Overall: Alfyn has silver-white hair with blue highlights. He alternates between two looks one with short hair and another with longer hair which he has in a ponytail. His facial characteristics are quite soft giving him his young adult charm. He is thin and fit with a hint of muscle and his height would be described average at best. He likes to dress fashionably and sometimes flamboyant going for a more regal look if the situation demands it, but he also pays attention to his casualwear. He carries himself with grace and elegance in his movements and posture without being too extra, just enough so he can make some eyes turn. He always dresses appropriately for the occasion but prefers more comfortable everyday clothing.

Personality: A kind, cheerful young man with a charming smile. Alfyn thinks of life as a gift that ought to be respected and embraced and will try to help those who need his aid without much hesitation. He thinks of close friends like family and is always open to hearing them out or assisting them with their troubles. Polite and heartwarmingly friendly, he leaves a good impression in people's minds.

He doesn't care to categorize actions and people as good or bad, right or wrong. He is understanding of someone having their own reasoning for their course of action as he will also sometimes follow his instincts instead of what is "right". What he cares about is that innocent people aren't harmed due to those actions.

He is quite social and likes a good laugh and a good time but also appreciates his private time allowing him to recharge his batteries and be his best self. That said he can have mood swings seemingly out of the blue, something he attributes to his whimsical fae side which also makes him behave like a trickster sometimes, pulling innocent pranks just to get a laugh out of the person and of course for his own amusement.

Despite being a studious person Alfyn loves adventuring and exploring, seeing and experiencing the world with his own eyes. He is always excited to be going on a new adventure.

Likes:

Performing Arts: Alfyn is passionate about music, he has knowledge over most common instruments and loves trying to figure out each instrument in a given track. Having a background in singing and dancing he has managed to meld them in his everyday life by performing at his normal job and using songs to work some of his magic.
Medicine: Having studied medicine in his home country of Caelum he was one of the top students in the field. Using various herbs and a bit of his own magic he can concoct elixirs and poultices that can cure almost any ailment or physical wound. He also likes experimenting, trying to find cures for mental and magical ailments.
Food: Alfyn is a foodie, always snacking on something unless he's too busy and focused. He craves desserts and sweets more than other kinds of food even having that preference in drinks. Since both his normal and mage life require exercising he is able to indulge in his snacking habit without fear.

Fights & Arguments: Alfyn dislikes participating in fights or arguments, he will never attempt to provoke one and always try to find a peaceful solution through words and communication. He will also not partake in others' arguments unless he is very close with the people involved. However, if he finds others arguing amusing he might as well spectate.

Knowledge: Innately curious about the world around him Alfyn absorbs information like a sponge and continuously thirsts for more as he explores the marvels that surround him. He strives to learn as much as possible about culture, science and magic and grow through them while acquiring the right tools to understand others.
Healing: Having turned into a fae, his Sidhe amplified his innate want to help others, especially injured individuals either by healing their wounds or listening to them and trying to heal their emotions and hearts. He feels it his mission to provide relief for as many people as possible.

Pain: Alfyn is afraid of experiencing unbearable pain, one of the reasons he has focused so much on medicine. He will avoid situations where he knows can be extremely dangerous for him to handle but that fear is also what drives him to improve not only for himself but also to alleviate the pain of others.
Thalassophobia: Unknown waters that house unknown creatures, or even known for that matter. Alfyn is terrified even at the thought of leviathan sea creatures that are hidden in the salty depths. When having to cross long distances by boat he will only do so with a group and only if he knows that within that group is someone strong enough to match the terror of the potential sea creatures along the way.

Magic Description: The user taps into his Sidhe allowing him to call upon a fragment of his soul's true nature "Elah'Zad". Drawing power from his fairy ancestry he can perform a combination of nature and water magic that represents his psyche and manifests in various ways through instantaneously concocted elixirs, songs and music, runes and sigils, flowers or by speaking words of power.
The specialty of the magic is healing that can also hurt the enemies of the user, while also allowing him to cast protective, buffing and debuffing spells.

