes surprises then. Alright," he nodded and closed his eyes for her to put the blindfold on. His senses howled to cast a spell to feel the air around him, but he wanted to trust her and was sure that he could.

"Lead the way. I can't wait to see what sort of view has caught your eye," he stood up with her hand guiding him. He shuffled slowly forward. His free hand reaching out to the walls and whatever handholds his fingers could graze, just trying to keep his balance secure.

The bob and sway of the boat ceased as his foot landed on solid ground. Stubbing his foot on the edge of the platform, he stumbled forward, into Kurisa's side, "Sorry," he laughed and resituated himself.  He tapped his foot on the ground to get his bearings, but not long as to keep up with whatever pace Kurisa kept them at.

His fingers gave hers a gentle squeeze, as he got ready to embark on the quick journey without sight, but there was a tingle of excitement about it running up and down his spine. "You said not many people visit here. Is it hard to get to?"

She escorted him carefully up the path as she kept him against her side. Everything was going well till he seemed to become off-balanced, leaning into her for some support. "I do not mind at all.~" She softly spoke and continued on. The path was cobblestone with the sides lit up by small wooden lanterns. They say that the spirits that roamed here kept the place lit in case there were people that wanted to roam through the beauty. She had everything prepared from top to bottom as they finally got to the top. "Alright, we're at the bridge.~" She unfolded his eyes and gave him a soft smile.

The view was realistically beautiful. You could see the mountains from where they stood as well as the whole City of Hosenka. She held onto his hand still and lead him up the bridge to where on the other side there was a large blanket spread against the ground. In the middle was a basket filled with food, a bottle of alcohol, and some lit candles. Over them were large wisteria trees that were about a hundred years old. One was purple and the other was blue as they shined from the moonlight. Surrounding the area was a pond filled with fish and nature that perfectly fitted the scene.  Kurisa nervously let go of his hand and turned away, holding herself. "I hope this is okay... I've..." She gulped and gazed off. "I've never really set anything up like this before nor has anyone really set any romance stuff for me. So wasn't sure how." There she goes again, rambling nervously.

"Thanks," He answered back, also not minding the extra closeness. He stayed by her side, enjoying the extra warmth against his cold body. He felt the ground change as they started stepping on cobblestone. The blindfold lightened as the light of the lanterns poured through it, but not nearly enough to see anything.

He stopped alongside her. His free hand grazed the wooden rail as she noted they were at a bridge. Her fingers brushed against his face to remove the blindfold, revealing her soft smile. He grinned back and was about to approach her when the view took his attention. "It's amazing. I understand why you're sad that people don't come to look at this more."

"There's more," he asked as she led him further up the bridge. "You've really outdone yourself," he said with excitement, seeing the beautiful arrangement she had put together. She really did go the extra mile with this one.

A fish splashed in the pond nearby and Kaz felt Kurisa's hand slip away as she turned her back to him. "You would never know this was your first time. It's perfect," he said sliding his hands around her waist and hugging her close to him from behind. He placed a tender kiss on her shoulder. "I don't know if I'd be able to plan anything as good as this. You set the bar pretty high," he joked and swept her long hair to the side so he could see the delicate features of her face.

"It'll be a great night," Kazimir said and rose one hand. A white magical circle surrounded them and a gust of wind sprang from his palm. It blew through the wisteria trees, feeling the air around them with purple and blue cascades.

He was excited. That was good, but it made her more nervous as she couldn't tell if it was genuine or fake. She hasn't really studied emotions as much as she studied the body of living beings. his expressions were so delightful to hear as it made her heart flutter freely, but not quite yet ready to let it out. She remembered Judith's words when she asked her for advice when she questioned her which made her feel less uptight around him enough to act natural. As she was in loss of thought Kuri felt arms wrapping around her from behind. Maybe it was the connection they unknowingly had or it was the fact that she rarely has human contact when it came to affections, but it made her face flush pink. Her lips opened small to breathe slowly yet deeply. "Don't say that, Kazimir. There are certain simple things that could be done to out-do me.~" she giggled while talking lightly, as she knew it was a joke, but just in case she wanted to let him know.

