Finally... It was finally time to leave for Baska, and see for herself whether or not she might find Snowflake and Chelvaric in there. She'd seen neither of them in Worth Woodsea, but then again she all but breezed through the skeleton carnival, going through every game in a row with the kind of endurance only a day long marathon runner possibly could. She had quite a few setbacks though, and forgetting something important in Orchidia had been the worst of them all. She had packed only four changes of clothes as she left Hargeon and hardly anything else at all, and she wound up having to get them all washed up on an almost daily basis.
The last of the games in particular did a number on her dress... She'd almost refrained from participating in that one until she remembered all the things magic could do. Seriously, if she could create diamonds out of thin air, then it shouldn't be too hard to find a magical dry cleaner around her somewhere now would it? And indeed it wasn't, though it cost her a pretty penny. Completely worth it though, since she was determined to wear that dress again, someday... Maybe even before this year's halloween came and went.
But at this rate, no manner of washing would clean up the sweat stains on her new favorite sporting gear: a sleeveless red top and bike shorts, both tight and flexible, but light enough to let her skin breathe through, confining her voluptuous form without restricting her movements. All in all, the ideal choice of sporting gear... Being in a hurry also meant she cared a lot less about wearing no clothes every day, especially if that meant carrying them across the country during day long marathons. Sure, she was happy if she found enough time to get them cleaned up, but she'd worn this same clothes for three of those journeys, and now prepared to embark on the greatest of all: She'd be jogging her way across Fiore for not one but five days straight - taking breaks along the way to rest and recover her energy and mana - but otherwise she'd simply be running non stop.
Running cross country from one town to another was one thing, but pulling it off across roughly five towns give or take required some careful planning overhead. She picked a healthy balance between the more easily traversed paths and the least frequented ones, favoring flat lands with plentiful visibility. If she didn't ran afoul of interferences, she'd arrive in Baska somewhat quickly for someone who was simply travelling on foot, on her own path. Truly, this was a rather Alisa-esque way of doing things, forging her own path instead of traversing the beaten one...
"Almost there...", she huffed at the last stretch of the way, her drenched outfit sticking to her body the whole way. She could already see Baska, just as the sun set and the day turned to night. SHe'd be there before long
