Kon

Patrolling the streets of towns had never been Kon's favourite thing to do in fact he suspected it wasn't anyone's, however, today he'd be in a spot of luck to avoid the sheer boredom of things. He would be completing his task with his superior and cousin, LeeAnn, their relationship between each other was odd at best though it was something that he felt the two of them enjoyed.

With the numerous rune knights in the town already, they had decided to explore the other portions of the town together, in particular, the Orchidia River. Kon had arrived there along with his companion just half an hour prior to their agreed meet up time. This would allow him to scout out the area to their benefit with the use of his companion.

Fortunately, nothing was found bar a bushy haired individual with a 100 mile stare as he approached him, it was something he could recognise well from prior experience with victims of a trauma incident. Speaking to the man he got him to sit down on an overturned log and began to comfort him as he blabbered on about a blue hovering ball.

The redhead knew her cousin was at odds with her and she felt like that with him too. They were an odd bunch but guess if the shoe fits. He was something of a friend she could only think of. She would meet her cousin by the river, she made sure to stand at least a little bit away from it to make sure she would not get wet. Water was her new utter fear other than hospitals.

There she saw her cousin and met him with greetings and many good things. Though, there was still a pain inside of her chest not wanting to really see him due to the way him and Hans were acting. There was something off about him lately. Though, it was probably her. They met their client named Dex. A rare name she she could recall. He said he seen this blue orb of light as if it was some sort of spirit or something. He needed a few people to go with him and check it out. It peeked her interest. This reminded her of a mother talking about such things and the world around them. Her ears peeked. "Very well, lead us there and we will come with you" she said.

Eventually, his cousin arrived at the scene with the two briefly providing civil greetings to each other, their bond seemed to have weaned when they last saw each other. "No matter we're here to do a job not make small talk." She too eventually spoke to the man requesting for him to take us to the location of the ball. Reluctantly agreeing to her demand, he rose from the log and began to walk towards the river. As they drew closer to the river a glowing blue light came to light, it seemed to be the ball that the man mentioned earlier. Going ever closer along with his companion and presumably Lee, he felt this sudden and powerful urge to touch it, obviously it was magical-driven as such he could do naught to stop himself.

Moving ever closer, he eventually had to wade through the swallow water to it, reaching out to it along with Dex and presumably LeeAnn and upon touching it, thoughts and feels of a distant time assaulted his mind, just as it had been assaulted just days prior. Before he could say anything to the others, he was thrown backwards into the water causing it to soak all of his clothes and send water flying across the air.

LeeAnn followed the others seeing as her cousin felt uneasy growing next to her. This was nothing new for her since she had been through hell and back multiple times. Dex seemed to lead them to a ball of light. His pet and himself seemed to be tense and aware. LeeAnn remained calm and a bit more relaxed since she had a small cigarette before coming.

A small habit she was forming much like her father. Though, they neared a blue orb of light. It seemed to draw her nearer to it. It lied along the river making her circle it away from the water. She looked over and her cousin then the client all seem in the same state. The orb drew her near wanting to touch it. The redhead slowly moved towards it. Upon touching it, she had flashes of memories of her past. Her parent and big brother, Hikaru, standing there tell her to come on then flashed to learning fire magic with her father. The next one was her seeing her mother knocked out by the people who taken them both away then flashes of torture, him, and the tools. The last one was of her fiance. That one day that had changed her life for the better. She could recall some of those were real but garunteed they were

LeeAnn flew backwards presuming that they were both thrown back as well as Dex. Kon fell into the river making her leap back and flee a few meters from the water as it went everywhere. As for their client, he was well knocked out. Both, Konstantin and herself, only had minor cuts and bruises. The pain was just irritating to her, but nothing she couldn't walk away from.