"I feel like it depends on the person. So to you, it may not seem like you have out-done me, but to me you have. I'm excited to see what you think of." She shyly smiled as she felt a kiss on her shoulder, giggling once more. She listened to the sudden change of wind as her eyes caught the wisteria trees shiver flowers off to swirl into the air. "I will say that the wisteria trees are quite underrated yet so beautiful. Almost more than a sakura tree. Fun fact though... don't bring your pets here as they're quite poisonous." She spoke so elegantly and chuckled as her face turned enough to see Kazimir gazing at her. Giving a shy smile she faced away but gazed his way again without moving her face this time.

Her brown-golden and blue eyes went back to gazing at the beauty with him as the trees motions, the fish jumps, and the fireflies roam around. This paradise was a place not even winter could destroy with its frost. "You know...I could stand gaze at this all night with you, but my legs are starting to hurt.~" She confidently turned around while in his arms to meet him now face to face inches away. Her gaze went away as she was now not so confident, but now shy. Even a woman with power was no match for this feeling. It made her feel weak, but was that such a bad thing or good? She hoped she was not boring him at all though. Just being here in this silent beautiful night with her.

Her soft exhale sent a tickle through his heart as he held her, wanting to feel that same breath against his skin. The small giggles she let out was enough reassurance about how she was feeling. He brushed his hand up and down her slender arms as she spoke. "I guess we make a good fit for one another then. It's nice to hear I'm still keeping up. But If this is how your mind works, maybe I'll leave the romantic getaway planning to you," he added just so she would know that despite what she claimed as inexperience in these moments, it was just a stunning as she was.

"hm," he muttered as she spoke and gave the fun fact. "I'll be sure to keep my griffon away then," he chuckled. "Do you have any pets of your own?" He asked but the words seemed to slip away from him as she gazed back. There was a simple peace in her presence and a strange trust that he wasn't sure where it came from but he didn't fear it.

He moved his face back as she spun in his arms to face him. Their bodies still close together he could feel her heart beating against his chest. He didn't hide the small twitch of his lips that fought back a smirk at the mention of her legs hurting. One of the most powerful mages in the land and he was to believe that but knew it was probably just a small rouse to get them to the picnic at last.

Her confident gaze turned to a shy avoidance. He followed her eyesight to the picnic that was waiting for them but, instead he cupped her cheek and turned her face back to him if she would let him. "You don't have to feel so shy around me Kuri," He ran his hand from her cheek through her hair to the back of her neck. Her two-colored eyes reflected the wisteria leaves still floating around them. With a gentle tug, he closed the few inches between them. "I already like you," he whispered and pressed his lips to hers. After turning into a vampire the legends told of pleasure coming from drinking blood, and that all others would pale in comparison. But perhaps some legends were embellished, as he held her hip with a deeper kiss before parting.

"Shall we," He nodded toward the blanket and held her hand as he made his way over. He laid down on the blanket, propping himself up. "You mentioned you liked cooking and baking. Is this your creation?" he asked as he pulled out two glasses to pour them some wine. His mind bounced around dozens of questions to ask her but what would be the right one. he worried which question would change the mood too much or which would be silly.

Before fully turning she heard him ask if she had any pets at all. She gave a gentle smile while finally turning to answer him face to face. "I do, but he enjoys the skies more than the solid ground. Large bodies of water are more his forte." She laughed softly and then her eyes opened up more as she felt his hands against her arms. It felt like a gentle caress as he soon cupped her cheek. Vampires are rumored to feel cold during touch, but why did she only feel the warmth from him? With his touch, she only felt like it was just two of them in this world. Enough to even calm her inner-self that she feared so much.

His eyes were only hers right now as she soon felt his hand go to the back of her neck. She wondered if perhaps he was thirsty since she offered him an 'anytime' deal. His face came closer. Her heart raced faster as she panicked, but couldn't move as she was frozen into place. The words he spoke made her smile nonetheless, "I-I l-." She was about to say, but her eyes slowly closed while her lips went against his.