History

History: Ages ago, before the battle between Seraphim and Demons, hidden within one of the islands of what is known as Caelum laid a sacred fairy grove centered around a spring. Elah'Zad was a place of healing, the spring's waters were the clearest and purest in all the lands able to purify body and mind from the worst afflictions, even those deemed incurable by some. The fairies of that grove were kind and gentle caretakers and healers helping anyone that sought their help, able to feel others' pain they would even look for them on their own to provide care in contrast to most fairies' aloof nature.

When the war broke out not even Elah'Zad was spared by its twisted and bloody nature. Demons found out about the grove and the spring and wished to claim it for their own or even destroy it if it was of no use to them, the fairies fought valiantly to protect their home and even some of the humans that had settled around it tried to defend it but to no avail, the demons overpowered them with ease and all seemed lost.

As the demons were advancing towards the spring the fairies decided to bring the entirety of it down as to not let them have such power in their hands. After entrusting a phial of the waters of Elah'Zad to their most kindhearted fairy they implored her to escape, survive and later return when the war was over to bring back the blessed water to this place. The fairy only turned her head once to see her home crumble to dust before taking off towards unknown places.

Alfyn was born and raised in a happy family. He grew up to be a gentle and kindhearted soul always ready to provide assistance with a smile. He had the best education Caelum had to offer but only because he wanted it to, his parents gave him the freedom to decide his future and see for himself how things would turn out. He was fascinated by nature, plants and herbs and their properties, he studied medicine and healing magic in the universities of Caelum impressing his teachers with his talent. Drawn to his country's culture he had a deep respect for the fairyfolk and the magic they bestowed to the place.

After graduating he decided to leave Caelum and experience the world, he heard of adventurers gathering in Fiore, tough explorers, powerful mages, his thirst of knowledge was sure to be quenched if he ventured to that place, after all you can only find so much knowledge in books. A couple of days before his departure he received a gift from his parents, a book that was written in a language he couldn't understand. His parents explained that it was fairy language and that at the end of the book there was a map leading to ruins of a fairy grove on that same island. Alfyn rejoiced at his first opportunity to explore and by sunrise the next day he was already at the ruins standing in front of them in awe. He thought it was peculiar how the map described the area as a grove but all he found were ruins next to which nothing grew. He also found it weird how it seemed no one had come to this place at least recently even though he managed to find it quite easily.

He explored the area till nighttime, not realizing it and not being able to find his way back, even with the map it seemed like the forest path was changing. Not being able to return he decided to magic a small camp near the ruins. As he was falling asleep he heard a voice calling for help, he jumped awake and called back but there was no answer. Taking some light from the camp he explored the ruins once again all the while calling back to the voice to no avail. Until he heard the cry for help again, this time clearer as he rushed to the spot of the sound where he found a girl lying down wounded. As he tried to mend her wounds she stopped him and told him there's no time while turning to look into Alfyn's eyes. "I chose well" she giggled strained as she caressed his cheek. Alfyn was too stunned to speak due to the whole incident but also due to her beauty and how he understood what she just said, in fairy language. He noticed her other hand on his chest above his heart pressing something on to him. "Return to us Elah'Zad" were the last words he heard before a flash of light made him lose consciousness.

In the morning he woke up beside his camp as if it was all a dream, but something felt different inside him. In the following days Alfyn left his home in Caelum and made it to Fiore. After he travelled around the country for a month or two he decided to stay and perhaps build a life there. He heard about a neutral mage guild called Paradise Dawn that had no affiliation with any other form of political power and was on the lookout for scholars, something that sparked an interest in him and made him decide to become a member. In the meantime, after the incident in the ruins which he realized was not actually a dream he started seeing changes in himself. His silver hair brightened to a silver-white with blue highlights and his eyes changed from a deep violet to lavender. What was more shocking was that he could now read the book he was given in the fairy language, which eventually led him to realize he was changed into a fae. And now his search for answers begins.
