Just as well, he wears brown leather boots safe to travel with in all kinds of drastically different types of weather. This even applies to his hairstyle, letting the wind do most of the work once he's dressed in the morning. He often carries with him a naive kind of confidence, as if all the evils in the world were just bumps on a long road. Not yet tempered by the world, he shows the demeanor of somebody who has either seen everything and persisted through it, or one who hasn't seen anything yet. When on official business as a knight, he is rarely seen slouching or relaxed in posture, taking his duties seriously. Despite this, he tries to appear as welcoming as possible should civilians require his aid. Extra: Burn marks running up Relius' right arm from his forearm to his shoulder. Personality Personality: Relius is dutiful and respectful. At almost any given point in the day he can be seen doing his utmost to embody the values of a knight fighting for the people of Fiore. While he wouldn't say he holds any loyalty to the king, he certainly pledged his loyalty to the church and all under its roof long ago. A protector, he's at his emotional peak when fighting for others. Aside from how Relius is on duty, off duty he's much more casual. He admittedly puts on the facade of an inspirational, daring paladin at times working as a knight, even when terrified. Swearing long ago to abandon his fear and cowardice on the battlefield, it takes a miracle to truly change a person completely. As such, all of his weaker traits are more transparent when he doesn't have to worry about standing up for somebody weaker than him or strengthening the image of the government in front of citizens. Being somewhat sheltered growing up in a church setting most of his life, he likes to learn what he can, when he can. Not having seen much of Fiore, nor being allowed to read about it in books, he feels as if he's experiencing most of it for the first time. Learning more about the world he's in, he feels, will help him better learn to keep its inhabitants safe. Oftentimes he appears to others to be stoic and aloof, but it's more because he doesn't know any other way to act. He feels like an "odd man out" a lot of the time - a normal person in a world filled with oddities, immense magical powers and twisted psychopaths. It makes him feel as if he needs to "puff his fur" so to speak, to appear bigger than he really is. After all, in combat the biggest threat is often attempted to be dealt with first if it seems possible. As such, making himself seem stronger than everybody else in the room is a surefire way to direct the harm onto him rather than anybody else of innocence. As far as Relius is concerned, he must accomplish this alone, or else he's not worthy of the role of knight. He's yet to find a way to increase this attitude at an organic pace in situations yet, however; resulting in very much a 0 - 100 in an instant type of event. Quiet and reserved to superhero within a breath. Should this attitude be seen under in serious combat however, Relius falls back to his last resort - the only true talent he has to speak of - purging himself of most emotions. Being the kind of person who tries to inspire others despite being weak himself, all that added energy is concentrated towards a primal, instinctual combat prowess. Focused in this way, he typically forgets his teammates as well as any battle strategies, seemingly on autopilot with the simple goal of killing all hostiles brutally and efficiently. Any tactics of his own are typically also thrown out, relying on a fast paced battle instinct showing little in the way of personal input or emotion. Relius knows this to be his greatest weakness in addition to something useful to him; a setback towards his attempt to become more than what he is, and a constant reminder of how difficult it is. This side of him only awakened upon obtaining his magic, so to him it's also a sign of allowing his own power to get the better of him. Relius frequently feels the need to copy others' mannerisms at times to gain a better understanding and closeness of those stronger and more capable than him. By doing this, he'll close the gap with those people sooner, or so he believes. Sometimes he just does it for pure fun as well, like if it seems enjoyable to somebody. Magic Magic Name: False Regulus Magic Element: Arcane Magic Description: Relius, possessing little talent for magic, decided upon attaining knighthood that his style of magic would be that of his savior and hero; a mysterious man in gold utilizing what Relius would later know as Regulus magic. While "hot", the "fire" of False Regulus does not burn those it touches in the traditional sense. Rather than golden, the flames of the magic are colored a dim, lifeless grey normally. With the chant of, "O Regulus, grant me power", however, the magic springs to life, vibrant and gold. Relius' hair becomes more defined and lion-like, and gains a ring conjured from magic with the only purpose of appearing like the original rings Relius once saw.. With proper and constant channeling of mana, Relius can appear in all respects to be like a Celestial Spirit; or at least close to, including attempts to scan or deduce his identity via magical means. However, this only serves the purpose of intimidation, and at lower levels of power at least gives no obvious benefits other than to appear drastically more powerful. Regardless of whether the chant is said, False Regulus magic can be used. It functions similarly to Regulus, except elementless instead of light-aligned. It's capable of strengthening the user's physical attacks and statistics with magic, and creating beams of energy. All attacks will give the target the sensation of burning without any actual flames or burn wounds being present physically, but will still leave scratches, bruises