Her eyes closed fully and wrapped her arms around his neck while his against her hips. Her heart was exploding from the daring passionate kiss as her heart tugged towards him. Sadly enough, her eyes fluttered open as she gazed up at him. The kiss was over so soon. She gulped and gave a smile, parting her hair behind her ear. "Yes, let's go." She walked with him down the wooden bridge over the water and towards the picnic. Slowly, she sat down gently while watching him pour some wine. "It is. I'm so used to -" she stopped as she wondered, negatively thought if the children were going to be a problem. Shaking her head she gave an assuring smile, "I'm used to cooking and baking for myself and the children that I could probably make anything.~" She giggled sweetly and tilted her head, gazing at him. "Kazimir, you can ask me anything you know." She unexpectedly spoke up.

"Might as well know more about each other if we're going on dates.~". She was pretty open to those she wanted more from; emotionally, mentally, and even physically. Most people believed there were only three keys to a person, but no. There was spiritually as well. Something about him made her want to trust him even if she was scared about scaring him away somehow.

"An interesting sounding pet," one that preferred the skies and the water. He couldn't for the life of him figure out what it could be. Then again these were strange lands sometimes. The question melted away as passion swept them up. She leaned back into him for the kiss. Some faint words she began to say flittered away into the night air. Her arms snaked around his neck and he smiled during the kiss at her warm touch. It took restraint to pull away from the moment, and it was only possible as he hoped it wouldn't be their last embrace.

He began to listen and looked handed her a glass as she abruptly paused. She spoke about her children once more. A topic that only came up briefly and slipped away. It was a sweet thought, enjoying the food that she would prepare and having nice meals together. He only wished that he could keep it down as his stomach turned in knots from any food now.

"How long has it been since you've cooked for them? I wouldn't want them to think I'm getting a better deal now," he asked with a bit of humor, remembering that she mentioned they were all doing things with their lives and assumed they were all grown now. It was a question of plain curiosity.

"Oh...thank you. I suppose that is the purpose of a date after all. And the same goes for you," he scratched the back of his head and sat back, setting his wine glass to the side. "There are a lot of questions I have for you. it's hard to pick where to start," he chuckled.

"But what I'd really like to know is," He rolled over to face her. gazing into the soft invitation of her eyes. "Where are you going? From here. What path have you decided to follow?" It may have been a deeper question than anticipated, but he couldn't think of a better one to get to know someone. They already talk about most of their failed love life.

She enjoyed listening to him talk in general. She kept staring into his eyes as she could get lost into them as if she could get lost riding among the ocean. Her mind was getting lost as all she could think about was the kiss he laid upon her lips. It made her feel excited it was like adrenaline to her soul. Was this the feeling she has been waiting for? For all these centuries? It was like a tidal Wave activating inside of her. She was about to get flooded by feelings. After his question about her children, it gave her a few mixed feelings. She grabbed the stem of her drink and wondered constantly while looking into his eyes. She wondered if perhaps if he was sure on how he felt. She felt anxious and insecure a little bit. She had children and -, "Not all my children are grown, Kazimir. I have two that will be turning eight years old soon. But the last time I cooked for them - the older ones were about a month or two ago?" She smiled at the thought of them as well.

She took another sip of her wine. His next question made her really think for a moment? What was her path right now now that she found Love? She was scared of losing it so if she did lose it she would be back to square one. But she didn't want to bring any of that up. She gave a light smile a smile that signaled that she was unsure, but at the same time, it was good as any. "Well, there's really no point of me going anywhere but here. In terms of goals? I suppose I will find a way to go towards immortality like I've always wanted and now I have an actual reason. Other than that... I will grasp onto whatever comes my way or let it fly away." she said as she looked at him more deeply. "My path will always be an unknown one. One simple thing can change someone's path." she grabbed a small petal that came from the tree and gazed as it was against her Palm. "This for example; a simple petal that fell from the tree could change so many waves within one's path." She blew the pink petal away as it flew in the wind. "Some may think that statement is dramatic, but small things can cause huger situations." She took a drink of the wine he poured and gazed back at him. "What about your path? What will you do?" She giggled after her silliness that most likely gave him bored. It was alright though. She liked her poetry and little quirks about life.

She laid attentive to what he said, calm and patient as lost in the moment as he was. He rose an interested eyebrow when she made it known that she still had young children under her care. He laid back with his hands beneath his head and looked up at the sky with a smile on his face. "I suppose you can never know when a good time to bring up children on a date is to someone," he laughed a little.

