LeeAnn took another job like they had both agreed on the day before. This time it did not involve a hosptial at least from what she had noticed or at least hope for. Lee made her way to the river like it had said in the request to meet with their client. Spirits and rivers seemed to mix well like fish and chips. Though, water and LeeAnn mixed much like oil and water. Not very well. She followed the old beaten path that they had taken before to find their client for the other job the day before and where she met that other spirt named...Kindred she thought or something like that. Perhaps this 'spirit' was that Kindred thing after all.

She saw her client standing there waiting for her and Kon to meet up with them. Although, he seemed tough and without any effort looked to be uneasy. More terrified and scared of something. She knew it definitely was not water other wise that would be her job to. The client introduced himself to Leeann as she shook his hand polietly like a good hireman or whatever the term was. She nodded as he explain everything. Though, she had to put the distress man on pause to wait for her cousin.

Kon

Kon had been finding even less solace in his sleep as of late, having acquired another tortured soul that was tearing into his own psyche occasionally, he would have to block them out just to remain completely focused on his task, fortunately he would be helped by his cousin, LeeAnn for some time as they had agreed to work together with numerous requests whilst they remained in Orchidia and eventually return to Crocus and Era town. Just as he had many times before he had finally left the building he was staying at with his companion and met up with his cousin and their client, who informed the two of them regarding a humanoid spirit similar to the one they had encountered. The sun was starting to set and the sky darkens, as they started their walk towards their destination to where the sighting had occurred.

Eventually, as they reached the location the spirit indeed beginning to appear, it was diminutive in stature and glowed cyan. It faintly reminded him of Kuriana causing a bitter taste in his mouth to assault his tongue. Interestingly it was started to call to him and presumably LeeAnn though their client seemed up affected though Kon persuaded him to come with them. As the spirit was telepathic in nature he simply thought the words in his head. "Greetings Spirit of the River, I am Kon, what has caused you appearance to the rest of society?"

LeeAnn was glad that her cousin, Konstantin, finally showed on and on time. They could finally get started on their mission. One done and over with so she could move on with her day. She was just checking ones off her list to do and get some more money for the wedding coming up since she told her father strictly that she was paying for it. LeeAnn, Kon and their client starting making their way in the direction where the spirit was last seen by Dacol. LeeAnn was touchy on the subject of spirits since it was more of a religious thing. She was not one to believe in that crap. Although, she was marrying a celestial plane walking chaotic loving spirit. She only stayed quiet for the time for the time remaining. They came upon a humanoid looking thing. It was glowing a cyan color.

It was oddly strange to her since she never seen anything like this before. Even the random things her fiancé would pull out of his hat, this has amazed her by far. It was a small child. Drawing all of them nearer to the small spirit. It reminded her of herself as a little girl. Somehow it made her uneasy thinking about why she was here or who she was. Getting an odd feeling LeeAnn had to turn away then hearing voices call out of her. It was something of a small child once again. The redhead stayed silent letting Kon speak.

Having reached the spirit far more of it's thoughts and feelings came into light with it wishing to inform the duo of it's past along as well as it's death. The spirit revealed himself to be the remaining portions of a worldly renowned nature mage. He was in fact not a spirit of the river merely was using the river along with the wildlife in the area to sustain himself, what for he didn't know, instead he felt it was merely a way to remain living on this plane of existence, fearing what would meet him on the other side. Upon questioning the spirit regarding his concern he revealed that he was a spirit mage capable of bending the will of spirits that occupied the forests in Earthland just had Kon had the abilities to do the same thing with the ones he had acquired during his journey as a rune knight.

The man's played a cautionary tell for him as he informed the duo that his death was a result of him overextending his capabilities and manipulate all the spirits he could at once resulting in his mana being completely drained save for a small portion that he used to transfer is conciousness into his current form. He had done this for a variety of reasons both because he had to and because he wanted to test his capabilities. He had to due to a raid from a cult on his home forced himself to cast everything to protect himself and his home.