Regaining his focus, he rose from the slight icy water from winter and swore under his breathe as he tried to shake himself off. Looking around he could see LeeAnn on the land near the water along with their client who seemed to have the past out from the blast, whilst LeeAnn and Kon were mages thus capable of taking far more injuries Dex was not, concerned for his well-being Kon left the water as rushed to his aid, picking up his staff which had flung out of his hands as he was thrown back. The light from the ball dimmed before finally disappearing where it went he didn't know for now though his concern was to get him to a hospital where they could treat his injuries, fortunately with the aid of his companion he would be able to take Dex back by lifting him onto the Blitzle and guiding it back to the town, where one of the citizens would be able to inform the two of them on the location of the town's hospital or doctor.

Having tied the man to his companion to make sure he didn't slip off, he led Sparky back carefully avoiding any bumps that might cause the man any extra harm. Eventually they came to the outskirts of the town where they would encounter a couple who were on a date. Whilst not wanting to make things akward but knowing the situation was urgent he spoke to the two of them regarding the location of the nearest medically facility with them simply pointing in a vague direction and one of them saying. "Just follow the path." Walking through the path they eventually made it to the entrance of the hospital.

LeeAnn heard the word hospital and paused blinking. Shaking a little, heard those words were like a stab in the heart for her. The fear was shown clearly in her eye thinking of the trauma that she went through after those memories. Hesitating she backed away slowly as she almost touched the water. Instantly she fled away from it following her cousin. Once they gotten to the hosptial she pulled her cousin aside with her ears folded back.

Her heart started racing a thousands times against her chest. The girl backed away slowly having sweaty palms and trembling. She was biting her toungue to prevent from screaming bloody murder. She stay quiet and trying very hard to keep herself stable and able to think. Although, she would refused to become a victim of their horrible crimes again. Kon would probably wonder what was wrong with LeeAnn. "I...I am staying out here. To guard! You take him to the hosptial and tell him my best regards" she said slightly trembling but making it slightly not so noticeable.

Heading towards the hospital, tension and hesitation seemed to be bottling up within LeeAnn, grabbing him just as they were heading going to the hospital informing him that she was going to stay here to remain on guard for the two of them. An Obvious lie as there was little risk of an attack, fortunately, there was another man who swiftly went to their aid, introducing himself as Dacol Lubex, he helped on remove the unconscious man from his blitzle as a several medical staff left the entrance with a stretcher placing him on there, Kon and Dacol followed after them.

The hospital, in reality, was surprisingly modern and clean, with white tiled floors and strongly magical embedded. Eventually, after going through several corridors Kon and the others arrived at the final destination of where the client was going to be looked after. After an extended period of time as he was mid-way in conversation with Dacol, Dex woke up. Surpised about his change in location he looked around for something familiar, interestingly his focus jumped to the newcomer grabbing the loose portions of his clothes. "See I told you I wasn't lying!" Before he shook his head and removed something from his pockets. "Here Kon, take your reward, where is the lass that was with you?" Shrugging he informed him. "Well she doesn't seemed to be too fond of hospitals so I'll give her the reward if you want." Recognizing that everyone had their dislikes he handed him her reward as well before dismissing him. Returning to LeeAnn he threw her reward at her as he walked up to her. "Right Lee I think that's enough for today don't you?, Let's meet up tomorrow alright?"

LeeAnn could tell that her lie was totally obvious and she knew that. Why she even went through with it was a total mystery for the poor girl. It was probably one of those things that if she acted as if nothing was wrong it would go away at least mentally, she thought it would. The redhead began to think of thing such as her brother, how protective he was of her. She really did like that quality about him it made her feel closer to her brother as he did show some concern for her best of health. Perhaps, he did just didn't like to show it. She could tell it was probably was to show he was not weak or trying to be a presentable role model for his only little sister. It did make sense now that she thought about it.

Waiting was fine with, it didn't bother her at all since she had done this before tons of times. It was a rather common job for a Rune Knight to encounter, to protect, to guide someone back home perhaps they were being stalked or other small things that they feared that might happen to them. She heard Kon to outside with her bargin of the reward. The young redhead happily took and then nodded at him as a thank you for giving her the jewel. He mentioned doing another mission tomorrow. "As long if its not hospitals, churches or water then were fine" she said.