"Kids can be a handful. The clan I'm from takes in orphans and since I'm the leader now I've had to fumble my way around looking out for them," He closed his eyes and shook his head, "Although I'm sure I'm not as good a cook as you." He brought his attention back to her.

The uncertainty in her smile to the next question was familiar. He often looked that way himself. He didn't intend on sticking around Fiore, but now he had more of a reason too. He rolled onto his side to see her better. Immortality? he thought to himself. A powerful thing to hunt for. It was sweet to hear she had more of a reason to obtain it now. But it only led to more questions as she mentioned having wanted it for a while. He watched the path of the petal and felt the vibration her breath sent through the wind.

"Immortality...I suppose it is helpful," he replied thinking about himself. There were many paths to it, but he didn't want to bring up the obvious one. "I don't think it's dramatic. The wind carries things at its own pace and its own direction. I didn't plan on sticking around Fiore this long...but here I am. You've accomplished so much already. Sometimes there isn't much left but to tie a ribbon around things."

"Me," he hummed and sat back up, and looked toward the east. "Something simple. Rebuild my clan. For a long time, I've had a duty that's been tangled up in the needs and agendas of others. But now...I finally feel free. Doing things just because I want to. that's also why I gave up my grace," he spoke softly and looked into her eyes. He scooted the basket of food to the side and moved closer to Kurisa.

"But all that is grandeur for another day," he leaned in close to her and put his hand at her side. "Right now...I'd rather get lost beneath the wisteria trees," he moved closer and kissed her once more, laying her down on the blanket if she let him, only pulling away from the kiss long enough to tease before kissing her deeper than the first.

She couldn't tell if he was serious or was actually making a joke, even after the laughter. Her eyes gazed away and blinked a bit as she anxiously thought about it. That was till he brought up his own story, about orphans and it was warming to listen to. She gave a light smile and crumbled a little part of the blanket with her right hand as her heart was thumping. She enjoyed listening to him talk about how he was looking out for children with no homes, no families, creating a family of his own in a way just like herself. She listened to him talk as she questioned herself in rather or not to talk about her idea.

Her eyes strike towards him shyly as she saw him coming closer. Her breathing became heavy yet quiet as she wondered what the next move was. All that was answered by a kiss and a feeling of her being leaned back into the blanket; as a flower petal from a tree falls against the ground lightly. Her eyes gazed into his, her face becomes instantly pink as she gulped nervously. She was scared to go further than what was. As this was something she desired for now. Her arms wrapped around his neck as their warm lips meet. In a trance, her fingers played with his hair as in the moment she could think of nothing more nor less than being here. As they depart for air and gave a light smile. "I think this is one of the most beautiful views.~" She teased while gazing up at him. From her view, there were the two trees, the moon, and stars with him in the middle in this perfect motion. She cutely rubbed her nose against his as she gave him another kiss.

"So, I must ask... Where are you staying while you're here?" She spoke quietly as he was literally in front of her a few inches away. She was just curious since there was a possibility that he could stay at her place in a mutual-genuine way. Surely it could turn into something more, but she was just hoping to keep him close as well.

When she crumbled the blanket in her hand, he couldn't help but wonder what thoughts were running through her mind. Was what he said a lot to take in? Taking care of orphans in a strange clan wasn't the most normal thing to tell someone.

He smiled at the pink flush that filled her cheeks. Assurance that what they were doing was right. It only made him more attracted to the woman. A shiver went down his spine as her arms wrapped around his neck. It was so gentle and alluring all the same. The wind mage could have melted away in her embrace.

"For me too," he teased back in honesty at her compliment. Her hair bundled up around the blanket, framing the enchanting features of her face. It was just her in his vision and he wouldn't change that. His eyes closed as their noses touched with a tickle. Her soft skin nudged the sides of his nose. A grin crept on his face before leaning in for the next kiss.

He pulled away for air and was met with a question that arose many more. "Right now I'm staying in a room in a small hotel. Why do you ask," he asked back already having an idea of what the reasoning may have been. His fingers glid across the soft curves of her neck as he listened to her talk. Not because he was thinking about drinking her blood, just that he wanted to be sweet and feel the warmth of her body next to his.