Dacol absent in the conversation spoke out to the two rune knights indirectly. “Uhh out all of us can speak to spirits telepathically, would you mind repeating everything you guys were talking about?” After briefly asking the spirit for his permission, he summarise the story of the spirit and how he was actually a person rather than a true spirit of the river. He refrained from informing him of the comment the spirit made towards Kon solely regarding his own magic. “User of the Dark arts, careful not to fall to the lust of power nor the suffering of the many souls you have obtained, bearing the burdens of not only you're own issues but also others is unhealthy and could led to your demise whether at your own hand or someone elses.

His statement regarding Kon's magic hit home with him having been conflicted whilst using it ever sinice obtaining his last soul whom he doubted he could cast without a variety of emotions flooding him in particular self-disgust and regret. Knowing the past was the past and nothing could be changed he thanked the spirit for his wisdom, until the spirit form gave him one more piece of advice that he knew he'd had to follow to remain himself. “And for the love of Illumin, close off your connect of your soul and the rest you have contained inside you one misstep and you'll lose yourself.”

Besides the history and comments he made to Kon and perhaps LeeAnn with the former unknown to him as he was isolating his communication between the two, he also informed them regarding an incoming threat which had been chasing after a family member of his ever since his death along with him swearing to see them again one day.

LeeAnn stayed quiet with as he spirit came into view. The redhead looked awa feeling awkward being around these types of things. It made her think of her mother and the negative possibility she could be dead. Her ears folded backwards as her heart strings pulled backwards, sideways, forwards, and ever ther possbile way. She looked at her cousin who seemed in some sort of trance just by looking at all the things that were happening. The Nakamura just stood there hearing this child speak to her telepathically somehow just communicating to her. Magic was a weird thing, indeed. She wondered if anyone else was hearing this or she was probably mentally snapping again. Either way, it made her worry.

"Is anyone else hearing that or is it just me" she whispered. Though she didn't want to piss off the spirit so Dacol also said something as a story was repeated. It was a story that she really wished that she never heard of because of reminding of herself. She just could not look at this poor child. The suffering and hurt she could feel from this poor thing. Though what hit even more was Dacol's comment to Kon. Her ears went alert to looking at the whole situation. She looked at her cousin hearing this warning. Though, LeeAnn did not seek to hear anything out of place. The spirit isolated the two of them personally telling her and Kon some brief history and asking them two question. To protect. LeeAnn knew deep down she needed to do this. Her eyes opened up and looek at the cyan figure. "If it will put you at rest, you have my promise. A full heart promise" she said.

Suddenly without warning the spirit seemed to be falling through the ground, trying to crawl back up in futility, it was being taken away from the trio by what he nor did he suspect the others know. Strangely as the Spirit disappeared, Kon began to grow slightly weaker forcing him to take a knee along with his blitzle. As he shook himself to readjust to the sudden loss of the spirits echoing voice, he rose once more revealing a painful headache resonating from the back of his head. Confused about what had just happened Dacol spoke to the two of them with concern, "What's going on?, Where did the spirit go?" Equally perplexed about the spirits sudden disappearance Kon spoke out. "I don't know to be honest Dacol it was talking to us perfectly fine then *poof* hmm..." Scratching his chin Dacol spoke once more. "If the entity appears again, inform the inspector for me, in the meantime here's your reward."

LeeAnn was not going to take this next mission ever so lightly. For some reason, she could not shake off this determination. Was this for her mother or how much she could relate able she felt towards this spirit? She could not place her finger on it just yet. LeeAnn just watched the spirit vanish as so did her thoughts. They all swept away like a ocean tide washing away her mind clear. Her long scarlet red hair blewing as the small bits of mana flew away like small blue fireflies of light. They floated around her making her look out into the water. The client was starting to ask where the spirit went. LeeAnn just heard him chatter. "It went to go sleep, rest in peace little one. I will protect you" she said. The client gave them their reward as she just nodded at her cousin marching foward towards back to her home.