and cuts. Due to its properties and being elementless, its "light" can be formed to deal damage as blunt force, slashing, piercing or burning, making it a very versatile damage dealing magic. History History: Relius grew up at the Argon Abbey, just on the outskirts of Magnolia. All orphaned children living at the abbey are given the last name "Argon" in honor of the grace of the Church. Relius was no exception, being just a normal boy among many. Yet while other boys explored and adventured, he was stuck inside most days. Being a doormat for many others and having an inability to say no to a request, he ended up doing the chores and homework of other kids within the church. Despite this, he was satisfied with his life, and as the years passed, became a devout follower of Illumin and the Chant of Light. Being raised on it, he had no true choice in allowing it to become his dominant viewpoint, for better or worse. He had wanted to take it a step further after hearing of the Holy Knights and their quests under the banner of light, fighting evil. Yet with a body frail as Relius', and with low talent and potential as a wizard, he thought it pointless to try. One day years later, there was a dark guild raid on the abbey. They had nothing in the way of money, so it was likely just to send a message and decrease local light guild morale. Hiding in the basement, Relius and the other children could hear fighting outside - no doubt priests and adventurers fighting the dark mages. One by one Relius could hear the pained screams of people he had come to know - before it all stopped. Relius moved upstairs despite the protests of the others with him, and upon reaching the ground floor was met with a blade grazing his cheek, drawing blood. Before him was Abbot Argon, the head of the abbey, with a murderous glimmer. Something was different, however. Dark robes, and the constant whispering that he had to do "Her" bidding and kill the children too. Relius wasn't as concerned about that as he was trying to talk the abbot out of it - and upon realizing he couldn't, resigned himself to an early grave. A grave that didn't come. Relius opened his eyes to see a glorious light erupt from the front doors of the abbey and fill the entire structure. "O Regulus..." was all Relius had heard before Abbot Argon had been surrounded by a holy light in the shape of a lion made from pure magic. In the resulting attack, nothing remained of Abbot Argon afterwards. Other similarly dressed, black-robed men filled the room, but were quickly met with the same fate. In stepped a man dressed in formal attire and with golden hair. He scanned the abbey, noting and counting the corpses of the hooded men, and then looked right at Relius. Wordlessly he came over to the boy, smiling brightly, and offered him a hand to his feet. Upon Relius' acceptance, the man turned away and waved with a smile. Just like that, he seemed to vanish into particles of stardust. Years passed, but Relius never got that image out of his mind. The terror of those dark mages, contrasted by the brilliant light of that man who came to the rescue. The abbey eventually had to close due to lack of funding. That attack was apparently enough to cause many to stop supporting them out of paranoia that it could easily happen again. No mention anywhere was made thanking or rewarding the golden man for his trouble, and Relius always did find that odd. The incident sparked something unnatural in Relius - a desire to do good and make use of the life that he was allowed to continue living. And so at the age of 14, rather than transfer to a new abbey, he began training as a Rune Knight. Demonstration of some kind of ability to defend oneself was necessary, so Relius began to imagine the kind of wizard he wanted to become - and found his answer. With what little he saw of that golden magic, he replicated it to the best of his ability through remembering and visualizing whatever he could. It was nowhere near as potent, and sustained many burn wounds during the process, but eventually learned of its origin as Regulus magic; and thus of its usage by the golden man who saved him years prior. With this knowledge, Relius altered his own body to temporarily mimic that of his savior’s and gain his own version of Regulus - False Regulus. Inferior in every way, a pure copycat, but it was the basis for Relius' determination to become like that man some day, and to rely on his own presumed power to frighten those stronger than Relius. This was enough to grant him a post as a Rune Knight a few months ago, where he has served dutifully since while practicing his magic and increasing his strength. Reference: N/A |

Head : Body : Modification : Companion : Alright with that out of the way we can begin with the grading itself, now there's a few things that will need to be adjusted. For instance unfortunately the Holy Knights for the time being is a restricted faction as such you can not apply for them directly, though this is subject to change after the release of season 2. Currently to join the Holy Knights however is a rather indirect route which needs to be further explored, for now I'd recommend you either select Rune Knights, Guildless or wait until season 2 is released in the hopes that the Holy Knights become directly accessible. Please also include the units of measurement for both height and weight.
Another motivation is also recommended however is not mandatory.
As for your magic you will want to adjust it to remove instance of things such as mentions of Leo as a Celestial spirit because such being may be used in the future and it would affect the lore of both yourself and the site if you were to mimic him only for the lore around him to change. Aside from the description you will need to change the Element to Non-elemental or in keeping with the changes of season 2 to Arcane.