Kuri gave a shy smile and leaned up to whisper into his ear, "Stay with me," she leaned back, giggling. In her mind, she hoped it wasn't too soon. It wasn't like they were sleeping together, but she wanted to keep him close to her. She wasn't quite ready for any sexual interactions yet till at least he feels a deeper feeling for her than where it's at - or where she believes it's at. Her neck tilted away from where his fingers were gliding against so he could do it more. It was ticklish for sure, but it felt so relaxing at the same time.

"Is it weird that I feel so attached, but we haven't known each other for long?" She said and then chuckled, looking away. It was a silly thing to say. Perhaps it was even stupid. Her heart felt like they were past-life lovers, but her mind told her 'no', 'it was stupid', and she shouldn't think of such things. "Anyways, I have a house here if you'd like to reside here when you visit Hosenka." She gulped and slid her arms off of, playing with her hair instead. She was happy he thought she was beautiful, beauty was almost everything to her as Beauty and Strength gets you pretty far in this world.

Her sweet words sang in his ears. The thought of staying by her side for longer left him elated. Her voice was like a siren song drifting in the midnight hour beneath a star-filled sky. She showed more of her neck as he gently ran his finger up, and then placed a kiss on the soft contours and then another. "I'd love to," he whispered back as he kissed up to her ear.

She spoke out about a worry resting within the confines of her mind about the passion that had grown between them. Both had come from tough love lives that left a lasting impression. multiple painters took their turns stroking brushes against the canvas of their hearts, scattering the final image. Her alluring chuckle took her gaze away from him.

"Weird?" he questioned and rested his head on his hand, looking at her hair cascade over the picnic blanket. "Only if you think I'm weird too?" He wasn't sure what was happening between them, or what she was looking for. What he did know is he felt something for her that pulled him closer to her the more time they spent together.

She pulled her arms away and Kaz sat up beside her. "I felt it when we first reunited. When you gave yourself to me. Something was different about you," he thought about the first time she offered her neck to him.

"We still have a lot to learn about each other. But I look forward to all the little conversations. And staying with you while I'm here. I have to warn you though...people have a tendency of dropping in on me," He ran his hand atop hers and said the last part with a laugh. But it was true, people did seem to have a way of finding him and luring him to work.

"Does that mean, I'll meet your children," he asked, wondering if that was the other reason she asked if he wanted to stay with her.

Everything felt so nice, from the skin touch from his fingers to her neck and the little kisses of his. "I'm glad I am not weird to you then," she spoke quietly and snuggled up to him. 'Yet,' she heard from a distance. A quiet ghostly voice she can only hear. For now, she wished to ignore it as he then asked an important question. She gave him a sly smile and booped his nose cutely, "Of course. They'll be here in a few days since they were traveling with their aunt,".

"So it'll just be us for a little bit," She answered fully. She leaned over forward to grab some chocolate-coconut balls that were filled with fudge inside. She absolutely loved food, but the chocolate was just a simple pleasure for herself. "So... do you not enjoy food or regular drinks anymore then, Kazimir," she questioned as she tilted her neck perfectly to gaze at him. Her hair shimmered as it shined a brownish-blonde color at the moment. Her golden-brown and blue eyes gazed into his flowery blooming ones as they were so beautiful. "My children will probably ask you a hundred questions as well, but don't worry. They don't fear much." She gave a wary smile and looked down while gazing at the food. She felt unsure on eating since he couldn't even enjoy it, or so it felt like. She was never a vampire so she has no idea. Perhaps... this will be good for her book.

He returned the snuggle that drew them closer. "I see. Well then I look forward to meeting them," he said again to try and ease her mind about telling him of her children/ Although he wasn't sure how well he would do around them. it was true he took care of some rogue orphans in his clan's village that but that was more of a caretaker's role and training them for inevitable combat.

The coconut ball slid from the basket, answering the question as to what she liked. "I'll try to do my best around them," he replied and then looked over the food in the basket. "What is your favorite food? I can eat if I choose to but I would...expel it later," he tried to soften the phrase and rubbed his shoulder to soothe the awkwardness of it.

"I get all the nourishment I need from blood, but can consume magical blood or animal blood. I usually just carry some magical blood packs with me these days. It's one of the things i miss about being human." He paused a moment for her to reply and the topic shifted back to her children but something else was on his mind while she spoke. "I'll be sure to brainstorm some answers then," he laughed about it. He was the one used to interrogating people after all.

Now was as good a time as any for his next question since she asked about his vampiric eating habits. "I've been meaning to ask. It seems we both lost our Nephilim status. What happened with yours?" He would ask and place his arm around her shoulders.

She giggled, "I'm sure you will do just great, Kazimir," replying with a happy smile. Her hand went to his shyly as their skin felt each other. Her children weren't used to a male being around them, but surely they will adjust just like they've had to a few times with life. They were taught by her that life isn't always fair and sometimes you had to adjust to change when it happened. She was excited to see them as it has been a few months since then. The travel to Joya was dangerous, the time she had with people wasn't that safe either. Now that she had a guild all put together and a home, she wanted them to stay there.

The more Kazimir and Kuri stay together, the more she wants him to live with her, be with her and someday more. For now, she wanted to enjoy this. A peaceful moment between the two. The subject of them will come up another time, it'll be paused. "Favorite foods?" she wondered and gazed away to think for a few moments. "Mmm..." She hummed as she wasn't really sure. She loved food, but it was hard to think of a 'favorite'. Her eyes went back to his, "I really don't have a favorite. I may not look at fully it, but I love a lot of food.~" She giggled. She's fat. What was she talking about? She was no supermodel, but at least she wasn't too 'big', for a mother... right? She felt a little subconscious now, but she tried to not let it ruin the mood.

Thankfully, the subject switched as her Nephilim was questioned. "Apparently after all I went through. I wasn't good enough for them, but it could just be because they were scared weirdly enough." She half spoke and then Ana took over for half of her speech. The answer could've been both in some questionable way. "Literally, woke up as whatever I am now. Can't really say what I was before Nephilim." She spoke honestly. Revana was unknown as to when; Kuri, Ana, and Arisa took over, she was already a Nephilim.

She pondered what her favorite food was. It seemed she had tried too many to be able to decided between them. She affirmed her love of food and Kaz chuckled, "I suppose with as much traveling as you have done, it's natural to have tried too many kinds to pick between them," her answer only made him more interested in how and what she chose for the picnic though.

Her answer pained him a little to hear. For it to be striped away in the dead of night during her slumber and for her to feel that they thought she was unworthy. Something in her words sounded like she was resentful for the strife she was put through only to feel like she fell short. Kaz had no love for the Seraphim and their ways of dealing with mankind and it was yet another example.

"Sorry that happened to you. The Seraphim are not what I would call entirely benevolent beings," he shook his head and pulled her closer, with a bit of surprise as the subtle shift in her voice settled in. He didn't think anything of it yet. Thinking it was just a passing thing.

"Perhaps they are scared. After all they were driven out of earthland by the hands of mortals. maybe the realization that they are not all powerful was settling in to much." Something that was a hope of his anyway. One day he would find the Seraphim that turned him and return the battle scar.

"Whatever you are now," he questioned as she seemed human. "You're not sure what you were before nephilim? Did getting turned into a Nephilim cause you to forget the life you had before?" A question from a man who didn't know the intricate story that led Kurisa to the person/persons she was now.

She bit her lower lip as he was talking about Seraphim. She was one of those once, but then downgraded into a Nephilim and now nothing in comparison. Through this whole thing, she enjoyed being close to him. She leaned her head against him and closed her eyes, breathing in the fresh flowery air mixed with the pond smell. Her heartbeats were calm as she no longer felt nervous at the moment. "You know, Kazimir." She softly spoke. "I was once a Seraphim," she smiles and chuckled. "They decided to make me into a Nephilim, but before all that, I have no idea what I was." She realized she was talking about her last lifetime as just Arisa, as herself before she was killed.

That subject was not for today. "Seraphims are... not quite what most think they are. Religious people believe they're beautiful pure beings, but truly - well mine was... they were quite twisted you could say." She sighs as she remembered the scene, the day 'it' happened. Her eyes gazed upward to him and his beautiful feats.. "I suppose you can say it did make me forget.". That wasn't the full truth though as after taking over Revana's life, body and even destroyed her soul... everything about Revana became a blank. So far out of all Kuri's and Ana's takeovers, only Arisa has survived. "So, I don't quite remember if you told me, but what made you decide to become a vampire?". Her hand slid against his covered chest and snuggled against his body.
